My appraisal 2017 was mishandled by the supervisor assigned in november 2017. Having not involved into my deliverables, his role is to only get feedback from delivery in charge and provide. But after multiple asks, he mentioned deliverables are not the reason but behaviour that I had spoken angrily to manager, him, QA Team and an associate director. Having asked that could have been discussed, he mentioned these things would not be discussed and noone acted in the team. I see his subjectiveness/lack of experience had impacted my appraisal that year. The onsite manger in charge of delivery had mentioned that only three were suggested for first rating and I'm one among them. The offshore had turned to second rating as the offshore manager had mentioned he had gone with the leads. After the project success in september 2017 in the project I had been key member, I see minor acts of mine from work stress were manipulated by the supervisor to retaliate/tarnish the work from possible insecurity of position. I had not taken the lead role and wanted to focus more of technical complex projects. I had got intermittent quartely feedbacks in that year 2017 that were good but the reasons that offshore project manager and the leads were providing were not valid and it appeared manager was defending them as for the dependency on the new project. Having data points not communicated effectively to horizontal healthcare team by the supervisor or the horizontal team not getting intermittent feedback through the year, my work was not evaluated and my performance was incorrectly evaluated as third rating. As it is dedicated hardwork done for the whole year 2017 with multiple deliverables, I see my performance evaluation has not happened in the proper way and impacted my mental health and further promotion cycles. I see my case to be investigated and appropriately answered for the sufferings i had to undergo from the mishandled appraisal. Was this information helpful? |
