    my phone number is [protected].
    i have recharged my number with rs39 and sms pack was activated on 30 nov 2007. but today morning i sent msgs and i was charged with rs 1 per sms.
    i need sms every moment.
    this is very urgent for me...
    can this problem be solved as early as possible and can i be informed on my number after the problem be solved..

    First we had daily 100 msg free now we are charged 10 paise per sms. We are not satisfied with it. As i have student sim. So i[censored] could plz start daily 100 msg free it will be of great help to the students.

      I have got a complaint against your organization. I am one of the oldest customer but my problems are treated in a very perfunctorily way.



      a) My mobile number is [protected] and there is a Add on number [protected].



      b) I have opted for getting the bills by email. Although I am getting the detailed itemized bill for main phone number [protected] but I am not getting the detailed itemized bill for Add on number [protected]. For example if you refer my bill dated 23.10.2007, you may observe that the charges for principal number [protected] are Rs.1957.74 for which detailed itemized bills are given. Whereas, the charges for Add on number is [protected] is Rs.10,571.24 for which I have not been provided item wise bills.



      2. I contacted three times to Customer Service Centre but they were unable to resolve this problem. One person had advised me to visit the website to get the details of the bills for Add on number [protected]. But finally he gave me a complaint number only and told that there is a technical problem.



      3. One of your officers told me to visit Airtel office and submit a letter for segregation of these two numbers so that I can get separate detailed bills. However, your Gandhinagar Airtel office is totally ignorant about these matters and handled mu problem in a very shabby way and advised me that if I pay the Deposit amount then only they will accept the letter. My plea that I am the oldest customer but they seem to be least concerned with my status.

      (4) A lady called me from Air tel but she was only advising me the complaint number . I repeatedly advised her that such reply is being heard by me three times and i am interested that a solution may be given to me

      4. My Request:



      a) Please advise how can I get the detailed itemized bill by email for Add on number [protected].

      b) If you also suggest to segregate these two numbers then in view of my old connection will you agree to separate Add on bill however without any deposit.



      As I am tired of interacting with you I suggest that you may please forward this complaint to your chairmain so that a correct reply may be received by me or else give me the email id of your chairmain

      HI

      Airtel customer care service is pathetic they do not resolve the issue . I have the logged the complaint with Airtel withlog Id[protected] indicating the amount wrongly deducted but nothing has been don to it

      can someone from airtel look into this .
      Sir,I had never used this chat service and the amount of Rs.25
      Is being deducted also i never opted for jokes option to be sent to me by sms and is seeking renewal. It has become a nuisence
      either you stop this services flashing on my cell else i may have to approach consumer court to get rid of this.

      i have got a message from number 54444 to subscribe the cricket updates pack. that time i subscribed that pack but after some days in december 2007 i cancelled that pack calling to the airtel costumer care. he gave me 48hrs time to cancel the package but it still doesn't cancelled. my balance is continue to deducted. i called them several times but the result is same. due to this reason, i always be short of balance in my mobile.

      Iam an Airtel prepaid customer. I want my last 3 months incoming and outgoing call details.How to get that ?

      Please go through my words carefully and you will come to know what are the major problems faced by your common customer.
      1. Miss communication
      2.Miss guidance
      3.Miss behaviour
      4.Miss management

      I would like to bring your notice to some of such problems personally faced by me and which finally ended up with discontinuation of Airtel services.

      Starting from day one of the connection with [protected] as a post paid number my request was to keep my credit limit to 800/- which according to me is changed after three months of observation but which was changed the very next month, i was told if my bill crosses my credit limit my service will be disconnected prior to that i will be informed by customer care which never happened ( MISGUIDANCE)
      and i was over charged every month wiht increasing credit limit upto 2300 limit.
      First month i recieved the bill but after that i had to make a call to customer care and BEG for a duplicate bill (which does not gives u complete details) and each month i requested for bill for which i had to reconfirm my billing address which is so irritating(MISCOMMUNICATION).
      After few months i realized that i m being fooled with the plan so again i called up customer care and requested to change my plan i was ASSURED BY CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE that it will be done from next bill, which never happened (no response MISMANAGEMENT).
      Now MR.ZAFFAR the branch manager of airtel Jodhpur comes into picture whom i requested to discontinue my services.After going through my bill details he got my security deposit deducted from the final amount and asked me to pay the final bill to the Airtel office and he will get my connection disconnected.I cleared my due amount of 1600/-.
      After two months MR.ZAFFAR calls me again to my work place and says to pay 1200/- outstanding bill ...WHY? because when i was making my final due clear MR.ZAFFAR never informed me that i had to surrender the SIM card too which is a MISTAKE FROM HIS PART.
      Now he sends a recovery person who refused to take my sim card but instead threats me to pay the outstanding amount which i have already paid (MISBEHAVIOUR WHICH IS INSULT TO MY PROFILE).
      If i wish i can easily get this roadsider who just walked through my office, thrown out with the help of security.
      If a manager like ZAFFAR are there to trouble the customer than i m sorry to say that it's a matter of SHAME to your services.
      I work with a very well known international company and let me make u very clear i hold a very reputed designation in my company and have a very good status in the society. MR. ZAFFAR'S behaviour was insult to me therefore i request u to take some serious action and request u to prohibit such activity else i have to go to consumer court for illegal harressment by you.
      I dont want to make a call to customer care because they sleep and customer's request slips.
      Give your services for the customer...dont just force the customer.

      I had requested to unsubscribe for MKR TIPs. So far I had given six complaints, No action has been taken.       I am using airtel service from last 2 years, I am frustrated by airtel hello tunes service.. It changes automatically without giving any request.. It is happened 2nd time to me.. everytime i call to airtel customer care, they say I have requested to change hello tune through SMS, They say based upon their record and indeed i havent have done anything from my mobile to change hello tune.. I dont understand where shoud i go to complaint for..IS THERE ANY ONE WHO CAN HELP ME or SHOULD I SIMPLY DISCONNECT THIS AIRTEL ?? I have decided to file FIR against airtel as it happens twice and dont know in future how many times such things will occur. I have lost money for changing it again and again..

      It is my humble request to you that please make your customer care system proper and tell them to behave in manner also if you dont have good software system to track users hello tune and its request then BUY a good one..your executive says I have requested to change and I am saying i havent requested to change, now where would i go to prove that i have not explicitly change my hello tune..
      If you are not able to provide hello tune service properly then just SHUT it OFF..

      My account has been charged with Rs30 for utilising
      "for using beauty zone service Airtel".

      Actually I have not opted for any such service. Dont mislead customers and charge arbitrarily.

      Pl reverse the charges to avoid litigation/ complaints to TRAI.

      Though the amount is less, I will take it up as a special case.

      Awaiting your immediate action and dont ignore this complaint.

      I am one customer in your company, my mob no is [protected]. I had received one massage in his mobile from your office for full talk time, Erecharge of Rs. 222/-. As per the massage I had charged Rs.222/- on 16.03.10 in my mobile, but till today I have received only Rs.2.22/- talktime for the same.       Sir, I am a regular user of Airtel My Mobile no.[protected] since 2008.Today at0853.06 am I got a miss call from [protected]. I did not guess about this miss call, so I rang the number flashed on my mob.in miss call. From other side I was told that some Mr. Sanjay from AIR TEL speaking and informed me that I had won Rs.10 lac lottery from AIRTEL. in this talk I loosed Rs.37 in my mob. balance . AIRTEL launched any kind such Scheme and I actually got some or it was fraud. If it is fraud than I want to take some action from your side because some want to take benefit of your esteemed organization and may cheat some innocent persons on your behalf. Kindly, draw the kind attention of your higher officers so that appropriate action may be taken against such fraud person who is defaming you Good Name. I shall be a good witness in this matter. Pl. reply me soon.

        I, Mr shaikh Gulam gause having airtel prepaid connection no [protected], while I am trg to call for any enquiry or greiviences to the customer care no the reply comes some time that no does not exists, some time caLL recieved but when i am choosing option 9 for talk to customer care executive the call disconnect or reply comes check the number you had dialed, it means airtel is cheating with the people of India, or their customer care executive is cheating with airtel as well as customer also.In the may 2007 one sms i recived regardind 1000 sms and in just 50/- rs, then i give call to customer care executive and enquire about the scheme and customer care executive reply that all the local 1000sms is in 50/- then i enquired that local means what then he replied that local means maharashtra goa and mumbai's mobile no is local. then after full enquiry i activated after refilling of 50/- but after activation message also my all local sms were charged 1/-per sms, then i complained to customer care executive and also visit the airtel gallery at vasai after reciving message that wrong charges will be recredited but i am very sorry to say that now almost 6 months left not a single rupee return back, on yesterday 29/11/2007 i give one call to mumbai land line number where always my call charges were dedeuctd by 1.50rs per minute but yesterday the call charges for 1.30mnts call was 5.30rs. and many more question which required ample of time. airtel is awarded best service provider in the gsm service but I think airtel also want worst service provider award by customer. on the last month your customer care executive talk very abusive language,

        I am using AIRTEL in UDAIPUR RAJASTHAN since last 2 years
        on my connection few services is activate. Now I want to diactivate
        all but when I dail 121 tap start for customer care I press 9 but the actual problem start when I press 9 to talk to customer care and message comes that this number (which I press) is not a valid selection while in tape that number is reserve to talk to customer care. now what can I do for same.
        I am facing this problem since last 2 months.
        and for those services paid which i dont want at all.

        I Shrikant Atmaram Wagawad from Nanded (Maharashtra) have been trying to deactivate the GPRS connection since last two weeks. For activation I send the sms GPRSACT to 511 and for deactivation GPRSDEACT to 511 but since last two week due to your side problem it’s imposible to get deactivated GPRS connection.
        Sir, due to this problem without reason I loose my money from my Airtel card and is about more than Rs. 150. Why it is being happened with me I don’t know about this but why should I pay for the same? I complained about this to our nearer Airtel customer care office. I explained everything to them, but they just took down my Airtel no. and said me that there is some problem with the Server in this reason and we are trying to correct within a day. Sir, this is the 4th day but still my money is loosing from my card. It means not a single action would have been taken from them I thought they were just trying to neglect my complain.
        Sir, I am an Engg. Student and in tense only because of this problem. What do I do? Therefore I thought that it is better way write a latter to you. Sir, if this type of services your company gave to the customer, then why should they buy your Airtel services.         I'm using prepaid card of Airtel for last 2 months. Without reasons they have deactivated my services. When i call from my friend's cell who's having airtel. Customer care told that this number does not exist. You contact airtel relationship centre.

        Poor airtel relationship guys does not know, because they are the helpess people in entire Airtel business cycle.

        Airtel — excess debit for GPRS

        I sent SMS to activate GPRS on 10th May at 8.00 PM.and the GPRS activated at 10.00 PM. On 11th at about 8.00 PM I sent messag to Deactivate. Airtel is supposed to cut only Rs.15/- from my account but after 5 days, when I checked they have deducted Rs.75/-. In this connection I called thier Customer Care department number of times, but their executive disconnect the line and somethim do not give any proper reply.
        I sent 13 reminders to their Customer Care through e-mail and the only replies were Automated 'system is down shall get in touch within 72 hours.'. I also sent SMS to them. They are least bothered. This is the attitude of one of the leading Telecon Company.

        Airtel — increase in charges after changing to lifetime from prepaid connection

        I have airtel connection with nos-[protected]. i took the sim card with scheme of Re-.99 in some of the states like jharkhand, u.p., rajasthan etc. but later on i received a message from your side that with rs196 you can get your sim in a lifetime scheme with no terms and conditions mentioned in it.

        Still then i called up in your service center asking about a doubt of charges after lifetime scheme. but i was informed that therewill be no verification in any prices so i went along with your scheme. later on when i started calling through my cell i was charged Rs1.50 for all my std calls and re1 for all local calls.

        my question is that when you offer any kind of schemes, why dont you clear the terms and conditions implied before offering taking the scheme?

        why do you all just try to confuse us and try to make us fool in your stupid schemes like all this?

        why you all show something else and provide something else that is never beneficial to us?

        why do you keep such a staff that cant clarify your schemes to members and misguide them all?

        Airtel Prepaid — No customer care access & unwanted pre-deactivation of GPRS service

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I am unable to connect the customer care executive through my mobile ([protected]) since around last one and half month. I had complaint several times regarding the same but the Airtel Customer Care Executive are not even ready to give me the complaint number. At last one Customer Care executive gave me the complaint no.[protected] on August 22, 2008, but the result is again "ZERO" till date. I had e-mailed to Airtel customer care regarding the same and also received an acknowledgement with the commitment to solve the problem within 24 hours, but their 24 hours are yet not completed i.e. yet the problem is as it is (please see the provided copy of my e-mail as well as the acknowledgement of the e-mail).

        I got a GPRS activation confirmation message on September 08, 2008, at 11.28 a.m. after my request of GPRSACT, but the GPRS service was abruptly deactivated by you (Error: Network unavailable) at around 6 p.m. on the same day. I had complaint regarding the same at around 9.30 p.m. and got the complaint no.[protected] but without any commitment of time to solve the problem (please listen the recording (no.1) of the conversation provided herewith, which ended abruptly due to some unknown reason). Again, when I had tried to follow up on next day i.e. 09.09.08 at around 6 a.m. regarding the complaint no customer care executive was answering me though my call was attended by them (please listen the recording (No.2) provided herewith.)

        Since the last one and half month I am badly getting harassed by the Airtel e.g. sometimes there are excess deductions of amount, abrupt disconnection of my call (as mentioned above), no reply for my complaints and so on...

        Overall, as on today (September 9, 2008),

        1. I am unable to connect the Airtel customer care executive through my mobile.

        2. Unwanted pre-deactivation of my GPRS service (I don’t know how your are going to compensate it).

        3. ***THE WORST COSTOMER CARE SUPPORT.***

        Please take care of all the above problems and do something fruitful to me.

        I want to complaint regarding airtel top card. I m using airtel since more than 2 years & this is the second time happend that the top up card that airtel provides is sometimes useless because when u scratch the card half the numbers in the card cannot be seen . this card was brought from a nearest medical shop & the person just refused to replaced the card & i was told to visit Airtel gallery for the same just for Rs 30. It is not the ? of 30 Rs but of customer satisfaction . Atleast it should be replaced from the place it is bought from & why should the customer suffer for ur mistake . i hope u look into this.

        Sir,

        This is to inform you that on going through my pre-paid mobile bill account, since last few days, it is observed that an amount of Rs.2/- per day have been deducting from my account reguarly. As I am not aware of the reasons for this deduction, yesterday (04.01.2009), I called your Customer Care Service and one (Mr Rishi) and then I talked to Mr Baban. They informed me that a scheme has been activated on my Mobile since 24th November 2008 for which Rs.0.50 per minute will be charged on local calls and for that scheme you are deducting Rs.2/- per day. This scheme has been activated without my knowledge. Immediately, I informed that I don’t want such scheme & the same may be discontinued with immediate effect. He assured that the same will be discontinued within 9 hours. However, when I checked my balance today, to my shock, I found that again Rs.2/- has been deducted from my balance, without honouring the promise given to me. I strongly believe that this is unfair on the part your customer care representatives in activating schemes the without informing the subscriber and the poor subscriber have to pay for it.
        I now request you to use your good office and arrange to credit the amount debited from my prepaid account on this scheme with immediate effect since this scheme is activated without my request and knowledge.

        I've been facing the same problem. What Airtel is trying to do is very simple. If we can't contact Airtel, we can't register a complaint as per TRAI norms. If we go to court Airtel will claim that we never approached them in the first place and the case will be thrown out as we haven't exhausted all options for resolution. I'm a lawyer. Its time we sued Airtel together for fraud. Please mail me at [protected]@gmail.co. I am sure I can use my skills and my background as a lawyer from India's best law school and my contacts with consumer protection agencies to move TRAI or any other relevant authority so that Airtel stops perpetrating this massive fraud on consumers. I personally cannot handle a case as I work for a pvt. company, so you can be assured that I'm no trying to further my interest except that of bringing these companies to justice.

I just applied to change my Mob from post paid to prepaid on the Dt 09/01/2009 and also deposited all the document as per the Vasai outlet peoples asked me. But already five days over these outlet peoples are playing with me because before two days from Dt 9/01/2009 i have some cross talk with Mr. kishor Saha. And these guy told am the owner of the outlet Airtel cannot do anything. Go and complaint as your wish at anywhere. After five days when am calling to your customer care they told your document is not submitted. I think these Vasai outlet peoples are intentionally not deposited my documents. Am just explaining why this cross talk happen"On 6th Jan 2009 i went with all my document to outlet they told no bring other document and 7th Jan 2009 again i was there with all the document as they asked me but once again they told me no this is not sufficient bring other document like my Brothers PAN card Etc that time i told ok already i took two days of leave from my company for this small thing pls give me a concrete detail of the document and tomorrow i will come with that documents. Mr. kishor Shah told no its not possible. I can't confirm you that these document will be sufficient or not.

        After this i call customer care minimum 27 times some one told all services activated from our side pls go to the out let, Some told document not submitted. Some one told it will take 24 Hours some one told we cannot help you .

          airtel is a very big name and a respected brand..but today i had the most unplesant experience ever with the customer care service...i made around 5 or 6 futile calls.

          The executives there did not even bother to understand what my problem was.put me on a long and fruitless hold each time.i tried and tried to explain him what problem i was facing but the executive did not listen to me and finally hung up the phone...

          i was left helpless...now if the C C E behaves the way he did..where shall i go to rectify my problem...Such unprofessional behaviour surely did no good to me...

          Another problem is i keep on getting sales call from [protected] even months after i registered on DO NOT DISTURB list.
          as i am very old customer of airtel mobile i am very much angry with your hello tune service by dialing 678 no it was very much time consuming to make customer fool to deduct the amount without giving any output.I lost about Rs.100 to get the caller song only if you really care about your customer services you give to your customer write way to download it.

But still I am receiving promotional calls and messages. 2-3 times I had given complaint regarding this to your customer care. But your customers care executives are not rectified till now and their speaking attitude also not proper. Please look into matter otherwise I will take this matter to The Chair Person, Telephone Regulatory Authority of India.
            The complainants seems to have received no reply nor any remedies. I have applied for a new connection, but now I think Aircel is nor customer friendly.

              here this company provides waiver and committed whn it got over they will inform abt the rental charged.. but no information provided and thn charging the same amount...
              whn discussed with the company's executive firstly very rude talk of her on dt 29 nov.
              thn said that no information provided to customers regarding these charges whn th waiver get over..

              AirTel — GPRS WAIVER

              I REQUESTED FOR GPRS WAVOR. I WAS GRANTED WAVOR FOR THREE MONTHS. BUT IT WAS TAKEN AWAY IN TWO MONTHS ONLY, SAYING THAT MY BILLING CYCLE IS FROM 5 TO 4; AND I THEY ACTIVATED THE SAME ON 3 (i.e. A day before 4), which consumed the whole 1 month in 1 day.

              Airtel GPRS Mobile Conativity just Rs 199 only is giving this offer.                 I got new life time connection on 11.10.08. My sim card is rejected, I contacted in customer care but they did not give me proper reply.                   I never requested for the change of SMS plan from SMS mega pack (Rs 99) to free SMS mega pack of 1000 No. as i always do more than thousand to two thousand SMS per month. As i noticed my mobile bill details in Oct, 07 i come to know that i have been charged extra money for the SMS more than thousand in number and less than 2000 number. I asked the customer care on 29th oct, 07 and he informed me that in Jan 2007 this pack has been activated by the Airtel employee and so i have been charging for the same and i will get the waiver for the extra payment done so far. later i told to submit complaint by fax and also send previous bills showing mega SMS pack detail through fax at [protected] and i send all the documents as asked but all in vain. Airtel not only terminate my connection but also not given waiver for that.
                  I am really very thankful to this company for such a nice conduct.

                  AirTel — Regarding SMS pack

                  I got my Airtel number [protected] recharged with SMS pack of Rs. 103 on 21st March 2010. Company promises to give 300 free SMSes everyday (validity 30 days) on recharging the number with the above mentioned recharge coupon. But SMSes were not being sent, so I contacted the customer care. The person said that messages were not being sent because the account balance was zero, so I got my phone recharged with Rs. 15. After that, SMSes were being sent but the company was charging Rs. 1 for each msg. I again contacted the customer care but I didn't get any satisfactory answer, I have contacted the customer care for about 4 or 5 times but the problem still persists.

                  I would be very grateful to you if you help me with this problem.

                    Hi,
                    My name is Kush Vashishth, my complaint is that i have been requesting to drop my airtel mobile conection since september'07 last week, but till date they have not dropped the connection.
                    Till september'07 i was liable to pay the amount of Rs 5500/- and now as they have not dropped the connection the bill has increased to Rs 8000+ and they are forcing me to give the complete amount.
                    What if they doesn't drop it for few more months, will i be paying whatever they say?
                    They are calling me 4-5 times in a day which really effect my work, I am still ready to pay Rs 5500/- which i was actually liable to pay when i made the request, but not more than that.

                    I hope something will certainly be done in this regard.

                      I have registered for "do not disturb" facility with airtel before last 5 months. After that i am getting call from bank for loan, credit cards etc. I talked to the airtel costumer center for the same. But i didn't get any response from them. My contact number is +91 [protected].

                      AirTel — Do not Disturb

                      i have activated my do not disturbe in my phone [protected] a year back but on 11/08/09 -12/08/09 i had received more then 150 useless SMS from airtel. though i have regestered in do not disturbe yet i am receiving such useless sms and it really harashed me.
                      I have registered with Airtel DND service around 2 years back, things went good for 1 or 2 months and all of a sudden I again started telemarketing calls and sms. I am getting sms from names like TA-IMPORTER, MD-TIBBD, and calls from Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance. Recently I got call from Kotak mahindra thrice in 1 week. The reference number for my DND is S[protected]. When i speak to airtel guys they tell me that everything is OK at their end. I really dont know whom I should raise the complaint to.

                      i have also registered DND service but everyday received 15-20 sms like TM-JACKPOT, TA-JOBSALERT, TD-Security i was call many times to customer care center they told me jab bhi aap kai paas koi sms aye tub aap humko vo number batana aur vo sms aap kai pass dobara nahi aayega /////// means its my job everyday 10-15 times call to service center.
                      I have also registered DND service but after registering DND service i m receiving more sms from AT airtel. Made many complaints they still saying we ll look into this. Nowadays airtel service had gone worst. Customer call service is simply waste in airtel, so lodged complaint in mail but i had gone worst. Daily sending the same service message again and again. Dono why airtel had gone this much worst nowadays.

                          I am getting promotional calls from Airtel at 12 o'clock midnight. what can be a worst nightmare than this. Promotional messages are arriving at 2 at night. when i called customer care to stop all these promo calls and messages, they said it will take 45 days to stop this service. I want to know what kind of service these companies are providing and are they in 70's that stopping a service needs 45 days time. It is just that they want to continue with their promo for another one and half month. I am fed up with this kind of response from so called India's fastest growing Mobile service provider.

                            I am based out of Chennai, India and use a airtel pre-paid connection. I have given a complaint regarding some tariff change and the docket number was given to me. While I tried talking to the customer service agent to know the status of the complaint, the so-called customer service executive could not understand the nature of complaint when communicated in English language as well as the Tamil language. Every time when they asked me to hold the call disconnected after few minutes. I seriously have a doubt that the call is being disconnected wantedly.

                            Though I am not much worried about not solving my particular complaint, the quality of the employees they have with such a big brand name. It is really shocking.

                            Hope this complaint is noted by the concerned official at Airtel and reply given in my mail ID.

                            i mr arvind day before yesterday i lost my cell so i went to the airtel realitionship center and told that i wanted a sim of same number that s is ([protected]) plz started this number today only bcz i have to outof station just started this cell before 12.clock pm

                            My wife and I have a CUG connection, we had paid a due bill and was paid to a agent who come to my house and collected the money and said the connection will be active within one hour,the bill was paid and till date the connection was not active, i had called many customer care person and they gave me the same answer what the bill collector told me, and the last person i spoke with said i need to pay some more amount which is due, has per the customer person who called me told me your line is been deactived and told me to pay 1360.00 rupees towards the bill, i done my job, but this supervisor just blankly told me that nothing can be done till i pay some more money,so i find these customer person think we people are fools, no proper protcal is followed they give false promises to customes. what to do with such customers care guys. I feel my wife and I have been cheated.

                            Airtel India/Prepaid — Poor Service

                            Hi I would like to bring to the notice of the person or whoever sees to the complaints written by the airtel users.Before i had the airtel connection i thought that it was the #1 prepaid connection but once i started using it i was very well known to me that airtel is one of the most worst mobile connection provided to users in termes of customer care services and in terms of each and every service which the airtel company provides.I am very unhappy with the kind of service provided.

                            What happened was when i took the airtel connection as all my friends and family members had the same i applied for the prepaid connection for which i had to provide the documents and after that my prepaid service was started not more than a week was over and i received a message from airtel that your documents are not received and your service will be disabled if documents are not provide within 48 hrs to nearest airtel branch

                            When i went to airtel branch they gave me a form to fill up and said that we require the same documents again and your service will be started.After i provied the documents they said you are not a resident of the city from where you bought the prepaid connection and so you need to provide an ID proof.I didn't understand that if i am a native of a city which is in Maharashtra and if i am buying a sim card from some other city within maharashtra by providing the necessary documents so why are they creating such an issue .

                            Also the other problem is that with the customer care service .It's one of the most Horrible and Worst service that i have come across.I did an E-Recharge of 98 for 10 paise calling on airtel to airtel phone number.The validity was for 6 months as per the shopkeeper from where i did the recharge .The service continued upto april 08/04/08 and was suddenly stopped .When contacted the customer care for 1st time they told your service is till on but you might have called a little early before 10 PM. as 10 paise calling starts after 10'o clock.when i told that particular person that everyday when it's 10 then only i do the calling but he was not listening and was going on telling one and the same thing.When tried for second time as still the problem was on this time some other person assissted and said that the service was deactivated .I really don't understand what type of service they actually provide.

                            Since a couple of months i have not been able to call quite a few numbers from my mobile. I made several complaints including at their franchisee office. They are prompt in sending an SMS that the complaint will be looked into within fixed time (24 hrs or so) That's it after that no communication whatsoever. Recently i tried their complaint number 121. Even that number i could not get. Now i have sent an SMS as a last try to set the things right, failing which i have decided to change the service provider.

                            I am really dissatisfied with the quality of customer service in airtel... the system itself is faulty, when we dial 121.. we are just asked to run between options such as 2 or 1 or 7 etc.. but never reach a customer care person. If after half an hour of continuous effort, u r lucky enough to reach the cc person, then u realise, that the guys lack professionalism, no knowledge on the services provided by airtel and its procedures, and habit of hearing abuses wich seems that they are not willing to improve even after daily doses of abuses, no sense of service the customers...
                            the story at airtel local offices is no better.. even they do not know much on the services.. utter confusion..and lack of coordination with airtel centers..
                            Sorry to say, its nothing better than pathetic..this needs to be improved if airtel needs to maintain its market leadership in india

                            Airtel India — Poor Quality Service

                            I had an Airtel prepaid mobile connection([protected]) and i got a call from Airtel ,offering me a migration to postpaid service for which my documents were duly collected in first week of december. The company collected 300 rs from me for the migration and my account balance at that time was 340 in prepaid. My service was activated around 10th of December and i received a message that my documents were incomplete and i was to resubmit my documents at customer care center at Whitefield. I complied for the same and resubmitted my documents on 16th December 2009. Despite best efforts from my side Airtel deactivated my number on 22nd Dec 2009. After great difficulty and atleast 30 calls the connection was activated on 29th Dec 2009. The service has been deactivated again today. I want my money back and a compensation of rs 10000 for the agony and inconvinience caused by extremely indifferent and unprofessional approach of Airtel.

                            Airtel - Mobile Service — Poorest Customer Service

                            I am an airtel postpaid customer, repeatedly disappointed and frustrated with the kind of service provided to me in many aspects. I held an airtel postpaid corporate number, recently requested through an airtel official of a particualr bill plan.

                            My very first month's bill had been generated entirely wrong, with a wrong bill plan. I had requested it to be corrected and sent. A simple request for revision of bill.

                            It has been repeated poor service since then. Every single day, I had been receiving more than 2 calls, Every single time, a new person spoke. And I had to repeat the entire story of what the issue is. And every time the response was 'We'll get back to you'. The next call, I heard that I had not paid my bill on time. That's all they knew. Not even a single person from the customer care noted my complaint properly, till date. The huge number of calls and mails I had done were of no use. In spite of repeated explanations, without any notice, my airtel connection had been disconnected, messages and calls had been barred for no fault of mine.

                            I kept receiving continuous bills with increased amount each time, but not even a single time, my actual complaint or query was answered. They expected me to pay the amount they stated bindly.

                            My connection has been totally terminated now, again abruptly. Thanks to the excellent service provided by Airtel.
                            my experience with airtel is really horrible.I took this no on my one of my collegeu's name(that too suggested by airtel sales person) because of insufficiency of document at that moment.After that I requested customer care to change the number owner's name .but they refused to do so.from the last 6 months i started getting calls daily in odd times(including 12 at night) from customer care asking about my colleague because they said that he had some amount due .n it continues sometimes from lawyers shouted abuse at me.I have no contact with him & informed customer care multiple times but got no response. For the two months I was out of station,and when I came back,they already cancelled my no without any request from my side.Brilliant job done by customer care executive.
                            Now respected customer care experts, "Please Activate the online account for [protected] so that I can pay my 2 month's due online which i delayed because of this harrassment" .I am not able to view my previous payment history.

                            I donot understand how airtel hire their employee.Employees in customer care donot even know how to talk to a customer.They are expert NOT in customer service & problem solving but in shouting abuse at customers.The harassment I had to face from airtel for the last 2/3 months that too for other person's connection is unbelievable.In future for sure none of my family members will ever use airtel service.They are going to drop existing connection.I did 2 mistakes..1)decided to take airtel service.2)agreed to take connecction on some other person's name.

                            Airtel prepaid mobile — Very Very Poor Customer service

                            Airtel has got such a bad customer service, rather they should not have a customer service.. I don't know what the heck these guys are for... I activated a booster pack to get some 4k sms free but the hell it charged me for delivery report.. i activated a booster pack to get free internet for 24hrs.. the hell they charge me more... whats more they .. Well it would have been fine if the customer service atleast told me what the issue was.. but heck they don't even bother to listen.. they want to just play and have fun!! And if they are not interested to talk to us "the great ears of customer care reps" are bored and the hell they DISCONNECT the call without even hearing us.. what more distressing is that they charge us for every call made to the customer care reps..help me ..Finally when i got hold of someone i request them to connect me to their manager.. but they don't because simply they don't want to do that... I want to talk to BHARTI MITTAL and plead him to better the quality of customer care service... See Bharti sir thing is, a lot of the fault which your Airtel has can be alleviated by having a good customer care. We are ready to adjust , if you are ready to listen.. Anyhow I am so frustated and tired after my ordeal with Airtel that i am never going to go for Airtel again and also make sure none of my friends get any thing with Airtel.

                            Airtel Prepaid — Prepaid mobile recharge, Poor customer service

                            Dear Sir

                            I have recharged my mobile +91 [protected] for Rs. 50/- by online internet bank recharge, with transaction ID
                            BIL /[protected] / 0103 /[protected]/91990 on 4th Jan, 2011. I have received SMS msg that Rs 43.33 will be recharged after 30 mins from Airtel. But the balance has not been updated even till now. I lodged a complaint to Airtel from my mobile, and after two days I was informed that due to some technical reasons, the mobile was not recharged and the amount will be credited back to the Bank. As on today, the amount also is not credited to the account. So I requested you to either recharge the mobile or credit back the amount to the account.

                            When I spoke to the customer care 121, the customer service executives are so arrogant and never provided a satisfactory answer. Above all, they were disconnecting the call, without even having the courtesy. Do they realize the fact that customers are paying money to talk to them? They make a blank statement, "Sir, the mobile is not rechargd". Is this the answer we expect from a customer service executive?

                            The need of the hour is to teach the CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS to all customer service executives. This is not an expected behaviour from them. Do they recognize that the customer is paying for the call? I had to spend so much of money to talk to them, that is only to get arrogant and irresponsible answers.

                            So I request you to kindly do the needful.

                            Yes I agree with Nageswara I really wanted to complaint about the customer service representative.They were very rude and if they don't have the answer they will just disconnect the line .they don, t really value the customer and don't really realize that they are paid just because we are there for them .They should really Improved their customer service or they are going to loose millions of customer.This is India like us many would have face the same response from the customer service but again no one dare to complaint about them.                               I am facing call drop from beginning of my connection and poor coverage for last four months or so. I have been complaining for call drop and poor coverage through
                              1. Company’s web site
                              2. Company show room,
                              3. and Through Customer Care number
                              But I am still facing the same problem. On the site, it shows only three complains that too with three different statuses. (Closed, Cancelled, and Open) If I try to log another complain, it does not allow me to do so.
                              When I called up customer care to get the details today @ 19:50 pm, I did not get the satisfactory answer. Worse part of it was, even that call also got dropped and disconnected.
                              Airtel service has become a mental harassment for me now where in there is absolutely no communication channel to forward my complain.
                              I have already escalated this issue to TRAI and if no corrective action has been taken, I have decided to take it up with consumer forum.

                              Our company is the Division of RAMKY Group which has its divisions all over india. We are the vast Airtel mobile user under CUG package in all our divisions.

                              Following is our complaint and regular communications with your service providers at Hyderabad. Expecting your concern and services to solve our problem.


                              Dear Mr. Sambit Patnaik,

                              On last Friday (i.e.. 18.04.08) your person have come and inspected the booster at our site and told that the Service personnel from Airtel will take up the work within 2-3 days. A week passed, but there is no sign of either your status of our complaint or of your service person.

                              We regret to say, that we never expected Airtel which we felt one of the vast and sincere service provider would be so irresponsible towards its customers. We find neither your concern nor interest in solving our problem even after a month of our complaint and continuous mail reminders and calls. This is a great disappointment for us.

                              We are only the users of the mobile service, if it is not airtel, it will be some other mobile service. It makes no difference to us, except a small disturbance in our business communication for a short period. But you should understand that due to your negligency if you happen to miss even one customer, it is a great failure in your service providing, where as we already told you we have nearly 100 Airtel connections in our site.

                              Here is our final request to consider our complaint to be urgent and wish should be rectified at the earliest.

                              Our company is the Division of RAMKY Group which has its divisions all over india. We are the vast Airtel mobile user under CUG package in all our divisions.

                              Following is our complaint and regular communications with your service providers at Hyderabad. Expecting your concern and services to solve our problem.


                              Dear Mr. Sambit Patnaik,

                              On last Friday (i.e.. 18.04.08) your person have come and inspected the booster at our site and told that the Service personnel from Airtel will take up the work within 2-3 days. A week passed, but there is no sign of either your status of our complaint or of your service person.

                              We regret to say, that we never expected Airtel which we felt one of the vast and sincere service provider would be so irresponsible towards its customers. We find neither your concern nor interest in solving our problem even after a month of our complaint and continuous mail reminders and calls. This is a great disappointment for us.

                              We are only the users of the mobile service, if it is not airtel, it will be some other mobile service. It makes no difference to us, except a small disturbance in our business communication for a short period. But you should understand that due to your negligency if you happen to miss even one customer, it is a great failure in your service providing, where as we already told you we have nearly 100 Airtel connections in our site.

                              Here is our final request to consider our complaint to be urgent and wish should be rectified at the earliest.

                                FWP Connection Tariff Plan Change

                                Hi,
                                I had taken a FWP Connection from Airtel 6 months ago and want to convert to prepaid from current postpaid plan.
                                I have called customer care and visited airtel shop multiple times but no one has been co-operative in doing the needful.

                                I am sorry to say but the customer care is pathetic as each person has a different version of the truth.

                                I am a subscriber of AIRTEL.Using their sim for the past one year.But during the past few months i am annoyed with the daily service calls from AIRTEL with pre recorded message regarding "hello tunes" and "miss call alerts"
                                One call per day is inevitable.Call comes almost at the same time everyday,mostly evening hours !
                                I am also recieving frequent SMS regarding "FREE HELLO TUNE SONG DOWNLOAD" etc
                                Please help me regarding these unnecessary and annoying service messages and calls

                                  I have took connection of Airtel last month they peoples varified my address ,although i got two more existing connection of the Airtel,they given me new number of my new connection,but i am surprised that tht new numbers they gave me was already activated on someoners else name,I lodge a complaint at local dealer frm where i bought the new connection n surrender my sim with there SEGAM make phone, n lodge complaint with stongs words of alloted activated sim no. there response were totally surprised they nor refund me my money nor given any assurance of of misuse of sim no.

                                  I shocked more by the area officer base at Ahemedabad that Fault was negliable its routine ,i complaint if my sim no is used by some unauthorised person who will responsible.

                                  till today there is no answer from them nor they even tried to contact me the sim which was lying with them.

                                    I have a cell number of Airtel. They are deducting an Amount from my prepaid balance for Value added services but it was not working from last one year. I complain lots of time and have lot of Service request number they always told me that they will resolve the problem but never done.
                                    There helpline number keep me for hold and then after a long wait my call disconnect automatically this happens again and again.
                                    Now I need help for the same because there senior are also not help me out.

                                    Airtel — Daily deduction of Rs.1.99 without having any value added services

                                    Respected Sir,
                                    My mobile no. is [protected]. There is daily deduction of Rs.1.99 from my balance from nov '07. At that time I complainted to your customer care department & they said that your sms11 pack had activated. to deactivate send us sms & I have send it several times. But the deduction was continued. After that from last 1 month that is march' 08 whole month I talked to your customer care department everyday but sometimes systems were down, sometimes your agent were in hurry to end the call, some agents said that we can see the deduction but dont know the reason, & sometimes agents says in your record there is no deduction as such. I have also sms to 121 many many times. I have also visited your airtel gallery nearby my house in vashi (navi mumbai). All your agent says that your complaint will be solved in 24 hrs but your 24 hrs. never comes.
                                    This is my last hope. From now I am not going to recharge my mobile till my problem solve and I get refund of money.

                                    I have an Airtel Connection [protected] taken from Delhi around 6 years back . Recently I have shifted to Kolkata and before leaving Delhi and even after coming to Kolkata, I requested AIRTEL helpline to help me convert to a Kolkata Number. This was because My family is an AIRTEL family and we have got 6 airtel numbers Mobile + Landline Together. Sorry to say I was made to wait and wait after which I switched over to Kolkata Vodafone connection out of simple frustration . Till date there is no response. My only request is please tell me what's the amount due rightaway and wind up the connecton with immediate effect on confirmation of payment . A line of confirmation will be highly appreciated .

                                    I have a life-time airtel pre-paid connection ([protected]) since 2001. My validity expired on 17th Nov. 2009 and presently I am in 15 days' grace period. I have been trying to re-charge my connection since 18th Nov, 2009 through local Airtel booth. Every time they are re-charging my account a msg is being flashed back on my mobile stating - "Recharge not successful". Repeated attempts have been made in consultation with your help line and they say that 'technical upgradation is in progress & recharge would be done soon'. But my ougoing/incoming calls remain disrupted since 18th Nov, 2009. I want to continue with the above pre-paid mobile No. [protected]. Please help resolving the problem imdtly as I have an account balance of Rs.270-60.

                                    I have the CUG card of Bharti Airtel postpaid service of corporate customer from last 3 years from August 2006.My postpaid card connection is cut by the company without any notification to me & when I enquired about this ,company service provider show room is saying they have stopped my connection because my documents are not with them.
                                    When I am using the mobile last 3 years & I am regulary getting their bill & I am paying also foe that on prompt basis.

                                    I am the loyal customer of internet connection of airtel and we have another 3 connection for airtel lanline no of 4073639, 4073964 and 4270364 I hav complian on my broadband net connection no 4062631 in name of my father Mr. shyam lal mulchandani my father has submitted the bill of feb-march of Rs.780 on 9th of march but after that also airtel customer calling me and my father everytime and today itself the Raipur service center which is on katora talab again called me and sent 1 guy for bill collection and given me the notification that ur connection going to cut today 3pm itself

I have lodged my complaint so many times but airtel executives are not able to rectify and resolve my problem. Please do me a favor and try to resolve my inconvenience.
                                    1 more thing tht airtel complaint number 198 is absolutely useless because whenever i tried the call could not be connected to the customer care executive after i had to call on chargeable number 121 but they also could not resolve my outgoing calls problem.

                                    My name is Om Prakash Patel I am presently serving in Indian Army. I have an AIRTEL MP Prepaid Number [protected] for the last 2 Years or so, I had been receiving unwanted SMS-es especially from “: Love Tips of the day”: which blatantly told me that one rupee per msg is being deducted . I contacted AIRTEL helpline several times, but the customer care executives were not very helpful, every time I was told problem has been rectified .But I am receiving daily two SMS and Rs 2/- deducted from my main account. I feel very helpless and cheated from your side. Not only this many times the VAS services automatically started in my number & charged Rs 30/- then every time I requesting your help line nos 121 & 198 now these are also not helpful for me. I am feeling very embarrassing and helpless for losing my hard earned money every day. I am going to unsubscribe from AIRTEL for my other 4 family AIRTEL Mobiles and educate my surroundings with this fact if my request is not entertained fast.
                                    Now I request your good self to STOP all the extra services on my number with immediate effect and credit my amount in my account.

                                    Bharti Airtel Limited — Shifting request not entertained

                                    We registered a service request 4998774 with Airtel call centre on Oct 1,2011 for shifting of our Airtel landline,broadband and iptv phone no.[protected] to our new address. TAT given to us was 3 days till Oct 4,2011. We were told by local airtel people around that shifting of connection can take months but we choose to believe the authorities and relied on customer care.

                                    We received a call from airtel that our existing plan 999 is not available any more and forced us to change plan to 1099 or 1199. When we asked them how long it will take to shift they said this is not the right department and we are not aware.

                                    When nobody contacted us till Oct 4,2011 we again gave call to call center 198 on Oct 5,2011 and they assured us by 5 p.m same day airtel person will call for installation. We gave them this time also.

                                    Again to our surprise nobody contacted us entire day.We again called on Oct 6,2011 they said the open service request has been escalated and they want one last opportunity to serve and assured that by Oct 7,2011 11.00 am somebody from airtel will surely call. NOBODY CONTACTED THIS TIME ALSO.

                                    We again informed call centre and this to floor manager also. They provided us with Delhi Nodal officers no.[protected].

                                    When we tried calling Nodal officer the pre recorded female voice made us wait for approx 10 min for so many times with final outcome " OUR NODAL OFFICER IS BUSY CALL AGAIN LATER".

                                    We fail to understand does airtel think that their officers have right to be busy and we being their customer have duty to follow them as if by choosing airtel we have choosed headache for us.

                                    WHY are we forced to change our plan.We have shifted in the same city if the company have decided to discontinue the existing plan does that mean the existing customers will have to bear that.

                                    Can anybody help us.............we are feeling cheated by airtel every moment.

                                      I had a bill outstanding of Rs.3042.00 with Airtel for the month of October and i had made a payment of Rs.3100.00 on 13th November in two installments of Rs.2,500.00 and Rs.500.00 within a time span of half an hour. I don't have the receipt number for the second payment and the Airtel outlet where i made the payment does not have it too. Every time i go there, he says his server is down and he cannot access the number. He directs me to call airtel customer care number and they say they can not see the update at all. They have not released my out going call facility and this is going on for past two weeks.Please help me with this as they are being very rude and not helpful at all.
