Cognizant — shift allowance not received from company.

I was the cognizant employee, i resigned and separated from the company on 30 june. I have not received my night shift allowance for last 3 month i worked for cognizant. I have repeatedly raised request to my payroll team but each time i receive reply from them that i should contact my manager. I contacted my manager and told him about the issue, he said that there is some issue going on with the shift allowance process, my whole team has not received shift allowance for last 3 months. When i asked him will i receive the shift allowance later when everyone else will receive, he said that he is not sure i should ask the payroll team.
No one has contacted me from the payroll team they just mail me. I don't know what exactly i need to do. My manager is not cooperating and giving some positive response. I was forced to do the night shift and now i am not gelling the promised allowance.
