I was using the airtel 499 Combo plan with 1GB of free DSL usage with 2Mbps speed. The bill generated for 10days o[censored]sage was 6740. Airtel has recorded very high DSL usage for 5 out of these 10 days charging me 1200 per day. The DSL usage split up which has been shown in the bill is highly impossible. I had raised a complaint regarding this around 1.5 months back. I had called airtel customer care multiple times explaining them that the DSL usage cannot be so high and requesting them to look into the issue. They had closed the complaint without my knowledge saying that I had accepted to pay the bill.
I again raised another complaint to which they had called me on 26th Feb 2009 and agreed to give me a waiver of 70% and said that it will be reflected in my next bill. I was told that the bill is settled and it was confirmed from their side. I called the customer care to confirm the same and they responded saying that system is not yet updated to reflect the change. After calling them again I got a response that they have rejected the waiver request. I have been calling them multiple times but they are not ready to make a settlement on this issue.

    from last so many months, i am being charged for EZ MAIL & MOBILEMAIL. I have not subscribed for any of these. I have repeatedly complained against this, but nothing has been done so far. Please stop this & refund all of my amount. My phone no. is -_ [protected]
    . Again my phone is giving repeatedly missed calls. Please look into this immediately.
    मेरा एक नंबर [protected] है मेरी समस्या ये है की जब भी में recharge करता हु तो आपके द्वारा मेरे balance काट लिया जाता है और जब में costomer care में call करता हूँ तो balacne वापिस भी कर देते है, , और अगली बार ऐसा नहीं होगा मुझे यह कहा जाता है..पर हर बार ऐसा होता है, क्या में ये जान सकता हूँ की क्यों मेरा balance काटा जाता है, और यह कई बार हो चुका है, , क्रप्या मेरी समस्या का समाधान कीजिये

      I had bought my airtel sim card on 27-oct-2008 my mo.No is:::[protected]
      But this sim card not work Properly.
      most of in my mobile giving alert msg sim not ready, service not ready
      when i have to told problem to airtel office in Anand but the officer told me u have to paid 100 rupees.and buy new card.I have to also try in Customer call executive but not give any Respose...

      I am manjunatha Ramchandra and i am having the Airtel service from Dec 2007.
      i paid all the bills upto Dec 2008.

      Now i am in EGYPT dec 2008 end. So i need to disconnect or deactivate my Connection.
      I am not more going to use the number.

      please help me.

        I regularly receive promotional call & SMS. I had requested for DND (do not disturb) facility, but the system activates only after 45 days.

        I had no other complaint but since I am an frequent traveller receiving promotional SMS and calls on roaming obviously pinches me.

        I developed a reflex in recent months when I use my Airtel postpaid connection, if any sms comes I'm sure it is someone who's asking me to buy a flat in cheap rate near NCR, or astology or personal loan etc. etc. If I see a call is coming from a unknown number and on the other side a female voice I become sure of some loan/credit card request and before she could finish I thank and disconnect her.

        I tried Airtel's so called 45 day DND/govt. rule blah.. blah... but nothing worked at all but my reflexes are doing great :-)

          I am an airtel customer for 4 years now. Couple of years in karnataka and past 8 months in MP. I surrendered my karnataka sim in the month of august '08 and took up new post paid connection in MP. Now i am required to surrender the sim in MP as i have moved out of india. my family member when tried surrender the sim, are asked for the photo id proof. i want to know y is an id required for surrendering? and to my surprise, the sim that i had personally surrendered at airtel office, has been receiving bill till the latest month. Then what is the meaning of the surrendering of the sim?? I really dont know what is airtel upto? inspite of being a regular & sincere customer, is this what we get back??

            I have 15 connections of Airtel post paid at my office some are under CUG plan and some are on the name of individuals From last 1 month I am complaining AIRTEL for poor voice quality of mobile incoming and outgoing calls. We cant able to receive even incoming calls at our office premises ie; 19 Surya Niketan, Vikas Marg, Delhi. 110092. by this our business suffers a lot.
            There is no any response from Airtel, I think I complained once or twice a day for the same but every time I heard a simple excuse that Airtel engineers are on the job and the problem will be sorted out shortly.
            One year back I faced the same problem with RELIANCE and I switch over from Reliance mobile to Airtel but I cant understand what the big companies like AIRTEL and Reliance have service network. We are spending thousands of Rs. Per month for this kind of poor network with lots of mental tension and worries.
            If there is any way to resolve the problem please let me know. I’ll be very grateful.

              Hello,

              I am residing in Noida and working with a software company in Noida.
              I was required to attend some personal work in Lucknow and at the same time need to take care of my office work.
              Hence I bought a USB Internet Modem Data Card from Airtel. The USB Modem is bought from Airtel store in Shoprix Mall, Sec-61, Noida. Before buying the USB Modem, I confirmed from the sales executive at Airtel outlet in Shoprix Mall, Sec-61, Noida, that this USB Modem will work in Lucknow as it is all India free roaming.

              As soon as I arrived Lucknow, the USB Modem stopped working.

              After calling number of times to customer care and technical assistence center - I was told that there is the problem in SIM which is used by the USB Data Card and it needs to be replaced. As the Card is bought from Noida the SIM can only be replaced at Noida and not in Lucknow.

              I could not do my office work for the period of my stay in Lucknow.

              But to my surprised as soon as I cam back to Noida - the USB Data Card started connecting to internet.

              I request to let me know the exact reason why the USB Data Card did not worked in Lucknow. And need compensation for loss of my oofice work and mental trauma the I got by false promise of Airtel Sales Executives and technical support staff.

                I shri.piyesh.v.savla using u r services mobile no is [protected] purchased add on card on 9/1/2009 from your franchise m/s jaiganesh telecom, kandivali[w] vide receipt no 17793 dt 9/1/2009 & i had purchased add on card by paying rs100/- cash mobile no is [protected] & card no[protected]F. I have given my documents mainly pan card, electricity bill Xerox for residence, they had assured me that the line will be activated within 48 hrs but when I enquired on 21/1/2009 i came to no that from your customer care number that mobile no [protected] was activated on some else name on 19/1/2009. on very next date i went to franchise m/s jaiganesh telecom, kandivali[w] & asked him abt the same & he told now nothing can be done & do what ever u want to do, he also abused by giving ill-treatment by one of your executive shri.dinesh who is still working there. I was deeply hurt & was embraced in front of all crowd by roughly speaking with me. I was totally shocked by u r executive behavior giving to me.
                So according i have lodged a formal complaint through customer care department regarding this incidence & my complaint no is[protected] spoken with mr.faran.khan.
                pl take action against u executive & also u r franchise also see that the mobile no [protected] is activated at the earliest. hope action is taken from u r side other wise i have to go to consumer court & media, which will be not good for u r company’s reputation. pl inform at the earliest of the above.

                      I GOT 3 GSM CONNECTIONS([protected], [protected], [protected]) FROM AIRTEL 1.1/2 YR BACK AND FITTED THAT 3 SIMS IN MY TRACKING DEVICES OF THE CARS AND CHOSEN PLAN OF RS.499/YEAR WITH FREE 80 SMS/MONTH PACKAGE.BUT WITHOUT GETTING ANY WRITTEN CLARIFICATION, ON THEIR OWN THEY GOT MY PLAN CHANGED TO VOICE CALLING PLAN.I HAVE EMAILED THEM LOTS OF COMPLAINTS AND GIVEN THAT COMPLAINTS REF NO. TO THEIR CUSTOME CARE CENTRES ALSO AND ALSO SEND THAT COPIES TO ALL NECESSARY OFFICERS OF THE AIRTEL.EVERY TIME THEY HAVE GIVEN ME DEADLINES TO SOLVE THE COMPLAINT...BUT ITS STILL PENDING THERE SINCE DEC2008.LIST OF DRAWBACKS IN AIRTEL

                        On 25th Feb. Deducted Rs. 30 from my balance and send SMS to me that u r Caller tune renewal fee deducted. I have been call to Customer care dated 02.03.2009(12.10 PM) and got a complaint no.[protected] and she committed me that u r balance refund Rs. 30 within 24 hrs. but I did get my deducted amount till now.

                            I subscribe to airtel friends chat. Money is not a problem here. Daily i receive messages form this number(+543216), it saids, "Hi i am maya, i am cool and fun loving girl. do you wanna know more about me. then just dial "[protected]" (F22)(F22 means Female Age 22) only at Rs.2/- min" . this is the message i receive today. Whenever i call that given number, there is no maya, divya and whatever they are. Last ti me i call that given number a 75 year old grandma attend the call.But the message saids Sandhya F19. There is no friends. These are all fake . They just take money form our account.Please Stop This.

                            I completely agree with the complaint that friend chat is a fraud, i have also experienced a similar fraud, each time the message comes only to lure the customers for chat but in reality there are so such people with those numbers messaged from +54321 followed by a number. This is a clear cheating of customers. and such fraud servcies are not expected from airtel. A serious action should be taken against to curb such fraud services which dont really exist.

                                I have receiving messages from numbers : 64611001 and 54321 regarding archie_comics_wap subscription. I have been charged Re.1 daily for the same : http://gclub.in. I never use airtel wap services and never ordered to activate the same. I called Airtel Customer care regarding the same. I was told that no amount has been deducted and I won't be getting any such messages also. But, I have been receiving these messages daily since almost last two months. Today, I visited Airtel outlet. To my surprise, I am told that I have been charged Re.1 daily for the services. I again raised the complaint regarding the same. It is really harassment and airtel is fraudently charging the customers.                                     This is to complaint regarding Prepaid recharge facility availed through Internet Banking. I have been using my Internet Banking facility provided by ICICI Bank for recharging my prepaid mobile connection with AIRTEL India in the past. In the last two transactions that were carried out on 06 and 25 Feb 2009 for a recharge of Rs. 1000.00, each I was given a talktime of only Rs 888.00 on each occasion against the full talktime that I have been previously receiving. The customer care dept is totally clueless about it and I was told that they would get back to me. This however has not happened. Calling up customer care only results in the customer being directed from one operator to another with waiting period sometimes being as long as 10 minutes. will someone pls address this problem.                                     Airtel Prepaid — Recharge through online banking

                                    dear,

                                    i am fedup with your service regording your billing part i have baught your 1 Re. STD plan and it was working fine till last night but in my last STD call to UP east for 9 minutes and 24 Rs. deducted from my balence and it had been happened lot many times earliar with me. i tried to call to the customer care but i did not get any help from there, your customer care services is as worst as your services. Now i want to switch to vodafone becoze my other room mets are using that one and they are satisfy with the services in terms of network, billing and customer care. Thats why i am sending you my complain throws this path
                                    I had done the recharge from ICICI bank on 16th april 2008 for 599 Rs. Prepaid mobile.
                                    From my account the amount had been deducted but no message had been came from airtel regarding recharge.

                                    It happens with me as well, even i could not get any talk time so raised a SR regarding the same, and after 6 days the failure request and money debited has again credited in acc.
                                    I re charged on line through ICICI BANK net Banking Rs/ 220/- on the date of 03rd apr 2010 for phone no [protected],
                                    But after few minits i got smsin my phone that transation request failed due to transation failed as under your recharge plan this top up is not allowed Oxi trans ID[protected] .
                                    Know i requested to you kindly tell how i will get my mony 220/-Rs
                                    back
                                    It might have really happened.I was thinking to recharge my prepaid connection online but after going through above complaints I think It is very risky to recharge Airtel prepaid connection online.

                                      Respected Sir/Madam,

                                      I have purchased a AIRTEL connection postpaid number ([protected] in high rented plan with data card in cost:-3000/-) of last month (Feb.) from NEW VISTAS, Gandhinagar Kullu.(H.P) for official purpose. I am so harassed due to wrong commitment by the above noted AIRTEL office executive. Because before purchasing the connection I am confirming the whole information like data card downloading speeds, tariff plan and all things from your office. But when I have purchased the connection they are changed and there commitments. I am already AIRTEL postpaid connection holder from last 7 years I was fully satisfied with AIRTEL service and am also using your 299/-unlimmted GPRS plan in the cheap amount and here they are providing same service in 3000 with rent. After purchasing the same I m feeling that AIRTEL cheated with me. They have to committed speed 253.8 downloading speed. but speed is very funny. Always 8 to9 .when I have selected your service at here I m so glad after using the same .Nobody helps me at here and above office employee ignored for return the data card stick. I am affording this hugely loss. First time I am using AIRTEL third class service at now at here. When I am demanding another AIRTEL data card concerning person from above noted address then they have to provided me a cell number of your employ the they will also harassed to me with abusly language. Then i submitted a request of disconnect the above number at Kullu office on 14 Feb. 2009 and I told him for clear my pending bill but they ignored for that but they have not disconnect the connection. Now is still continuing. And bill is increasing now day by day .here customer care service also lazy. I have been reminding to above office customer care executive for disconnect the connection and they are not providing right way. Now my bill is 800/- and tell me what I do in this condition.

                                        I opted for a Airtel Broadband connection for my home on my wife's name,
                                        subsequently the Airtel representatives (Venkatesh [protected]) come to my
                                        house and inspected the premises and collected Rs 1000/= towards
                                        installation. (Application No: BA212702) He told me that he would come the
                                        next day for installation, he did not turn up that week so tried reaching
                                        him and he was not accepting my calls, i called up the call center (
                                        [protected] and spoke to a representative Asha and was told that my
                                        application was rejected due to non feasibility. Since Venkatesh had done
                                        the due diligence i demanded to know why Rs 1000 was collected in the first
                                        place and to speak to her Manager John, who assured to find the details and
                                        update me in the next twenty minutes. However this did not happen.

                                        On discussing this with my colleagues in office I came to know that many of
                                        them had a similar experience.

                                        Would like to know if Airtel operates this way or there is a scam here.

                                        hi., i'm pramod bohra contact numb [protected] n here to apply a serious complaint...i had applied for new landline connection for office ie., at no.373 80ft rd srinivasnagar sbm colony blore-50, a months back..one o[censored]r executive mr.giri contact numb [protected] had committed & promised to work on for a new connection n had been told tht new D.P is available for connection, i'd given him a cq of 1000/- & committed tht he wud gimme few numbers for selection..all d above was done as per...
                                        later the issue was i asked him for some more numbers, later i decided n called him up to start the process with number given previously, he dint turn up back n broke the commitment twisting his tongue saying tht D.P is not available & unable to start d work on new connection & without any hesitation he told me tht he wud return the amt...

                                        is this the way airtel ppl plays around the customers..plz stop all this crap n start recovering the complaints..expecting ur serious action on this complaint..plz take necessary n serious steps regarding to start n work on all d complaints...
                                        Airtel is simple waste!
