Dear sir,

I the undersigned Maulin P Fadia having one on going loan with ABN AMRO (ahmedabad) my loan account no is 9374112 and problem started on 2nd of november 2008, there is debit instruction from my HDFC bank saving account for ECS... but on 2nd of november my funds were underclearing so 1st time my ECS gone return due to insufficient fund from HDFC Bank. here in this case i know as per RBI guideline i have to maintance sufficient closing balance... i agree that this time it was my mistake...After two days there was a call from concern department of ABN AMRO (Noida) and he told me to pay them through cheque.. ..on 06/11/2008 person came to my place and collect the cheque of 7049 rs cheque no 400306 HDFC Bank. i am having reciept (Reciept no. 9551RBSM/1458) and the same cheque has been cleared on 08/11/2008 from my account i am having debit entry in my account in favour of ABN Amro...so matter is closed...

nut on 11th of november again ECS hit in my account but i have already paid through cheque ECS was returnd... so its kind of communication gape from ABN AMro collection department... my demand with ABN AMro is only that when there is a mistake from your side and due to that my credit track is affecting you should have to give me one appology letter that due to there communication gape second time ECS hit after i had paid...

but some Mr Ram (Delhi) called me and he also confirm that its a mistake from there side but not be able to give appology letter as their bank has no drafted letter for this kind of mistakes... sounds silly... and secondly he told me if first time ECS returns then system will automatically hit ECS second time... i agree with that system but i ask him. so, why person from ABN call me and collect the cheque instead of informing this... if at that time there person told me this then i keep balance and do not issue a cheque for the same...

i simply ask for applogy letter as there person gave me wrong instructions...

ABN AMRO — ECS TO BE STOP

PLEASE STOP MY ECS against loan accoaunt number 9211272
AND GIVE ME REFUND AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

With reference to above subject I would draw your attentation that I have paid the said loan in 30th July 2007.
Since 8 months I am out of town and now I checked my saving account number 36763 of Bank of India, Ballard Estate,
I found that your are still sending ECS of Rs 4, 111/- since last 5 months and they got cleared also.

Due to this my LIC and other important cheques are bounce and I have to pay heavy penalty.
I do not know how to recoverd the same. But please give me credit of Rs 20, 555 as early as possible in my same saving account.

For your reference please find here with

1. Your letter copy toward full and final settlement
2. Payment receipt copy of Rs 95, 500/- number 13467 dated 30/7/2007 thru cheque no 001237 if ICICI Bank.
3. ICICI Bank statement where you will found that above cheque has been cleared on 9/08/2007.

I did agreement with Club Mahindra for Holiday/summer vacation at Club Mahindra property in the month of Feb.2009 and i have paid 10% advance and i did agreement for 90% in EMI threw ECS. But due to very weak and unprofessional service, I does not want to countinue with agreement and i want to close my ECS with immd. effect, but My HDFC bank is not ready for stop of this ECS and i have made call so many time at their customer care[protected] and it is very sad that all of the execuitves are not know how can i stop this ECS. After my request they are not ready to take my request and as on 7th June they trf one EMI threw ECS of Rs. 7797/-

ABN AMRO Personal Loan — Abbusive & Insultaing language

i am repeating my letter to local ABN branch. I have two past such letters. Pls inform wher can i mail them to you.

i am trying to attch all my 3 letters to you as attachment. I trust you will get it.

even after paying ECS ever since July 2006, S and maintain amount in bank account, we get repeat call from ABN Delhi. I asked them to provide reason for the ECS gtting rejected in worting so that i can talk to my bank if required. Also requested them to find why ECS getting clear for so many years to solve the problem.

Instead Mr. Rajesh calling from[protected] prefer to use all possible foul & Insulting words. Hence we both had to stop taking his phones.

    1.six month the abn amro credit card collection agent came and promissed for settelement and collected 8000inr and went
    no settelment been produced and when we asked for the settlement letter the collection agent stated to tell lies and i sent the mail to amn amro greivence cell then lot of call and their representatives every one came but no esult been acheived and still now they are not ready to show me that collection boy who came ascheating messanger of abnamro credit card

    2.even after this i started to pay them and 2 months later i issued a ICICI bank cheque for clearance but the abn amro personals sent that for clearing to HDFC bank sooner the HDFC bankers refused and returned stating wrong bank collection the abn amro fools sent that to my icici bank without making a clearing seal
    that been returned to them by my bankers stating this been CROSSED TWO BANKS
    as soon as i came to know this i issued a new cheque for the same amount and that been credited to them in the next 2 working days but the bankers didnot returned the cheque to me and again submittedthat after 25 days without my permission but given a false commitment stating that the Instrument been sent to me Via xxx courier but yet till now nothing been received by me as well i sent mail asking this to them but no reply yet
    they are not ready for the settlement also and asking for 45000inr

    ABN AMRO Credit Card — ABN AMRO Bank foolish me

    I have block my ABN AMRO Bank credit card on around last week of may and request to issue new card and bank customer service departement told me i have received my credit card within 10 working days after 10 days i again call and asking about my card then they people told me bank is not issue ABN AMRO ADLABS CREDIT CARD now so instead of adlabs card bank can give you ONE card so i request for ABN AMRO ONE CARD so now from that date i call so many times in customer departement and also so many mail to bank but bank give me foolish me and told me you can receive your card within 4 working days. so almost 4 months complete but bank not give me satisfied answer. i thing this kind of service bank can give me then who can trust this kind of bank

      1. Please note that In February 2006 I wrote to ABN amro to close my credit card account because I had got a job in Mussoorie and ABN did neither had a branch in Mussoorie nor in Dehradun (capital city nearby). Please see Email 1 appended below.

      2. After having sent several mails (Reminders appended below Email 1), they finally replied me saying that I should call their Delhi customer care number which was not practically possible, because I can not hold on infinitely on an STD line. Then they called me on my new number and tried to convince me to stick to their card and I clearly explained them that it was not possible for me as they do not have branch in the city I am working now. Reply from ABN is pasted just below reminder I sent to them.

      3. Then I got my statement in which they charged me with a late fee for Rs. 500/- and also charges for some CREDIT SHIELD which I had never applied for. I was not responsible for the delay in making payment but its ABN that have made all the delays. I requested customer care to reverse this late fee. Email 2 appended and reminders too.

      4. Now I take leave from my office and come to Delhi to settle this issue and after various discussion I was asked to make a payment of Rs. 7720/-. Email Receipt of that payment is pasted as Email 3,

      5. And after settling the whole issue I receive a statement next month according to which I still owe Rs. 5000/- to ABN. I again wrote to customer care and Email 4 for which is pasted below.

      6. I even wrote to Consumer Forum regarding this whole issue and harassment I had gone through all this time Email 5 pasted for your information. Also pasted is reply from customer care.

      7. Email 6 of September 2006 is self explanatory and shows my frustration clearly that despite following up so much I never got a proper assistance from your customer care. I did not received the NO DUE CERTIFICATE and then I gave up sending reminders. And these are not full mails. I had sent hundreds of reminders other than these and I can send them as well for your reference if you want to.

      8. There was a complete silence of 2 years in between. No communication from the bank at all.

      9. Now finally when I came back to Delhi I thought of contacting you once again and sent you my final mail pasted at the last.

      10. The most shocking of all is that on Friday, November 14, 2008, I got a call from RBI ConsumerEX division called me and said that ABN has sent my name for DEFAULTER’S LIST. I just don’t know how to deal with this now. I need your assistance please.

      EMAIL LAST MONTH

      I have been writing to you for last 3 years to settle my account. Every time its me who is concerned about NO DUE CERTIFICATE and I never receive a response from customer care. Now also I contacted you (3 weeks back) regarding the same and today I am informed that I have to pay rs. 14000/-. And this is just because the old customer care executive who dealt with me 3 years ago has bot sent my file for clearance to RBI. I have already made the full and final payment as advised by that old chap 3 years ago and therefore, now I request you to please issue me a NO DUE CERTIFICATE. I am pasting below extract of my conversation with your customer care executives for your reference. If you need I can forward all the other emails for our reference which can help you in settling my account and issue NO DUE CERTIFICATE to me.
      I M NOW BACK IN DELHI AND WANTED TO USE ABN CREDIT CARD AGAIN BUT THIS WAY I THINK I WONT THINK OF IT AGAIN AND WILL SUGGEST OTHER FRIENDS AS WELL NOT TO GO FOR IT.

      This is to bring to your notice that I am upset with the services u render to your costumers as I have been with your bank for so many years and never had problem for last 2/3 months I am having problem for the same as I am doing my payment why I have been harassed and have fitly words from a female on my mobile no. her name was SAHELI and from abm-ambro tel. no [protected] on 25/01/2009 @ 1105hrs she said that I should do the payment I asked her why she is calling me for payment u check and find out first she started saying u cannot understand what I am saying why I have taken a loan when you cannot pay why bank give loan to baggers like you who cannot pay Rs5000/- then I told she I will complain to police the words u are using she again said bagger best of luck go do what u want.

      Is this the way u train your staff so that they can abuse the costumer, there are only 2 installment of Rs 2497/- each and why the costumer care had mentioned the amount is Rs 6184/-


      I request your goodself to look into the matter and find out why I have been harested I am waiting for your reply within 7 days and that female should apologize for same
      This is to bring to your notice that I am upset with the services u render to your costumers as I have been with your bank for so many years and never had problem for last 2/3 months I am having problem for the same as I am doing my payment why I have been harassed and have fitly words from a female on my mobile no. her name was SAHELI and from abm-ambro tel. no [protected] on 25/01/2009 @ 1105hrs she said that I should do the payment I asked her why she is calling me for payment u check and find out first she started saying u cannot understand what I am saying why I have taken a loan when you cannot pay why bank give loan to baggers like you who cannot pay Rs5000/- then I told she I will complain to police the words u are using she again said bagger best of luck go do what u want.

      Is this the way u train your staff so that they can abuse the costumer, there are only 2 installment of Rs 2497/- each and why the costumer care had mentioned the amount is Rs 6184/-

      ABN AMRO Bank / Credit Card — NOT UPDATED IN CIBIL

      I had used the abn amro bank credit card and had paid the principle ampunt after the confirmation from the bank that they will update the record in CIBIL. But after 1.5 years when i have applied for home loan amy cibil report is showing that the whole amount is pending to pay where as bank is saying that they have send the upadted records to cibil.now i am not able to understand what should i do.

      As per settlement letter of ABN AMRO letter Ref. No. [protected] dated 23/12/09, I have paid the full and final settlement amount.
      But as per the settlement letter, till dated they have not updated the cerdit Bureau records due to which I am unable to get loan.
      This is causing too much unconvince to me.
      This people don't have even think about, what problem people might have to face due to thier negligence.

        Documented Goo[censored]p from ABN AMRO BANK


        Hi

        I had opened an Auto loan Overdraft account with ABN Amro Bank on 21st September 04, the account was active.

        Bank had approached me in the month of January 08, saying that they are in the process of closing all the OD accounts, at that time I had an outstanding of Rs.1, 85, 000/-, and I expressed that I will not be able to close the account with one shot,

        They came back to me in the month of March 08, seeking for settlement to close the account, with mutual exchange of mails from the bank and me, they offered me to pay Rs.1, 25, 000/- on closing the account as full and final settlement.

        I received the mail from the bank on the same, post that I had paid the said amount of Rs.1, 25, 000/- in the month of April 08, and I received the letter dated 9th June 08 on the Bank’s Letter Head from the main branch on the closing and also the letter to RTO on cancellation of hypothecation.

        I cancelled the hypothecation on my RC book giving the letter from the bank.

        I had applied for a personnel loan from Kotak Mahindra, Barkley’s & ICICI in the month of October 08, and for my surprise all the three loan’s got rejected, which was not the case in the past 14 years of my working.

        Then I call the above banks to know the reason for the rejection, they said it as CIBIL Reject, I in turn clarified with my friend who is in banking services about the rejection as I had no clue of any default from my end.

        Then my friend gave me the printouts of the CIBIL statement, for my surprise it was the above account which is still active.

        I personally went to the branch on 31st October 08, to get a clarification on the same they are yet to revert with their feedback, as they were also surprised.

        Kindly advise if this can be taken up seriously, as it has been a major damaging incident for me.

        I in fact have all the mails and the documents to prove this blunder.

          Respected Sir/Ma'am,

          Im Sri Raghav and I'm working with HTC Global Services, Chennai. I have my Salary Account[protected] with ABN AMRO.

          On the 24th of October 2008 I had called the Customer Care for applying for a new Credit Card (Request No:[protected]. The Customer Care executive said the Sales Team will get in touch with me within 3 days. But th Sales Team never called. So I called up Customer Care again on the 30th of October to find the status. The Custoemr Care executive said he will take up another request (Req No:[protected] and ensure that they will get in touch with me within two days. Nobody called me. So I called up again on Saturday (November 1st) and launched a complain (Complaint No: [protected]). The Customer Care executive said they will contact me ASAP. But still no one has called.

          I have to bring to your notice that the Customer Service of ABN AMRO is pathetic and the organization is an embarassment to the banking industry on the whole. Even while opening the S/B Salary Account, I had so many problems that it took me almost a month to activate the account. I am posting this complaint on www.complaintsboard.com so that other customers will not take the pains o[censored]sing the services of ABN AMRO and be disappointed.

            I took a car loan, personal loan and credit card from ABN AMRO Bank. I preclosed the PL and Car loan. When I asked for NOC of PL and Car papers bank told me they cannot release both as I have CC dues outstanding against me. These products are related and they can withhold the NOC and car papers unless CC dues are paid. They are sending goons to my place at 9:30 PM accompanied by ABN AMRO collection officer for settlement of the CC Account. I have lots of issues with my CC account. I never recieved any statements and have written record of correspondence with bank regarding the same. I made payment of more than a lac on the card worth 1 lac as and when demanded by collection agents. Despite of this I was harassed once I stopped payment after informing the bank that I want to settle the amount once and for all and they should send me the complete statements. But no official took a call on this and collection agents kept calling my relatives even when I was avilable for communication on my phone and address. I have faced enough harassment to pay CC dues without assurance from some senior officer that after paying certain amount I won't be bugged by ABN personnel again. I want to ask:

            Is it legal for bank to withhold my NOC and car papers when full and final payment has been made on the same. Can they relate it to CC account.Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,

            Hi, I have a personal loan with abn and a ready credit loan with ABN. I have paid more than the EMI told to me during the time of Ready cash loan. I have paid 25 EMI, instead of 24 EMI. I still keep getting calls from the nodia office asking me to RS.5, 500 as late payment charges, whereas I have made every payment with late payment charges. I also have a personal loan which is currently running, I was not able to pay one months EMI, I called the bank and told them and the bank was ok with it. But the collection agent Keep torchuring me Day in and day. I got a call from their chennai office saying that no collection agent will call, but still I have received more than 10 calls this morning. What do I do. Do I approach the legal way or how to go about it. I am in a bad financial situation right now. but the calls from the agent by harish is terible . Please let me know how to proceed.

            ABN AMRO have charged Rs. 2610/- on 12th Feb 2008 for Health Policy without my permission and approval and also charged Rs.595/- as Membership Fees, i dont know why?

            Please note that my credit expired on Feb 2008 itself and i have not applied for its renewal.
            I have neither received any Health Policy from bank nor received any statements from bank since Mar2008. Bank told me that i have purchased something from ABN amro credit credit ,now after more that one year i found that i have not purchased anything , its ABN AMRO bank who forcing me to pay for Health Policy which i have neither received nor confirmed.               Hi,
              Today i received a call from ABN AMRO delhi centre and i've been receiving atleast two calls everyday for past 2months.Most of the time i would disconnect, but today i picked it and before i could listen he asked whether i know Hindi as he was speaking in hindi.I said, i can, but would be comfortable if we can talk in English as it was related to banking. But he forced me not to speak in english n insulted me by using absuing words, and when asked for his name or asked him to transfer the call to his higher manager, he immediately disconnected the call. I would like to register a complaint against that person who called me from ABN AMRO Customer care division Delhi. This is the number:[protected].

              This is regarding my ABN AMRO ONE Card (no. [protected] ).

              Way back in the month of January'08, I have been lieved with a charge of Rs 5000 ( Rs 4500 membership fees + Rs 500 as joining fees ) for a special holiday package.

              I informed your customer care department to remove it as I was not interested. They assured me for the same but the latter bills always had the mention of the amount. I continued to inform the bank and also was making regular payments.(above the minimum amount due) to ensure that my balance amount comes under the permissible limits till May'08.

              Then I decided not to pay till the time the matter gets resolved. The same I conveyed to the Bank executives and Collection Department on numerous occasions. After 15-20 days, I received the call from NOIDA. The person was the Nodal Officer and en quired about issue. He then told me to write a mail at rahul.[protected]@in.abnamro.com. After that I didn't received any call regarding my complaint.

              On the various occasion, I receive that call and everyone gives verbal assurances with varied alternatives with no result.

              Just 05 days back, a person (Mr. Sameer) as Manager ABN AMRO - Credit Cards called me up and told that card is blocked permanently. He told after deducting the required amount my balance is coming as Rs 16, 000 which I agreed to pay in 02 Installments. I told him that I shouldn't be a settlement as it was not my fault. He agreed and told that the case will not effect my CIBIL records. He also agreed he will be giving in writing.
              Sir, till date I am waiting for his mail and when I called up the same number I came knew that it was a PCO.

              I am tired of all the follow ups. I don't know where to do and where to complaint.

              As I have been made defaulter in CIBIL with no fault.

              That on 02.09.2006 I booked one ticket for DELHI-MUMBAI-DELHI against which I tryed to made the payment of Rs. 15, 950.00 through my ABN AMRO credit card bearing number [protected]I but card declined, then i swab amax card and made the payment.I had approached the booking office of Indian Airlines through on-line ticketing and came to know that they have received the payment against the particular booking amount through my AMEX credit card bearing number[protected]

              I had lodged a complain immediately vide complaint # [protected] dated-20/09/2006 duly acknowledged by your office regarding non-payment and the debit of said booking as per the credit card statement. But despite of the facts, neither the amount was credited in my account nor any appropriate action has taken. On the contrary, a statement of account has been sent to me showing Rs. 15, 950.00 as an outstanding amount.



              The vide your letter # 103/[protected] dated 13.11.2006 you asking me to furnish the details of second charge, whereas I had furnished all relevant documents along with my letter dated 23.11.2006. It is regret to mention that despite fulfilling all the requirements, the said amount has not been credited and no proper response made by you.



              That under these circumstances, I hereby call upon you by way of this letter to credit the said amount (Rs. 15, 950.00) and withdraw the debit balance from the credit card statement within 15 (fifteen) days from the receipt of this letter otherwise failing I will have to take legal action against you .

              I am facing serious issues with ABN AMRO cc, they do not send me bills in the first place and on calling them up they say there is an outstaning and ask me to pay.. how can I pay without seeing the bill and then there are lots of late payment charges etc levied on it when the bill comes after multiple requests in 2-3 months.

              I want to seriouysly go to the consumer court for this behaviour of theirs.. can you let me know if you think the same..

                  Let me first give the details so that the complaint can be processed.

                  This is regarding two transactions which took place by I did not got any amount and balance vanished from my account.

                  First transaction was on 18th Oct from PNB atm at Najafgarh for Rs 1600. (Nearby 7:00PM)
                  Second transaction was on 20th Oct from SBI atm Najafgarh for Rs 2000. (Nearby 7:00PM)

                  In both the transactions the ATM machine showed error as "Transaction cancelled" but balance got deducted from account.

                  For that I launched a complaint also at customer care : 205414.

                  Now bank says that the transactions were successful and the balacne cant be reversed.

                  This is a checting done by bank.

                  Please do the need ful so that I may get justice.

                    I have not been receiving the bank statement for my credit card and when now i have made the complete payment they have charged me with the late payment chagers and their employee is not even ready to close my account saying that i would have to pay the late charges fee for which i am not responsible as they did not produce the bill to me and their employee said that then they would just keep on charging me the late fee
                    I have ABN Credit Card bearing Number [protected], in February 2006 I got call from ABN AMRO Executive that they are upgrading my Credit Card from Silver to Gold. I had denied the call centre executive for upgrading card to gold from silver and not to charge any membership fee, but still they had upgraded and charged the membership fee of Rs. 2500/-.

                    When I spoke to in the month of april, 2006 for reversal of membership fee and they have confirmed they will be reversing the membership but asked me to pay Rs. 3400/- and they will be reversing the membership in the next coming month. I paid Rs. 3400/- in the month of March, 2006.

                    In the month of may, 2006 also they have not reverse the membership fee entry and subsequently I reported to the call centre and stopped the payment and ask them to cancel the card.

                    In the June, 2006 instead revesing the membership fee again they have charged Rs. 2000/- as membership fee

                    In the month of July, 2006 billing again they charged Rs. 2500/- as membership fee and reversed Rs. 2000/-

                    In the month of september they given my account to recovery agencies and they followed me for the pending payment, which is wrongly debited to my account. On the deniel of wrongly charged excess amount payment they behaved very rudely and created mental distrubance to me and forced me to settle the account. When I explained them the excess amount charged to my account they verified with the bank and came back in the month of December, 2006 asking me to settle the account forcefully. I had paid Rs. 8200/- to close the account in December, 2006. Actual Amount I suppose to pay is Rs. 3, 893/- due to force, coharsin and mis behaviour of collection agents at my work place and residence which created mental disturbance and also creating wrong image in my neibhourhood and at work place. So finally I paid excess amount of Rs. 4207/- and close the account.

                    And the above account closure was done in the month of December, 2006, but ABN AMRO Bank reported to CIBIL on[protected] that I settled the account in Aug, 2008 and due to this wrong information my credibility is at task. I am unable to get any loans from any Bank.

                    Please kindly look in to the above given details which clearly shows I have not settled my account I had closed my account paying excess money.

                    So kindly show the way how to change ACCOUNT STATUS : settled to Close in CIBIL. Which will allow me to get financial aid from the banks.

                    I have faced a similar problem where I was assured by the ABN Amro executive that my account will be closed after I paid my dues, which I did immidiately and was later charged with late fee and banking charges.
                    I have refused to pay that amount and the executives have become quite rude and bordering on abusive.
                    I live with my old parents and fear for their safety as these are goons we are dealing with and I wonder what level they will stoop to

                    Out of fear I am going to pay the amount they are asking and will hope that the harassment stops.

                      Hi,
                      I have not been receiving any statements/bills for my card since months. The collection agency has been calling at my residence and asking me to pay the due amount of Rs. 2000 every month. I have been regularly paying that amount. However I recently got a call that my outstanding was Rs.74000.00 . They said the intrest got accumulated since you have been not paying the full amount. I am in a soup for no fault of mine. I told the agency to submit me the remaining statements. They say they are not in the position to do so. Please help.

                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                        I applied for ABN AMRO loan on credit card on 19-Sep-2008 . They dispatched thru Overnite express . But they didnt deliver to me. When i checked online using AWB# of courier, it is showing signed and delivered to me. Instantly i called that courier centre and inquired about my courier, they told that, Sir we lost your courier, we filed a FIR also. Instantli callled the ABN AMRO bank and inquired abt the same, but they dont have any status regarding the courier. I requested for the cancellation of my issued draft, they told we do only thru IDEMINTY BOND. I made a bond on 200 rs/- stam paper and i sent to them on 11-oct-2008. Today .e 18-oct-2008 i called the bank and i inqiured about my courier, they are telling that we didnt receive it, wait for another 2-3 days . Actually my due date for card is on 23-Oct-2008, if the issue wont resolved before that, then as per the bank, i have to pay the EMI for the first month with out taking any loan . How strange is that.
                        I was harrased y the ABN AMRO bank and also it courier services.

                        Please resolve my issue as soon as possible.

                            Dear Concerned,



                            It’s been around two months, my request haven't been resolved yet. You are requested to investigate the below mentioned points which are totally valid and need to be resolved on URGENT basis as delay in customer service doesn't give good impression of the bank to its customers.



                            On 26th Aug'08, I had made a complaint to ABN AMRO BANK regarding the charges of Rs. 1307.34. This transition wasn't made by me and here I was failed to understand that why those charges were there in my billing statement. This goo[censored]p was reported to the customer service center through a call (Reference nos.[protected] & [protected]) and a hard copy was also sent through courier to the bank. Due to this pathetic customer service, I decided to cancel the credit card so i spoke to the customer care and made the cancellation call.


                            Apart from that, another concern is a sums of 4000/- rupees which have been added to my account as a holiday package's charges. Actually few days back I got a sales call from ABN AMRO BANK for a holiday package but as I wasn't interested, I didn't even give any kind of confirmation to the sales call. Then, along with my card cancellation request I got to know that they have added Rs 4000/- in my account for the same holiday package which I never requested for. AS soon as I got to know the same mistake I made a call to the customer care (Request Ref.[protected]) and asked them to reverse the unnecessary charges. As you can understand, a sales call only is converted into the sale once the caller gets the confirmation from the customer side with clear communication. The Card cancellation request (Ref.:A23 /RTPO/ 29/09/2008 /[protected] was received by me today itself but it shows that I need to clear all the due to close my credit card.



                            Please note that the same sales executive (Holiday package call) assured me that the sale won't be confirmed until unless the customer gives the card expiry date and the card number. As I was not interested in the same holiday package I didn't give any thing to him for the confirmation, then how can they charge for the same?



                            As we all can understand that Rs. 4000/- is not a small amount, please help me to reversed tha same on URGENT basis.



                            Please have your involvements to resolve the same issues with ABN AMRO BANK. Your kind consideration would be highly appreciated and would also be grateful.

On 13th December 2008, my card was forged by someone over the internet and made payments to different mobile service providers and same was confirmed by Bank's executive during the verification call at the same time. The card was used for full limits till that time but some transactions were declined by the bank, however transactions worth Rs 21399 were not reversed. I have paid all my outstanding as on statement date except the amount of fraud transaction. I have lodged the complaint in the bank about the same and received the new card along with few papers to complete the formalities for reversal of fraud transactions.

                            The required papers were sent to the bank two three times by fax and mail, but till date said transactions are not reversed by the bank, further in every statement late payment and interest is charged. I have called up many times but every time I was told that your transactions will reversed with in 60 days time period.

                            I am continuously receiving the calls from the bank's recovery division for the outstanding payment and every time I have to tell them the same thing. This is creating a status of defaulter on my name, which is not true…. in any case…

                            Now I have received an e-mail from ABN AMRO bank which is as follows;

                            "We refer to your dispute regarding the following transaction(s) debited to your card account:

                            We will like to clarify that the transactions conducted on your card are all internet transactions. They have been successfully done by using the CVV number that is available to the Card holder only. Hence the transactions are being deemed as valid transactions on your card account.

                            We regret that we will not be able to reverse the same and we request you to pay the said amount.

                            Please note that late fees are levied due to non payment of at least minimum amount due within payment due date. The finance charges are levied due to non payment of total outstanding within payment due date.

                            We regret that we will not be able to reverse the charges levied on your account.

                            We would like to inform you that total outstanding on your card account is Rs 30, 806.79 which is payable by you. The account is suspended due to non payment of the dues within the stipulated time.

                            Therefore, we would request you to clear your dues immediately to avoid any further charges and collection follow up."


                            I request you to please advice me on this matter.

                              I applied for a life time free credit card two years back which i never swiped or used. ...I got a call a year back asking for payment of 4000 for a holiday package which they provide. I refused to take and told i dont want to avail the offer.
                              But now on 24thJuly2008 i got a call from collection agencies telling that i have to pay 4000+interest = 8000 simply. When i ask them the details the Collection Manager Mr. Ganesh threatened me that he will take action if i dont settle the payment. He aslo said i have signed for this when they opted the application.(I am not at all aware of such offer that time and not intimated also)
                              Somebody please help me.. Bank people of ABN !!! Kindly take action on those who plays in between.

                              For the month of June 2007, July 2008 my credit card account has no outstanding balance moreover my total credit limit and my available credit limit were same. Un luckily my saving account is linked with my credit card account, thats why ABN AMRO has stolen money (INR 185) from my ABN AMRO SB account on July 26, 2008 saying that their is a minimum amount due on your card, when I checked my credit card account, my total credit limit and available credit limit are same in June 2008 and July 2008 i.e there is no due on my card since June 2008, all have been paid in advance before due date of June 2008. When I called the customer care and asked about INR 185 deducted from SB account, inspite of explaining me the details one stupid lady picked the phone and started shouting on me, she said this has happened due to processing error and you must have to afford the loss of INR 185 it will not be reversed back because auto pay is active on your SB account. This is clear case of cheating that a bank is stealing money from my SB account for no dues. Can any one help me in guiding about the RBI's new policy to deal with bank's in this matter.                               This is to inform u that the charges on the credit card is not accepted.

                              I had made a total payment of Rs.37200 + there was the reversal of Rs 4000 of promo scheme.

                              Total = 41200. the total outsanding on my card was 46000 (including promo scheme for which i

                              This 46000 bill was generated in 06/2008.

                              I had made the payment in june, july.

                              the charges for this two month was not accepted.

                              So i want the reversal for the same.

                              ABN-AMRO Bank has hidden the hidden charges for monthly EMI.

                              I mistakenly felled into ABN-AMRO credit card trap and latter a loan of 23000.I was lied by the executive who called me up and given me a loan of 23000.When I came to know the hidden charges on monthly EMI I paid the entire amount due to me as told by their CC executive and requested for closure of the EMI as well as the card.But they are not only not closing the EMI but also putting arbitary charges on me which I think beyond RBI guidelines.

                                Respected sir,
                                I have the honour to state the following few lines for your kind consideration and sympathetic action.
                                I, Gagan Ahuja, state that I was the credit card holder of ABN AMRO bank, my credit card number is [protected] as well as an add on card in the name of my wife Bhawana Ahuja (add on card number [protected]). Due to some family dispute, I got blocked the said add on card, in September, 2007.
                                On 13/7/2008(Sunday), I got a call from one of your office in Noida that someone had made purchase, amounting Rs. 13639/-on yesterday, against the said add on card. (There are eleven entries of purchase made on the particular day i.e. 12/7/08). I got shocked to know about all these purchases made and told that person, how can it be possible that the add on card became active after its blockage. After this, the caller of the phone call said that any how I will check and call you latter, but there was no phone call from him after that.
                                After this I made a contact with the customer care of the bank on 13/7/08 at 1215hrs and told regarding the call received. Madam Mehak Bhatia was on the line and told that it cannot be possible as, as per our record, your Card has been already closed since long back and it is not possible for me to give you any more information, as there is problem in the server. In case if you require any information, please contact tomorrow morning only. Any how, I will again block your add on card now, to avoid its misuse. I requested to block my primary card also. (Kindly verify the same from the recorded conversation recorded by you)
                                Next day, on 14/7/08at 1255hrs, again I confirmed the same from the customer care. Mr. Pranjil Sharma was on the line and told that it is correct that as per our record your add on card was blocked long back by you and I am not getting, the date of blockage of add on card as it was blocked, more then six months back and any how just hold the line, I will check it again and after that he told your card has been closed on 30/9/2007 and as per the record seven entries of purchase made on 12/7/08 with me.
                                On the same day i.e. 14/7/2008, I filed the complaint with the Branch Manager of ABN_AMRO Bank. They told that they cannot do any thing as this bank is not dealing with the credit cards. We have received your complaint and sent an e-mail to the concerned department.
                                Next day on 15/7/08, I received a call from the Fraud ant Cell of the bank and told about that all facts to the person concerned and he told that he will give me, tomorrow morning, after collecting all the information’s, but I did not get any response from him.
                                Then I tried by best to contact the Nodal officer of the credit card cell, but failed. Then lastly, operator connected me to a senior executive, Shri Neeraj ji on 16/7/08, when I told him about all the above facts and requested him to verify the same from the records as well as from recorded conversation of the bank record. Then he asked me to give the ticket number for that, I told as non one gave me the ticket number and he told that it is not possible for me to find out, without the ticket number, whereas I gave him the correct day and time of the contact.
                                In vi ew of the above, I request your honour to kindly investigate the matter and necessary action may please be taken against the defauler.

                                  Arockia Raja would like to go for cancellation of my credit card.

                                  The reason behind is Undue late payment fee levied against last month statement where as, have not received last month statement and by over phone i enquired and paid on 16th Sep'08 for an amount of Rs.1000/- cash payment (statement generation date:17th sep'08).

                                  Inspite of that a late fee and finance charge for the next transactions has been levied for Rs.2243/- (statement dt:17th Sep'08) for not having been received statements request you to waive the amount charged or cancel my card duly with effect from 03.10.08.

                                  I Will pay an amount of Rs.44447/- (incl cash fee of Rs.75/- for last payment) spent against the card and clear before the due date of 7th Oct'08.

                                  As a valid customer, been having transacted for several months have not been a defaulter in my payments, considering the same would request to waive the card interest charges to enable to continue card acess or else kindly cancel the card.

                                  Acknowledge the receipt of mail Asap with revert will be highly appreciated.

                                    I hold a credit card of M/s ABN Amro Freedom Credit Card. I was out of station due to which the payment was delayed however even after droping the cheque of the minimum due amount I am receiving calls from them using abused language & threats that the payment made by me will be accounted in next month and I have to pay the amount in cash.

                                    Inspite of telling them that the cheque has been dropped for minimum due and as soon as I receive the next statement I shall pay the next due amount immediately they used a very bad language and threats that I have to pay in cash and also asking me to go to any ATM and withdraw the money required etc. etc. as there is some female calling up from +[protected] using very very bad language I called up their customer care [protected] and have launched a complaint also the complaint receipt no is [protected]. Kindly suggest what has to be done in this case. I am paying my dues as per their clauses incase the payment is done late I have been accepting their late charges too.

                                      to day ihave received a sms from your bank stating that "recorded internet purchase of Rs.1960.00 on you ABN AMRO credit card on 27.9.2008.This isfor your information -ABN AMRO".Iam rather surprised to see such fke, transaction billing for which i didnt gave any approval.The transaction is fictitious and i would request you not to approve the same.i also request you to approve any overseas transactions in my card or put a hold in this card transactions &issue me another new card if possible.
                                      The matter is serious .pl.do the needful to curb such fake transactions and pprovals.

                                        ABN AMRO One Credit Card — Unauthorized transaction by ABN AMRO amounting to fraud- SR: 09031500798

                                        Dear abn amro,

                                        An unauthorized transaction of "MMT MONEY SAVER FEE" was charged on my card on 26-feb 2009 after several hounding calls made by your officers for me to avail a trip worth Rs.5000 from Make My Trip. Tell me this, do you think I would have said OK if I knew I had to pay that amount anyways? I had no requirement for it and the person who spoke to me said not a single paise will be charged for it. Not a single paise indeed, Rs.5000 plus tax of around was charged. I registered a complaint for reversal on 15th march and was told someone would call me within 5 working day. Today is the 22 March, do the math. I called the bank several times last night was disconnected 6 times before some Shezan from Mumbai was kind enough to let me know maintenance was on.

                                        Priya from Delhi today told me that it takes 10 working days. How can 2 people working for the same bank give me 2 different information? Probably you need to coach them better?

                                        She has told me I need to wait till 26th of March and that it will be done. I really don't trust her- this is by experience of my husband who has had similar problems with you.

                                        I kindly request you to escalate this issue and reverse the charge ASAP. This is exactly the kind of issue that gets taken to the consumer court and ends up in the bank paying settlement for negligence.
