Hi sir,
My name is manoj, i had newly bought a ktm duke 200 bike 2 days before.in showroom, they told number plate process will take around 10 days and they instructed me to show the documents given from the showroom if suppose police stops me. Today i was stopped by a traffic police in velachery vijayanagar signal near thalapakatti restaurant. He asked me about the number plate and i showed him the documents which was given to me in the showroom. But he did not accept those documents and was threatening to cease my vehicle if i didnt pay him the fine of rs 300. His intention was to loot money from me. Finally he forced me to pay rs 300 although i had every other documents with me. I payed fine of rs 300 and he didnt give me a receipt for that. I was totally depressed about this. I didnt see his name. His identity was, he was bald, darked skinned, wearing coolers and he was in velachery vijayanagar signal near thalapakatti restaurant. I request the police authority of chennai to take severe action against that policeman. Not only him many policemen were there looting money from everyone for unnecesary reasons. Kindly take action against them as soon as possible.
