Since the course contents were not helpful for him, we initiated a course cancellation and partial refund on July 26, 2022.
It's been almost three months and I haven't received any refund as of Oct 15, 2022.
I've called and mailed the Byju's customer support multiple times about the refund status. They repeatedly tell me that the cancellation is pending for approval and it'll be done within 48 hours and refund will be provided within 7-10 business days.
I've been waiting for multiple rounds of 48 hours and multiple rounds of 10 business days and haven't received refund yet.
Few customer care representatives have yelled at me for rightfully and politely pointing out their process flows while requesting reason for delays. It's been mentally exhausting.
I wonder how they confirm an admission within minutes after down payment while cancellation takes more than a quarter to be confirmed. And similarly they are absolutely sweet and convincing, punctual up until we make a purchase that it makes me wonder how they are even capable of yelling at their customers.
I'm fed up with their system and would never purchase any products from Byjus or Aakash in future. Honestly, there are many references books and free source videos that do a much better job at teaching kids at a lower price.
For the time being, I request Byjus to please expedite my cancellation and process refund as soon as possible (within 7-10 working days in their preferred terms) Was this information helpful? |
