I damaged one of the tires on my car and need for it to be replaced. Unfortunately the specific brand and model of the tire is not available with the dealership and they have absolutely no line of sight on when it will be available. It could take a month or 3 months or longer! They claim the tire is not available anywhere in the country. They won’t offer another brand either since apparently their warranty doesn’t cover it.
In other words, the company can’t find a replacement tire for the car and won’t give me an alternative either. And during this time I will continue to rundown the warranty period on the car. Not to mention the EMI payments!
This has been a highly frustrating experience and makes me question the decision to buy a BMW in the first place! They should be making sure that appropriate supply exists for spare parts for their vehicles. Or if they can’t ensure that, stop selling those affected models in the country. Cause right now they just happen to taking their customers in this country for a ride!
