I have a Chevrolet car model ENJOY - LTZ bought in 2014. It carries a warranty of 3 years. Being in warranty period, I am sending the car regularly to their authorised service centre - Ashtavinayak Service Centre at Goregaon - Mumbai.
For the past 4 times, the time taken for servicing has increased phenomenally. Whenever there is a warranty claim, I have not received the car before at least 2 weeks. After repeated complaints and requests, the replacement parts are not fitted. 2 examples are arm rest and switch to operate the bonnet. The arm rests have come out of their socket & the switch broken by one of their personnel during servicing.
Whenever the car goes for servicing, I am promised that these will be made good, but no result till date. During the last servicing (an accident insurance claim case), the car was there for more than 4 weeks, but the parts were not made available.
This time too, the car has been there for exactly 2 weeks and when following up for delivery of the car, I am told that they have sent a mail for parts under warranty, and are not yet been made available from General motors. After 2 weeks, I am being told that there is a problem in the A/c compressor, and for the same to be done under warranty, it will take one more week to have it repaired.
On raising my voice, the period was reduced to 4 days, but there is no guarantee that I will get the car in that period.
This has become a nuisance and it is unbearable that I have to travel by train inspite of having a car, and there is a strong feeling that General motors cares 2 hoots for the improvement of their service. Was this information helpful? |
