Recently I bought an used car from Capital honda nearby to chennai Airport. I bought the on Feb 15. This is my first car & am not much familiar with car. So I just checked the car running conditions & exterior looks which was quite smooth and good. I got the car delivered making sure that it's not a flood affected vehicle as well no accidental damages in the vehicle as per the statement given by the sales consultant Mr Pazhani. I noticed some minor scratches & floor mats was tampered. So I checked with the representative, he promised me to deliver the car by giving a small coat of paint & as well fixing a dent on the running board. So when I went to get my car after all the payments were settled. As I was in a urge to get back to my work, I didn't notice anything inside the car. As soon as I started I came to know that the car music system is not working and the headlamps were not working properly as well the bumper and floor mats were not fixed properly but the car was well polished with a glossy look. So I reached the person who sold the car through phone, he just responded that he will have it fixed later. So I got really annoyed after such a non sense as they fail to keep up their commitments. After a week time, I just approached a local garage nearby my residence to check on the vehicle conditions to service my vehicle. The service person clearly outlined the problems in the vehicle which was never told by the sales person from Capital honda. There are some major issues in the vehicle such as oil leaks from the engine castings & all the engine parts were completely replaced which shows some traces of an accident vehicle. To make up this the body of the car is well painted. So the next day I approached directly to the showroom to meet the person requesting for the vehicle service records and much more about the vehicle history. As I explained those things to Mr Pazhani, the next word he uttered where did you hit your vehicle. I really lost my mind with him & requested him to take back the vehicle with some depreciation cost as I used the car for a week time or to replace with some other vehicle available over there and suggested to stop the name transfer process which is ongoing. Here I came to know the real face of the person, the sales rep handled the issue as they are no longer responsible for such problems and stated he will check with his manager. I said, I will meet his manager straight to come to a conclusion but he never let me to meet his manager & suggested to come next day. I questioned him why I need to waste my day for your irresponsibility, for that the sales person speaks like if your cheated what's the point in blaming us and why you are questioning us.I replied why shouldn't I question you when I pay for the product and moreover I bought it from you people. Finally our conversation ended up in a hassle. However he is least bothered for my questions anymore. He responded like it's your fault to check those things before delivery and spoke like as if they are no longer responsible as they sold the vehicle. I agree it's my mistake but am really disappointed with their response as he ignored to provide the service records. Is this how they respond to a customer. I got really frustrated with him and left the place. A customer service person should understand the situation of the customer and try to give solution with the alternate options available but here I don't understand how such a kind of people were given a job to handle the customer queries. All they want is to fill their pockets at the end of the day. So hereby I post my experience to share others don't fall into the trap of such a company selling cars who doesn't even service the customers properly once they get profited from us.
