Have been a customer of Byjus for a few years and my son had used Byjus App for studies during 7th and 8th standards. But our experience with the 2nd stretch has not been beneficial as explained below.
My son, Vismay Mohan (Reg no:1145677) had enrolled for Byjus Online Entrance Coaching for classes 10, 11 and 12 on 10/02/2022 during the last few months of 10th Standard. The classes were good, but he could attend classes for 10th for about 2.5 months only till the end of the academic year.
We found that Byjus classes for 11th standard were not that good as many of the classes consisted of recorded videos. My son also found it difficult to understand the concepts as the classes were conducted at a very fast pace. These issues were informed to the Mentor, but the actions suggested did not result in any improvement. So, we had to put him for additional tuition.
He had been attending the online classes more or less regularly till July. But schools reopened in August 2022 and with extra classes and tuition, he is not able to attend Byjus classes now.
Hence, we would like to discontinue the course by the end of this month. A total of ₹ 68, 669 ( ₹8000 towards initial registration and ₹60, 669 towards EMI paid till now) has been paid of the total course fee of ₹1, 12, 000/-. i.e., about 61% of the fees has been paid though the benefits availed are only about 25% considering the time o[censored]sage. It is clarified that we have received neither tablet nor memory card from Byjus. We are also ready to return the books if required.
In view of the above, we would like to discontinue the course and stop further payments. It is requested to cancel the payment mandate with my bank by 31/10/2022. In any case, I would be instructing my bank to stop further payments in this regard.
