My name is Zinia Mukherjee, working in Cognizant Technology Solutions. In last February I received a call from an employee of HDFC stating that HDFC is providing credit card to cognizant employees without any extra cost/hidden cost as per collaboration. I agreed but never used the credit card, the card is intact in the envelop as of now. Few days after receiving the credit card, another person called me and literally forced me to pursue a policy against my card to make it secure. I denied multiple times, then he suggested to agree as of then and he would cancel it later whenever I would ask him to stop it. The very next day I called him to stop the policy, he agreed but did not do it. I was continuously getting bills against my card. After couple of days I called him again and talked to his manager as well. That senior person also agreed to stop the policy immediately but did not keep his word too. Few days later I called customer care and then they advised me too send hard copy mail to their Chennai office, I did that even. But it was of no use. I am still getting the bills, and it is getting higher and higher day by day which has reached now minimum 8000rs.. They are now sending representative to my home address to collect the money which I have never used. They are harassing me everyday over phone calls and mails. This is just not expected from a 'so-called' renowned bank like HDFC. Why should I pay them money when I have not used it even?
