I am a account holder of canara bank since 2000. I am in the army now for last 17 years as well. I have been most of the times been posted to high altitude and counter insurgency difficult areas where there was nil net connectivity and communication.
Why i am telling all this has a reason. I took a 7 lacs loan at the floating rate of interest in 2005 april. My terms were 20 years period. Since i cudnt monitor closely the rates that were levied by bank, the bank also took this as a golden opportunity to secretly without telling me, keep the highest rates of interest and keep taking my hard earned money. When i saw the interest rate of this financial year, it was 11.5 % throughout the year while the current rates were 8.5 %. The present manager has a role to play as well, as he must be aware.
