We were travelling in auto (Kl.44.6136) on 25th april at 4.20 am from ernakulam town to perumanoor, thevera. The driver told he will charge rs 20/km (Which was higher than usual as a night charge). We agreed. So he fixed the price at rs 150, he don't have any meter. But after reaching the destination he changed the fare to rs 180. We argued with him but he was so adamant and not listening to us. He was so rude in speaking and dealing with us. Finally, we thought we will lodge complaint against the vehicle and took photo of vehicle number and paid him what he said. Its a high time to stop this exploitation. Its not about the money but its about the attitude and mentality of auto drivers to exploit the passengers. Today it happened with us but tomorrow it may happen with anybody as well.
