Complaint – Insufficient water supply to 6 ‘A’ Cross
Dear Sir
We, the residents of Chinnappanahalli 6A
Cross, Doddanakundi Extenstion have the Cavery water connections. We do not get water for 15 days at a time and
even if there is supply, it is only for about ½ hour to 1 hour. We are suffering with the problem of
insufficient water supply. Residents from
other cross/streets (around our area) in Chinnappanahalli are getting normal
water supply.
On talking to the person who is in-charge of
water supply in our area, Muni Anjanappa/Nagaraj, we are told that the pipe is
broken and it will be repaired in 3-4 days, It is almost 3 weeks now.
We have suffered in-sufficient water supply
from past 20 days. I request concerned higher officer to look into this matter
& solve the problem.
WE PAY OUR BILLS even though THERE is NO REGULAR
WATER SUPPLY. This is to bring to your
notice that there has been no regular water supply for from 1st March’ 2015.
Request you to get the necessary pipes
repaired immediately, in such situation the residents of our street will be grateful
to you Request you to provide us with a Complaint ID Number for us to follow up
on this issue and get this resolved.

Our locality has main supply waterlines on the main roads and smaller feeder lines on the cross roads.
While all residents on the main roads and also those on cross roads who have managed to hook up themselves to main lines enjoy an uninterrupted 5-6 hrs of water supply (about 12-15 Klts) on alternate days, residents like me on cross roads receive a miserable 1 hr of supply.
There is a huge disparity in the quantum of water supplied to these two segment of the residents. About 10%
residents enjoy 5-6 times the water supply of the rest 90%.
The entire control is with the valve man, who takes a one man call.
My sincere request to the department is to replace all manual valves by automatic valves and ensure all residents receive equitable quantum of water.
This will be a fair justice and great help to many residents like me, residing in the locality for more than 3 decades.
