The recently emerging google advertiser in the indian self-publishing market is buuks.com. The website claims fictitious & fraudulent statistics which are very easy to be busted. Please do your share of basic researching on the company and you will find the below data facts exposing their false claims. This company from the southern part of india is putting a lot of money in google advertisement recently and running a racket to befool ordinary authors by taking money from them by using false and misleading statistics. Please do the basic research on the facts shared by them on their website and you will understand why you need to be careful about them.
False or misleading claim #1: 13 years
Their home page hints of being in the business in 13 years. Their main website got registered on july 23, 2015. Their “so-called” parent company “energi group” registered their website on march 18, 2016. So, seems like a fat lie.
False or misleading claim #2: 4 million titles
Their home page claims of publishing 4 million titles. Google published that the whole world contains around 130 million books since the first printing press was in effect. Which tells our civilization is actually owes to this fraudulent organization buuks. Fact is, penguin - world’s number on publishers publish 15 thousand new titles per year so *maximum of 1.5 million new titles in last 10 years!* :)
The last nail in their coffin - just check their own website covering books published by them.* it has only 29 titles. :) *
False or misleading claim #3: 21 thousand book covers, 500 thousand authors
Just use your damn brain! They claimed of publishing 4 million titles, whereas they have only 500 thousand authors! From those 500 thousand authors and 4 million titles, only 21 thousand book covers? And still, a lot of people are being befooled by buuks! Wow!
So, all the fellow consumers, authors, and self-publishers, please be aware of the fraudulent organization who are bombarding people with false claims. Please don't be fooled and lose lakhs of rupees while self-publishing with these shameful and dishonest book publishing company from india. Please share this with all the authors you know so that there will be no more victims.

Realistic Claim #1: 13 Years
Amnet had a formal tie-up with CreateSpace (later acquired by Amazon KDP) where Amnet was listed as the independent eBook and paperback formatting vendor. By servicing international self-publishing authors through CreateSpace, as a group, we developed a very strong capability and capacity for self-publishing as a business unit. With a view to expand our offerings in self-publishing to customers in India, the group launched BUUKS officially on the 1st of Dec 2018.
It is a fact that our group company, The Enerji Group decided to have its own website in March 2016. People with business acumen will know that the start date of the website need not be equal to the start of the business itself. Further, the group entity formation was done a few years ago and individual companies like Amnet, Springbord, etc. were consolidated under the group umbrella much later.
Realistic Claim #2: 4 Million Titles
Through CreateSpace many international authors found Amnet to be a capable partner for their self-publishing requirements. Hence we were able to support an average of 25, 700 titles per month for 13 years.
Realistic Claim #3: 21 Thousand Book Covers, 500 Thousand Authors
It’s not without reason that our group company Amnet has been in business for close to two decades. The primary reason being extremely satisfied customers. This has been a key reason for our success and every author who has used our services comes back for repeat services making it an average of 8 books/author (please do the arithmetic yourself – 8x500, 000). Book cover design services were offered as an a-la-carte and not as a packaged service and hence the number of book covers we designed will not tally with the number of titles we worked on.
