Purchased 3 burner hob & a chimney from Blowhot, Banashankari, Bangalore during May 2019 installed & used for exact one year. June 2020, the glass all of a sudden one day shattered into pieces. Neither any hot plates or utensils were dropped nor the stove was being used from very long time. My wife just starting cooking morning breakfast & with in 2 mins, the hob glass just shattered. Checked with the hotline number & the reply was as usual, it can be replaced, but no guarantee or warranty would cover it as it is glass. The question is why did it break for which no body from Blowhot had any an answer. They also confirmed that this is the first case they are hearing about the same. SOme how they managed to replace the shattered glass with new one at Rs 2500 in next 10 days.
