Good Evening..,

1. I recharge my mobile via website (www.airtel.in) on[protected], but recharge was unsuccessful message will be displayed. at the second i call customer care. they will not respond. i will 2 or 3 times they didn't responds please help me and refund my account. i will attach the copy of the image for your displayed (airtel1.jpg)

2. 2 week after i will recharge second time of same website on 01.07.2013, they same message will be displayed and i will call customer care. they told ur amount will be credited in 72 hours, but still now, no amount will be credited. after 72 hours i will call that customer care no respond for that. i will attach the copy of the image for your displayed (airtel2.jpg)

    Hi,

    I have purchased a new 3g Data card connection through airtel in NCR for 1520 rupees for a 3G postpaid plan of 850.
    Till now the services have not been activated, even though the address verification and on call verification has been done to activate the device.
    I have purchased the device for a urgent corporate travel need, mentioning it should be activated asap.

    I have been really disappointed with the attitude with which the issue is being handled.

    Request you to look into the problem asap, either change the device if its a problem or activate it asap as I need it working tonight before my travel.
    My device phone number is [protected] and IMEI number is [protected] . There are no signals, and i am not sure if i need to change some network settings also.

    Customer care department is saying the device is activated at their end, even though I cannot access internet.

    I keep getting the message"You can't connect before register an available network" when I click on Connect button.

    If there is further delay you foresee in resolving this problem, please take back the device and revert the money as its difficult for me to keep following up with your department every now and then.

    AirTel — Card Activation problem

    I brought two airtel cards..(one for 100 and one for 150 from two different shops) but both of them dont get activated.. i contacted with the customer care.. they said to recharge.. so i recharged it with 250(1month validaty and Rs.97 talktime).. but still i received the problem. again i contacted the customer care.. they said that the shop keeper should activate it.. i went to the shopkeeper.. he said i activated.. there is a problem with the card.. so you contact the airtel... both of them are pointing each other.. but i dont got any solution for it... i wasted nearly Rs. 1000 for the cards.. but till now no solution...
    i am chandrashekhar bopche, date 02/02/2010 i buy a TOP-UP of Rs 30/- and just scratchd. After scratching the 14 digits number was not looking clearly but i try 5-10 time with different 14 digits number and maximum time i got the message that this no is not valid but 2 or 3 time i got that this voucher is already used. so on 03/02/2010 i just call to customer care executive and she told me that this topup is already used on 02 o'clock of 02/feb/2010 but i not get the money in my account. so please provide me the satisfied solution for it so that i always be a customer of airtel.

    AirTel — Not activating 3G

    I am trying to activate a 3G service on my airtel prepaid card since 19th Aug 2011. But unfortunately I haven't got it activated.
    My Airtel # [protected], Pulkit Patel.
    I called Airtel CC about 25times, spent hours to talk and explain problems, but nobody was able to help me. I visit Airtel CC office to seek help they said its problem in my simcard, they changed sim yet problem is excisting. I want 3G service, which they are providing to all users on request. CC filed two complaints for this issue, but none of them were resolved as of today, after 7days. They said our team will contact you within 24 hrs, but NO CALL from Airtel yet regarding my this issue(Seems NO CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION). Emailed to Nodal officer and Appellate Officer to urge for solution. No even they seems not caring about Their customer problems. Airtel you Sick..Giving you two days or you will loose a Loyal customer who wanted to be with you airtel for yrs. One more thing that Educate your representative of Airtel Customer [protected]@SG highway , Ahmedabad. They don't even know that 3G could be activated with SMS "3G" on "121". Two employees where telling me the same thing. One more was supporting them. Then I showed them PrEvious SMS eventhough they were telling that it you cant activate 3G via SMS. AIRTEL, YOU NEED TO INVEST MORE ON BETTER AND ENOUGH EDUCATED STAFF TO HELP CUSTOMER, DONT LET CUSTOMER TO TEACH UR TECHNOLOGY TO UR EMPLOYEE.

    AirTel — 3g data plan is not activated

    i have been trying from last 12 days to get the airtel 3g service with 451 plan .in that they provide 1200mb . i started to apply for this plan from 28 october 2011 . and till now i haven't get this services . have been called to customer care more than 30 times and i have got everytime same message that you will get a confirmation mail with four hours ,but like these four hours haven't come from last 12 days .i have all the request no what they provide me after talking to customer care

        The company is biggest fraid...whenever i use my internet package with balance on my phone the company automatically deducts 20 or sometimes 15 rupees but if my balance is emptly there is no deduction ...it reads that u have been deducted 20 , 15 for some animation or picures downloads which i never download and niether does the dwnld happens ...when i talk to customer carw they always prove wrong they say u might have clicked some button...first for 3 to 4 times i ignored it but then i checked it happens only the times i m using net and i have talktime balance....it already happened more than 10 times with me... and i have seen simliar complains from other customers around me and even in your forum...company is the biggest fraud

        AirTel — Deduction of balance by fraud

        I was doing internet using Airtel nop on 5.8.2009. I was trying to download a free game from www.waptrick.com. Suddenly Rs 99 was deducted from my balance. I contacted customer care but of no avail. Please help me get back my balance.

        World biggest froud network provider.
        I was using airtel billing. I am from mumbai.
        I go in my home villege. So there r not network. There i can not pay bill amount because i am in villege.
        So after some my incoming and outgoing r stop.
        I come at mumbai and paid 1500 Rs bill amount.([protected])
        In The gallary they say u r numbe runing after 4 day.
        After the many try my number r not activated.
        They r said ur number r permonenat disconnected.
        I lose my all contact.
        There r not any resposible person.

        AirTel — Fraudulently deduction

        My name is deen dayal and my phone no.is [protected](Airtel prepaid).I m a loyal customer of airtel since last four years.But from the last two months the airtel people are deducting from my account falsely activating services which i never asked to do so.Some unwanted deduction are:

        1)Deduction of Rs 99 (Pretext of deduction is downloading of cricket champion trophy which i never ever asked for.

        2)Deduction of 30 rs on the pretext of friend chat activation.

        3)After four days 20 rs will be deducted for tadka live(Never demanded)

        Please look into the matter and unearth a budding scam.

        Airtel — Fraud deduction from my prepaid card balance..

        Hi,
        My name is Bijal Shah

        I am using AirTel prepaid connection past 7 years.
        Every month they make unnecessary deduction from my prepaid balance without any prior notification msg.

        I have complained several times to the Airtel customer care stating “send prior notice before the deduction but it’s in vain...
        On 23rd Jan 2011 morning all of sudden my account balance was nil...as the balance was very low(50rs) I did not bother to call and confirm. And on same day I recharged 375 Rs within the span of 2 hours my account was once again nil...this time I called the customer care to confirm the reason, but they were not aware as there system was not updated. On there advice I yet again recharged of 60rs...So that I can at least make outgoing calls... they assured me that they will refund my amount by mid-night...Evn that amount zilch after some time. I waited 3 long days to get my wrongly deducted balance refunded from them.
        I am really very disappointed with the kind of handling and hoax that has been done to me

        AirTel — FRAUDULENT DEDUCTION

        I AM A AIRTEL PREPAID SUBCRIBER WITH NO. [protected]. On 1st December I subscribed to Rs.98 Internet pack and since that the sim was used for internet browsing only and not for any phone calls, with the micromax modem.
        But strangely on 21st December 2010 when I checked the balance, my
        balance is Rs.02. Earlier on 19/12/2010 my balance was around Rs.155/-contacting customer care my number was blocked to 198. I again tried to reason with them from another phone no.[protected],same thing was done.It is surprising
        that when for the whole period from 1/12/10-20/11/10 my SIM was in Airtel micromax USB modem how could I phone or subscribe to some service and my balance of Rs.155/- got deducted.In response Airtel stated that there is no provision of automatic renewal of GPRS package and my balance was deducted for per Kb surfing charges after exhausting my 2GB limit. Now see what happened I was using the Rs.98/- pack on [protected] and it was valid upto 20/01/2011 but on this date after exhausting my limit, without my consenting or sending request, Rs.35/- was deducted from my account and I was given 500Mb usage uptill 26/1/2011. On contacting 198, the customer care executive as usual talked in a very ill-mannered way and told that I have myself subscribed to this pack. I told him that this not possible as my SIM is in modem where you cannot subscribe. But he didn't agree and kept insisting his story. My submission is that there is provision for renewing automatically then why original complaint for [protected] stands i.e. why couldn't my GPRS package be renewed for 98/-when my balance was more than Rs150/-. Is it not that it was a cheap business practise on part of Airtel to deduct per Kb charges when automatic renewal is a factual practise as is evident above.

        AirTel — about balance deduction

        I had activated Airtel internet plan worth Rs. 98/month, 2 GB but still while browsing, sometimes my talktime balance is deducted without prior information that i can be charged for viewing the contents. in this way my 40 Rs. balance was deducted without anything being opened. prior notification is must before deducting balance. coz first time user can not know which click may charge. and they are also charging for unsuccessful downloads. terms & condition page never been opened. kindly look into the matter and get me my money (deducted balance) back.

        i have been suffering from the balance deduction of my cell provider Airtel compony last two months, and have complained to their customer care centres but in vain they are not hedding even, not taking any proper action to solve the problem.
        i am tired of facing such cheating, and lastly came to you to get justice of my complaint.
        i am giving my recently complaint numbers given by customer care CBDCC[protected] dated 25.2.2011,and CBDAL[protected] dated 2.3.2011.

        AirTel — fraud's of Airtel

        Wrong amount decrement issue

        airtel deduct 0.30 paise occasionally without any reason as we complaint return it , but how many time we look at the matter.

        0.30 paise is very low denomination hence nobody cares, but its generate huge amount. Every hour and half and hour 0.30 paise deduct.

        Since last 3 days I M instantly trying 121 and 198, but cant able to speak to customer care executive, they people smartly divert their ivr system, the message will hear at the end that "please dial *121# to activate or deactivate any service : which totaly illogical and illegal.

        Most important no executive and officer giving proper response., even many times they simply disconnect the call and pretend that due network call got drop, which is not true
        i receive call, but not legible and arrogantly disconnect the call

        AirTel — Fraudulence

        I have a complaint against airtel that they have been deducting money from my account for the services being activated which I never do, when I call the customer care they rarely behave properly as they are not bothered about their customers and always deny to refund the money. For some instances I ignored this however it has become a regular phenomenon with airtel, every now and then they activate some kind of service by themselves and deduct money. I am mighty upset with them and I know they hardly care about this. I am now going to change my subscriber and get Vodafone, even though I know they are also no different. I would request some organisation or government to take severe action against AIRTEL. Otherwise consumers like us will keep suffering. If airtel is least bothered they can check the details of my airtel no. [protected].

        Dear Rakesh Ranga,

        I am glad to see your acknowledgement on this, atleast AIRTEL is bothered to check the complaints, though I am not sure what kind of resolution will I get on this as even after getting your response the money has been deducted from my account once again for some stupid service being activated through Airtel Live which again I did not do. I am really hoping to see your response on this now.

        AirTel — Fraud fraud fraud

        rs 14 was deducted fromy account on 31 aug in night. I complaind about this, but they said that i started a plan for bollywood gossip, but i never did,nt do that... They all are fraud, airtel always find new tricks to cheat the custoumers and cust. Care cant give any type of helpful response. Now i want to portable my no., this airtel go to hell...

        Sir this is Madan Barman I have a complain against some number .some calls from the number[protected] and[protected] told me that I had won Rupees five lakhs and ask me to recharge some of the given by them the number are; [protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected],[protect... And I had recharge these around rupees ten thousand. Sir what should I do now to get back the money please help.

        This request is regarding my landline connection of Airtel which I was using since last 2 years. I have shifted my place to my new place which is located in the same socity. Giving below the brife details for easy understanding of my last comunication held with Airtel customer care:--

        I have a big big issue for shifting my connection on my new address.. So many complain's request's already login but my problem not solve till today. I am chasing since 5th Nov but thr is soluction for my problem. I even did not received a call from airtel to know how much i am miserable due to all following delay. I really want some one to see the complete story of my journey with airtel since i made first req for shifting:-
        1- I made the req on 1st week of nov to shift my connection from old flat to new flat which is in the same socity.
        2- I have informed my airtel that my new flat area is not suitable for airtel connection so shiffting will not be possible. Ok
        3- I have informed by airtel that as area is not feasible so my connection will be disconnected. Pls mark Airtel said not me that connection will be DISCONNECTED.
        4- after only 3 days I have meet a guy who was from Airtel it self came to my place and offered my new connection of airtel at my new home. Wow i got surprised and i inform him that i come to know that dis area is not suitable for conn so how u will offer. He said no i can gv u at your add in 3 days time even free of cost i[censored] want as u already have modem & all. I req again him to arrange my old conn only he denied for that.
        4- I again inform cust care for this and my inspection of area re-arranged.
        5- now dis time area got suitable for airtel. How dont know?
        6- request again log in.. Person came for wring..done his job.. Again next day person came for dialtone did his job but wrong as he has given me wrong no dialtone which is still running with me what to do for that.
        7- After all dis my work got stopped at suddenly i got a call from airtel that i have some overdue of amount 1365 rs and till the time dis will not be paid my connection will not be started as my incoming also stopped.
        8- ok i have done payment even of rs 1300 but after that also till today my phone not working and massage coming temp out of order.
        9- i got a call from airtel 2 days back that my servises has been started so incoming & outgoing will be started. But as advised that is still now started.
        10- i made so many req compain but no one is thr to help me.
        So now after dis long story for just a small thing to shift my connection pls advise what u will do i[censored] will be in my place. My servise is stopped since first week of nov what shd i do.. Pls i[censored] guys want me to come any whr for begging pls so let me know as my fault is only dis that i am a 2 years old customer of airtel.

          he companys unending fraudulent activities shall never end. Here it comes with a new scheme, if at all ur a airtel customer or ur trying to be one, do know abt this? Never use the internet (or so called subscribed packet data) when u have large amount of balance. I[censored]r using the so called data pack, ur entire balance will be taken away before the data is over. If that is not enough further, the care personnel will prove u wrong for complaining by saying they have no track of such debits.

          Airtel Mobile — dishonest service

          I had subscribed to airtel mobile number [protected] under the name of
          sudhindra krishnaswami kumar for the past 1 year. However it has not been used much and my wife was away and did not use it for few months. For the past 1 month or the sim registration has failed and my complaints to airtel local offcie here in Bangalore went in vain.
          Two weeks ago they told me that the number is cancelled and the number has gone to recycling and and I need to get a new number.
          There was also unused credit for Rs. 150 or more and they told me it
          is gone to airtel funds..
          My question is:

          Why did airtel not inform the customer they were disconnecting ?
          Why is the funds not credited back to the customer since all the
          address verification is already done by Airtel.
          This I believe is an unfair practice and I my attempts to contact the Ombudsman at airtel did not materialize as the e mail ID airtel has listed does not exist
          I want to get back back my original number - [protected] and the credit that exists in the account.
          If I fail to get justice I plan to go to consumer court and also
          register my complaint against Airtel with TRAI.
          I look forward to my queries being responded.

            Hi,

            I tried to recharge on my airtel prepaid account to add 3G data pack for 1GB. It costs INR 255. I made an attempt to recharge this amount using my talktime balance on my prepaid account which failed. Hence I recharged the same amount using my debit card and it went successful. However the amount was deducted from my prepaid balance as well.

            In online transaction history airtel shows that the recharge from my prepaid account balance failed. However the amount was not credited back into my prepaid account balance.

            I tried reaching the customer care to get this addressed, but they dropped the call when I mentioned the exact issue which they could also see in their records. I never received a call back from them.

            lifetime prepaid — FORCIBLE DEDUCTION

            I declare that I have not subscribed for any background music from your company or from any concerned and the regular monthly deduction of Rs.30/- from my prepaid account no.[protected] is arbitrary and illegal. Since the last one month, I am requesting the customer care centers available through my phone and personally also, but to no avail. I am actually tense as I had to manage with my balance for six months. It has resulted in loss of study and mental agony. Therefore, i request you to restore the deducted amount and make good the losses or else I would request my father to take up the matter with appropriate authority.

            AirTel — Deducted amount

            Airtel Customer care executives are gundas & they are acting like terror with public.
            Example : You are keeping all customers record, but we can not trace to customer care executives of any number from executives are calling to us. Why ?

            They are using with us bad word, debiting amount using his power. But we cant do anything against him, even can not trace them.
            Incidents with Me as below :
            I have started Miss Call Alert on my no. [protected] on 23rd September 2008, Service started immediately and amount debited in advance Rs. 15/- but till today that not received any miss call alert. When I switch off my phone, at that time some is calling to me, they are getting reply “Call rejected”
            Yesterday i.e 5th October 2008, I had called at 5.05 PM & 5.17 pm to customer care executive Mr. Imran regarding above, he has used bad word with me Debited 30/- rs. For that call, in any way. Again called, again they have debited rs. 30/-.
            You can check my conversation with Customer Care executive & also Check my call log. You will justify who is rong & who is right.
            Requesting to immediate refund of following Amount :
            Rs. 30/- Debited by customer care executive on 5.05 Pm on 5/10/2008
            Rs. 30/- Debited by customer care executive on 5.17 Pm on 5/10/2008

            AirTel — Deduction of Recharge Amount

            Hi Sir,
            With Respect I would like to inform you that from my mobile an amount of 30/-Rs has been deducted.
            From further query to nearest customer service at katrash garh, (Dhanbad) ( JHARKHAND) they used to tell us that nothing has been activated from ur mobile so u must ask from cust-ser-centre (198).

            On there they used to tell me that upto whenever the Indai series match will go ur 5/- Rs will be deducted per match.

            Is this the way to earn or make fool the customer.


            So Sir, I request u to take an action against it, credit the amount of Rs 30/- ([protected])
            otherwise i will go ahead. Waiting for ur reply early.

            Bharti Airtel Prepaid Mobile Service — REG. RECOVERY OF AMOUNT FROM MY PREPAID ACCOUNT

            Respected Sir,

            I am receiving a joke daily on my mobile No.[protected] through SMS and on account of which @Rs.1/- being recovered by the Airtel mobile company. I have not activated such type of scheme. The scheme has been activated the the Company automatically. I have talked with costomer care several time but no any action has been taken so far. Since such action will be continued I will disconnect the connection of Airtel prepaid including my 10 relatives who also use the airtel prepaid. I want to return my recovered amount in my prepaid account.

            Airtel Prepaid Card — Forcible deduction of amount from account.

            I have an Airtel prepaid card that I purchased in Kolhapur (Maharashtra). Its a lifetime prepaid card. I have to travel to many domestic locations for official business. Presently I am in Baroda (Gujrat). I got a message from Airtel on 17.08.2009 saying that Rs.10/- have been deducted from my account for some sort of subscription. I did not subscribe to any such service and I feel that this is an attempt made by Airtel to earn some extra cash.

            The reason I am saying this is that, I have faced this problem every time I am on roaming or in other state. This incident also occurred when I was in Chennai (Tamil Nadu), when I received several SMS from Airtel at 3.00 a.m in the night, with every SMS costing me Rs.1/-.

            This means everytime I am on roaming, Airtel activates some schemes on the my number and charges me for them. If I call the customer care, still I am in loss because every outgoing call costs me Rs.1.50/-. So, I am in NO WIN situation everytime this happens and Airtel manages to earn profit.

            I bet this happens to many other Airtel customers and Airtel is making huge ..huge profits from this. I would like to sue Airtel for this.

            Airtel — Airtel GPRS Deducting full Recharge money

            Hi,

            Airtel cheats thousands of consumers with the advantage of inadequate information.
            GPRS was auto migrated to volume based internet connection deducting 200 Rs instead of 20Rs.
            And every single CSR in Airtel is proudly explaining their charges.
            Every where the max is (30 Rs/Hr) for internet usage.
            But Airtel MO deducted 200 Rs for just few minutes browsing this is ridiculous.


            I need a solution ASAP from Airtel for cleverly cheating thousands of consumers

            hello, I have airtail prepaid card no.[protected], (life time plan) from last month automatically debited Rs.1.50 per day from my prepaid balance against INR. What is this INR ? and why debited amount from my balance without any call. And what I can do?

            Airtel Prepaid — unnecessary deduction in recharge amount

            My Airtel prepaid No.os [protected], They are deduction Rs.15/- per month for Missed call alert. I have already informed them not to deduct the amount for that because I don't need that service. To day they have deducted another Rs.30/- for friends chat on line without any intimation. This is really very bad from their part. Kindly ask them not to do this kind o[censored]nwanted deductions. Ask them to return my money. If they cannot five that amount we want to change phone service from them
            It is really very very bad Air Tel. They are not suppose to cut balance without confirmation form the customer. If customer doesn't want means, you shouldn't deduct a single paise form them. This kind of acts will loose your reputation and name.

            Airtel Prepaid — Low Amount Credited against a Recharge

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            A message was received from Airtel that on Rs150 recharge I will be paid Rs150 full talktime.Rs135.99 will be paid immidiately and the remaining within 48 hrs.

            But I have not received the remaining amount till now.I have only received only Rs.135.99.

            On calling up the customer care the customer care executives were very rude in the case.1st time when I called up the executive just listened and told the he is registering a complain and disconnected the line without providing any complain number.On 2nd occassion the customer care executive put the call on hold telling she is checking and disconnected the line after 5mins.

            I recharged my number for Rs.50 on last friday(26 Feb 2010) and today my balance turned to Rs.9.12.

            I've hardly made local calls and really doesnt have any idea how come my amount was deducted and also for what reason?

            For the last 1 year airtel is deducting my balance. Wen i call to customer care they always give different reasons every time and say apna koi button daba diya hoga. At present it is charging balance of my main account for message sending despite of message tarrif of 50 rupees. Plz do something. I hv lost around 500 rupees without using any service in last 1 year. They also say that i hv forward ur complaint, u will get ur balance within 2 days, but have not got any balance back till now.             Airtel — Inappropriate deduction made from prepaid mobile account

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I have made a call at 10:28 AM on 26 April 2012. The opening balance was Rs. 61/= before the call made. For the call made of 22:30 minutes the AIRTEL has deducted Rs 34/= what seems to be inappropriate as per the rates of AIRTEL.
            Further instead of showing the balance Rs 27/= (61-34), it has shown the balance Rs 22.31.
            In the incidence I am unable to understand the rate at which the company charge and above all how the difference in balance appear after the call.
            You are requested to get the error rectified and direct the AIRTEL to refund the amount over charged.

            This is in regard of the amount viz., Rs 500 deducted from my number. I recharged my no. from airtel.in for Rs 500 but it said transaction not processed and didn't recharged my account but when i checked my bank account it was deducted by airtel for which i have receipt as well. Although due to some format issue i can't attach it here as it is in txt format. This happened on 24 May and on 28 May i received a message that amount deducted will be refunded within 4 days but nothing like this happened. Till now i have called them almost daily but no one took any action. I am fed up of all this. I just need help in this regard and need compensation for all this. Please Help!

                We are staying at Kukatpally area, one of our tenant used to be Airtel Customer on February he vacated the house and left for Bangalore. Before leaving he told he is leaving for Bangalore, but there after he did not confirm his address and Phone number which is unwanted to us, because it is unnecessary for us to have his details.

                But the Airtel Collection Executives and Tele Executives especially one Priya from Airte ([protected])l.She called to my number and asking me the details of our tenant which we dont know once he left. This we have explained when the collection executives are coming to us. Instead they are coming and harassing our aged parents. And the executive is calling me at unwanted timings. When we told that we dont know any details of him why these people are coming and harassing us. And how can a executive can call from the call data sheet of the customer and call me. This is absolutely trespassing privacy of the people, especially mine.

                Let the airtel and his customer solve the issue among themselves why they are harassing us. I Kindly request the airtel solve the issue with its client using his email id and dont harass us. As they are troubling our aged parents if anything happens they are answerable for the untoward incident.

                AirTel — Airtel is really harrasing

                Sometime back, I was an Airtel touchtel landline customer for about a year. I was shifting my residence and wanted to have my Airtel landline disconnected. I gave Airtel 2 months advance notice.

                Till the last day, they did not disconnect my phone and were pressurizing me to retain the connection. They also sent an inflated last bill to me, which I had to pay.

                Airtel is surviving due to heavy advertising which lure customers to take Airtel’s services. Otherwise, their business practices and customer services is very low class.

                I had activated of 69rs tariff Boucher on 18 October in my mobile. My mobile no is [protected]. But toady is 24octover my tariff Boucher not activate I have been paid full call rate. I had already two times complained to Airtel customer care regarding this problem. They are saying that this problem solved in 24 hours but my problem not solved that’s why I am mailing to you.                 AirTel — HARRASMENT TO CONSUMERS

                I have been using airtel landline+broadband no.4110072 at vasundhara ghaziabad, past 2.5 years and regularly paying my monthly bill.I paid my bill for the month of July 2008 for Rs.1026/-.Most of the times the person from Airtel collected the payment from home either in cash or by cheque.

                On 19/19/2008 I paid CASH payment of Rs.800/- towards the bill for August 2008 and the payment in cash was collected by the person from Airtel after confirming over phone by some one from their office.The person issued a receipt for such payment.(Reciept No. 632534)

                I got the bill for the month of Sept.008 but the cash paid for August was not reflected.I asked to the person calling from thier call centre about such cash payment not reflecting in my account.They asked me to submit the copy of the last receipt and asked me to make payment for the month's bill and told me that if I make payment before September 2008 they would correct my account and next bill would be correct one.

                Similarly they felt sorry for the month of October 2008 too and asked me to make payment for October when I denied payment for want of correction.Again and again the same story but no one corrdcted by bill.

                I made all my payments till December 2008 .

                When I got my bill for the month of January 2008 I shocked to see an amount of Rs.1900/- showing outstanding.Again they wanted me to make payment but I refused and asked to disconnect immediately.Whole through the month my phone line remain disconnected.Lastly, I got a call from some Swati from Noida Head office for the payment and refused to make payment unless I get the final bill till date to settle my account after all corrections.

                Next day on 09/02/2008, Ms.swati told me that my account has been updated and I have to make a payment of Rs.594/- after deducting Rs.800 for the month of August and the rental for the month of January.I agreed to that to settle my account.I also asked for the final bill but they assured me that in theer system They can not do it now but their billing department would correct as the reuest has already been submitted for correction.

                I made payment on their assurance for Rs.594/- on 10/02/2009 but today when I called to airtel if my phone has been disconnected thay answered me that the disconnection is due to non-payment of Rs.1300/-(approx.)
                I told them that I was asked to pay Rs.594/-as I did then why its been delayed.They answer was "we dont know who has updated your account please provide their personal phone number so that we can trace"

                What would be the answer for those inefficient/fraud AIRTEL staff.

                Airtel — Airtel harrasment calls

                Dear Sir/Madam

                This is regarding my Airtel Broadband connection (#[protected])
                I paid my Decemeber bill(Rs 1102/-) to a Airtel representative. He came to my house for bill payment collection but didn't bring the Reciept book and assured me that he would handover the reciept very soon
                I also handover to him the application for discontinuation of broadband

                Neither the payment was made nor the application was submitted to Airtel office..
                I got a bill of (Rs 2254/-) in Feb i.e. combined bill of Jan and Dec(Rs1152 due to non payment a late fees was also added)

                I paid only the Jan bill + Rs50 and asked the Airtel customer care to kindly discontinue the broadband

                Since then,
                I am being harrassed with N no. of calls each and evry day asking for bill payment which I have already done

                My number is discontinued - (As per Airtel it's because of Non Payment)


                Kindly look into the matter and do the needful

                Hi,

                This is regarding Airtel’s repeated calls for making payment for the disconnected landline phone.
                I cleared all dues without a single penny pending just before the request submitted to Airtel and then I asked for the disconnection. As per the Airtel policy they will take ten days to disconnect landline connection from the date of request for dis- connection. Meantime I have to pay for those ten days on pro-rata basis. But now they are torturing me by forcing me to pay for entire month for services i.e. 1155/- which I have not availed at all.

                I do not know on what basis this INR 1155/- calculated. This is the whole month charge amount and this is for the month of disconnection.

                So as per the Airtel executive the disconnection will take 10 days from the day of request for the disconnection. Even if we calculate on pro rate basis, the amount for 10 says is INR 372.58/-(Three hundred seventy two and paisa fifty eight only). How the hell on the earth Airtel is asking me to pay 1155/- and appoint some rude collection agency people.

                I have deposited some amount during the connection of this land line connection. In return Airtel has to pay some amount to me considering the advance deposit I have made.

                  I am using Airtel Postpaid services No:[protected]. My bill plan name is Future Value 299 plan bearing Rs.299 rental. Apart from this, I have activated Rs.150 mobile internet data plan which gives 500MB of 2G and 500MB of 3G. I have activated this plan on[protected] and my bill generates on[protected]. I have called Airtel Customer Care whether I can use 500MB+500MB within[protected], They have told me that i can use all 500MB+500MB data for Rs.150 before[protected] and it will not be billed separately. Now they have billed my internet usage separately and the internet data which i have used is not coming under Rs.150 mobile internet data plan. This has resulted in a very expensive bill for me. I have proceeded to use the internet data only after the Customer care people told me to use it. I could not find where is my fault in it but I am burdened with a very huge bill.

                  I am Jainab, one of the airtel internet users. I am in great problem of billing.
                  I want to explain everything in detail.

                  Main pahle sify broadband use karti thi jiska monthly pay 450 hota tha, every month mujhe 150 zayada dena padta tha kyonki main zayada internet use nahin karti, mujhe time bahoot kam milta tha, jitna use main us time karti thi, ab bhi utna hi use karti hoon lekin mera pahle mahena ka bill 3000 aaya aur doosra mahine ka tisre month ka 7000 ka bill aaya hai, mera ph no[protected] hai,

                  Mujhe Mr rawat jo aapke airtel connection main kaam karte hain unhone connection lene se pahle kaha tha 555 ka plan le lijiye aur aapke ek mahine main jitna bhi use hoga, doosre mahine 555 se jo hi amount bachega next month main chale jayega.

                  But now I am in great problem of 7000 rupees bill,

                  My use did not change but the amount is very very huge. I had complained to Mr rawat the airtel agent, main ne jab unko bill dikhaya to wo bill le ke hi chale gaye aur wapas koi respond nahin kiya .mujhe sirf Saturday aur Sunday hi time milta hai ki main 3-4 ghante internet use kar sakoon lekin itna use mera pahle bhi tha jab main sify broadband use karti thi, lekin tab bill 300 ya 400 ka aata tha. aur mujhe 100 150 extra dena padhta tha as I had taken monthly scheme.

                  Lekin mujhe pata nahin tha airtel ne itna bada fraud kiya mere saath, mera bill badh raha tha aur koi information nahin diya gaya mujhe, aaj mera account 7000 ka bill show kar raha hai please aap mera bill sort out kijiye.
                  Main 3 mahine ke hisab se 555x3=1665-555= dene ko tayar hoon aur apna connection cut karana chahti hoon, Isliye please agar to aap mera problem sort out karte hain to thik nahin to main connection cut karana chahti hoon,

                  Airtel ne mere saath bahut bada fraud kiya hai, 2 and half month mahine ka 7000 ka bill show kiya jiska koi logic nahin hai aur mujhe ek lamba sa bill diya hai, Please sir mera problem sort out kijiye, warna main bahoot problem main pad jaoongi. Meri kamayee itni nahin hai ke rent ke ghar main rah kar main itna lamba bill ka bhugtan kar paoongi.
                  Please mera bill sort out kijiye nahin to mera connection katwa dijiye main phir se sify broad band main apna connection lena chahti hoon.

                  Maine is irade se Airtel liya tha ki har mahine mera 100-200 bach jayega .

                  Aap please Mr Rawat se bhi discusstion kijiye jisne mujhe itna bada fraud kiya hai, uske boss ka name Mr Sarkar hai .done ka Mobile number main de rahi hoon.Please contact them and sort out my problem .I am not rich person.                     Its been only 3 months and our Airtel settop box started giving us problem and currently its not working at all.

                    Its been 10 days now that we have registered our complaint at airtel customer care and no resolution has been provided.

                    Airtel customer care number/operator are also so useless, they don't have any clue whats happening at regional service provider centers. They will just give complaint number and assured us that engineer visit will happen. But no one comes for visit and neither we get any update if there is any delay or issue for engineer visit.

                    There is so much lack of co-ordination between Airtel customer care and regional airtel service provider.

                    Nobody picks call at airtel regional service provider office even after repeatedly trying their number.

                    No proper information given on airtel site to whom to escalate in these types of cases.

                    Its so frustrating to pay high amount of money and in return receiving these sort of low customer service from company like airtel.

                    Airtel — Negligence and Useless Attitude

                    The telecom company is called Bharti Airtel who is the cellular service provider, I have been toleratin their attitude for many days but cannot take it any more. These people have been making funof their customers. They dont even care to pick up phone calls of cleints in case it is necessary. They do all sort of mess..they disconnect the phone even when they had not sent the bills....If bill is demanded they simply give the printout on a paper stating that this is your bill...I am going to take legal action against them for the loss that had happened to me due to their disconection without intimation.

                    And if anyone of you guys are watching me write these line PLEASE SAY NO TO SUCH USELESS SERVICE PROVIDER WHEN YOU HAVE MANY OTHER PROVIDERS IN THE ARES... DOWN DOWN AIRTEL

                    My mobile number is [protected]. This is my prepaid number.
                    I given application to airtel executive for the transfering this
                    number from prepaid to postpaid on 7th feb 2008. That time airtel
                    executive told me "after two to three days your prepaid number is
                    deacivated for one day then your postpaid nymber will start". But my
                    prepaid number is deacivated on 11th Feb till it si deacivated. Even i
                    am trying to call that executive i am getting answer from last three
                    days like "it will start within two hours". Rite now i am facing too
                    much problem because of tgis. Kindly help me.

                    Airtel — No Proper attention given to customer queries

                    We have been trying to change our internet plan for the last 3 months.

                    I am curretly paying 1000 Rs for internet and want to switch over to minimum plan, since our usage is very low and we are unnecessarily paying 1000. I have been trying to chenge this for the last 3 months . We reached the customer service 2 times and they did not give proper directions.

                    They gave us website for us to register the complaint but it got bounced back. We agian tried reaching the customer services and told him that this what happened but they did simply ignored it.

                    Till this month i am paying Rs 1000 for no use.

                    Kindly help.

                    Dish TV — Dish TV not working at all

                    I had bought this rubbish impressed by Sharukh Khan Ads. It worked for few days and that is it Since after that my set box has not worked at all.

                    The complaints are not registered and no system of complaint number and no signal what so ever.

                    A clear cas of IPC 420 against the Dish TV and against one gentleman called M.K.Pandey Jaipuria Plaza who did not even update the annual amount since it shows Zero balance, and the behaviour is so bad on phone that one would not like to see that again.

                    Is CEO of Dish TV noticing.

                    Today when I searched for Dish Compaint I was releived to see Thousand of Sufferes like me.

                    Thanks God I am not alone.

                    Is Padam Shree Mr. Sharukh reading all this if so I think he shoud stop endorsing the Dish TV.

                    I have been a DISH Tv Customer since December 2007 & since last 6 months I have been regularly facing the issue with Signal quality. Every month I get messgae on myTV "301-Signal Not Found". For every visit, the executive charges Rs.150 to Rs.170 for rectifying the issue.
                    I am sure that the technicians are not fixing the problem & trying to make more money on every visit. This kind of service & attitude is not expected from DISH TV brand. Even the dealers are not having complete information regarding the recharge & Annual maintenance contract details. I have regularly reported this problem to the customer care but till date no action has been taken.

                    Kindly rectify atthe earliest else I will need to lodge a legal complaint in consumer forum.

One engineer visited on 4th Aug. and informed me that your set up box works with other TV set. And asked to give back the setup box from where it is purchased. Then I went to the shop and requested them to change the box. they checked the box and reported that it is functioning well and no need to change it. I connected it now on my TV set.                     We were supposed to receive a Dish connection from Airtel in January as part of Samsung LCD TV purchase. After following up with Call center, Service managers and many, we still have not received the Dish connection after 8 months. Overall there was no single version of truth from Airtel Service folks. The Call center says the connection is cancelled. The Service Manager promised to install one day and did not get it done. When we call him after that, he does not answer the phone. It has been a pathetic experience and lot of stress just dealing with Service people acting so unprofessional. Here is the phone number of the Service manager who gave a hard time.                     I am fed up with BAKWAS service from a Company Such Airetel. I have launched my compalaint before one week. There is some problem in my set top box. I am fed up doing phone calls & mails to airtel. No responce from there. They are saying 24*7 service. But 100% poor service from airtel.                     Dish TV — Defective Product (Set-top Box) and Poor Customer Service

                    My VC #[protected] (Dish TV Consumer Reference No.), I purchased the Dish TV HD on August 17, 2010 and the hardware (Set-top Box - STB) that was installed was defective. I faced numerous problems including a non-responsive STB, picture getting shrunk to one corner of the TV screen or zooming to larger than the TV screen.

                    On top of this, certain channels started dropping off - they were not available if you scroll for them in the menu or punch the channel no. using the remote control's keypad.

                    We registered the complaint at Dish TV customer care (Complaint No.[protected] and there service response was very poor. The customer care mentioned their response time SLA to a complaint as 24 hrs. but the Technician responded in 48 hrs. only. The Technician called me to find out what my complaint was when I had clearly defined it to the Dish TV Customer Care. The technician mentioned that no details have been passed on to him by the Dish TV customer care. Amazing coordination!!

                    The technician has replaced the Set-top Box (STB) and confirmed that the new product will be active within a couple of hours. When we contacted Dish TV "once again" after 4 hours of "no-service", we were told that the activation takes anytime between 4 hrs. to 48 hrs.

                    I am exasperated and would seek a refund of my payment for my purchase of Dish TV HD services and product.

                    I will also advise all to seek an alternate service provider TataSky, Airtel, Videocon, Sun etc. (my other provider is Tata Sky and haven't had a bad experience with them)..

                    What a let down from a Brand which is aggressively promoting itself and using Sharukh Khan as its brand ambassador - wish they could use some of the money to improve their own process efficiencies.

                    I am using AIRTEL DISH TV (customer id[protected]
                    since i have shifted my house to the new location, i requested AIRTEL to te install my dish antena to my new place.
                    But i have poor response initially. After severe follow up, they said it requires a week or 10 days to reinstall the dish. So far i have not got any feed back from airtel. I have sent email to theam also but no response. Now i thought of disconnecting airtel and going for new one.

                    The airtel dish tv customer care is useless, hopeless......On Thursday i forwarded the request for re-installation and these people gave the appointment for friday at 12.00 p.m. But nobody turned up nor i received any call from the engineer.When on friday ,i called up they gave the appointment for saturday.                     DishTV — Not Activating the services

                    Hi,

                    I am Nagendra from Miyapur, Hyderabad.
                    Last friday i purchase one Samsung LCD and along with LCD they given DISHTV connection. At the time of purchasing they said that you need to pay only 700 rs as activation charges and you will get the complete setup and 45 days free services for the plan which i choose. I have choosen South India Telugu plan. They completed setup of LCD and DISH TV on March 15th Only.

                    Still the sevices were not activated. Every time they are asking for Voucher number and complaint number. I given the voucher number more than 10 times now. They haven't given any complaint number while doing the setup. These CC people were asking for the complaint number given at the time of installation.

                    Nobody is giving accurate response and the toll free number is also not working.

This problem occurs very often. Can someone seriously help us out from this issue and tell us what exactly is the problem.

                    My Dishtv is not working from last 1 week.
                    I logged the complaint on 23rd June through customer care.First the guy who was talking was very rude and aggresive. The whole saturday their technician doesnt came.Then i called again and talk to there senior ..he said there man will come on sunday..but he didnt...
                    Monday went ..tuesday technian came and gave me new setup box and said it will start working in 2 hours....But it didnt...
                    Then finally on wednesday i went to the service center and asked them to help me..They said it will work in 2 min.
                    Its thurdasy now and still my DISHTV in not working...

                    I dont know whom to approach...There service is totaally useless...

                    I don't understand why airtel is doing such cheap things for a set top box whose cost must be less than Rs 500....Is airtel started recruiting "Chor" in there call center who promise false things to there customers? or it is airtel's policy to misguide their customers.

                    I lodged a complaint with airtel but no use yet. I am still receiving the calls from them that return the set top box though I have sent scanned copy of the receipt.

                      This is to report an issue with regards to Airtel Data Share pack on my Prepaid number [protected] (dongle airtel sim for data use). I have recharged my Karnataka Airtel Prepaid number with Rs.998 a week ago and got 5 GB of data which I should be able to share with 2 other Karnataka Airtel Prepaid numbers. I tried to share the data with other 2 Airtel number in the following 2 ways.
                      1. Send a message Data Share Add XXXXXXXXXX to 121
                      2. Visited www.airtel.in/Datashare and Entered my number then tried adding 2 Airtel numbers.

                      None of the above processes worked. I got an error message "Sorry! Your request to add/delete airtel mobile XXXXXXXXXX for sharing 3G data could not be processed due to It is not a valid parent number" I tried contacting Airtel customer care on 121 and 198 and I had a big time challenge to make your representatives understand what the issue is.Few of the representatives does not know what is Data Sharing and keep on advising to send a message to 121 with 3G typed. Thrice, the call got disconnected after 20 minutes after explaining everything to them. (Don’t know if the call got disconnected or the reps disconnected the call as they don’t know what to do). I was advised to contact Nodal officer and was been given a number, when I called the number I was requested to key in the SR number which I did and got an error message "You have entered an invalid SR number". Very frustrating and disappointed customer.

                      Airtel — Closure of Service and other benefits

                      Sir,
                      I took a connection of AIRTEL Pre-Paid, on 04 November 07 from JMD Communication, Lajpat Nagar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. It was taken in the name of Mrs Sadhana Singh. Relevant documents were submitted. My papers were sent to Airtel Office for my phone activation. But, to my dismay I got a call from Ghaziabad Airtel office that the connection I was using was not on the name of Sadhana Singh but on some other name. I was instructed to submit my documentary proof once again. I am serving in Indian Air Force, and at that time I was place at New Delhi on official job hence there was a little delay in re-submission of papers. But after submission of my paper, on the third day I was disconnected from Airtel and my SIM was showing Inactive SIM. However, it was reactivated on 11 Dec 07 but my value added features were removed. My SIM had a validity of two years but after reactivation it showed that my SIM validity is over and I had to recharge it. I contacted to Customer care and told my problem but on the third day only I was again given the fresh validity for the two years. I also had a value added service of local Airtel to Airtel Rs. 50/- free talk taime every month, which I was taken off. Now whenever, I try to contact Customer care, I am not getting the service. Only computer generated voice is heard but no Executives are coming on line. Kindly help.

                        We are staying at Kukatpally area, one of our tenant used to be Airtel Customer on February he vacated the house and left for Bangalore. Before leaving he told he is leaving for Bangalore, but there after he did not confirm his address and Phone number which is unwanted to us, because it is unnecessary for us to have his details.

                        But the Airtel Collection Executives and Tele Executives especially one Priya from Airte ([protected])l.She called to my number and asking me the details of our tenant which we dont know once he left. This we have explained when the collection executives are coming to us. Instead they are coming and harassing our aged parents. And the executive is calling me at unwanted timings. When we told that we dont know any details of him why these people are coming and harassing us. And how can a executive can call from the call data sheet of the customer and call me. This is absolutely trespassing privacy of the people, especially mine.

                        Let the airtel and his customer solve the issue why they are harassing us. I Kindly request the airtel solve the issue with its client using his email id and dont harass us. As they are troubling our aged parents if anything happens they are answerable for the untoward incident.

I would like sue this company and owner Mittal. On 25th Oct i have lost my father and i don't have enough money on savings account and had tough time. can anybody suggest me how to recover money from them and file a case against them.

                        Hi,

                        I had Airtel Broadband[protected] for around year. In Sep'09 I shifted my residence. I called up Airtel customer care on 25-Sep-2009 for discontinuation of my connection. I was told that my connection will be discontinued within 48 hours. At that time my bill for September was also paid. So there was no dues when I made the request for disconnection.

                        After that I received call from Airtel CC regarding my unpaid bill in November. I explained to them that I have already requested for disconnection in September and I have paid for the September month too. And since them I am receiving call from Airtel every 2-3 weeks. I have explained the same thing multiple times. I have also asked them to check if there is any usage after September. But all this to no avail as I keep getting calls from Airtel.
                        Its pure fraud that Airtel is committing. They have designed there process and internal system like that nothing is in sync at there end. When I have placed the request for disconnection, my account should have been closed in that billing cycle. But they kept my account activated and now harassing me to overpay them

                        Can somebody guide me what I should do.

                        I have lodged a request for migration of postpaid connection to prepaid connection for mob no [protected] in the name of Lalit Kumar from airtel company at PNS Telecom based at karnal dtd 28.08.2010.
                        They were saying that we will process your request on 01.9.2010 due to closing is going on, but still no revert by their side. now when i called to them they said there system is not working . By every time they replied the same system is not working. They always harrased on ph and no solution given till time.
                        Now i am in chandigarh and left the karnal. So i cant get them at karnal. Customer care person said we cant help you, you have to contact at karnal office only.
                        Now help me because its not possible for me to go to karnal. Because i am working in a axis bank and transfered to chandigarh.
                        So provide the solution, I am ready to pay the total outstanding amount till date 28.08.2010, but no reply form their side.

                        I had a AIRTEL Broadband connection.Phone number [protected] I disconnected the same by informing the customer care of AIRTEL. I cleared all the bills before disconnection.They accepted the request. After their confirmation of disconnection I received bills month on month. I asked for explanation for the same to the customer care again but no action was taken from their side. Now I am getting collection calls from AIRTEL to pay the money when I never used the BROADBAND. I request everyone not to use AIRTEL BROADBAND service. It is such a disgusting customer care.

                        Airtel Broadband — Harresment by Airtel

                        I would like to share continues harassment that I am going through by Airtel Broadband. I have been an Airtel customer for last 3 years. I decided to shift from my house with effect from Aug 01, 2011 within the same city. I called up Airtel customer care asking about the transfer of my connection for which I was told will take around 21 days (Please note that as per TRAI guidelines the transfer timeline is 3 days). Hearing this I requested for disconnection of services as no person could continue without an internet connection for that long. I went ahead & cleared my dues so that the disconnection could happen without any issues. I received a call from the retention department of Airtel where the executive shared that the transfer will happen within 3 days as the earlier timeline was given because of some software upgrade which has happened so now the time taken has reduced. Basis this assurance I agreed to go for transfer of connection. To my shock no one bothered to contact me for transfer for the next 25 days. After waiting till August 10, 2011 for someone to contact me I decided to get the connection disconnected as Airtel had failed to live up to its commitment. It took me 2 days to finally reach Airtel customer care as they would avoid taking my call the moment I talk about disconnection claiming that a software upgrade is happening so they can’t note my complaint. Finally on August 11, 2011 I was able to make it clear that I want my connection to be disconnected. I also told I have moved to another service provider so now do not need your connection.

                        Despite my clear communication they did nothing. I even wrote them a mail regarding the same on August 11, 2011 which they ack but did nothing. Finally I received a call on August 24, 2011 from Airtel telling me they have a transfer request from me & would like to start the process. When I told him that I do not want a transfer any more & have already spoken to customer service about disconnection he hung up.

                        The worst thing is my connection is still active at my last address who would be responsible if the phone is used for some criminal activity by new residents of the house or any third party as I have no control over the old residence. Also Airtel despite not doing there job is still charging me rent for the period when I can’t even use their service?

                        To my shock yesterday I wrote a mail again to Airtel making it clear I do not wish to continue with their connection at any cost even if it is free despite the mail their representative wrote to me saying they have noted down my request for transfer & have forwarded the same to the concerned department. I have no idea what kind of people does Airtel hire who can’t even read customer’s mails & respond. Also the E-Mail ID of the nodal officer provided by Airtel nodal.[protected]@airtel.in does not work. I am hoping atleast god will save me from Airtel. I will never ever in my life ever use any service or product of Airtel.

                        Airtel Broadband - Bangalore — Didn't get my money back even after 60 days

                        After I raised a request for airtel broadband in my home, an associate named Mani (Contact Number: [protected]) came to my place and I filled up the Customer Enrolment Form and paid Him Rs. 999 for my connection. He assured that the connection will be done within 72 hours. After 3 days I call him back and he says, there is some problem in my area and it will take another 3/4 days. I call them back again after 3/4 days and this guy told me that problem is still there and another 10 days will be required. I got pissed of at this moment and he gave me another person's name and number (Ravi: [protected]) who was sitting in a higher position. When I called that guy he said me the same thing. I was very angry and told him that I will sue airtel for this. I was stunned when He told me I can do whatever I want.

                        After that I decided to cancell my request and called them. They cancelled my order and told me that refund will be made after 25 days. Its now more then 60 days and I still dint get my refund.

                        Please take immediate action against these FRAUDS.

                            I have recently taken an Airtel connection for which I was promised an X% rebate for first Y months bill. When I did not see such rebate in my first bill, I called up their customer service center and raised a service complaint. To this day, I have not received a single call from them to solve the case. I have lodged three separate complaints[protected], 34816176,[protected] for the same case from 24 June till 10 July 2013, but no response.

                            On top of this, their answer is that they tried to call me but couldn't reached me. How is this possible that one of their team (sales & marketing) is not able to reach me while the other team (website team for another complaint) can reach me fine. I even gave a fixed landline number in case the mobile is out of reach, still no response.

                            Tried everything. Sending email to [protected]@airtel.com; trying to get hold of manager but no use. If someone from Airtel is reading this mail, rest assured that I will not pay the bill amount until I see the related discount appear. Now, take your own sweet time to come back. My contact number is already given in account details.

                            I had the opportunity of hearing you in a business seminar 6-7 years ago and was convinced that you are man of changes and commitments, though that impression still stays but wonder why people you assign to manage deadwoods who can not perform 5 percent of what your visions are.

                            To make my complaint brief, I had applied for a WI FI router and committed time was 10th Feb and ever since the close of dedicated time I have logged on 4 calls and each occasion a new excuse is tendered. I have sat at home for 3 days waiting for the router and wasted my important time.

                            I am fully aware that you cannot satisfy all your customers but In the interest of a your company's future would need your attention to weed out inefficiency.

                            Airtel — Poor Broadband Service and Complaint Resolution - Airtel

                            I have been using Airtel Broadband ( landline no.[protected] since August, 2010. I had initially subscribed for 899/- plan and switched to Impatience 1399/- plan on 13th Dec. But to my utter disappointment the speed of my link decreased to 1 Mbps after just around 15 GBs o[censored]sage (instead of the specified 25 GBs) on the 28th of Dec, after which it has continuously varied in the range between 512 Kbps and 1 Mbps. The issue was finally sorted out after repeated complaints, but not before 8th January, 2011, a period of 11 days. My billing date starts from 8th as well.
                            I have received the bill for last month's usage and I requested Airtel to send me the corrected bill in order to avoid any delay in submission as I was not entitled to a payment according to Impatience 1399 plan since my link speed had not been as specified in their plan description. At first they ignored the complaint and marked the complaint as resolved without even caring to consult me. Finally, after 3-4 repeated complaints they budged and called me up to say that as per the terms and conditions, I am not entitled to any kind of concession in the monthly rental on accounts of delay in resolving the speed issues.
                            Now I keep receiving irritating automated reminder calls for the submission of the rental.
                            I am extremely frustrated with Airtel Customer Care's attitude and disappointed in them as far as the complaint resolution services are concerned.

                            AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — POOR SERVICE

                            as i was having a no of airtel landline with IPTV and Broadnband service[protected],i register a request for transfer to my new address in sec 7 Rohini,but the customer care executives fools me by saying there is network congestion and there is non avialability of distribution point at my new address,
                            but for surprise after waiting for 14days with unsatisfied replies i register for new connection at the same address ,i get in 24HRS with my new no[protected]
                            for this i have to pay new connection fee and loss 100free call per month associated with old no and loss of my valuable business with the help of internet,such a poor response,i have sent them notice also but they don't heed it,now i am filing case in consumer court within 1 week

                            Airtel Broadband — Lousy Customer Service

                            Hi,

                            This is regarding a very simple issue that has been unneccesarily elongated by Airtel's customer service

                            1. I had the Airtel broadband service with landline - [protected]. The connection was in my wife's name - Nazia Hasan.

                            2. As I was shifting from Ghaizabad to Gurgaon, I got a fresh Airtel broadband connection at my new residence and hence got the new number of [protected]

                            3. Hence I raised a request for the disconnection of my old number [protected]

                            4. Post that I have been receiving numerous "irritable" calls from the Airtel retention department all asking me the same questions time and again ( the details of which I have provided repeatedly) - questions related to why I was asking for the disconnection, whether I wanted to retain the no or getting it transferred to anyone etc. etc.

                            5. Now post all these calls, today I got an sms confirming that the service at my old number have been RESUMED ??? I am really at a loss o[censored]nderstanding as I had never placed any request for resuming of my services

                            6. Regarding my new connection - [protected], I had raised several service requests ( and repeated calls to the customer care) for a minor requirement of additional wiring - service requests no[protected] and 45206060. Till now there has been absolutely no response from the Airtel side on my service request.

                            I am really perturbed by the amount of time wastage that I have to incur to get such small service requests resolved from Airtel. I will be really grateful if anyone can look into this and help me resolve these at the earliest.. Otherwise I will be forced to look at different service operators for my broadband requirements.

                            Airtel Broadband — Broadband not working and poor response from Airtel

                            Hi,

                            My name is Krishna and I’m an Airtel customer. My fixed landline number is [protected].

                            I’m mailing with respect to a complaint that I raised on 07-Aug at around 1:30 PM (Complaint #: 1944160). This is regarding my broadband not functioning properly.
                            [If you have a history of complaints raised, you will notice that this is my third complain this month (Complaint 1#: 49141052 and Complaint 2 #: 1391052). For both these complaints, I had no timely resolution or proper updates on when the issue will be resolved. Even though I received messages on my mobile about them being resolved, in reality they were not.]

                            A technician came to my house and inspected the connection / modem. He informed my folks at home (I was not available at home) that the modem has to be replaced and that I have to talk to come vendor to get it organized. After I reached home, I called the technician (Name: Saravanan, Mobile: [protected]) to get more details, but his phone was switched off. Then, I called Airtel Customer Care to get more details. I was told by them that the process has been changed and that I have to talk to a vendor for modem replacement and pay the charges accordingly. I was extremely surprised to hear this and wanted to speak to the supervisor. They said they will and I was put on hold, but never connected. This happened more than 4-5 times. The next time I called the customer care, the recorded voice tells me that my number is “barred”.

                            Regarding modem replacement: I had my modem replaced recently (in the month of April / May – a refurbished one) by an Airtel technician because the earlier modem was not functioning properly. This time again, if there is a modem fault, I expect Airtel to take care of it. Why should I talk to a vendor, explain all of this again and pay the charges when I do not even own the modem!? I’d like to talk to someone from Airtel who can explain this to me better. As I am unable to call Airtel, I’d appreciate if someone from Airtel can call me.

                            For almost a month, I’m having a partially functioning broadband line and I’m really unhappy. Also, Airtel customer service has been very poor and no suitable action has been taken to rectify any of the concerns. I’m extremely disappointed with your service.                             Airtel Broadband — Airtel Broadband Poor customer service | Connection not given

                            Dear Sir,
                            This is regarding failure to provide connection and non refunding of my advance amount by Airtel Broadband.
                            I applied for a new Airtel broadband connection on 06/08/2011 through a Airtel sales person. When filling the application form the sales person promised me that the connection would be provided within 2 days of submitting the form. A week had passed I didn't receive any call from Airtel so I contacted the customer care and lodged a complaint. The customer care executive told me that someone from Airtel will contact me soon and connection would be provided within 2 days. The complaint number was 2337412 . I waited for a week again and didn't get any calls from Airtel. I again placed a complaint , number is 2601248 . This time i got the same reply that someone would contact me in 2 days. The same thing repeated I again placed two more complaints. Number are 2603782 and 3296624. Every time I call them they give me the same standard reply that issue will be resolved in 2 days. I also gave an option to them to refund my money if its not possible to give connection. I had paid Rs.1500 while filling the application form. I thought of trying one last time and called the customer care (Complaint number is 3397612). This time the customer care executive told me that the issue is pending with sales department and promised me that someone will call from Airtel within 15 hrs. Unfortunately nobody turned up. I wrote a complaint to the NODAL Officer but no action is taken. I am just asking them to refund my money if they are not able to provide a connection.Please help me in resolving this issue.

                              I wanted to activatean ISD Packs available from Airtel. The customer care executive told me that it can be activated from Airtel Outlet only. I called twice to confirm but both the times, the airtel CCE told me that I need to go the nearest Airtel Outlet only.
                              When I went to the airtel outlet, they told me that the pack can be activated by calling 121 only and not through any of the outlet.
                              And finally, when I called again at 121, they activated my pack saying that earlier wrong information was provided.

                              Request to take necessary action since, the customer is not sitting ideal all times to keep calling 121 or visit the airtel outlet.

                              Where ever i call from it does not matter as i get the reply as CALL FAILED and this is becoming quiet annoying as all i have to do is wait to be free to call you people and get a ticket raised and this has been happening since 15 days now and its been a very common freature of my number now.

                              The other issue is about a Executive named Hemant he just hanged up on me how can you people not barge a call as the call drop as far as i no is not allowed

                              I have had my patience but it seems i am left with no other alternative then to give up this number

                              Sapna customer care executive of AIRTEL (post-paid) give wrong & fake information regarding change of hello tune . My mobile no is[protected]. I request the company to look after this matter i.e why she give me wrong information .Did she is not aware of all the procedures or policy of the company ??? This is very shameful for the company that the executives of such a good company are giving wrong informations to their customers . While at Rohini sector XI it shows Haider pur. Which is 5 km from Rohini sector XI, despite many complaints to customer care cell claims its right, but it is wrong.

I called the customer care to know about the procedure, i had to call many times to know about that. at first i was told that it can be done only at Kolkata office, salt lake & chowringee. For confirmaton i had to call many times because i live in Haldia, so going to Kolkata is a big matter. Then i was told that it can get the replacement at the nearest airtel distributor, paying Rs. 75. well i did that. I was told that the sim will be activated in 2 hrs. 30 hrs passed. no activation was done. I had the number of the concerned airtel office, i called them up, they told me to call up 121. i called them they asked me, they can do nathing, they asked me to call the airtel office. After calling each of them 8 times in 1 day, i was exhausted. The climax was when the airtel office senior switched off the number. there were many heated conversation. i had a very important call, when i was to talking to them, i was tol that they are not supposed to hold the line. imagine the customers have to wait but they wont!!!

                              A Few Months back a SWEET Voice stating to be an Employee of AIRTEL called upon my present Mobile number and offerred me an ADDITIONAL: SIM CARD . In fact I was also thinking of getting anotherSIM CARD with Similar Last Digits of My first Number .As Expected My request was fullfilled .

                              I am pre paid customer of Air Tel mobile service provider, in Punjab.The complaint pertains to mobile number [protected]. On[protected] I got a call from customer care centre ([protected])of the Air tel to inform me about expiry of validity period of my said mobile number( that expires on[protected]. I was further told to get a recharge of Rs.98/- in order to opt for Life Time validity offer .Accordingly I made a recharge for Rs.98/- on[protected] at 05:15PM.Tha same was accepted . I was surprised to know that the validity was extended for one month only. Seeing this fraud I contacted the customer care center of the company on the same day i.e[protected] at 07:22 PM.                               AirTel — Wrong Info Given

                              I have an Airtel Postpaid Number. Someone from Airtel called and asked me to take a Add On Connection. I agreed as I could give it to my wife; next day they sent an executive and I filled a form and got the Sim. They mentioned one mobile number in the form and told that this will be your new no for the add on connection. I signed the form and paid Rs.250 to the executive.
                              The number gets activated in about a week and its now a different number from which was mentioned in the form.
                              I went to Airtel Outlet and then from there I had a talk with the Customer Care People and they told it will take 13 days to resolve beck this issue.

                              This is to inform u that today on 29sep09 i have call customer for my billing discrepancies and talk to floor manager there. He was not at all listening to the problem and was also asking unnecessary question.                               I have activated gprs on my mobile throw net on phone (NOP), On 22th October,2009. Before activating this service i made a call to 121 & get information of (NOP) but they didn't iform about there downloadig limitation, they only told that we have unlimited downloading & browsing in Rs.5/- rental. I have launch a complaint for not activating google maps on my mobile & not downloading videos & songs too. Then after they cant solved my problem. Today I made a call to 12118 then they told me that (NOP) dose not support any map application & throw (NOP) downloadig over 2mb is not prowided.                               I have aritel pre paid connection No [protected]. I convert this number to post paid on 30 Oct 09 for purpose o[censored]sing GPRS facility because in post paid it cheapest then prepaid. Same day when i received my GPRS activation SMS, I request to de-activate all other services in my connection. I was confirmed by SMS that all services are deactivate from from your number other then Mobile office.

                              After four five day i received chain of weakly one or tow or more SMS for stating that "thanking you for downloading of services(their are type of service and charges are different). this is my first experience with post paid service. i think i may be advertisement so i did not care.

                              when i received my first bill then the amount for all those SMS send to me are added to my bill it Rs. some 140.00(approx) that i think no problem. then i asked to customer care 121 they told me it is used by you, i object and told them my all services are deactivated and i never activate all these services. it not big amount so i not behind the same and i forget BUT

                              I complain the same at-least 6 time 06 16 Dec 09 to airtel customer care (121) i have all complain number and Email also on 17 Dec 09. reply given to me that after bill generation the problem will be solved. then i have wait up bill generation 27 Dec 09. meanwhile my out going calls are stopped saying that pay your bill because use credit limit is only five hundred and you used more then two hundred percentage of your credit limit. then i have to pay 1200.00 on same day because I use mobile connection to communicate with my family member that time my father are suffering with fever at my home.

                              This is regarding wrong information provided to me through the airtel helpline : 121.

                              My airtel no. is a Friends Plan no. and this service was not working for few months as i was charged Rs.1 per message to all my friends plan no. Since this facility was not working i had called 121 on 30th March (eve). with the information provided by me i was suggested to do a recharge of Rs.41 and was told that this recharge will help me have the Friends plan facility as well as the Rs1 STD call facility, so the next day ie 31st March i recharged for 41 but that dint work, for which i called 121 back at 8.59pm for further inquiry to which after keeping me on hold for long timings i was told silly things like, this no. is not at a friends plan at all, and then was told that because of Rs41 recharge the number has been changed to a Life time number and it cannot be converted back to a friends plan number.

                              On asking for a complaint to be registered, i was not talked back well, my call put on hold for long times and for few mins also not picked up.

                              This is a loss to me for the reason that my number has been changed to a life time number without me wanting it and also all the facilities are not available to me for which i on the first place got this number. also the recharge of Rs 41 was of no use to me.

                              I would like a strict action to be taken for the irresponsible customer service that is provided to me.

                              Also i would like my no. to be changed back to the Friends Plan no. that it was previously.

                              I was provided with false information before applying for Airtel Broadband connection, which led to a lot of inconvinience.
                              Here is the letter I mailed to Airtel's customer care, I hope this will suffice:
                              Since I have not been able to reach customer care at [protected] I am mailing the customer care.

                              Hi,

                              I am an employee of one the most prestigious IT Giants in India, Wipro Technologies. Recently I was contacted by one of the agents of Airtel, Mr. Ananda Ejc, regarding Airtel Broadband connection. He produced a brochure and explained me several Broadband plans. Since I have a busy schedule I asked him to explain me all the aspects of the plans available. I got interested in one of the plans called “Impatience 1299”. According to Ananda the plan consisted of,

                              1. Rs. 1299 as the fare for 2 Mbps internet Broadband speed.
                              2. Unlimited download limit.
                              3. 10.5% VAT.
                              4. Rs. 250 as installation charges.
                              Since the plan was impressive and after confirming with his supervisor, Mr. Veeranna, on phone I was assured that the plan explained was correct. So I paid the charges (Rs. 250) and received a customer copy of the receipt (SEF No.: 0139776).
                              The next day Engineers arrived at my home and since I was at my office my roommate dealt with the installation formalities. During the installation I was informed that the plan is for 1Mbps internet speed and I have to pay Rs. 500 for the 2 Mbps connection. Since I was at the office I was contacted by the engineer at location and I was informed of the same. This was the first time when I was provided wrong information by the Airtel agent. After speaking with Ananda’s supervisor (Mr. Veeranna), who is an Airtel employee, and with the customer care executive (by dialing 121 on Airtel phone) I was informed that once I have paid Rs. 250 my plan will be changed to 2 Mbps internet speed. Since I had one more Airtel Broadband connection I decided to use this connection until the problem is resolved. I paid Rs. 250 to Mr. Ananda the very next day but after that day I have neither heard from the agent or have received the receipt for Rs. 250.
                              Note: I am still getting 1 Mbps internet connection.
                              The latest information I received from the customer care was that the 2 Mbps speed is only until I have download 20 Gb and after that the speed gets reduced to 256 Kbps with unlimited download limit. This information was not provided to me when I enquired about the plan.
                              I have spent Rs. 500 and have disconnected the old connection (with which I was very satisfied) and still getting 1 Mbps speed.
                              Now my question is,

                              1. How are the agents recruited by Airtel?
                              2. Who recruits such incompetent candidates?
                              3. Why the customers are provided insufficient information?
                              4. Why do I have to suffer for this incompetence?
                              5. Is it worth to spend my precious working hours and raise a concern?
                              6. My business has suffered from this incident and since my part time business is online, who will pay for my losses?
                              7. Because of this incident my relationship with my business partners has suffered, who will normalize this relationship?
                              My business is suffering because now I have to get the plan changed again, since my internet usage exceeds 20GB within 10 day. Have I known about this plan earlier, I would have not opted for it, not because it is a bad plan, in fact it is a great plan, but not appropriate to type o[censored]sage we have.
                              I would like Airtel to pay for my losses and frustration caused due to this incident, which is approximately Rs. 80,000(Eighty thousand only).
                              I request you to kindly log a ticket and provide me with the ticket no.

                              MY self neha aggarwal .i want to submit complaint against Bharti airtel india. on 4 july 2011 i make a call to airtel customer care about recharge information. the cc tell me thaton recharge on 33rs u will ger full talktime . but when i make recharge of rs33 i got ISD that is activated on my mobile number . my mobile number is [protected] . pls solve my problem . i do not want any ISD pack .they misguide me.

                                Disconnection of Postpaid Mobile Number

                                I had applied for the disconnection of my mobile number at the nearest air service center on 2nd July, 2013. I had completed all the required procedures as told by the executive on the same day. She told me that my outstanding bill is 433 Rs, and i will have to pay it before disconnection, I paid the bill.                                 I have activated my airtel 2G pack for Rs. 125/- 3-4 months back, and its auto renewed every time and data uses credited to my a/c but this time they deduct Rs. 125/- and do not credited any MB data usage to my a/c.. and I was using internet and they were deducted amount for the same.

                                I also called their customer care, but executive I talked was very rude he even does not know how to behave to customers


                                Can anybody help me to get my money back. and if this problem not solved i m going to change my service provider.

                                AirTel — deductions from balance

                                i am using airtel lifetime no.[protected]. the service provider often deduct more amount for gprs charges. complaints were lodged with trai & the service provider but of no use. airtel did not reply or very often they used to reply 'our system is down now, contect later' the best way to escape liability. common people do not take pains to ledge the complaint for just 11.99/-. but if this problem is caused with 5-4 coror people then imagin how easily the service provider earned corors of rupees illegally causing loss to others. i am not sure that even this ettempt will bear any fruit. lets hope that some will come out of it.

                                I am receiving messages from No 64611010 without giving any option. My mobile is not activating unless I open the message.
                                If I try for delation it is not deleating. I have not opted for and advatisment also. Without our option how it is happing.

I just want to know what had happened to these BULLS..Don't they understand that I don't don'tdon't don't want any scheme in my phone connection.                                   Sir: I had tried to uprade my TV Connection on 31st May 2013 (and my ID is [protected]) and sum of Rs.2590 was debited to my account no.[protected], Karnataka Bank, R.T. Nagar Branch, Bangalore IFSC code KARB0000120. Later got the message from AIRTEL that the transaction was not success. However a sum of Rs.2590 was debited to my above account. Since I have not received the Set Box I had requested many times to Airtel to refund the amount. So far I have not received any response from them.

                                    I have given request for POSTPAID TO PREPAID in MOBILE WORLD,MANINAGAR,AHMEDABAD ABC on Dated:-17/06/2013 Code 150033.At that time I was given counter having serial No.GJA0776946,I was told that it will be transferred with 72 hrs,but it didn't happened so I approached there on 23/6/0213,and was not satisfied with the answer they gave me.I was told that due to system error it has not happened and I was told to submit all the related documents again.This was too much for me because once the documents are submitted and why asked for another one.I was very much disturbed with the services provided by your COMPANY.As I am your customer from last 10 years and I have also launched complaint against this in your GRAHAK SEVA KENDRA,but I did not get any positive response.So Ihave now cleared all my outstanding and demanding for the money which has not not be paid by me.AND NOW I HAVE BEEN PORATABILITY IN VODAFONE,so please make early arrangements for the payment made by me.

                                    Hello Sir/Madam,

                                    I have an Airtel postpaid connection since 2001 and I got this connection through a corporate scheme, when I was into my previous company. This company shut down their operations in July 2003. However I am still continuing this postpaid connection till now. Now, I have requested the Airtel to convert this postpaid to prepaid and they asked to me provide a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from my previous company. I have already explained to them that this company is already closed down, so how can I get the NOC from a company that does not exists. I have visited to Airtel Outlets, contacted to Nodal Officers and sent out a mail to Appellate team. Per Nodal officer, I got the same answer that as per policy they need the NOC. Now, I don't know how to get this postpaid connection to prepaid. I am ready to provide all the available documents with me like (relieving letter, address proof or any additional request letter, they may need). Your attention is very much required to resolve this issue. Please help!

                                    I had applied for airtel post paid to pre paid transfer for keeping same number. I had submitted my documents on 25 Jan 2010,& airtel office representative ensure that new pre paid will start within three days. But it did not happen till date.
                                    Now I am asking about the same with airtel,for that they require documents again, I don't know what’s happen with my early documents. It may be chance of misuse of my personal documents.
                                    There is total unlikely behavior by Airtel regarding this case. Why they are not so much responsible about his work & customers personal documents. So its should be airtel responsibility to hand carefully.
                                    Now I don't know, where is my documents whether in airtel office or somewhere else. And when my connection will transfer from post paid to pre paid.

                                    My mobile No. Airtel [protected], letter given to Trichy Airtel Lobby, Thillai Nagar and amount Rs.1380.00 paid(2.11.11/ 12.36 hours) towards full settlement for changingover to prepaid facility. They assured me it will take time 24 hours to activate . but unfortunately it had not done till now, in the meantime I have recharged Rs.234 and done booster pack 225. When contacted to airtel customer service, they informed me it take another 24 hours. Now nearly 57 hours passed. I am totally fedup and confused regarding their service.

                                    Kindly advice in this regard for further course of action.

I want to convert my connection In prepaid. I went air tel showroom on 14th of Jan 2013 and requested them to convert my connection from postpaid to prepaid.. They demanded 1 photograph & 1 proof which were given them from me.. And they give me new Sim and charged me 93 rupees.. They told me that Ur connection will b convert in 72 hoUrs.. No result was found after 72 hoUrs.. Then I contacted to coustomer care.. One by one representatives gave me different reasons... Till now it's nt solve...

                                    This seems to be a perennial issue with airtel. I had the same situation almost a year back. They again hid under the garb of system error and asked for resubmission of documents. It seems they are on a go slow to change post paid to prepaid, even though I have four connections in the family and have been their customer for more than two years. They entice with special post paid offers to convert from pre paid. Later you find that there are a lot of hidden costs they add on to the bills. When you ask them to change it back to prepaid, they start playing truant. Only when I threatened to move to Vodaphone, they finally changed it after more than two months had elapsed, forcing me to bear additional costs on post paid bills.

I GOT REPLY THAT THEIR PASSWORD ARE BLOCKED..THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO TREAT CUSTOMER...VERY BAD EXPERIENCE N YOU REQUEST CANNOT BE PROCESSED AT THIS TIME ..COME ON TUESDAY...M'I LOOK LIKE NUTS OR WHAT..IF YOUR PASSWORD IS LOCKED WHAT THE HELL YOU GUYS ARE DOING THERE GO BACK TO YOUR HOME. AND REASON FOR CONVERTING MY POSTPAID TO PREPAID IS WHENEVER I OPEN YOU PAYMENT PORTAL SITE TO PAY MY BILLS...YOU SITE ALWAYS HAS A PROBLEM..ERROR COMES OUT "MY TRANSACTION NEVER TAKES PLACE ON YOUR SITE" THIS IS THE REASON IAM SWITCHING MY POSTPAID TO PREPAID BECAUSE OF YOUR SITE FAILURE ...I DONT WANT TO SPOIL MY CIBIL.
