Sub: Complaint from the Touring Party, Gujrat Tour(11th October, 2013) organized by Chalo Jai Travel Club, Kolkata.
Respected Sir,
We the undersigned tourists of the aforesaid Touring Party, regret to inform you that since the beginning of our tour from 11th October, 2013 everything looks completely in disarray with mismanagement and inefficient staffs which is increasing exponentially every day.
The tour itenary is rewritten everyday with schedules not being followed at all. As a result we have missed a lot of sight scenes which is making the tour looking more like a bus journey than anything else.
The tour manager Toton, is so unprofessional in all respects and he is least bothered about the wellbeing of the tourists. He fails to abide by any timelines or schedules, ends up mismanaging every responsibility and is also adamant on his wrong statements or plannings. His behaviour towards seniors or ladies is horrible.
The other man Mr. Shambo Ghosh is more a traveller and a guest than a manager. He is busy only photographing our agony and sufferings and never interested in the concern of the tourists. A special mention should be made of the incident that happened near Diu Beach on 15.10.2013.Your chief photographer Mr. Shambo Ghosh got into a verbal conflict with some senior tourists and ended up using some filthy languages which is shameful to mention here.
The kitchen staffs are so novice in the art of cooking that they are presenting awful dishes everyday which is inedible. The food quality and the choice of menu is below standard. Despite repeated requests and guidance they are not being able to raise the standards.
The hired guide Mr. Manish seems to be a newbie in Gujrat . He is not aware of the routes or the distances or any road obstacles. Such is the horrible condition that the roadside eateries being chosen don’t have proper water supply even. We are provided with a litre of water every day and are restricted to it only.
We would also like to point out that our bus driver is driving a luxury Volvo for the first time. He is a lorry driver by profession and because of this our journeys seem never ending. We start at early mornings and end up reaching late at nights.
We just wonder that after being so professional while taking the booking and payments how a big banner like CHALO JAI goes haywire while providing service to its customers. We didn’t pay a penny less and deserve full professional service. Our travel has turned into a nightmare with tourists raising health concerns and agonies.
We expect you to look into the matter with immediate effect and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence of such ugly incidents. Your immediate intervention is welcome and we wish the services for the rest of the tour will be as per your promised standards. Else it’s a black spot on your big fame and reputation.
Your actions and steps post this complains will decide our next course of action.

never go with this agency, very bad service
Very bad treatment, most dissatisfied journey with them. Never will go with this travel agency.
