This is regarding the fraud transactions happened using my ABN AMRO credit card on 17th Aug 09. I already raised the dispute with complaint No.[protected], and also sent a letter as suggested by ABN AMRO customer care. But I am still suffering with ABN AMRO Bank card till date. ABN AMRO Customer care is telling that since Rs. 3706 transaction is not resolved in my favour, so I need to pay for the fraud transaction, for which I am not responsible.

Seeking help to check the unfair practice of ABN AMRO Bank.

ABN AMRO — Abn Amro Fraud

Hi i am ali from bangalore i was looking for personal loan a guy called me from abn amro his name is Kumar phone number [protected]. i did not had address proff as i moved my house recently he asked me to pay 5000 rupees as he will make a address proff for me with an tata indicom connection i gave him and now he is just bullying around me, . this is a serious problem i gave him money because i was showed abn amro bank details. can some one get hold of this guy because my circumtances are very bad i am in a very bad financial status and this fruad is very bad i am completly broke now please can some one help to get my money back please email me.

ABN AMRO Credit Card — Fraud Transaction

Dear Sir,

I had Credit Card of ABN Amro. I had buy 2 medicine from online payment worth 400/- on 16-Oct-09 but after some days on 2-Nov-09 2 transaction worth Rs. 5971.41 (Total Rs. 11942.82) had done on my account . I quickly phone on customer care for that transaction and they block my card....But after submitted despute form still they asking for that money....and i received daily 2-3 calls for that...i cannot understand what to do.???

Please guide me...

ABN AMRO — Credit card Fraud

Dear Sir
I was holding a credit card long in 2005-06 with ABN AMRO.
My all payments are always on time and no pending payments against my purchases.

I cannot remember the card no exactly but may the no is [protected].

But few weeks earlier a got a call from Royal Bank of Scotlands that they have taken over from ABN AMRO and I have Rs 2000/- pending with them.

They have used ugly words with no ethics and threatened for no reasons.

I have no amount pending with any credit card till date..

It is really frustrating for me to get calls from them for the no reasonss.

Kindly help me out of the situation.

    To ABN Amro Credit Card

    I had used a ABN Amro credit card for one month in 2005. I was told by a representative of the company that the card would be free and no yearly or monthly charges would apply. This is the reason I took the card. The very first statement there were charges of Rs.500 so I paid my dues and did not pay the Rs. 500 which I was promised would not be levied and destroyed the card. Now I receive numerous phone calls from your company talking rudely and wasting my time. Please look into this matter urgently so that this can stop.

      Respected Sir,
      My name is Amit Pandey having ABN AMRO BANK's credit card number - [protected] & [protected].i am being regularly harrassed by collection executives & caller's from NOIDA since October 09.Callers from NOIDA were PRAMOD - [protected], [protected], AKHIL-[protected], RAJ-[protected], [protected], [protected], their landline nos'[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] & [protected]. Yesterday dated November, 21, 2009 they have been warned to kill me by their mobile phones because he told he cant abuse on recorded landline. The mobile no. was [protected] from which they warned me.

      Due to my car accident was happend on 29th October, 2009 in mumbai i am having financial problems so i was asking to not call me again and again. if i spoke with a person then within 2 minutes another person calls me. They were only interested in collecting my minimum due for which they used abusive langauge and warned me to come at my house and kill me, bad words in hindi etc.
      They used very rubbish language. They send their executive named Rakesh twice at my place.. Also they abused my relatives on their landline, i dont know how they got their number.

      Finally i will not pay to these people or their executive. When i will get fund i shall directly make the payment into Abn amro branch in mumbai.

      I have complaint this to banks costumer care. If anyany things happens to me these people would be responsible for the same. And bank can check my records, i have alway made my payment before my accident. I dont want any executive at my place and neither i will pay to them. i will pay to the bank. Any possitve support would be appreciated. If any person is recovering from huge injury by an accident, how can he afford these harrassment and pay their minimum dues and speak whole day with them 1 by 1. thanks....

        We have been harassed for the third time by a a MNC bank taking your name. This time we are being harassed by ABN Amro where they charged us for membership and some other debit which had nothing to do with us. We gave them calls and the amount was reversed but again we are charged for late payment. We have all the proofs with us. When there was no late pament or I must say there was no payments due to them then why are being charged late payment. If there is a fault with their system then they should not harasse us by sending the bills and sending SMS taking your name.

        Are you people so powerful that you are bent upon disgracing the citizens of India to protect the high headed behaviour of MNC banks.

        We had asked for the cancillation of the card and correction of our account. For this we were given request nos as [protected] and [protected]. Can't the bank refer to its own reference numbers before challenging us by taking your name and RBI's name.

        They should not threaten us using the names of these organization as we have not done any thing wrong. If they are them there must be something wrong with the policies of the two institutions.

        We were earlier harassed by Barklays and GE Money the same way when Canara Bank was on strike and they had announced in advence that the worker strike will make bank non operational. Yet these banks went in for EMI clearance. We had money in the bank but we were served notice and threatening calls from the banks that our credit rating will be spoiled as they have informed CIBIL and RBI.

        We are sending the scaned copies of our ABN Amro bills which gives away the story.

        Yes we will like to know what problems they have created in out rating through the institutions like CIBIL and RBI.

        ABN AMRO Credit Card — I am been Harrased

        Hello Sir,

        I am a senior citizen of age 61 and I am a retired person and I am been harassed by ABN AMRO CREDIT CARD. and I kept on saying that I am a jobless person and I want be able to continue to pay dues. As I need a settlement of minimum which I can pay on the my capabilities. As they are not considering my or grant my applications on this and they have thread me regarding this that will come to my home and they can do anything with me to recover the money.

        As per recessions time my son has also lost his job and he is unable to help me out at this state of time. As he was paying this payment on time. But he need some more time to clear to get his job.
        Kindly look after the matter as it is been headache to me and as I am already a heart patients. And hospitalize few month back.

        Therefore, looking forward to hear some help from your end. Looking forward for your mail.

        ABN AMRO is the worst bank on this. I have been a customer for over 8 years and made regular payments for 6 years o[censored]p to 1 lac a month but their statements started coming late in late 2007 after which they started levying huge finance charges... i have made all the payments due for my purchases but they are pestering me with calls repeatedly on payment of finance charges... this bank shd be thrown out of the country...

          My Credit Card No.[protected]. I have taken a health policy through you from Reliance Insurance for which I had to pay Rs.14675/- as one time premium, which I have paid through my credit card and I have cleared the Credit Card liability of Rs.14675/- by way of Demand Draft drawn in your favour during first week of November 2009. Whereas, I have received an SMS message to my mobile asking me to pay Rs.13262.34 befire 03 12 2009. As there is no due on my card, why the message has been sent to me. Please check your records and send reply to my e-mail address or message to my mobile no.[protected].

          Please treat the matter as MOST URGENT.

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            we common peoples are using card to avoid carring cash but while using this ABNAMRO bank credit card I have been facing everytime some problems in terms of extra charges.This time due to festival sessions the uses of card was more while receiving my statements of card number [protected] dt 7/10/09 I found inspite of making total payment timely of previous month within due date but amount shown credited in my account in late and charged late fee 650/- and finance charge 942.35 and service tax 164.01 leveled in my card.While I made complain to head in card service but it was not deducted from my statements rather I am getting calls for payments reminders.
            Under this cercumstances 1)I do not want to give late fee when I made payment timely.
            2)I have 9522 closing points by using this bank which need to settle & I do not want to continue this bank card further more.

              Dear Sir,

              I , SRINIVASA RAO GORIPARTHI have taken Credit card from ABN Amro Bank in the year of 2006.

              My first purchase through the above credit card was on 19-09-06 for Rs.6949 & 3051
              thereafter on 26-09-06 for Rs.3389 & 3000 total amount of Rs.16,389/- which was due
              on[protected]total due as per statement was Rs.16959/- which includes emi of cash
              less health card of Rs.228, over limit charges of Rs.300 and s tax Rs.42.64).

              I have made payment for the above statement on 23-10-06 of Rs.17000/- and with
              immediate effect i have informed to Bank people about cancellation of cash less
              health card. As per telephonic conversation had with bank people they have
              given one reference no and informed me to return the card to ICICI Lambord, Mumbai.
              Later on i have checked in website of Ttkhealthcareservices.com about cancellation.
              As per the Cancellation certificate issued by the TTKHEALTHCARESERVICES the policy has cancelled on[protected].

              Later on i have observed in future statements showing still emi for cashless health card.
              I have shocked and immediately informed to bank customer care centre. After that i have
              made one more purchase of Rs.1000/- on 11-11-06 which was due on 23-12-06. I have
              not made any payment on 23-12-06 due to above problem (still showing emi's in statements).
              One fine day bank customer care people called me and asked about payment against the
              purchase amount of Rs.1000/-. I have told clearly to bank people first credit the wrong debits
              of emi's from Nov '06 statement then only i will pay the due amount. Based on customer care executive words he told me to pay Rs.1150 immediately to full and final settlement.
              I have made the payment of Rs.1150 on 23-02-06.

              After the above payment also i have received statements with emi's. Then i have
              desided to not use the credit card. Later on bank people harrassed me freequently
              about the payments. I have told clearly bank people this is not fare, i should not go to
              make any payments. For 7 months i have not received any calls but on 23-07-08 about
              payment of Rs.9000/-. (Total Outstanding)

              On 24th i have one mail from bank as below

              Thereafter as per telephonic talks i have decided to pay an amount of Rs.4,000/- against full and final settlement. I have received on settlement letter from bank which was duly attached. The settlement was done on 13th September 2008. But still i have not received no due certificate from bank and due amount not cancelled from CIBIL records ( Name from defaulters list ).

              Recently i have send several mails but the position was the same.

              Dear Sir / Madam

              With reference No.HY[protected] which is Settlement letter issued by you for full and final settlement of Card No.[protected]. I have paid an amount of Rs.4000/- on 13th September 2008 for full settlement. I have received Hard Copy for settlement after the above payment.

              Recently when i tried for Housing loan the CBIL reports showing the due of the above card.
              When i paid all the dues of the card why are you showing dues against the above card and why are you not informed about the settlement to the CBIL. This is not fair. I am very much irritated about this matter.

              From beginning it self your bank people were harraced me allot. I am also not using above card and it was allready expired September 2008. Since one year there was no call about dues pending with card. Only with your negligency i am struglling now to getting benefits from other banks.

              I am herewith attaching settlement letter which i have allreday received.

              So, kindly look into the above matter and issue the no due certificate and inform about dues to the CBIL.

              ABN AMRO — Non Working Status of ABN AMRO

              Dear Sir,
              This is with reference to the malfunction of ATM machine of AMN AMRO for the first working day of the month at Capital City
              New Delhi.
              Its embrassing and shameful for the infamous banking organisation for delaying the work giving the most baseless excuse of Software implementation.
              It has been already 3 hours, I'm unable to withdraw my salary.
              And unfortunately i'm unable to do transaction from Different Mastercard ATMs.
              No formal message was issued to the consumers, although the Customer care Executive of ABN AMRO states that it's month closing.
              NB: If there is S/W updations then it is the responsibility of the Bank authority to issue the notice.
              It is the most irresponsible and ethical Practise in Banking sector.

              ABN AMRO Credit Card — After cancellation still getting messages of due payment

              Hi,
              I'm very much dissappointed with the communication system for the cancellation of Credit card in ABN AMRO, I have no option other than cancellation on phone,even after clearing all dues and after cancellation, I still recieve the messages of due payment.
              ABN AMRO Credit Card :- any way to sue on the bank for mental harshment. i paid entire loan amonut before time and they are saying that still some amount is pending to pay. unka paisa, paisa aur humara paisa kuda.

              ABN AMRO Credit Card — No Dues Certificate required

              I was using ABN Amro bank credit card([protected]). Whis I have closed long time back. After receiving a settelement letter from the bank I have made the payment in cash, But till date I have not received the no dues certificate. Please help

              Actually I hold one ABN AMRO bank account in 2006 through this they give me credit card, but I never use this card for any transactions, In 2008 I checked with online credit card customer service they said it closed,
              Because I never used this card for any transactions they said it closed. But now I applied for new bank loan they are saying your name in www.cibil.com, My expectation this is due to your credit card,
              Due to your credit card I am facing lot of problems, what is process and who is contact person to help on this issues,
              Your online service is not clear to answer these kinds of issues,
              Right now I don’t have any information about this credit card,

                  Respected Authority,

                  I onw an ABN Amro credit card, haven't shopped for more than 6months.
                  The first ever bill that I was supposed to receive, was sent late by them. But, I had proactively enquired about my bill, and tried to submit it even before I received the statement copy. [This was in February'09].
                  But, somehow, the cheque reached the ABN Amro account later than my due date. So, the levied me late payment fee. This late payment fee statement also reached me late [Mar'09].
                  Still, I genuinely paid them the late fee.
                  However, since I had already crossed my late payment feee, they sent me yet another statement saying "Payment due immediately". I have paid a late payment fee for the second time.

                  Had I intended not to pay my dues on time, I wouldnt be bothered to pay my late payment fee twice!
                  I have sent them multiple requests to wind up all my dues, but all on deaf ears.
                  I'm presently residing out of India, and, have specified my father's mobile number for reference.
                  They still keep harassing my father by sending late payment notifications.

                  I need an intervention from Consumer forum. Please help.

                  ABN AMRO Bank — Easy Cash Account Late payment charges, Credit

                  This is to inform you that My credit account settlement done in the month of Aug, 07 Rs.7200/- in three instalment.
                  All instalment has been paid, but till now you have n't conformation for steelement, calls for payment[protected] why

                  We have sent a loan Rs. 40000/ without my intimation - after that i accepted that loan & credited on 30.11.06 FOR 24 INSTALMENT

                  Every month i have paid my instalemt of with in due date . 14th instalment paid, but they have charges Rs.600/- pm total Rs. 7200/- ( Seven thousand two hundred only) approx, several intimation given to them no action taken from their site.

                  ABN AMRO Bank — Charging of Yearly Fees even if I requested to cancel the card

                  In March 2008, I recd. a credit card bill for my ABN AMRO credit card for renewal charges. I have been told that the card was free for life and no renewal fees will be applicable. Even then they sent me the bill. On receiving their phone call, I told them to close the credit card and I am not ready to pay the bill. There were no outstandings on my credit card before the bill.

                  After that, I did not get any bill or response from them and again in June I got their bill with the renewal charges + late fees.

                  Even after complaining them again and again, they don't seem to hear us and go on sending bills with late fees.

                  Can somebody help in this matter or should we take law in our hands when their person comes to us?

                  ABN AMRO Bank — Charging Extra Late Payment fee

                  I am having an Easy Cash Loan of No [protected] from ABN AMRO BANK. I had a discussion with ABN representative and as per him there are no any Late Payment Charges to my above mentioned account. But still I have a disbelief that there are some late payment charges after paying all EMI within due date.
                  After that I had one more discussion with Customer care and there are almost RS.8000 late payment charges which has charged from the begining after doing a payment in time. I would suggest to go through attached mail very deeply.

                  Apart from this I having lots of Credit cards and two loans but there is no any late payment charges from any of them.

                  I hope your intervetion will be definately useful.

                  ABN Amro Bank/Credit Card — Credit Card Payments

                  Sir,

                  I had made a transaction from ABN Amro Credit In 2006 of Rs 25000 single transaction, Before using this I acknowledge to customer about that for EMI process, He/She told me that your Amount is EMI for 24 month is Rs 1212, (plus Rs 100 processing fee only first time). Nothing extra after this. Your EMI is Only Rs 1212, for 24 months. I confirmed about this two time from bank customer care.

                  But when I made a purchasing, My statement show extra amount. I made a complaint for this he/she said to me, these are hidden charges, those our representative ignore to told about to you.

                  They had not reverse extra amount billed in my statement every monts. Then I deceide to pay only your EMI Rs 1213 nothing else to you.

                  My EMI closed, But bank said to me you have Rs 12000 outstanding.

                  I am using Credit card of ABN Amro Bank since last three years and I had never paid late neither defaulter but the bank has wrongly charged late fee charges of Rs.650/- and Finance charges on Balance transfer on statement dated 17.11.09.                     ABN AMRO Credit Card — Cheating case

                    I am Nikhil Desai and was a credit card holder of ABN AMRO bank, with the number [protected]. I had swiped the card in the month of April '07 for gold purchases worth 45000/- and then made a payment of 15000/- towards the outstanding. The remaining amount was converted to an EMI. My first EMI bounced, a lady called up an gave me an option to pay the EMI or pay the entire outstanding amount. I said i will pay the entire amount, and a guy from Roan Enterprises came to my place and collected the amount of 30447/-. I was never once told that
                    i will have to send a letter to ABN AMRO to close the EMIs.

                    Today ( 08.10.08 )i got a call from Simmy Rai from the consumer risk department ( ph no: [protected] )and asked about the outstanding 16270/- on the card. When i told her that i have already paid the amount and i also have all the receipts for payments made, she said that she will remove my name from CBIL, if i make a payment of 16270/- at the ABN AMRO
                    mumbai branch and she will send me a DD for 16270/- to my place by Blue Dart Courier. I went to the Juhu branch of ABN AMRO and made the payment, transaction number, SAB140664. Now she is says that she will not refund the amount to the me as i didnt sent a letter to close the EMIs.

                    I WAS NEVER TOLD BY ANYONE TO SEND A LETTER TO CLOSE MY EMIs, so how am i supposed to know that. ABN AMRO executive never mentioned that if i foreclose the installments, i will need to send a letter. Also the collection agent didnt mention anything. I need the refund of my amount paid 16270/- towards ABN AMRO. I have all the receipts of payments made towards ABN AMRO. also i am thinking of taking legal course of action as Simmy Rai, employee code A84, also deceived me into paying something that i have already paid

After writing tough to ABM AMRO card services, nodal officer & Mr. Singhal, ABN AMRO finally replied that the entire amount is being reversed & they will issue me the certificate of No dues accordingly. So far I have not heard anything from them. I am waiting till Monday evening i.e. by 29th Mar'10 7 PM after which I will file the case with Consumer forum & inform Media as well.

However, as per the CIBIL report, I found that my name has not been deleted yet. As per the guidlines of RBI, whoever has paid the outstanding amount in full or through compromise deal must not appear in the CIBIL record. I came to know the fact only i approached a bank for loan and my request has been terned down due the CIBIL's negative report.

                      May I please know when will you be clearing my name from CIBIL?

                        Here is the summary of the problem that I have been having with ABN Amro.

                        I bought MF (portfolio having folio number 5013268/46 - ING OPTIMIX
                        ASSET ALLOCATOR MULTI MANAGER FOF SCHEME - DIVI) through ABN
                        Representative for Headstrong.
                        I sold this MF on May 4, 2009.
                        I filed a complaint on June 01, 2009 as redemption amount not received.
                        Complaint #R[protected], R[protected], R[protected] (Do
                        you know why you issued three reference numbers for the same issue?
                        You need to re-think on How you operate Customer support system. May
                        be you need to consult some IT Professional to take a look at your
                        support system).
                        Dialog (email + phone) with Customer support went on for more than two
                        months with no sign of problem resolution from ABN Amro side.
                        While interacting with Customer Support, I realized that the Support
                        Executives hardly take things seriously, do not carefully listen to
                        customer's problem, lacks attention to details resulting to questions
                        on trying to understand problem again & again and most importantly
                        lack of will to address the issue to the resolution.
                        Its now more than THREE months and I still did not receive my money.

                        So I am escalating the issue through this email and if this escalation
                        does not solve the problem then I will have no choice to knock the
                        doors of Consumer Court and Notify the media (Internet/TV/Print) on
                        "How ABN Amro services its corporate customers?"

                          I am holding abn amro bank credit card (titanium) for last 3-4 years. Last year in Month of Oct. they have charged me 4500/- against some hanky panky previledge card offer. I would like to insist that they have debited this amt. without my approval for the offer. Recently also they have tried to trap in such type of offer. In very next month i.e. Jan.2009 i contacted the Customer care of ABN Amro for reversal of the amt. debited to my card. They asked me return the voucher (unfilled, because i got them in month of Jan-09) so i returned the voucher which they never acknowledged and never reverse the amt. till date....Till last month i use to pay this or that amt. to them on the hope that they will reverse the amt. Today only I received a call from collection department, the executive used harsh language and insisted for payment. He dare to talk me that i had accepted the offer so the amount can not be reveresed... they regularly use to call me on my home telephone number also for the payments. I have many times requested them that i would like to pay any dues with me but first they reverse the amount debited to me... i am using many other credit cards and have excellent track record with all of them.. i am a reputed business man and want to pay the dues to settle the matter. But ABN AMRO customer care is so worst that they just don't respond to my problem... My card No. is [protected]

                          I have a ABN AMRO ONE credit card no.[protected]. i am very dipress of ABN AMRO service. there is no response on complaint. in last month over limit fee & upgrade fee charged without any intimation on my card. after one month follow up it would be reverse.
                          in this month late fee charge in statement whether i dropped cheque in the bqnk before due date & complaint to customer care for not clear from my account. after two days of my complaint cheque is cleared.
                          Late fee & other charges is the passion of ABN AMRO bank to tourcher the customer.
                          if ABN AMRO bank provide this type service i am unable to survive the card.

                            I am holding an ABN AMRO Bank Credit card and the card no. is [protected]. The limit on my card is Rs.21000/=. Till date I have made payments of around Rs.46000/= but the bank claims that the outstanding is still around Rs.38000/=. Here I would also like to bring to your notice that the card is in an inactive state for more than 2 years but I made payment this month also. I had requested the bank to reverse the charges since I have not used the card for around 2 years and payments have been made by me but the bank has expressed his inability to do so.The card was issued to me by the Lucknow Branch of the Bank.
                            I would request your intervention to please help me in closing this issue at the earliest.

                            ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Double entry of Rs. 10000 in my statement

                            I have abn credit card, my bank statement double entry of cash withdrawel, i already inform to bank for reversal on 15/04/08. I email many times to bank but no posative response

                            ABN AMRO Bank — credit card charges

                            Sir,
                            I had taken Rs 20, 500.00 on my credit card by cheque. In the month of may i have asked customer care that i have to pay all my dues with all charges one time, he/she replied you need to write a letter to our noida branch to preclose your loan account then i will tell you, how much amount you have to pay to clear your all dues. I have done same thing, as per suggestion, written a letter to noida branch. After some days again i asked customer care that how much amount i have to pay to clear my all dues and to close my loan account, he/she replied we have received your letter and you have to pay Rs. 19877.00 to clear your all dues and after that no any due will be on your card. I have confirmed it 3-4 times from that executive, he said yes sir your all due will be clear if you make a payment of Rs. 19877.00. Then i have made payment of same amount as you said on 28th May 2008.Afterthat when i received statement of June 2008 it was showing total due amount Rs. 17856. I have asked customer care that why it is then he said you have not to pay this amount it will be revert in your account and given Ref. No. [protected]. Again in the next month of next month statement it was showing Rs. 230 due then i have asked customer care why you are harassing me, why this amount is charged if i have not made any transaction then she replied it will be revert in your next bill and given reference no. [protected]. Again in this month statement previous due amount is charged with late payment charge. I have again contact customer care then once he replied your loan account could not be closed because your letter was not received in the month of may and letter gone back. Second time executive called me and said Rs 230 is financial charges imposed on you because you have made payment of Rs 1050.00 on 1st may and your due date was 30th April.
                            On 30th April 2008 i had contacted customer care and he said that if you will make cash payment of due amount by tomorrow morning then no any extra charge will be impose on you and so on 1st may morning i have made cash payment . From last two month all executives are giving me different different excuse. My credit card number is [protected].

                            I am unable to process my request for resetting of my password for registration as user for my credit card of ABN AMRO BANK CARD NO. [protected]. i HAVE ATTEMPTED SEVERAL TIMES.

                            ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Charging wrong debits & finance charges from January -2007

                            Dear Sir or Madam:

                            This is the mail which I had written to ABN Amro Bank Credit Card Division for which I am following them for last 2 years.

                            Many thanks for your response; I am very much disappointed with the ABN Amro Bank’s credit card division due to the trailing mail.

                            You had debited an amount of Rs. 6000/- in Jan’07 & there after you have charges late fees & finance charges on the same also which is not pertaining to my credit card account. One more foreign transaction amount to Rs. 1743.19 (EURO 30.00) dated October 16th 2007 have been also wrongly debited to my credit card account beyond my knowledge & not only this, the bank has charged bank charges & finance charges on the same transaction.

                            In Jan’08 (one year later from the date of incorrect transaction) I received a call from Mr. Rahul on behalf of ABN Amro bank that they are agree to reverse Rs. 18000/- against above. I have been following up for the same with Mr. Sumit Rustagi, Mr. Jayant Malhotra & Mr. Rohit Tanwar since April 24, 2007.

                            This is the first time I got reply from your side in written & still the treatment towards an esteemed customer is not satisfactory.

                            You are requested to please reverse all the above transactions along with the charges debited by you on the said transactions.

                            Rs. 5000 /- Un neccesary debited my account against cash less offer and financial charges are more. I disappointed in my november statement actualy i liable to pay of Rs. 200 /- but debited my account of rs 700 /- towards interest and financial charges.

                            ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — HIDDEN CHARGES AND UNUSED CHARGES

                            I had purchased two air ticket (Ms Nilima Shah & Mr Bhavin Patel) in Rs.8950/- from mumbai to ahmedabad by jet airways (10.15 am) on ahmedabad airport thorugh ABNAMRO bank credit card on 19th January'2007 and after 15 minutes I have cancelled the same tickets and purchased a new ticket in same airways(1.15pm), Rs. 5600/- through the same credir card ABNAMRO. I have the both transection slips with me, they said that the refund will be deposited in my credit card statement. Then I got the statement of february'2007 but they were not credit the cancelled amount of tickets but they debit both the transection of purchased tickets. I called to cutemer care service, ABNAMRO bank but they said the will revert back the amount of Rs.8950/- in next statement but still they have not credit the amount of Rs.8950/-. I have called many times to custemer care and visited jet airways office but I never get a proper answer from the ABNAMRO officials. The executives and the ABNAMRO people harresing me alot for the payment in every month which I did not spent. I had tried to convience the ABNAMRO people but they always gave me hope to revert back the amount. Every time they charge me all the hidden charges, finance charges, interest rate, late fees and make the payment around Rs. 40000/-.

                            The ABN AMRO people charged me Rs. 395/- for any medical policy which I have never brought from them. They also charged Rs. 4000/- for their one to one air ticket free scheme which I never agreed but they charged. These all charges are [censored] and un used so I cant pay the charges and all the hidded charges on that particular [censored] charges. I am always ready to pay the amount which I have used but they never agree and they asked me a lot of money for the settlement. I am ready to to make settlement because of I cant able to pay the amount which I never used. They are harresing me in a lot which result so bad in my official work and family also.
                            I Applied for personal loan from Other Banks. I came to know my name is in Civil.
                            I do not understand why I have pending amount from ABN since I am not using this credit Card since last 4 years.My credit card is cancelled and I have paid all my credit Outstandings. ALSO
                            I do nto receive any call from ABN neither I didn't receive any transaction Letter.This is spoiling my credit history since I am unable to avail loan facilities from Any Bank.
                            I came to know i have an outstanding of Rs.5400/-(Approximate). But since I didn't do any transaction

                            Sub.: Mental & Physical Harassment in Adding Unnecessary Charges from your end.

                            I was shock on received of a SMS from your end regarding the bill of Rs. 6401.93 with due dated 10/08/2009. It seems that it has been practice from your end to add by hook or crook any amount to the customer. Let me put some facts for your knowledge.

                            On statement dated 10/06/2009, it was addition of Rs. 2500 as upgrade fee debit dated 30may2009 with service tax incl. education cess of Rs. 257.50. So total amount is Rs. 2757.50. Than on received of your statement, I had call to your customer care department on 18/06/2009 at 7.40 a.m. and talk to Rohan. He had given an assurance that your charges will be reverse.

                            On statement dated 10/07/2009, it was again addition of Rs. 5000 as MMT MONEY SAVER FEE with service tax incl. education cess of Rs. 265.98. So total amount is Rs. 5265.98. Then again on received of your statement, I had call to your customer care department on 28/07/2009 at 10.50 a.m. and talk with shweta. She had given transfer to other department and talk with Jay. The person was not ready to understand the facts that I had not said to any promotion department with using any of the scheme which is liable to pay any charges. After long discuss he told me that I will put the request and given assurance that your charges will be reverse.

                            But it seems that the charges have been not reverse and also been added unnecessary penalty or interest. Many of people had told me that ABN AMRO had a practice of cheating by way of adding unnecessary charges, so I had stop using after 13may2009.

                            So I request you to kindly reverse the charges and want an explanation from your end to stop giving mental harassment.

                            With ref to the above subject & the Account no1575178 in the name of Mr.Hobat Singh Rawat...i have a Debit Card for this particular Account.

                            Unfortunately it got blocked due to put the wrong pass word while lifting Cash. Thus I'm unable to lift the cash through the card.

                            I have already launch the complain on last month for the same but there is no response. As per the Bank, they have sent the said Card through courier, but I hav’t received the same.

                            Therefore it’s my humble request that kindly issue the new Debit Card to me as it’s becoming difficult to have cash through card.

                              Respected Sir,
                              I opened an account with
                              ABN AMRO bank, 1st Inder place, B block, A, Sushant lok , Gurgaon.
                              The account was opened on 01/07/2007
                              My account no (then) was 1349185
                              My customer relationship no. was 1609486
                              This account has been closed now.
                              I needed a statement of account for the periods
                              01/07/2007 to 30/09/2007 and
                              01/05/2008 to closure[protected]for income tax purposes)
                              We would like to mention that we are not asking for a duplicate statement but statements for above periods were never provided (which is against the RBI instructions which makes it mandatory for banks to provide a statement at least once a year)
                              When I asked the call center to guide me through the request they flatly told me that statement for a closed account could not be provided (which is illegal). When we insisted and told them they we legally bound to do so they chose to disconnect the call.
                              When we tried again, we were told to visit the bank’s Head office at Connught place branch (New Delhi) and place a request, which was again quiet agonizing, as the bank's staff seemed to be clueless about handling such requests (in itself this was not legal as these services must be provided via post).
                              We wrote to the banks head office (letter dated 24/07/2009) citing our request (about a month from now) but are yet to receive any reply or even acknowledgment of our request. We hope that this at least fulfils your requirement of having made a formal representation to the bank at least one month prior to contacting you

                              I here by request you to help me out as i need the statements for income tax purposes

                              I here by would also like to bring to your notice the banks reluctance to provide even the legally bound services to ex-customers, perhaps as they no longer have commercial interest in them, to the extent that they do not care to have any procedures in place to handle such requests.

                              We have sent a similar email to the banking ombudsman New Delhi ,Shri H Kulshreshtha via the website

                                Having levied unjustified charges like 'Jet Set Go fee of Rs. 4500 and some over limit usage charge of Rs. 600' on my credit card which was ofcourse not paid after talking to their customer help desk, ABN Amro Bank is now ready to reverse these charges but not the late payment and interest charges on this reversed amount. The mail below is self explanatory. Wish CIBIL takes note of this and penalise these foreign banks who are dishonest and spoiling the banking industry in India.

                                Rs. 266/- has become Rs. 6000+ in a short span of just 7-8 months after reversals stated above. Even Rs. 266/- was not a default but remained unpaid due to discrepancies in the statement and non reversals of the undue charges.

                                  My credit card on the name Sameer Visaria credit card no. [protected]. In the month of Feb 2009 the outstanding on my credit card was arround Rs.31000 from which ur chennai exe. told me to pay the amt of rs. 18000 change which was paid in cash n cheque of 17000 n they comitted that they would wave off the balance as therer were debit charges n latepayments charges. there after it never happened and i used it for 12000 but in my statement balance reflects as 23000. hence i requested ur call center exe. about this issue but has not yet solved so i stopped the payment and tought that once its solved then i shell make the payment., but to my surprise today i got call from collection dept. delhi n the people spoked to me very rudely not sparing even while driving after they called up my res. no. and spoked to my mom in a vulgar language this is not be gesture which i expect from an international banking sector. i hope the issue get resolved soon so that i can farward my payments. the details of received calls [protected] and [protected] at

                                  ABN AMRO Credit Card — harressment by ABN AMRO

                                  I was given a ABN Amro Gold card and was transferred . I Intimated the company on their call center number and was assured that the address will be changed.

                                  Now after 2 yrs thay called me and asked to that a non bailable warrent is being issued to me due to non payment of the bills and the amount now payablke is 80k. I found out that the no warrent was issued . They also told me to deposit Rs 25K for the full & final settlemrent which I did fearing the arrest immeditely. Now nobody id giving me the full & Final letter and the said number is not answering.

                                  Pls let me know the further course of action in this.
                                  I had a abn amro credit the statement was not coming, delivery to neighbours happening and charging late fees. in between i misplaced the same and hotlisted the same.

                                  after the same they did not reverse the charges and sent me a full settlement letter which again was months late. when i did the payment also they put me in CIBIL.

                                  i continously argued to get my name removed but till date over a year has happenned but nothing is done.

                                  Just go to consumer court in your city & file a fraud complaint... ABN will be forced to come to u & settle ur problem
                                  Once I started using ABN Amro credit card it is very good

                                    My loan a/c no.9335571 dt.aug-06 i pay regular installment till july-09 my total installment 36 month but last month aug-09 installment not come in my accounts (i pay advance cheque). We receive your letter dt.03.sept-09 till date no call to me and cheque is not bounce .so why bank written me letter and they late payment charges rs.497.00 debit to me. i inform you if you have cheque please deposit your bank because my loan complate and pl dont write to me about my credit rating (otherwise i go to consumer court)

                                      Marketing guy approached me for lifetime free credit card frm ABN amro, i never used the card so never bothered about statementts/payments. One fine day i get collection call who does not know what i have purchased, after asking for statement i come to know i was charged fee for the card, further late fees & finance charges got levied & my card was blocked. i spoke to customer service & explained the situation wherein all the charges were reversed & a confirmation email was sent to me stating that my card is zeroised, still my name exists in Cibil defaulters list becuase of ABN Amro due to which my new card appliction are getting declined, my email address is bhatia.[protected]@redifffmail.com

With respect to this i want tostate that i hav also recived same type of notice byAdvocate, Mr Jitendra K. Zha on 20/9/2007 but iwant to state with regret that the said matter was settele by Bank Coolection Officer, Mr RANA ROY In between april 2006/ JAN2007 Who was working with Pune Branch but he could not manage or get&forward to me clearance leter from his concern authority since till today though repatative fallow up with him at his Pune Fatima Nagar branch now he might be transferd to their GURAGOAN or any other branch.The concern should give me his detail trace or ask him to rember the case history&should stop these mental harassement to arrange clearance certificate& to stop further gugallary activities.In addition to this your high court advocate canot given his &your contact preson phone nos.SO GOD SAVE ME from this.

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        1. I had used ABN AMRO BANK Credit Card for purchases a few years back
                                        2. The Bank levied a renewal fee for the card without my consent when market was flooded with offerings of Life Time Free Credit Cards from all the Banks. I, immediately contacted the Customer Care of ABN AMRO Bank and told them that when the market is flooded with Life Time Free Credit Cards, it is unfair on the part of the Bank to levy renewal fee and the bill the same to me without consulting me. Further, if they interested in me continue using the card, they should waive the renewal fee and other charges related to the renewal fee. When they have refused to waive the same, I had then requested them to discontinue the card and informed them that I would be making payment for actual purchases I have made using the card minus renewal fee and that henceforth the card should be treated as discontinued. The last payment I had made was in April 2005.
                                        3. Recently when I have approached State Bank of India for a Car Loan, they have told me that as per the CIBIL report, there is an outstanding amount of Rs.1903 against my name in one of the credit cards I had used and hence as long as the amount is not cleared, the loan can not be sanctioned.
                                        3. SWhen I requested for details of the card against which there is an outstanding payment in my name, they did not provide the same and instead suggested to me to contact CIBIL online. I have tried one full day to get details from CIBIL online but could not get any details. Hence, I have sent a mail to CIBIL requreting for details of the credit card by quoting the CIBIL Report Control number. Instead of providing me the details the officer/ person who answered my mail asked for details of bank, loan taken and outstanding my PAN no. my residence address etc which are already available in the CIBIL Report. When I have pointed out the same in my reply mail, another person answered and asked for the same details. It appeared as if they are sending a pre-recored mail for such request.
                                        4. The SBI Officer told me that I can ot get loan from any bank as long as such outstanding payment exists against my name
                                        5. This means that I have been termed as defaulter and that my credit ratings in the market is very low due to this.
                                        6. This is an insult to me which is very unfair and uncalled for, without verifying the records appropriately.
                                        7. I feel that it amounts to black mail by the ABN AMRO Bank by carrying such frivolous outstanding amounts in their data bases against my name.
                                        8. Further, CIBIL can not be absolved of their responsibility of checking such outstanding amounts when a request has been made to them and terming me as a defaulter without giving me any chance of representation.
                                        9. Please let me know what kind of redressal would be available to me. if I have to write to RBI in this matter, who should I address.
                                        10. Since, I had discontinued the card in the year 2005, since, I had not done anything wrong in the circumstances, I did not keep the history of these credit card statements and hence, at present I have no details of the credit card number. I have requested the Customer Care Centre of ABN AMRO Bank giving the details of my personal particulars, they have traced my credit card numbar as well as the outstanding amount of Rs.1903/- they have refused to divulge the credit card number and told me that they are registering my request for details of the outstanding amount and that an officer would contact me within 3 working days on my contact numbers (mobile as well as my office land line number). My complaint reference no. with them is [protected] dated 02.09.2009 and the time recorded is from 1031 hrs to 1047 hrs 51 seconds.

                                        PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY FOR REDRESSAL OF MY GRIEVANCE.

                                        I am a credit card holder no.[protected].It is known the sources that my mane was shown as a defaulte r however I have not utilised the services provided by the bank I have offered the Free holiday package which was refused me howeve the amount was levied againts me the bank has stopped the sending tha statments since 10/2006 and without any corrospding they show mke as a defaulter

                                        I have deposit Cheque No. 008905 State bank of India Vijay nagar Ghaziabad for Rs. 900/- on 27.11.2009 till date not clear in my account (Cheque deposit in your NOIDA Branch sector 18, ) so i talk to your phone banking officer he says that my cheque outstation cheque

                                        sir the same bank cheque of Rs 950/- deposit in the same branch and clear in three days

                                        i have cash deposit in your branch Rs 900.00 against the cheque payment of rs. 900/- your charges of Rs 75.00 debit in my card (for cash deposit charges) please no mistake from my side its mistake in your bank sinde the same remove/credit in my creditcard account.
                                        since ABN AMRO Bank is losing business, they have adopted this method of generating some funds for their survival. Such kind of complains have been heard from many. They(Bank) donot have any record of transaction, but try this trick with innocent people.
