After suffering for a month, we informed the Byju’s Cancellation Team on 21st July that it has been a torture for us as parents and the child since we have taken the subscription for Byju’s.
The subscription was taken on 19th June 2022.
- To our first surprise, our child was put into altogether different slots from what we chose. Thereafter we had to call the customer care team (multiple times) just to get the timing changed to the required slots for Science and Maths.
- Even then the timing for the elective subjects English and Social Studies were not corrected. So NUMEROUS requests were again made by us in July mid two weeks. Each time we were told that the change will happen in 2 days. We waited and then again nothing happened. At times we were also given incorrect options of Saturday Sunday and then again things didn’t happen.
- Even till 21st July the time slot for Social Studies was still NOT setup correctly even when we have done numerous requests and everytime false inputs have been shared.
- Then as a shock, even the regular time slots for Science and Maths were changed all of a sudden back by backend team. We got to know only when our child was not able to join and different days were appearing in the app. When we called, we were told it’s a technical glitch. Really? Is this the way?
- Not only the time slots impact was there; but even the subject for the sessions was something that was already done earlier in the Tuesday, Thursday slots.
- We raised complaints in the past and nothing happened. Even as a last resort when we raised yet another request on 19th July then we were told that needful update will happen by 20th afternoon. But as expected – nothing happened. And our child was not able to again attend the classes.
- During entire tenure even the assigned senior mentor never bothered to connect in spite of our requests
- Essentially this subscription didn’t lead to any knowledge addition which was the primary aim for the same. In fact it has led to a lot of mental and emotional agony at our end. We even had to change all other classes like Karate etc which all went in vain.
We have already requested Byjus Cancellation team multiple times but each time they state a senior manager will call in 24 hours and that never happens as expected. Also every time they give a new request id. (Request IDs shared till date are 35803272, 35616951 and[protected]
Please arrange for a full refund of the 26, 600 INR amount. This has been already discussed with the counsellor as well on 21st July.
