I had booked 3 tickets for sully at pvr cinemas in Orion mall at Bangalore.when I reached there, I was told that since the movie is A rated i cannot take my 3yr old child inside.I contacted the staff at the ticket counter they told me that I could ask for refund my putting a mail to bookmyshow.com, who would in turn get in touch with pvr cinemas. Then pvr would confirm that 3 seats were no occupied and give ok for refund.This is the process as informed by the staff at the ticket counter. Now when I put a mail to book my show.com, they reply that the cinema has refused for refund.
Further book my show staff who got in touch with me want me to go and personally process the refund.If that is the case then (a) the staff at the ticket counter has debilerately mislead me and (b) book my show staff have let me down by asking me to process the refund myself.
Why did the staff at pvr lie to me?Why is bookmyshow washing their hands off when customer needs their help?
