Hi,
I am an ex-Cognizant employee and want to complain against the harassment and mental torture I have had to bear in last few years due to careless attitude of the company.
The ordeal began when I left the company and raised a request to withdraw my PF amount (PF No TN/MAS/31309/167220). I duly completed all formalities as directed by the company and waited for months to receive the amount. On receiving no amount in my bank account and no information from the company I followed up with the company through mail and it took them months to reply to mail post numerous chasers. Eventually it was discovered that there was some error in the filling of documents in PF office due to which the claim was rejected.
This started the never ending cycle (more than3 years and counting) of me providing new documents to the company, absolute silence from the company for months, me following up with them for months post non receipt of money and discovery of some new error in filling.
I believe the company is responsible for completing these formalities for employees in a timely manner or stop the PF facility in case they are incompetent to handle PF documents.
This is clear case of harassment by the company which has led to significant mental torture and financial loss due to money being stuck from a long period of time.
