I have prepaid account with AIRTEL no [protected] there have been deduction of money from my account many times for the services not requested by me. This puts me in very embarrassing situation when I speak to customer care. There were occasion when my mobile no was blocked to speak with customer care to register such complains. I have requested many time to start DND(Do not disturb) service but no action has been taken so for. Please look in to the matter.

AirTel — Horrible and embarrassing airtel

I have given airtel a check of 1500 rupees on 7th of august. after waiting for almost 15 days and calling them for 'n' number of times, i got to know from airtel customer care that connection cannot be given due to technical difficulties. they said they will refund the money when i called them on 22nd of aug. Today i.e 31st of Aug, they have come to my house thay are ready to give the connection and i have already taken tata indicom connection.

These guys are really frustating customers, bluffing customers with false promises that connection will be given in 2 days...

what should be done for such a stupid service...............

Airtel Prepaid Connection — embarrassing the customer

I am a central Government employee and had taken a prepaid airtel connection n the year 2007 and also submitted all relevant documents i.e. residence proof, service certificate, copy of govt. I/card, pan card etc. But on 07.10.2010 one sms was sent by airtel and asked me to produce the document again by today itself otherwise my service will be stopped. When I contacted Customer Care and told that I am not in the town and it is quite difficult to the document within 24 hours and have already submitted the same in the year 2007. If require, I am on leave and will resume my duty at Siliguri on 25.10.2010, and if it is so necessary then they should have intimated me before a week or should wait till 25.10.2010. But Shri Pradeep Roy and Rakesh Kumar of Airtel told me that it is not possible and I have to submit the documents within 24 hours by hook or crook. When I asked them that I want to take to the Senior member of Airtel that where it has written that I have to submit the document in 24 hours and cannot wait for a week or can not intimate the individual before a week. then they reluctant to give the answer. I am also facing same problem. with addition with this airtel has changed my tariff plan without taking any confirmation from me. When I had asked about this then call center executive had asked me to do recharge of 100 Rs. to reset tariff plan. But my problem is not solved.

I would like to suggest all "Not go to Airtel Airtel is chor company"

    Hello sir,
    I m Krupa Rani my Airtel DTH no. is [protected]. Very starting I had paid the amount for connection after completion of one month I got the connection,ok working.Now I m struggling a lot since signals were obstructed if rain falls and also if the climate is rainy.I think it is very bad. Generally every one likes to sit in front of TV when we r leisure,if it rains we will be mostly have no work & like 2 sit in front of TV but at that time there will be no signals & we cant enjoy it,Wat is the use o[censored]r bad connection.If i ring to the customer care they are asking me to wait till the rain stops,Very foolish answer...Improve ur network...

    Airtel DTH — NO DTH DURING RAINS

    It is very clear that DTH IS USELESS DURING RAINS.

    Another problem with AIRTEL - there is just no way you can speak to a Customer Support guy. Tried all methods - Calling Tollfree, Tolled, 5-digit number for Registered Mobiles & sending SMS. The call does not go through invariably - if by chance, you get through, the guy is invariably sitting in some corner of the country (each time I get through, the location of the call centre who responds, is different) and more interested in getting a confirmation of all details, address, etc. - he is just not sensitive enough listen to your problem. The service is pathetic.

    I wish I had continued with my neighbourhood Cable TV - the guy used to attend to our problems very promptly by physically visiting and explaining each and every detail. It is sad that I have to endure this problem for 6 more months since I have subscribed for a full year.

    Sorry to say this but tillnow i.e 14 sep 2011 the problem was not rectified which u were mentioning as resolved.it would b better i[censored] try to solve it as soon as possible.

      My name is Shiva Sharma and I have been a very loyal and esteemed customer of Airtel for quite some years now. I am writing to share my concern and bitter experience with Airtel regarding unresolved queries and false commitment and unethical practices. I will break my complaint in three parts as I have 3 different complaints.

      PART 1 – Unresolved Query leading to money loss , constant chasing by me to seek help from Airtel

      I had been using [protected] in Delhi until March 2011 and in March 2011 I got married and moved to Bangalore. I wanted to close my Delhi number and clear all outstanding. Usually I pay my bills online through my Airtel account and print the bills from there as part of my Airtel bill is reimbursed by my company. Meanwhile, I lost my Delhi sim and account password and called customer care to obtain it. Ideally when someone loses password, the customer care sends the password on the mobile number and email id. Both my email id and mobile number were registered with Airtel for this purpose. I shared the concern that I did not have [protected] sim and requested them to send the password on my current Bangalore number or email. I asked them to mail me soft-copies of the bills as well but that again is password protected and password was not sent to either phone or email. Despite my continuous calls to Airtel Customer care and talking to some 4-5 executives, I was not provided the password on either channels. In the meantime, my reimbursement cycle got over and I could not submit my bills and hence incurred loss of 4500. I was chasing Airtel to help me pay my bills and close my account. But no help was provided.

      PART 2 – Constant calls from collection officer to clear outstanding and pay extra charge too and FALSE COMMITMENT

      I stopped chasing them after sometime and suddenly in July they wake up and ask me to clear my outstanding. I got a call around July 9 from Ashok Malik - [protected] , [protected] who is I guess collection executive and he asked me to pay 7127Rs wherein my actual amount used until March was 5982Rs. I spoke to Malik and told him the whole story about why there was a delay from my side and how I had been calling Airtel for passwords and bills. Malik replied to me by saying that he could provide me the bills which make up 7127Rs and that would not be password protected. I was really disappointed as these bills could have been provided to me when I asked for them in March and the outstanding could have been cleared then only not leading to addition of extra charge which was added because of the delay by Airtel not giving me passwords and bills in March. I asked for relaxation as I already lost 4500 which my company could have reimbursed incase I would have submitted bills during the reimbursement cycle. After many conversations and arguments, I asked Malik to put me through his senior who has more authority than him and could help me. By this time, I had started going through the mental trauma. I spoke to his senior and again repeated the whole story about my chase in March but then the relaxation he could provide was only Rs 500 – Rs 1000. I was not ready to pay the hefty amount as I incurred loss because of Airtel. In the meantime, on July 13, 2011, I got a mail from [protected]@in.airtel.com regarding the nonpayment and escalation to legal department. I was shocked to see how these people can harass their “Platinum” customer who has even paid 10k to 20k bills per month and never asked for discount because that was actual usage. This was the first time I asked for discount cause Airtel was at fault. The mail also mentioned contacts of Ashwani Gandhi Mobile Number -[protected], & Rajkumar Parmar Mobile No-[protected] for further clarifications.

      I replied to the mail within an hour writing the whole story of March and then talks with Malik and his senior and marked it to nodal officer too. But I did not get a reply from anyone except the auto generated mail for acceptance of mail. I spoke to appellate officer as well, whose name I don’t remember and narrated the whole traumatic experience once again to her. She said that she does not have the authority to give me relaxation of more than 700Rs and I could talk back to collection officers as they could provide me more discount. I again spoke to Malik / Ashwani on [protected] and after many arguments, they settled for Rs4500 and gave me relaxation of Rs 2627 on my outstanding amount of 7127Rs. I asked them for a receipt to which they assured me that once I pay my bill, I would receive it on mail and that my account will be closed. I trusted them and cleared my bill the very next day in hope of ending the mental trauma I had to go though because of Airtel and sent a mail on July 14, 2011 to [protected]@in.airtel.com;nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in;appellate.[protecte... and called them on [protected] to confirm the same and asking for receipt. I did not get any reply from anyone except the auto answers to the mail. I sent reminder again but they turned deaf ears. I stopped chasing them thinking that my account is settled and closed now. After the rude behavior of all officers, Peace prevailed for more than a month.

      PART 3 – Calls again and Legal Notice and Unethical practices

      To my utter surprise, this was height o[censored]nethical practice by Airtel. I got a legal notice on August 23, 2011 from Airtel on my company’s address in Gurgaon regarding nonpayment of Rs2627 on my Delhi number [protected] and extra charges of legal process. Please note Rs2627 is the waive off amount that Malik and Ashwani had given me. I then called Ashwani on [protected] and he bluntly refused to agree that he spoke to me in July for this negotiation. I had an argument with him regarding the same and told him about the legal notice which was sent to my office bringing discredit on me. This was casual for him. I then called Mr. Rajkumar Parmar escalating the whole issue to him. According to him he was unaware of this and wanted a day’s time to revert and promised to revert on August 24, 2011( which is today). I waited for his call and finally called him in the afternoon to check on the status. My call was answered by a female and I was asked to wait and then call was abruptly cut. I called again 4-5 times but no one answered. After an hour, I called again and the same female answered saying that Mr. Rajkumar Parmar was on leave. I then called Ashok Malik on [protected] and my call was answered by some other executive saying that Malik was on leave and when I checked for Rajkumar, he said that he was in a meeting.

      IT IS HIGHTIME!!! I WAS TALKING TO A TEAM OF LIARS AND UNETHICAL EXECUTIVES UNTIL NOW. I WANT TO HIGHLIGHT THIS TO THE AUTHORITIES AND MAKE THEM AWARE THAT THEIR EXECUTIVES ARE GIVING FALSE COMMITMENTS TO CUSTOMERS AND HARASSING THEM. THIS EXPERIENCE HAS CERTAINLY LEFT ME WONDERING ABOUT THE CREDIBILITY OF “AIRTEL”. ARE THESE EXECUTIVES TRAINED TO LIE TO THEIR VALUABLE CUSTOMER? ARE THEY TRAINED TO DUPE THEIR CUSTOMERS? ARE THEY TRAINED TO HARASS THE CUTOMERS ?

      I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO TAKE ACTION AGAINST PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THIS MATTER – NAMELY ASHOK MALIK, ASHWANI GANDHI AND RAJKUMAR PARMAR. NOT ONLY I INCURRED MONETARY COST OF CALLING THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN AND LOSS OF 4500Rs BUT THE AMOUNT OF MENTAL PAIN AND STRESS THEY HAVE CAUSED IS IMMENSE. THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN TO ANY OTHER CUSTOMER.

      I HOPE PROPER ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN ON THIS MATTER AND A CONFIRMATION OF SETTLEMENT OF MY ACCOUNT WOULD BE PROVIDED TO ME .

      AirTel — NON-COMPLIANCE OF COMPLAINTS REGISTERED

      Dear Sir,
      I had applied for change of address and name, which earlier belonged to my mother who had taken under the corporate scheme. I have also submitted the authorisation letter by my mother alongwith the form given by Airtel customer center for change of details from previous to the present one. Inspite of the documentations duly submitted in August end at Vashi customer care centre Sector -17, stlll the issue is not complied. Kindly look into the matter ASAP and also request you to cancel the corporate scheme granted and convert them into the normal one. Else will be dissappointed to back out from Airtel service and use the other service providers which i do not honestly want to as i have been using this number for the past 5 yrs.

      Airtel — Consistant Registation failure

      Not able to register myself to view my bill.
      I am doubtful about the call and VAS charges and need to view the detailed bill. However not been able to register from last one week.
      My Sincere advice to Airtel: Please improve the quality of service, rather than paying crores of money to Sharukh Khan and all fancy marketing and advertisement, hoardings etc etc.

      Airtel — Non compliance of Airtel with NDNC

      Dear Sir,

      I am registered with NDNC since 27/08/2007 but still I am flooded with promotional SMSs and frequent calls for telemarketers. I would like to know how can I can lodge compain to TRAI against it. My Reference number is F[protected]. Today again I got call for Manhattan Credit Card from no [protected].       Airtel — CONSTANT FRAUD BY AIRTEL

      This is happening for the 5th time and I have no idea why AIRTEL engages in such fraudulent practices inspite repeated reminders.

      Earlier I had requested several times that JOKES, HELLO TUNES etc should not be automatically activated on my number without my permission and balance deducted.

      JOKES got enabled automatically without my authorization for past week and I am receiving messages from 53030 and balance being deducted automatically.

      I called customer service today 28/1/2011 at 12 noon and complained but they said we are unable to help and refund your amount.

      The primary objective of the National Do Not Call Registry (NDNC Registry) is to curb Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC). UCC has been defined as "any message, through telecommunications service, which is transmitted for the purpose of informing about, or soliciting or promoting any commercial transaction in relation to goods, investments or services which a subscriber opts not to receive, but, does not include, ----
      (i) any message (other than promotional message) relating to a service or financial transaction under a specific contract between the parties to such contract;or
      (ii) any messages relating to charities, national campaigns or natural calamities transmitted on the directions of the Government or agencies authorized by it for the said purpose;
      (iii) messages transmitted, on the directions of the Government or any authority or agency authorized by it, in the interest of the sovereignty and integrity of India, the security of the State, friendly relations with foreign States, public order, decency or morality."
      The NDNC Registry will be a data base having the list of all telephone numbers of the subscribers who do not want to receive UCC.After the establishment of NDNC registry, Telephone subscriber (Landline or mobile) who does not wish to receive UCC, can register their telephone number with their telecom service provider for inclusion in the NDNC. Telecom Service Provider shall upload the telephone number to the NDNC within 45 days of receipt. The Telemarketer will have to verify their calling telephone numbers list with the NDNC registry before making a call. To discourage the telemarketers who make calls to the numbers registered in Do Not Call List, a provision has been made whereby Rs.500/ - shall be payable by the telemarketer to the service provider for every first unsolicited commercial communication (UCC) and Rs.1000/- shall be payable for subsequent UCC. There is a provision for disconnection of the telemarketer telephone number / telecom resource if the UCC is sent even after levy of Rs.500/- & Rs.1000/- tariff. In case of non-compliance to the Telecom Unsolicited Commercial Communications Regulations, 2007, the Service Provider is also liable to pay an amount by way of financial disincentive, not exceeding Rs.5000/- for first non-compliance of the regulation and in case of second or subsequent such non-compliance, an amount not exceeding Rs.20, 000/- for each such non-compliance.
      For customers who would like to register/de-register their request for NDNC registry may dial 1909 or SMS to 1909 with keywords 'START DND' for registration and 'STOP DND' for de-registration

        My husband (Airtel number: [protected]) travelled to Chennai on Friday August 29, 2011. His GPRS network is not working since the network's gone on roaming. He has tried several times to call technical assistance to solve this problem. Even after following all instructions they have given, the GPRS hardly starts for 10 seconds every time he restarts and then shuts down.
        Not only is the Airtel staff not helping in this case, they don't even have a call back facility to call my husband and help sort out his problem. He's spending on roaming call charges every time he calls to even complain. I can't even believe that Airtel Technical assistance dept has no call back facility to handle complaints.
        Airtel has always been lax and casual in customer service. None of our complaints about lack of network or about billing have ever been handled, leave alone tackled. Their customer service executives are the worst, they can't even answer questions or doubts properly. And the only time they call customers is when they need to ask when we will pay our bills, a week before due date?
        When is Airtel going to wake up? After we have changed over to Vodafone?
        This is lousy service and it's clear from their behaviour how much they care about their customers.

        That what's all executives have been saying till now.
        sir, my mobile number is [protected],
        in my mobile many unwanted message come from you for example AD-54321. Some msgs comes from these two no's i.e., 54321003, 54321.these msgs deducted Rs. 3/- per msg. I have not sent any message on my number to activate these services and in last weak my balance deducted Rs:6/- Please Refund my balance and Stop these services

          Hi,

          I am using airtel unlimited plan or Rs 799 excluding of tax. From last four month my bill was ok but suddenly in july month bill i got detail that dsl usage charges add of Rs 200 and 100 rs deducted as a discount. my net bill for the month of july is rs 991 while i always got Rs 881 rs (including tax) . Every time 100 rs added as dsl usage charges but other side they deducted this amount as a discount i never pay this dsl usage charges. Can anyone tell if i am using unlimited plan than what is meaning of dsl usage charges in this??? what the meaning o[censored]nlimited plan if i have to pay extra charges to use internet??? I take this connection through airtel marketing executive of Mr sandeep and he didn't tell this thing when i take this braodband connection.

          Airtel Broadband — DSL USAGE NOT DISCOUNTED AS PER PLAN

          I have a problem with the Airtel Broadband bill generation since Sep 2011.

          DSL Usage have not been discounted for the last 3-4 months, for which respective adjustments are being done in the consecutive months.

          Due to which, I have raised SR in the month of Sep2011, But every month once the bill got generated, i am able to see the late fee and non-discounted DSL usage amount.

          And also, i am getting calls from Customer Care ([protected]) to pay the o/s 388 which i am not clear how could it be possible without knowing the exact correct amount.

          Please clarify on this.

          Airtel — Broadband bill is not as per the plan

          I have been using airtel broadband from airtel for more then 5 Years ,
          For last 8 months the bogus bill have been generated . After several request whne they correct the bill stuff two months back for 6 months and said this will not repeat in future but again same types of bills are generated for last two months .

          Looks Airtel customer care is not at all sensitive care of customer request and complaint now a days at all.

          Can I request some Airtel customer care officer to look into this and help to solve this issue .

            Hello Sir / Madam,
            Please forward this letter to your complaints department and concerning department. I have following complaint
            On July 21,2011, I had made request to shift my connection or My Indore MP office to new premises. I got confirmation that my connection will be shifted within 21 days of my request. But until now, My connection is neither been shifted nor your local office representatives are giving me proper timeline of shifting.
            Since I have to pay rent for both of my premises, I am getting loss of Rs. 15,000/- per month just because of not shifting of my connection.
            I am also not getting response from your customer care also. I am so much disappointed with the kind of service you are providing being a premier provider. I approached to BSNL and they gave me new connection with 3 days and now I am disconnecting my airtel connection. Sorry boss, your services are very poor and disappointing.
            Please forward this message to the concerning person and ask him / her to call me on the number / information given below.
            Being a customer of airtel for last 7 years, this is very disappointing. The BSNL persons worked so quickly and professionaly that I am glad to be thier customer inspite of that, your executives always repsonde that "System is under development / migration so this takes time.". Sir, I owns an IT company and a BPO and I know better that how much it is going to take for a system to be upgrade OR update. So do not think that customer is and knows nothing about technology.

              Airtel DTH — No Reply

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              My name is Sunil Panchal & my customer id [protected] & i lodged the complaint on 07/09/2010 at 21.50 for non working of set top box & signal problem , i spoke to your executive Mr. Vasu & i registered the my complaint (complaint no. 3785289). i requested to Mr. Vasu i want to talk any of your senior executive, but he told me within hour time u will get the call from our senior executive. i wait till night, but my luck too good & till moment i not received any call for my request.

              Today morning i got call of your engineer from mobile no.[protected] & he confirm the address & road route to come my home to check the problem, but till evening your engineer doesn't came & i called up your engineer again, he told me please give me 5 mints time i check with my team & give u call back. Around 20.30 again i called up your engineer 3-4 times but he not picked up the call & again i spoke to customer care to resolve my problem,please let me being airtel digital tv cutomer how much time i have to call on which no to get proper & fast solution to resolve my airtel digital tv problem,if my set top box will not work for 2-3 days than my account balance will deduct or not ? & if account balance will reduce than who will be responsible for that.

              I glad to inform that i m airtel digital tv customer from last 2-3 years & service i m getting from u people is excellent, b'coz i seeing the after every 6 months i must have to right the complaint mail for your service.please stop to distributing the new connection i[censored] people are not able to provide the one step solution on customer problem.

              Dear Sir,
              With reference to above captioned subject, we need to bring in your kind notice that from last 8 days the Set Top box RED colour LED is not glowing and nothing is appearing on TV screen.
              The unit is registered on my son name Mr. Vikash Kumar Sinha and his mobile No. [protected] the registered email ID # vikash.[protected]@gmail.com.
              Continuously we are complaining the issue to your company, but seems that your company is not taking it seriously, and not interested is solving the problems faced by your valued customer’s after selling the product.
              Who will compensate our losses of per day charges for a week time and the loneliness & harassment my family suffered?
              If the problem is not solved within 24 hours of this email, then we may move the case to consumer forum and ministry of telecast & broadcasting for which your company will remain solely responsible for any serious action taken by the departments.
              The negative attitude towards after sales service and supports reflects very poor services rendered by your company, which is great irritation to the customers, those who are using your products and services. Try to improve your after sales services, thus satisfying the customers.
              Kindly look into the matter and resolve it as earlier as possible and oblige.

              I called up to customer care so many times but they were not doing anything . I am very much anoid from your services airtel is a brand name that's why we choose this but thing is different here i must agree airtel service is very poor it's pathetic. Every time new people picked the call and take all the details but no solution?Last option is left to approach TRAI and Consumer Court .

              Airtel don't think about their customers at all .

              I want issue would be resolved on high priority.

                My name is Sawan
                I am an Airtel Subscriber from past 8 years ( Since i started my engineering in Computer Science). Used pre paid in past but from past 1 year i am using a post paid connection.

                I am a free lancer so have a lot of work with internet and phone.
                I took my post paid connection with airtel and activated all plans necessary. Normally i had my bills like 300 or 250. But after 3G came in existence I opted for a plan of 100Mb for 100Rs.
                Since this day i am facing the problem and the most renowned cell market is getting corrupt in my eyes (my friends went for Idea My Gang, but I continued with Airtel, and I am ashamed now)

                The month I opted for 3G, my bill was 1300/- , I called customer support and asked that my daily bill says that I have a bill of 350/- on midnight and next day says that i have bill of 1200/-, customer service told, "Sir IT WILL BE ADJUSTED IN THE BILL"

                My bill arrived and was of 1300/-
                Called customer service and Reply "Sir, by default, your AIRTEL LIVE service was activated so I am deactivating it" You charge me 100/- and call me to establish 3G on phone and then you tell me your Service was activated.
                Guy told me, I AM LOGGING A COMPLAIN AND YOU WILL RECEIVE A CALL BACK

                I never got a call back, i did not pay the bill and the next call I got was from recovery agent, I told him complain no. and he said "Please pay the bill and we will look into this".

                Paid and never got response

                NOW COMES THE REAL TROUBLE

                I applied for Airtel Internet
                Guy came to my house filled up the form and took the money
                Told me that please disconnect all the internet you have, it will cause problem. I am a computer engineer (Networking) so asked them, what the hell they are saying, they said that we are in FIELD work so we know better.

                I did as they had told, but 2 weeks passed Had no call from them, I called the person he said BOX at your location has troubles, will replace it and give you a call"

                I called customer service and they asked for CAF which i said is my room address,
                Person asked me it is wrong and need to confirm from the person who came at my place
                After a week I gave them a call and he said, POINTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE, WAIT FOR 2 months

                I called customer support, and they logged in a request for INTERNET CONNECTION.

                Guy came to my house and when i showed him the papers he said " THE GUY WHO FILED THIS IS FROM OUR OFFICE, I WILL CHECK AND LET YOU KNOW " I asked him about CAF No. He said " THIS IS ALL , WAIT FOR HALF AN HOUR"

                This time I had a Request No. so called customer support, next day I recived a call from Complains and he conference my call to the person who came at my place,
                I got Repply " You will get your money back, no box available"

                Now every day I get calls from complain department who say we are sorry

                JUST TELL ME ONE THING, I HAD MY INTERNET RUNNING FINE, WHY THE HELL THEY HAD TO TURN OFF MY INTERNET WHEN THERE WQAS NO BOX IN MY AREA, WHO WILL PAY 1500 NOW,

                I DONOT NEED THOSE 500 BACK, I NEED THAT INTERNET CONNECTION WHICH T HEY HAD PROMICED AND ALSO THIS 1500 FOR MY reestablished INTERNET CONNECTION

                THIS IS NOT DONE.

                If your box is not working, establish a new one

                AIRTEL should have a log of all connections and they should be updated of the fact that points are not available
                If not then this is cheating that you take money and tell after a month that we do not have points available so take your money back


                I donot want my money, no sorry, no calls, no internet, just an explanation of the fact, what is wrong?

                  Sir, I had paid Airtel TV Rs. 3700 on 21st June2010 to recharge my set-top box. The service was fine until Feb. 2011, when, stating 'negative balance' it was withdrawn. I had not made any correspondence with Airtel tv in this regard.
                  I was later informed that I would have to trace the source and identity of the caller. No-one at Airtel takes responsibility for what they agree 'could be' a human error at their customer service department in inputting my customer ID instead of the persons who apparently called in to take the balance out from his own account.
                  The fine folk at Airtel's customer care obviously are at their wits end. They asking me to "just get a new connection sir".

                  ."Yeah right, and use the ol' dish and stb for rain-water-harvesting ?!?!

                  Please sort this out Airtel. A company of your stature should take responsibility of the folly and irresponsible actions of it's staff and employees. Not wash its dirty, unethical hands off and CHEAT A COSUMER.

                    Hence, i am finally appeal to consumer forum where I feel, my concern will get adreessed properly.

But a small issues like this taking 5 days to resolve…I can’t believe..if at all it’s a lengthy process for you why you are harassing your customer by blocking the number. Ideally you should have activiated the no and once you have all details, resolve the issue amicably.

                    It’s my request please activate the no by today, otherwise any solution you provide after today, won’t be able to accept to me since its more than 4 days I have chasing up with you on the above mentioned no. also note that I have raised similar complaint on 27th july 2011 regarding my bill but no action has been taken sofar. So I have strong prove that I am not at fault and till date you were unable to give me a solution rather than forcing me to pay what you demand. That is why you blocked the no and saying customer is not contactable. It’s you duty to give some space to customer and address all customers concern rather than harassing him.

                    Waiting for a quick action on this pls.

                    I am not questioning on my current plan. My all concerns are about my earlier
                    plan and inflated bills.. since I was not getting the proper response earlier I
                    was forced to change my plan last month i.e 249. I was talking about my
                    previous plan.pls compare my old plan pre-transfer to my name and post plan
                    before we moved to 249..i am questioning on that, please recheck your billing
                    plan. Its not first time I was getting inflated bills. Hope you recall I was
                    raised concern in March also where my blackberry charges were getting added on
                    every month ie 2499¿finally which you agreed as mistake from your side and
                    reversed..but when I transfer my connection from corporate to my individual
                    a/c..again you changed the plan ie why inflated bills were recived from April
                    till June¿please recheck last 8 months and you will get a clarity.



                    No one from airtel is trying to understand problem but hurry in disconnect the
                    line which is easiest to way to harass a customer¿please understand I want a
                    permanent solution to rectify my problem unless I am ready to take legal action
                    against airtel.

                    Airtel Postpaid — no action by company on requests

                    I have 2 Airtel numbers :[protected] and [protected] in my firm's name SATYAM ESTATE.These were activated in september, 2008 under 'Airtel Jackpot 249' plan.
                    After one month, I requested for deactivation of no. [protected] as it was not to be used for 3 to 4 months.After several requests through calls and e-mails, I received a call from Mr.SURINDER RANA (Mob:[protected]).But he offered me that instead of cancelling, I will have to pay only Rs99/month (for maximum 3 months) and then no. will continue in the earlier plan 'Airtel Jackpot 249' and also the charge of Rs.99/ month will be adjusted in future bills.
                    But, it was not done by him and I was not aware of it.After 2 months, I came to know that the bill for no.[protected] has been added to my bill for no.[protected] as both numbers were combined by the company.Then, I tried to call Mr. SURINDER RANA several times, but his phone was not reachable.Then I called the Airtel appellate officer and he told me that nothing has been mentioned about Rs.99/ month offer.So, I requested to cancel the no. through many calls and e-mails.At last, it got cancelled on 6 Jan 2009 but the bill still shows in my number [protected]. And I should not be responsible to pay that bill amount.
                    In addition to this, I have not received any bill till now.My due date to pay bill is 21st of each month.So, my due date (21 Jan) has already passed but still I have not received the bill.And I cannot check it through my mobile as well as website login. It still shows the previous bill.I have made several requests to send bill.And in the mean time, they keep on adding late charges to my bill.
                    Also, I have requested many times to separate both numbers.Now, I have received a reply in which I have been asked to clear the bill first.I am ready to pay bill only for the used number [protected].And now this no. has no network since 22 Jan morning.

                    So, I request you to look into the matter and make Airtel to clear the bill for [protected] and generate bill only for number [protected].

                    This all has happened because of their customer service.I just can't get any request done.When I call customer care, they ask me to contact HR but there is no HR because this is not a company, this is our own business and I am the proprieter.When they ask me to visit Airtel Relationship Center(ARC), they do not accept the complaint.I went to ARC named Sheeba Tel on Jail Road, C-7, Fateh Nagar on 22 Jan 2009 and met Mr.MANOJ KUMAR but he did not accept the request and asked to fax it on [protected].I tried 3 times to fax it today, but it said "The number cannot be found".Also when I call nodal or appellate officer, they ask me to send e-mail and after sending it, I get the acknowledgement to get a revert back within 24 hrs but after 3 days when I call customer care, they say we can not see any mail at all.


                    I should not be responsible if they do not want to receive the requests or do not want to act after receiving it on time.I am not liable to pay that extra bill.

                    Please look into the matter as soon as possible because my number is not working. I cannot even receive incoming calls.

                    Airtel Postpaid Connection — No Network after repeated complaints

                    My name is Charanjeet Singh and i have 22 Airtel Connections for my self, partners and staff.

                    It is very unfortunate that after repeated complaints from all the 22 numbers about No network Coverage in my office we are not getting any response from Airtel.

                    I have given so many Emails to customer care and nodal officer but in vain.

                    It is more than two months we are repeatedly calling them for this issue.

                    Kindly let us know what has to be done.

                      AirTel — haven't processed submitted identity documents

                      I had purchased Airtel sim card 2 years back from a genuine Airtel outlet located at Kadri , Shivabagh, Mangalore. On the 4 Sep 2010, I received a call requesting me to resubmit my identity proof and a passport photo which I should stress was submitted at the time of purchase of the sim card. The reason behind this call was that a person by name of Theresa has been registered using my sim card. First off I cannot understand how can Airtel make such a error. It is beyond shock and complete carelessness on the part of the manager at the Airtel outlet in Kadri , Shivabagh. Anyhow , I went to the nearest store that being the Airtel outlet in Saibeen Complex , Lalbagh. This was on the 4th Sep 2010. I submitted required documents upon which a receipt was given to me. I hereby quote the APEF no : 20047469. Now I was assured the matter will be taken care of. Instead I have continued to receive calls and smses requesting me to resubmit. I assured the concerned person that I have submitted and have proof. I was then told it will be updated in their systems. This has never happened as I still continue to recieve smses. I ask you is this what you call speedy action to cover up a huge error created and prolonged by Airtel. Please do take up the matter and resolve ASAP.

                      With due respected i a customer of Airtel cellular company pvt ltd , having mob no:-[protected](Name:-Manas kumar sahu),beg to state that i applied to change my cellular comp.                       Aircel — change to portability

                      aircel customer care are not responding about of change to prepaid from pospaid for a past 10 months.They are not given a alternate chance for changing prepaid. So, i want to portability from AIRCEL.
                      Do this from your Aircel SIM
                      1. Send a message as PORT <space> to 1900 [Toll Free].
                      Eg: PORT [protected] and send this message to 1900.

                      2. You will receive a UPC Code in message. Note it down.

                      3. Now goto the nearest Customer service center (or Retailers) of Network you want to shift. (for ex, if you are shifting from X toY network, Goto Y’s Customer Center).

                      4. Fill the Form and pay Rs. 19. In the form You have to mention UPC Code ( From Step 2). Submit your Photo & Address Proof.

                      5. The customer center will give a new Empty sim.

                      6. With in 24 Hrs you will receive an Acceptance Message to Confirm the Porting (for your old sim). Then You have to Agree with that by replying to the Message.

                      7. In the next 24 hrs you will get a another mssg (for your old sim) to select a 2hrs time slot.
                      In this time your number will not work because the porting process will be done at this time. So give a 2hrs time which is convinient for you.

                      8. After this 2hrs the new sim (From Step 5) will work.

                      9. Insert the new sim in your phone, Now You are in the new network with old number.

                        Hi,

                        I applied for a new Broadband connection on 15th July 11. I was being told that the advance amount would be Rs.1000/- which I paid.

                        The executive told me that the line will be activated in two weeks from the
                        date I paid the amount.

                        But when I called the customer care two days back the executive "Asha" told me that installation & activation will be done by 27th, but nothing happened.

                        When I called the customer care again on. 28th July'11 another executive told me that your application is rejected & the connection cannot be provided in my locality due to some technical reasons.

                        And again when I called the customer care representatives (called on [protected]) named "ASHA", "HEMA", "SARITA" & one more guy are telling me that you can't get the connection due to some technical reasons.

                        I am fine, if I don't get the connection but the excuse what they are telling is that in order to meet the sales target the sales executive "SANTHOSH" must not have informed you about the technical issues, this excuse is not at all acceptable and adding to the misery the last person whom I had a talk with disconnected my call in between.

                        264327 is the customer enrollment form no which has been given to me.

                        I just wanted to know, why the same has not been communicated to me by the executive?????

                        The executive who approached me for the new connection is not responding to my calls now.

                            My documents are misused by the company by exchanging them with someone and issuing sims with different names. Even after several complains and repeated request, there is no response. I am feeling extremely depressed that the person may mis use the Prepaid connection which is registered with my name and I may not get the benifits of my Prepaid connection Which is not yet registered with my name even after submitting three times.

                                I have been facing problems in porting out, from Airtel to Vodafone since last 2 months.I have applied twice for porting out, and everytime they reject the my Portout request for no reason. FInally they gave me a answer that, I cannot port out because I am in a CUG.
                                I dont understand, how do this Airtel people find these reasons.

                                my airtel mobile number is [protected].Airtel deducted my balance without my knowledge and information.after that i was applying for mobile number port out.then from Airtel one of their executive call me and told me to stay with Airtel.but i dont want to stay with airtel any more and they not releasing my portout.everyday i recharge a certain amount they deducted slowly by surely.when ever i call customer care they have different stories to tell me.

                                        I got recharges my airtel prepaid mobile no [protected] from a shop for Rs 299/- and I got only Rs. 1/- .The recharge was done on 22.08.2011 at 09:54 pm and trans id is[protected].I got an SMS the same afternon "recharge with 299/- and get full talktime.Offer valid for 30 days". Henceforth I recharged it for Rs 299/-. It happend with me twice, is this the policy of airtel to cheat their customers if yes should is switch to any other network and leave airtel. I belive that you will revert on this issue on very urgent basis, and will return balance into my mobile number
                                        Kindly refund my amount back or I shall report the matter to senior authority.
