Dear Sir,

I am not having any Credit Cards and was having only one Cash Card Earlier that was of GE Money. I have already Cleared the Payment and closed the Card.

Today I have got a call from an Executive saying that she is from ABN AMRO Credit Cards Dept from[protected] at 2.32 Pm. She is simply threatening with out hearing my words. I clearly told her that I am not holding any Credit Cards. She is telling that she is speaking to righ Person and asking for clearing the amount of Rs. 1.2 Lakhs.

I was shocked and surprised and tried to explain her that I am not the Person and may have called wrongly instead of calling other person. she is not at all listening to me and she is threatening like any thing.

Please advise me in this Regard.

    I had an Credit Card Account with Abn Amro Bank. I lost my card & requested bank to block my card on Phone & Haus Khas Branch, Due to in sufficient information about my card they rejected to block it.
    I tried a lot to find my credit card details but not be able to due to house shifting. After some time bank start calling me to pay outstanding amount. I went to (Bhara Khamba Branch CP Delhi) to meet the manger for the issue, that time we had some hard conversation & he locked me into the conference room with one of his executive, who forcing me to pay the amount & manager said I will not leave you till the time you are not making payment. When I tried to called police & they took my phone over. After some time they purpose me to have settlement on the amount & asked me to pay 2700 RS.
    I gave them the amount but they didn’t gave the settlement letter. Manager said that Settlement letter will come from our HQ Mumbai directly to you resi address. I tried a lot & follow-up with manger to have the settlement letter but no response from them. This instance happened in Jan-2007.

    ABN bank stopped contacted me by Phone/ SMS or Monthly statement at home. I assume that it has been settled but again I start receiving call from RBS collection staff. They used very abuse language & harsh me by calling every day.
    I was trying to get in touch with ABC management & came to know that it has been take over by RBS. I was trying to contact RBS management but no response. I called Customer forum & found few contact numbers for the bank & got one email id to contact bank of such issues. I sent mail about the instance but after long time no proper solution from bank on the incidence.

      I am Banoj Tripathy, I was having a Credit Card of ABN Amro Bank. Card Number : [protected]. I was using this credit card and I use to make all the payment to bank without a single complain before.

      In May 2009, One of a Customer Care executive of ABN Amro Bank called to my mobile and saying I am a good customer of ABN Amro and they are providing a good offer called "Supereme Plus Offer"to me, where I can get 30% discount from their registered shop. I told to that executive to give some of customers name and phone number and address of that Shop Owner to get the feedback about this offer. She said OK but did not provide and charged from my Credit Card Rs. 5000/-

      I told to ABN Amro executive to deduct this amount as I am not interested on that service and they have not provide any document or information to use that service. I use to complain to ABN Amro so many time and their executive were telling same amount will be deduct in the next Bill. I was paying the Billing amount but they did not deduct that amount and add lots of Late fees and Service tax etc for that amount. I have also visit to so many Branches and talk with their payment collection agencies.

      In the Month of January 2010 when I complain again, I got a Letter Printed copy from ABN Amro bank Letter Head that Rs. 5000/- which they had charged will be deduct with all the late fees and charges. But they did not deduct that amount. I have that Letter in my hand now.

      Finally they deduct Rs. 5000/- in the Month of March 2010, But did not deduct the late charges and service charges and Taxes which comes due to that transactions. ABN Amro Bank has put my name in CIBIL.

      I am ready to explain the issue there is nothing any where my fault, Bank has charge me Rs. 5000/- without any reason ad service and after one year they deduct same Rs. 5000/- the principle amount and left all the late charges.

      When I have applied for a Home Load I got to know that my name in in CIBIL database. Please help me to remove my name from CBIL record.

      ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Wrong bill

      Sir,
      I ABN AMRO Bank credit Card customer Card No. [protected]. Your bank sends an offer (MMT Money Saver) without my permission. I not received this offer. But send me this offer bill dated 03/11/09 Rs. 5544.19. I request by phone revised my bill your bank customer care officer say revised my bill within 7 day complain no. [protected]. But next Month again send bill. I again call to customer care and lounges complain and complain no. [protected]. And this time your recovery agents call me and pressurized me to payment and misbehave me.

      The customer card keeps calling me for offers and that information what they say does not matches the statement.



      For example they said that there is some holiday offer and if I want to avail the same then I can go to any of the abn amro bank and pay the amount and the offer will get activated but when I get my creadit card statement I see that my card is already charged for the same for 4961.72 Rs.



      Would request you to please credit the same as I do not want the offer as I have already avail this offer in the past. I told the agent the same and he said that the past offer will be refunded and I have to only pay for the new one which did not happen as always promised by the customer care agent.



      Please credit the money back in my account.

        Some time back I used ABN credit card and have taken loan on card,after 3 to 4 months I want to preclsoe the loan acct one day I called customer care executive and asked them if I want to close the loan acct what is the total amount to pay from my end.They calculated and said some amount and next day I droped the cheque with the said amount in 2006.
        Very recent days I applied for loan from other bank I surprised by knowing that my credit score is poor beacase of the pre closer of the ABN loan.ABN people closed that acct as WRITE-OFF acct.

        And they said because this poor credit score I can not get loan.

        I don't know what to do.

        Please guide me what I can do?

        WRITE-OFF Issue
        In 2004-05, I had an ABNAMRO Credit Card, which was renewed, without my consent, and renewal fee of Rs.250/- was debited, which I refuded to pay. That amount was increased to more than Rs.7000/- and was written off, resulting of my name in CIBIL, which has spoiled my reputation.

              I Mrs. Prachi P. Bamugade was holding ABN Amro Credit Card ([protected]) in 2008. Said card has been expired and i was not renewed that credit card. This is regarding the call from customer care for the recovery of payment. I am getting threatening & abusive calls from customer care for ABN Amro Credit Card payment. When further inquired about the balance payment details & requested for the final pending statement ABN Bank executive is denying providing the disputed statement, also every time they are changing disputed amount. Please note I never denied the payment (if any) As per my record there is no outstanding payment, but still the customer care person named as Arjun Kumar harassing me by calling on my Office No. as well as on my mobile no. Every alternate day he keep on calling for 50-60 time a day.

              This call was from Delhi at around 12:30 pm since 24th Sept 2010. So I requests you to see in this matter & I expect no more such calls from yourside.

                I, Simple Kapoor has Already made payment of all purchases done from credit card : Card no.-[protected]. Im Still recieving calls from credit card recovery division. Without any intimation they have send an Insurance policy and besides my follow up for not taking the policy they were charging different financial charges. They are mentally harassing me. As I have not purchased anything using there card Why shall I pay a single penny to them. My last payment was Rs 16758.
                The recovery associates of bank are not only torturing me but also my family members.
                Now I dont have any other way except to ask for help from your side.
                I want to resolve this issue and dont want any calls in future from Abn Amro Recovery deppt. Please help me....

                    Sir, I have an RBS Credit card ( Formally known as ABNAMBRO). My due date for payment falls on 22th of every month. So last month I made my payment on 19th to one of their drop box situated at ganpati plaza jaipur , There was a delay from this collection agency to forward my cheque to the bank so the money was debited to my account next month. Now I found that the bank has levied a late fee of Rs650/- in my next statement. I would be highly obliged if you could pl look into this matter and advice me

                    Its your fault. You must make sure that your cheque is cleared/deposited/collected into the bank for payment of O/s within 2-3 days. you should ask your bank after due date (4-7 days) whether they received the O/s amount?

                    I am sure they must have called you after due date that they haven't received the payment. But your busy spending with your credit card.

                    Always try to pay through online else through cheque. If possible pay through Cash which will reflect immediately. But i never suggest for cash payments . Use card/cheque/online

                      It is understood that someone has misused my identity and documents to get the ABN Amro credit card and commited a fraud. I have never applied for any credit card from ABN Amro in my life time, never received it and of course there is no question o[censored]sing or misusing it. Today I got a phone call ( +[protected] from some one named Ajay saying that he is calling from ABN Amro credit card division, fatima nagar Pune and that I need to meet him for doing certain settlement for the amount of Rs. 95,000. He also gave me a card no.[protected] on which this fraud has happened. My name and permanent address in Ahmedabad matches but my Pune residence address and company's address does not match. I have never received any statement / notices or any written document from your office on basis for me to lodge an FIR and do the needful to uncover this fraud from my end as good citizen.

                      My ABN Amro Card is misued by some on the net, and i have informed the same ot the bank within 48 hrs of the fraud, but now bank recovery department is fourcing me to pay the money and they are giving repeatative call for recovery.

                        I had opted a credit card from ABN Amro Bank in Pune, I had paid my dues to the bank. Bank is now chasing me for outstanding, which does not exist. I am getting the calls for paying it back. I have forwarded various communication to the bank, but they do not check the account in detail. Please advise that how should I handle the situation.                         About the bank - The bank does not get in to the details of the case & they only prefer to irritate the customer.

                        Forum - Neutral at this stage.
                        All credit card agencies are the same.
                        Facing same issue... I mailed many of them..
                        I first mailed :Cardservices
                        then : Headcardservices
                        then Nodal officer (Miss Joshi)

                        I recieved call asking to make payment and it would be settlement.
                        I made payment i was informed that i would recieve soft copy by mail and hard copy by courier.

                        I called the PUNE team after that they use to conference me with delhi and i used get answer that i recieve it soon..
                        After this happened for 3 months.
                        One fine day i was informed no settlement is done.


                        And after that i mailed the ABN team, but i never recieved any mail from NODAL OFFICER JOSHI

                          I was issued a ABN AMRO "Freedom card" . At the time was told that it was free card for life (no annual fee/usage fee).

                          I surrendered the card some time in[protected] with a NIL Outstanding).

                          I have now started receving calls from Royal Bank of Scotland Manager / agent by the name Awtar Sharma who claims to be reporting to one vikas Aggarwal and working at the 15, hANSALAYA, Barakhamba Road office at Delhi.

                          Intitially the calls were made to my mobile number. When I asked for details of the dues, I was told that they would send the same shortly.

                          Despite various calls received I kept insisting that I had settled all my dues and to know the details of the charges incurred by me to enable me to pay.

                          Finally the called stated that the dues were a mere Rs600/- towards annual fee that has accured interest and over due interest. I told him that this was absurd since I had cancelled my card with no dues almost a couple of years back.


                          The person calling became abusive and threatened me to make payment without making any enquiry or asking too many questions or else face dire consequences.

                          The said awtar sharma has now started calling at my office number and hurls abuses at me when I am in a meeting or at work.He refuses to provide me contact details or mobile number of any bank manager whom I could speak with.


                          Despite various mails to the bank no senior employee of the Royal Bank of Scotland is yet to respond or provide me details or take action against the said awtar sharma.


                          I have file a complaint with the Delhi Police and hope to see some action taken on the matter.

                          I am an Advocate of Ho'nble High Court, Calcutta.I am holding an account in your bank at Salt lake and have made investments therein and I have always associated your bank as one of class and high standard.
                          I am holding a credit card of your bank bearing the number under reference. Last month I made some transactions from the said card but did not receive any statement from your Bank.
                          That on 18th of July, 2008 I got a call from the number [protected] wherein a person, most likely a collection agent gave me a call .He started off in an extremely rough way asking as to why the bills were not paid. I informed him that the statement has not reached me and further requested him to sent an executive at my place with the statement of Account and that I shall clear the dues by issuing a cheque.
                          Accordingly an individual came at my residence the next day i.e on 19th July, 2008 for collection of the dues but he was without any Statement of account. He informed me that he was yet to receive the statement of account and that he shall come on the next day i.e on 20th July with the same .
                          On 20th July, 2008, another call came from the said number being [protected] at 12.27 pm which was attended by my wife. The person on the other end used abusive and insulting language, which only a person of his standards and taste could have used. I was shocked, and felt extremely humiliated when the same was informed to me that when I had specifically had asked the individual to come to my residence on the same day to collect the payment, In spite of that how this call could have been made to me and what occasion had arisen to have talked to my wife in such a fashion which is bad both in law and in taste. For your records, let me inform you that this is not the way/manner that a demand of dues can be made and this act of yours is not permissible under any law. This illegal act amounts to harassment, insult and deficiency of service.

                          I am hereby calling upon you to look into the matter and take appropriate steps against the person who made the call and inform me of the same regarding the steps that are being taken from your end or at all.
                          I am also requesting you to kindly provide me with the name of the individual who called at my number after going through the concerned records so that I can take appropriate steps against him in accordance with law.

                          I have been getting abusive calls from Tel. No. [protected] from some one claiming to be a representative of ABN AMRO Bank (now renamed as RBS Bank)and asking me to furnish Contact Details of one Mr. Rajesh Gupta who works in my organisation.

                          This abusive caller claims that this person has some Loan Outstanding with RBS.

                          I do not furnish details to unknown person & hence did not provide any detail but the Representative had been repeatedly calling me up leading to Arguements & Fights with me on phone,

                          I had also called Police Help Line No. 100 and taken this person on Con-Call on 30th September at 2.47 pm and again called up at 2.50pm without the representative on con-call and informed the matter.

                          I want that strict Action should be taken on such Agencies who trouble Innocent people who have nothing to do with any Defaulter.

                          Also, such Banks should be penalised for such conduct & unscrulpous means to harass Citizens.

                            I had a salary account {ACCOUNT NO:1401031} in ABN AMRO BANK, Noida,UP. I had left the job from the company in oct,2009, since then my salary has not been credited in my account. My cousin [Ashish Kumar] has transferred 10,000/- INR in my account from HDFC Bank through netbanking on 5th Aug,2010. Bank personnel has debited approx INR, 2700/- from my account without intimating to the consumer/me. I had asked for the clarification to customer care but Neither they are not giving the sufficient information on the basis of deduction nor justifying the account status whether it's saving or current or salary. As per my understanding, My account has been converted to Saving account after three months since salary had not been credited since Nov,2009. I have also an doubt that they are not following the guidelines issued by RBI for consumer/customer. I request you to please intervene into the matter & ask ABN AMRO Bank to credit the debited amount at earliest.

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              I was holding the ABN Amro Bank Credit Card, I had closed the card and broke in two pieces and have also made the payment of the outstanding in 2007, now I am getting calls and people are cming to my house to ask for outstanding which is not logical. I have already mentioned this to the ABN Amro Helpdesk but still same problem.

                              I need help with this issue as soon as possible.

                              I am P.Manjula. My husband's name is S.M.P.John. One of my relative has taken ABN Amro Bank credit card of in my husband's name and used the card without our knowledge to the extent of Rs.3 L (approx). and defaulted.

                              We came to know about it when ABN Amro recovery agents approached my husband in the month of May 2009. Till then we did not know about the existance of the said card. After enquiry into the matter like where the card was delivered and who has received the card, only then we came to know that the above relative was involved.

                              We then met the ABN Amro recovery agents along with the relative who has used the card and given a letter to ABN Amro saying that we are nowhere concerned with the above card and the person who has used it will make the payment. In the same letter ABN Amro recovery agents took the undertaking from my relative that my relative will settle the payment.

                              Inspite of the above, ABN Amro recovery agents are continuously harrasing my husband for the last one year for settlement of this payment as my relative is not making the payment. We are from lower middle class people who depend only on the salary for existance, we are unable to face this problem. Due to this problem my husband is not only suffering from mental torture and harrasment from ABN Amro recovery agents but also he is facing the risk of losing his job as they are continuously calling up office and visiting his office.

                              Sir, i humbly request you to kindly help us in this matter immediately as they have given deadline to settle this matter within one week.

                              I shall be very grateful immediate response.

                              3 lakhs ??? and you never knew ??? noways stop lying . abn amro credit limits are not more than 60 70 thousand on the average if your card's limit was 3 lakhs then you must be big shot and it is sure that on the 1st lakh's default they must have informed your husband - i know this industry too well.

                              so you guys wanted to play game with card company now face the game of the card company ;)

                                i given these comments because no banks has the telephonic system to offer credit cards please requested to banks who are offering credit cards please contact me on [protected] thanks dont ignore for casual dustbin .

                                but why do you need a credit card ? same things can be done using a debit card - banks normally offer credit cards to people who they feel have good credit - if for any reason you need a credit card you can get it against some fixed deposit - go to icici bank and ask for a credit card which is offered against some deposits.

                                This should solve your problem
                                i looking a credit card as soon as because i want to apply for personal loan so if i have credit card so i can get loan soon, i must need as soon as possible my comanpany is not listed but which i am working that comanany sister of concern comapany. so that is main problme for me i have wedding of my brother and i looking 2, 00, 000 lakhs loan if possible then please let me know

                                  This is with reference to my personal loan taken from ABN AMRO during 2006-07 amounting Rs.30,000/- which was settled by me outright with payment of Rs.38,670/- . It been approx 5 yrs now & since the amount was settled , the settlement paper was misplaced by me during transit. Now after so many years, i am getting calls from collections dept who are making rounds of my house asking me to settle the amount of Rs.54,000/- which they say is due????
                                  Now since do not have any proof to prove them wrong, i am unable to answer their queries. This is giving me & my family real mental torture & pain causing me trauma.
                                  is ABN AMRO so filthy a bank that they cannot retain their own payment track records.?????
                                  Please help
                                  Ask for the complete statement of account since the loan was opened.
                                  check for the payment which was made by you.
                                  if that payment is showing up there - ask them to go to hell - write a mail to banks ombudsmen and rbi
                                  to me its seems that abn amro is in the process of winding up operations in india

                                    After sending a mail to you again the are giving torture today morning at 07.40am (24/6/2010) i received a call from this number[protected],if your call disturb again I will give information to press and other concerned person.

                                    When I have no contacts with your bank ,and I have informed to phone people not to make call they note down the message and inform to proper person.

                                    So take strict action against your call centre people and remove the phone number.

                                    I hope you will matter very serious.

                                    ABN AMRO — Mental Torture

                                    My name is Karthick, Im using my mobile# for the past 6 years. For last 1 month I keep getting calls for the different unknow numbers and asking for Mr. Santhosh. I replied to them its a wrongly#.

                                    Today I got a call from the[protected] and the guy asked me for Santhosh to repay the loan. I said its a wrong number but this guy didnt listen me and talk me so rude.

                                    I advised him not the right person but he did not bothered my words.

                                    I gave him my Company details and my resident but then too he didnt belivecalled me.. called me and disturbed a lot in a meaningless words.

                                    I dont remember this guys name but this I have him phone#[protected] call time is 10:36AM date 11/08/2011. I wanted you to take necessary action on this guys for speaking in painful words.


                                    The other phone#s received from a female rep are[protected] &[protected].
