Respected Sir, My name is Sitendra Nath Khan. I am 67 years old residing in House No. 8, Block- G Annesha Co-operative Society, Nuton Pally, Benachity, Town- Durgapur, State- West Bengal, Pin- 713213. I have been sold a Maruti Suzuki 800 Fuel type- Petrol, Variant- AC, Colour- Silky Sliver, Chassis No. MA3ECA12S02829723, Engine No. F8BIN4381430 bearing Registration No. WB40V0295 to the CARS24 SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED on 13/10/2020 vide their Appointment ID No. [protected]. For this transaction, I have received a selling price of Rs. 94040/- only. As per terms and conditions executed on 13/10/2020, Cars 24 is liable to transfer ownership of my car within 180 days. However, my above-mentioned car bearing Registration No. WB40V0295 not yet transferred to the name of Company or the name of some other person even after elapse of more than 1 Year 2 months. In this regard, I have several times approached the Cars24 customer care through Contact No. [protected] but their representative always stated through email up to date that WE WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE CAUSED DUE TO THE DELAY. OUR TEAM IS ALREADY LOOKING INTO YOUR CONCERN. WE WOULD REQUIRE SOME MORE TIME IN ORDER TO PROVIDE AN UPDATE ON YOUR CASE. MEANWHILE, YOU ARE COVERED UNDER OUR CUSTOMER PROTECTION POLICY. 2. I also pertinently mentioned here that, during the month of July 2021 I have been received a call through Mobile No. [protected]/ [protected]. The caller stated his name as Pintu Mondal talking from Niyamatpur which falls under the Police Station of Kulti and requested to me for reach at Asansol RTO for RC Transfer. Accordingly, I have reached the RTO office of Asansol and signed all relevant documents of RC transfer. But due to RC not being transferred from the end of Asansol RTO I have further signed all relevant documents of RC transfer in Durgapur RTO. However, my RC of the said sold car has not yet been transferred. Probably, presently the said documents are available in the custody of the Vender of Durgapur RTO namely Mr Animesh whose Mobile Number is- [protected]. Thereafter channel partner of Cars24 i.e Mr Pintu Mondal demanded Rs. 15000/- from me for RC transfer of said sold car which is illegal as per terms of the condition of Cars24. In this regard, I have also complained to Cars24 against the said channel partner and reply received that WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE SAME, OUR CONCERNED TEAM, IS ADVISED TO CONTACT THE CHANNEL PARTNER FOR THE SAME. ADDITIONALLY, WE WOULD REQUEST YOU NOT TO PAY ANY SUCH AMOUNT. MEANWHILE, YOU ARE COVERED UNDER OUR CUSTOMER PROTECTION POLICY. 3. Sir, RC of my sold-out car bearing Registration No. WB40V0295 not yet transferred by the Cars24 service Pvt Limited. It has been alleged that despite clear understanding to transferring the ownership of the above-mentioned car between myself and CARS24 SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED, which is breaching the main essential terms of the Contract executed on 13/10/2020 supporting documents attached. Sir, they are failed to transfer the RC of the aforesaid car within the stipulated time as mentioned in their documents which are reflected a violation of terms conditions and fraud nature. Due to their fraudulent nature, I have faced tremendous mental agony and stress.

Prayer: It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that this Honble Forum/ Commission may kindly be pleased directed to the CARS24 SERVICE PVT LIMITED to transfer the above-said vehicle in their name of or in the name of other person and also to pay compensation of Rs. 1, 00, 000/- to me on account of mental agony and harassment.
