I have BMW 3 Series Petrol 330i M Sport Shadow Edition, Regn no DL1CAB1183 : Purchased on hire & lease basis for 5 years through Avis from Bird Automotives Pvt Ltd, Gurgaon ( BMW dealer ) in 2019 . In less than 3 year time car running is limited to 13, 500 KM only city driving !
In the last less than 3 years period already 5 Tyres are replaced each time through hire & leasing Company Avis, meanwhile, each time Bridgestone has rejected complaint ( raised through Avis ) stating that side wall bulge is not manufacturing defect but it is happening due to external damages and those are invisible as neither tyre is having any cut or concussion or car is having any kind of impact as well as tyre pressure is also well maintained!
Clearly, Bridgestone Runflat tyres are extremely substandard and poor quality with inbuilt manufacturing defects . Trust, nobody would have experienced such turbulent situation that 5 Bridgestone tyres are already replaced in less than 13500 KM car running in less than 3 year time at different interval !
Bridgestone needs to immediately arrange Free of cost replacement for all these 5 tyres other wise necessary legal action through consumer forum would be initiated! Further, in my personal opinion any body opting for combination of BMW car with Bridgestone run flat tyre is inviting permanent trouble ! Was this information helpful? |
