I have dialled AIRTEL 121 bacause my Airtel Messenger is not working. I have told my querry but they disconnected the call and therefafter I called 3 - 4 times and now they Cancel/Hang my calls.

This seems to be a new STUPID idea to ignore calls they don't want to answer.

How will my querry will be answered?

Dear Sir,

I am working in the SEC Railway Bilaspur (CG) have a CUG service airtel mobile No [protected] supplied by Railway. I like to draw your attention that outgoing SMS is not working. After seding massege, The message is shown "Not sent, stored in the outbox"

My SIM was tested by other handsets but unfortunately same message is showing.

So, I am facing very occured position to give reply to incoming messages.

An early rectify wii be highly appreciated.

This is rajesh my mo no [protected].I have dialled AIRTEL 121 bacause i lost 10 rupees on[protected].i got 1 missed call from the number start with 923 on same day.But at that time i was not able to atend. so after few minuts i called the no and heard some IVR call duratiuon was 24sec.Then i called customer care 2 times first time CRO said will transfer to TI but disconnected the line so the second time i clearly mentioned the first call droped details also and asked to make sure the call has been picked otherwise you will be answered but the CRO transfered the call i waited 2minuts but again the call droped.Now they Cancel/Hang my calls.

This seems to be a new STUPID idea to ignore calls they don't want to resolve.

How will my complaint will be resolved?
On call she didnt show any empathy, she didnt check the reason for the balance depletion, stright way she said not possible to refund money.Pls check the detailes and revert me back as soon as possible.

i have made complaints many times to 121, they also gave me the complaint number. But did not give any solution till date i.e my balance which was deducted earlier not added/returned into my account. the complaint numbers are CBDCC[protected] ON 15.04.2011, CBDCC[protected] ON 16.04.2011 & CBDCC[protected] ON 18.04.2011.

Amount was deducted on [protected].

Please take necessary steps to solve the problem.

i have made complaints many times to 121, they also gave me the complaint number. But did not give any solution till date. My number is[protected]. Complaint was shift the number. My this complaint is solved in may 2012. But the problem is that your company asking to pay the bill of march and april . but i got the service o[censored]r number is in month of may. how could i pay the bill of that month in which i didn't got any service from you. The shifting request has been made in the month of november, december, january, feb., march, april. 2011.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I was told that I will be availing 75 GB for one month with the speed of 8MBPS at the time of broad band connection, however to my surprise I'm availing only 4 MBPS speed, I've contacted the customer care regarding this issue and I was told that in my area the available speed is 16 MBPS and they ask me to send a mail stating the issue.

Hence I requesting you to speed up my connection upto 8 MBPS as per my plan.

But till today it does not reflect in my phone balance.
I talked to airtel several times . They told me they added it to my account balance but my phone does not show it.

    I have been a customer of Airtel for the last 3.5 years with the post paid number +[protected] and has promptly paid all dues as possible. Recently, I had enrolled into a GRPS data plan for the same number and was promised that I will be charged Rs199/- for a usage limit of 100Mb per month.

    However, my bill dated 22nd September 2009 for the period 20th Aug’09 to 19th Sep ’09 (Bill number[protected] reveals that the billing based on the usage plan has been manipulated for excess billing and can be explained thus:

    My overall data usage for the billing period was 7,769 KB or 7.769Mb and according to the plan well within the 100MB usage limit. However, I have been charged a sum of 1038.40 for the data usage (see Bill page 7) and subsequently given a discount of Rs.500 and therefore a net charge of 538.40. The reasoning I have been given for this is that even if I use 1kb of data, I will be charged a minimum of Rs 5/- which is the charge for 1MB. So, technically if I open my browser, I will be charged Rs 5 all though in all reasoning a usage plan means that I will be charged for the total usage in the billing period! This is totally new for me as no usage plan ever measures duration. The billing is calculated on the duration + usage and discount is given on available usage!!!

    What is more distressing is that I have in the the meanwhile received another bill for October in which the charges are even more - Rs3335/- for 23.8Mb o[censored]sage!

    I am totally annoyed, angered and also have reason to believe that this billing is totally unreasonable as well as unethical. I find this as a means by which Airtel is trying to complicate billing to an extent that unknowing users are charged way above what is the fair charge. I cannot fathom how a reputed company such as Airtel is into such malpractices and deeply hurt by the same.

    I have already written to the Nodal Officer and awaiting a reply. I understand that the next step would be to go to the Telecom Appelate. Is there more legal action I can take on the same issue? I want to consider as much legal action that I can take from my side in case the issue is not resolved easily.

    Please advice.

      no video on any channel from past 10 days. Even after so many complaints, nobody has turned up to rectify this.

      My video is not working properly. It only displays distorted images. I complained initially on 13 August 2010. A person came to my house and saw the problem and left without resolving the issue. The complaint was closed without resolving the issue. Again i complained on tuesday. This time also complaint was closed without resolving the issue. This time nobody came to my house. Once again i complained on thursday. Again complaint was closed. Today i called, new complaint registered. This is the worst customer care experience one can have.

      I purchased a digital tv in DEC 2010, new stb singal problem After 15 day's new stb running, next 5 month face the problem of loss of signals completely, after complaining many times to customer care, a service enginner visited & changed new stb but not resolved the probelem. Our pc and tuner ok cheked by 3 time's computer enginner. But same problem faced again, I make a call to suratt service center of Digital tv, It happens Many times With in 5 months, Every Time for resolving the problem.
      When I asked to Solve the problem Permanently they replied to Change the stb with another old & repaired stb.
      I make complaint Many Times on customer Care.
      Every time I got commitment to solve the problem soon but till today no action done by airtel.,
      My question is How many time the same problem ?
      When it occoured First time then why not resolved permanently?
      You are requested to solve my problem as soon as possible

        I was fan of Airtel Postpaid service in Bangalore as I am using two airtel psot paid connection in Bangalore.In this diwali I went to my home town & dissconnected our old BSNL Landline phone & purchase Airtel Phone on my name with permanent address in Durg with valid document Driving License.Date purchase before diwali (14th Oct) connection works fine as usual & after 5 day Airtel exective has visited my house in durg & verified the address & told me once you get call from airtel tell them I have verifed so I will get point.I have not received any call for 5 days & suddenly i got message in my mobile([protected]) your address verification is not done & your outgoing call will be barred.I have immediately call airtel executive from Durg & inform about the same & she told me (forget executive name) there is no problem in your number & address verification every thing is fine. Befre coming to Bangalore I have paid Advance payment of 400 rs to airtel[protected]. I reach bangalore on 26 Oct.On 27 OCt My father has observed that he is not able to perform outgoing call from durg number ([protected]).My father can not talk with aritel customer care beucase he don't know much functionaly of phone so I have connected that call from Bangalore to Durg then to customer care 121 (that goes to Indore office) I have told them abt condition but they told me you need to come down to Durg.I told ios it that much necessary to come from Bangalore to Durg 1400 km just for small thing that to customer which is already having 3 connection from last 3 year in his name.But they were very much reluctant to provide me facility & told we can not start outgoing call & if you want tou can cancel the connection That was very much surprising & embrassing for me. Then I have call custome care from my Bangalore number [protected] to 121 & ask from help as Bangalore customer care are very muvh helping in nature they told we can'nt fetch info abt your Durg Number & given me alternate number of customer care (STD Number[protected]) I have called them again & told about the same But another executive (Mr Bhandari) told me to come down to durg via flight for another verification I told them it is not possible to come down for just a small work.He strictly told me we wil not provide you outgoing facility in Durg phone & cancel your connection. I told him to cnnect his Manager he has connected to his manager Mr Lokesh Kaushik He is the fellow who told we can not solve this problem as oyu are in Bangalore I tld him I am very old customer of Airtel I Have corroprate connection froj airtel for 3 phone But that Mangare has not helping me continously tellimg me yuo need to come down to Bangalore.I told him to transfer this phone from my name to my father name for that thing also he is saying you need to come down to Durg

        I have some question to Airtel
        1)Is it a way to talk with customer & create unnecessary problem with those customer which is already having thre old connection with airtel
        2)Is it compulsary to come down to Durg from Bangalore for just verification that already been done (1400 km from Bangalore)
        3)Tranfer of phone can e done by just writting a letter & faxing them to airtel office that thing also oyur airtel manager is not able to perform
        4)why there is dual behaviour from Bangalore customer care & chhattisgarh customer care Bangalore center is very helping in nature But chhattigarh customer care is just avoiding the problem & not willing to solve the customer problem.
        I am very much disspointed My airtel home twon number is still not having outgoing facility even though i have paid Advance payment 400 at present it ihaving 600 rs Advance money in that phone account

        HELLO SIR,

        FROM PAST 2-3 years airtel prepaid service has been started here, but since then we are facing "cross-connection"
        problem, when ever we make any call to any network it is connected to some other number, for 10 calls sure 5 calls are a cross-connected.So its a humble request that you kindly help out to over come this problem.

          I HAD BOOKED MOVIE 'WHATS UR RASHEE' TO BE VIEWED ON 25 OCT AT 4
          PM(TIME TOLD BY CUSTOMER CARE) AT 3:15 PM ON THE SAME DAY.
          I WAS ALLOTTED BOOKING ID 7075275.
          WHEN I SWITCH ON MY TV AT 4'O CLOCK THE MOVIE WAS LEFT OF LAST 15MINS.
          I IMMEDIATELY INFORMED THE CUSTOMER CARE AND THEY TOLD ME THAT SHOW
          WAS OF 3:30 PM AND SAME WAS NOT UPDATED IN THEIR RECORDS.
          THEY ACCEPTED THE FAULT AND FILED WAIVER APPLICATION WITH REF NO.
          1295971 AND TOLD THAT MONEY WLD BE REFUNDED IN 24 HRS.
          THE MONEY HAS NOT BEEN CREDITED IN MY ACCOUNT TILL 28 OCT AND INFORMED
          THAT THE MOVIE WAS CANCELED BY ME AFTER THE START OF THE MOVIE AND NO
          REFUND IS APPLICABLE.
          I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHY I AM BEING CHARGED FOR THE DEFICIENCY IN THE
          SERVICES OF PROVIDER.
          FIRST OF ALL THE FAULT IS OF THE PROVIDER AND SECONDLY MY REFUND IS
          DENIED ON FALSE BASIS.

            I am using airtel usb modem net connect no. [protected] form last 8 month,form last month i am using atrade software which requre telnet port 6013 to be active but during use of software i unable to open port 6013. i request sevral times to airtel airtel costomer care to activate port 6013 but no responce.Due to above problem i am fasing lot of poblem.

            AirTel — Airtel -USB modem and connection

            I have purchased the USB (http://www.airtel.in/wps/wcm/connect/Airtel.in/airtel.in/home/foryou/wireless+i... I assumed decent connectivity and bandwidth. I have used similar connection from Reliance.

            But unfortunately descion to buy the Airtel product was a wrong one. its been hardly a week and i haven't had one decent session on the net.

            I am not expecting anything less than a full refund of Rs.3500/-.

            I have contacted customer care on 121, 7070 etc. i have also requested the sales agent also for the same. i would not recpmmnd the service under the current service levels.

            i would be interested in the Airtel broad band connection. i have been using airtel products for the last few 5 years but this experience has left me sad.

            i would liek some help on this if company officials are listening.

              I am Dipta Sundar Dinda a customer of Airtel. My no. is [protected] it’s a kolkata circle sim. Now I am in Gujarat working as a Civil Engg. in Shapoorji Pallonji & co. Ltd. For doing internet in phone I called [protected] for manual internet setting on Oct 25 near about 7:52 pm. The phone was received by customer care executive of GPRS technical section. I want to complain against him. He uses so many slang languages to me; I have the recording you just listen the recording. What type of persons you have appointed for your company. He is so much uncultured manner less person. I want to know his name & address & what steps you are taking for him.                 Hello,

                I have had an airtel post paid number for the last 8-9 years. For last couple of years i have SI (standing instructions) given at Airtel for bill payment. Starting July, i started receiving calls from the collections dept. of Airtel to make payment. My concern was to identify the issue before i make the payment outside of the (working fine for all these years) SI, to avoid the trouble of running between Airtel and my credit card company in the event of double payment.

                Till date, i have not received any call from Airtel notifying me of the problem and next few possible steps. It has been 4 months since then and i have 100s of mails asking me to make bill payment. Eventually, they have barred my outgoing calls and incoming calls. While i am calling them daily to help resolve this issue, Airtel, instead of coming to my house to collect payment (i believe that is the way non-payment is dealt with) is making calls to my last dialled numbers asking them if they know me, and that there is an outstanding bill payment on my account.

                I feel completely harassed and at the mercy of Airtel to make payment and prepare myself for any confusion that may arise in the future. This in my opinion is bad service, for no fault of mine, despite holding the same service provider for the last 8-9 years.

                Airtel - Postpaid harrasment — Harrasment and Help

                Dear Sir,

                I left banglore in Jun2010. that time i had a airtel connection for 2years in banglore.

                Once i left banglore i came to chennai where my SIM card was on roaming. I calledup customer care asking them to disconnect my number (after i made the due payment). the customer care lady even responded stating that its updated in the system and will be done in 1day max.

                after few months i started gettin calls to my family and friedns who are in the list stating that, i had due amount to be paid which was around 2500rs (when my limit was only 1000rs).

                Everytime i replied i did not get any proper response from them.

                Note: Also everytime i replied to them, from different mail ids i used to get reply. i stopped responding to their mais.

                In My last converstation to them on mail i asked them to provide recording of the converstaion i had with the customecare where in she cleary told that the request will be processed immediatly.

                I have all the mail converstaions done with them as evidence.

                1. how the bill can be generated for July-aug end and by due amount cross 1000rs
                2. i clearly closed the connection and paid the due amount still they send out some bill stating that this is my due. for which i replied even.

                I can attach the mail converstaions which i had with the people even if you want.

                Two days back i got an mail from police station that they have sent a petition for same. what should i do and how should i proceed further.

                Do let me know and please help on how to proceed on this. thx

                  This is to bring to your notice that I as a customer has been following up for my complaint and without a customer’s satisfaction, your customer care people have been recording my complaint as been solved and reply that its resolved and post that there is no complaint from this no. Please note that I have been getting lot of problems with my airtel no. for past 1 year 6 months and all of those I have been getting resolved by making numerous calls to Airtel…

                  I am sure you understand and agree with me every time a customer calls a customer care 121 the problem encountered has to be explained from the beginning to different people there and each time its very time consuming & also irritating. BUT THIS TIME THE PROBLEM SEEM TO ME BIG & IS NOT BEEN RESOLVED… NO ONE IS EXTENDING ME SUPPORT FROM AIRTEL. “APPOLOGIES & SORRY FOR INCONVINENCE” is the only two word your cust. Care representatives know. I would request you to please go through the matter mentioned in detail in my email sent to Mr. MANU TALWAR, CEO M&G circle. Also I would appreciate if my phone is not disconnected till this matter is resolved I will not pay the dues for my September Bill, since there are some unwanted & addition charged been levied to me.

                  Airtel cannot fool its customers and you can not lived charges for what does not belong to me as a customer. Its not about money, it’s about unethical practices & unprofessional & casual attitude towards a customers complaint. Why is that decisions are taken without prior information to the user of AIRTEL.

                  I have written an email to you on 25th October and was looking for some solution to my problem, though Nodal officer had replied to my email but I am not satisfied. Since this issue has been followed up by me since September 27th, where the customer care mentioned that my bill amount is 5000 + and when enquired for how come the bill is so high he mentioned “Ma’am your bill has value added services component is of 2770/- which is for your gprs usage and he said ma’am you for currently on zero plan” I got really surprised, angry, and frustrated because who has given airtel and authority to change my 599 gprs plan to zero plan. It was quite annoying and I was quite uncomfortable with the whole issue. Ever since I am trying to get my case resolved and no one is taking ownership to answer a simple question – “Who changed my plan without my consent and notice?” With lot of expectations & hope from you I am writing this email to you once again.

                  Plan active in my phone was "Airtel Data card 599 Plan" according to which I should get 1GB free usage as mentioned in the link

                  However I have been charged 30Paise for 50 Kb. My total usage is only 432 MB. Also I have checked the entire itemized bill number of times and I discovered my GPRS bill plan was changed without my consent on 3rd September. Would you like to comment on it? THIS CLEARLY SAYS THAT I HAVE NOT USED 1GB COMPLETELY. Who has given the consent / authority to change my plan without my prior notice?

                  Therefore I fail to agree that the concern department has charged my correctly for the GPRS usage as per the GPRS plan active on my Airtel number. For your reference my AIRTEL MOBILE BILL FOR SEPTERBER is attached.
                  Secondly, let me also make it very clear that for all my other complaints I have been personally been involved and in getting my problems resolved with airtel.

                  Thirdly, as regards my official email Id Airtel has the same id which I have given long back.

                  Fourthly, Network problem is faced by me numerous times and every time I make a complaint I receive a call from airtel now the problem is resolved. How much time can one spend on all these miscellaneous things and the only possibility where I can afford to spend all my time calling airtel is when I work with you.

                  Lastly, call conference activation / deactivation issues have happened with me several times when this no. was taken for which I have not bothered to escalate the matter to Nodal Offier or CEO of Maharashtra & Goa circle. Now that the problem of GPRS has come … I have got totally exhausted with the attitude at AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE and I am very sorry to say that neither the cust. Care nor you “ NODAL OFFER” have done any good to me… my problem is still not resolved and my complaint 26th October.

                  Problem occurred when I had asked airtel to ACTIVATE my GPRS connection on mobile for AIRTEL 599 plan which permits me / user to use 1 GB free post which I will have to pay 10 paisa per minute. Well I was fine with this offer and requested for activation.

                  The issue was identified when I called airtel on September 27, 2009 to send E-bill to me so that I can pay the bill before I travel to Delhi on 2nd October. Although I representative I spoke to said as per the policy airtel will issue the bill only on October 5th 2009. on request he had mentioned all the billing details to me where by he said that there are Rs.2770/- charged in my airtel invoice under VALUE ADDED SERVICES which was really surprising because I have not used 1GB completely which I was sure. The customer care representative mentioned that I was enrolled for GRPS ZERO plan where by all my data usage will be on charged… It is really crazy that when a customer had asked for Rs.599 plan than with whose permission has AIRTEL put me on ZERO plan. When I told the same to the representative he apologies for the same and said the technical department will look into the matter…and I will get a message saying so and so amount waived off.

                  Going with what he said was I was quite for sometime but after 3 days again I call Airtel had to waste my TIME, EFFORTS, ENERGY EXPLAINING THE COMPLETE CASE TO A NEW REPRESENTATIVE AND HE ASSURE ME OF HIS SURVISOR WILL CALL ME SINCE HE WILL HAVE NO SAY IN THE MATTER APART FROM OFFERING ME Rs.500/- waive off. It’s not a question of refunding Rs.500/- OR giving some discount or concession. This is really not appreciated that somebody else may be AIRTEL boby in itself takes decisions on its CUSTOMERS behalf.

                  I have been following up ever since and three representatives said that I was on ZERO plan and other SAID THAT I WAS ON 599 AIRTEL GRPS Plan. When I have received the bill I have personally checked my usage is not more than 4 and my bill plan clearly says 599 plan for gprs. NOW what would you call this as…a height of casual & irresponsible and unprofessional work.

                  Now the fact of the matter is I have been talking to lot of customer care representative but till date i.e. October 25, 2009 my problem is not yet been resolved. Spoken to Airtel Customer Care – call reached Delhi cust. care and after hearing the whole matter the representative said “ma’am sincere apologies the call got diverted to Delhi Cust. Care we will be of no help to you will convey the whole matter to Mumbai customer care and you will surely get a call back”. This is not a GREAT SERVICE STANDARD and rather I would say over the passage of years the service quality of AIRTEL has come down. Calls were continuously been made on 1st Oct, 8th Oct, 12th Oct – Ms. Tanvi – Mumbai Cust. Care, 15th Oct – Manoj from Delhi Cust. Care, Neelum from Delhi again, Manoj from Mumbai & Kunal Kshatri from Delhi again. THE PROBLEM IS STILL UNRESOLVED.

                  Tried calling the Nodal officer, Mumbai – Cheryl Pereira on [protected] but the call was not answered and only airtel pre-recoreded message/ songs were played.

                  With lot of hope and expectation from you I as a customer want to kindly get my problem resolved. I HAVE NOT PAID THE INVOICE FOR SEPTEMBER AND WILL NOT PAY TILL MY PROBLEM IS RESOLVED.

                  LOOK FORWARD FOR QUICK SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM. RIGHT NOW I HAVE ALL NEGATIVE NOTIONS FOR THE AIRTEL SERVICE STANDARD IS A BIG QUESTION MARK IN ITSELF.

                  I WOULD REQUEST YOU TO RESOLVE MY CASE AND ALSO PLEASE DO NOT DISCONNECT THIS NO. TILL THE CASE IS RESOLVED BECAUSE THAT’S MY ONLY POINT OF CONTACT WITH MY OFFICE & FAMILY.

                  Airtel GPRS — charged me without providing GPRS service

                  i sent mail to activate GPRS service to AIRTEL office -BHILAI ( Chattisgarh)on 1.2.2008 at around 7 p.m.. got mail

                  at around 7.30 p.m.from airtel and asked me to send MO for recieving setting of GPRS.i sent the said message to

                  airtel 4-5 times, talked to customer care so many times,not recieved setting even on 2.2. 2008. finnaly i deactivate

                  my GPRS service on 2.2.2008 at around 4 p.m.

                  plz look into the matter. how come airtel charged me RS.10 WITHOUT providing serive.????i was appreciating the

                  I activated GPRS when i was in Pune on 14th March, as my card is from pune and the service was activated on 14th march 12.00 p.m . Then on 16th March sent the msg to deactivate the service at 10.30 p.m as i was leaving for Mumbai at 2.30 and i knew the service will be deactivated by then as it takes 4 hrs for the same .

                  But at 6.30 p.m i recieved a msg, saying the service cannot be deactivated and since then my Rs 14.99 is getting deducted everyday and i am not getting proper response from customercare service also .

                  I am really worred, as i was using airtel postpaid connection and GPRS rs 349/month plan regularly.
                  last months certainly i recived sms stating unbilled amount is 9000 rs (my usual bill is 450Rs/ month max).

                  latter i figured out that they are charging me from 26th dec for GPRS as per plan (30paise/50Kb) that was not in any way informaed to me and not activated by me. no activation SMS.

                  Airtel — EXCESS GPRS CHARGES WHEN NOT USED

                  I had a postpaid Airtel Connection [protected] for over 2 years and Airtel had charged over Rs.5375/- and nearly Rs.10000/- plus taxes in December 2009 and January 2010 respectively. These services were not used at all and despite telling them several times, they continue to bill and continue to show overdue charges as well.

                  This connection was terminated by Airtel on 16th March 2010 and till then I had paid all call and Plan charges except above disputed amount.

                  Airtel like some of the banks is employing money collecting agents now and many of the rowdies, rogues, scoundrels and goondas. Airtel is employing these Goondas to threaten people especially old people like mother. I have no choice but to go to police.

                  Now Airtel working lawfullly is sending messages to all the persons, whom I might have called or spoken to and also harassing them to pay, who are in no way connected with this.

                  It is time, that I speak to the commissioner of Police, Bangalore.

                  Does anyone have similar experience and how they had dealt with these crooks?

                    I have an Airtel connection that I was using for over 2 years. While leaving Hyderabad I contacted Airtel and asked them to collect all the money due and close my account as i was leaving. They however, did not do it. 4 months after coming to Bangalore one of my friend gets a call from Airtel and shes asked for my details and was pointed out towards me. I am asked to make the payment which I agree to as a settlement and closure of the account. I told the person that I would make the payment on Monday (26th Oct) evening. However the Airtel office on Mosque Road in Bangalore was closed at 5:30 pm. Hence i thought i would go back the following day to another office and pay the amount. But before this can happen, the airtel person is harassing me and threatening me that shes going to call all my contacts if i dont make the payment immediately. I told her if she wanted the money immediately to please send an Airtel person home to pick up the amount, however she was refusing. She began calling all my contacts and tells each of them that I have to make a payment of 3.5k when it is under 3k and that i am abusing her and to please get in touch with me and ask me to contact her on her contact number which she refuses to pick up.

                    I am utterly disappointed with Airtel services and it is unacceptable that they contact all my contacts to destroy my reputation when first of all it is not my fault.

                    I have already sent an email to Airtel and would like to make a police complaint as well for harassment and mental torture.

                    Please advice.

I am a Regular Castomer of Airtel Prepaid Survises. but now my sim card is totaly ruined. so that i call costomar care they told me you have Rs 49 chrges for another new same number sim and advise to meet nearest airtel office. then i go MOR COMMUNICATION CITY CENTER NEAREST ADHAWADI BAZAR YAVATMAL and they dimand me Rs 200 for same number new sim card at another way they dimand me extra charges and they have not a suitebale answer for that extra chareges. so thats not fair with me so that take right reaction and give me a right justice.THANK YOU

Due to unforeseen circumstances shown in my letter dt.17.08.09. The same was not precented for collection.hence it became time-barred.The same was returned for revalidation on 17.08.09 and a reminder vide my letter dt.15.09.09 was sent to you.                             Dear Sir, I have purchased Airtel DTH on 27th Sept.09. My ID No. is [protected]. Since then,it is not working properly in the night. I contacted ur representative (Mr.Amit & Mr. Gaurav) at Lucknow, but they did not attend the same. On 20th Oct. I lodged complaint at Customercare having reference no.1259150 but problem could not be rectified, when I contacted customercare in this regard, it has been informed me that they have received a message from local representative that "nobody was at home". Sir, it was a false report because we were remain at home. I again lodged complaint on 23rd Oct. Service reference No.was 1279875. I have received a message - ur service request reference no. is 1285115 for engineer related. On next day I again received a message that your engineer related reference has been resolved. Sir, I am sorry to say that the said problem is still existed.
                            Sir, my problem is DTH is not working at night. In day time, all the channels, except one or two channels, are working properly but in night its working is vice versa.

                              Hi,

                              I have a Airtel Connection - [protected]. Starting Aug 2009, I had to
                              make lot of ISD calls to Australia Mobile. I called up Airtel Customer
                              Care to ask for what are the rates for calling up Australia Mobile and
                              to check for better options (calling card or moving to
                              Vodafone/reliance).

                              The customer care person told me that the charges for Australia Mobile
                              applicable to me is Rs 6.4 per min. He also told me the rate for
                              Calling Card option Airtel provided but then in the call I was told
                              that I cam simply make ISD from the call as it is just Rs6.40. Just to
                              make sure Airtel doesn't charges me extra in their bill amount, I
                              asked the customer care for a proof and he gave me the call reference
                              id of this call[protected]. The person told me to refer this call
                              reference id in case of dispute.

                              Later on 15th of Sep, I received my bill from Airtel and they had
                              charged me Rs 10/min. The total calls I made to Australia in August
                              was for more than 24 hours and they charged me Rs 15410 only for ISD
                              call to Aus (excluding the taxes). I was expecting the amount to be Rs
                              9862.40 @ Rs 6.4. Extra of Rs 5547.60.
                              1. Applicable taxes are additional.
                              2. My 15 days of calls in Sept (before I came to know of the issue)
                              were again for over 12 hours resulting in over Rs 3000 in extra
                              charges.

                              I called up Customer Care regarding this dispute. The call was
                              forwarded to their Floor manager - Miss Johncy and she told that she
                              will follow up on this issue. She called me 2-3 times stating that
                              they are looking into this issue and she agreed that there is a fault
                              from Airtel and I should get the refund. She mentioned that the issue
                              will be resolved by End of Sept.

                              However, for the last 15 days, I haven't heard anything from Airtel. I
                              called up Customer care and asked to provide an update of the
                              complaint. I called them 4 times and still didn't get any call back
                              from any of their representative ot their Floor Manager - (Johncy or
                              equivalent). Now they are saying that that calling rate for Australia
                              ISD is Rs 10 and there is no discrepancy. I have been charged as per
                              the policy.

                              This is totally against
                              1. What was told to me in call reference #[protected]. I made it very
                              clear to the person that I will be calling Aus Mobile and not Aus
                              Landline.
                              2. What was agreed by Miss Johncy (call reference #[protected] that
                              there is a fault from Airtel and I will get the refund.

                              I have direct debit on my credit card and they charged extra amount to
                              my card for Aug and Sept bill and as of now I am worried that Airtel
                              is simply ignoring my request by Johncy not picking the phone and
                              Customer care just noting my complaint but not calling me back to
                              solve the problem.

                              Please let me know my options and how this can be resolved faster. I
                              am totally fed up with Airtel.

                              Airtel — extra rate charge

                              dear sir,

                              My cell no.is [protected], my sim card is of airtel friendz scheme, in this scheme call rate applicable to me after 10 pm till 8 am are 10 paise per minute to any local airtel no.
                              But on 18th june i called [protected] which is also airtel no at 10.15 pm .the call was charged at 50 paise per minute.
                              But when i called customer care executive could not give proper satisfaction to this query but only promised the extra amount will be credited to my account if it was companies fault. but no such amount hs been credited.
                              Then what should i do in this case, can i file a complaint in the consumer forum.

                                Sir/Madam,
                                I have been a customer of Airtel Mobile Services for at nearly seven years.
                                Previously, the connection was issued in my father’s name,Mr. Ranjit Kumar Ganguly.Later,I got the connection issued in my name.
                                The bill for the past month was paid through cheque(Cheque no-240616,Bank-Allahabad Bank,Aswini Dutta Road Branch,Kolkata) and has been reflected accordingly in my passbook,but Airtel refuses to acknowledge its receipt.I have even faxed the page from my passbook showing the necessary data two times.

                                It has been 12 days since they disconnected the line,allowing only incoming calls,barring outgoing calls.
                                I have repeatedly reported to Airtel and even emailed to the Honorary Chairman,Airtel,but to no avail.
                                I am enclosing the page from my passbook for your reference.
                                I request you to kindly look into the matter and render justice.
                                I would also like Airtel to shell out a compensation package.
                                I appeal to you to treat the case as an instance and the compensation package as a deterrant to telecom companies harassing customers

                                Dear Sir/madam,

                                When I was in Delhi, I had taken airtel postpaid mobile connection (advance rental plan for one year) no [protected] Account no[protected]. Before the completion of one year my renytal plan, i left delhi and came to pondicherry. Here I contacted two three times to local call centre to close my Airtel postpaid connection. they told me we have given the request to delhi, and your connection will be closed.

                                But my my connection was not closed, and there was no balance due from my side on the bill. After the completion of my one year advance rental plan, they have not contacted me and change my advance rental plan to 300/- per month plan. Now they are asking to pay 1287/ outstanding in my bill which I have never used the amount is only the renatl plan and late fee only.

                                I request to to please look into this, and do the needfull.

                                  I received SMS from Airtel in the month of August 2009 saying that you participate in Discover India Contest and win prize Rs.10 00 000. I participated in that contest and answered all the 220 questions through SMS and secured 1060 points. Airtel charged rs.3 per SMS. I have worked hard for daystogether to answers these questions. But we didn t receive any informations regarding the result for the past two months. Airtel is not interested in announcing the result. They are taking much more time. please arrange to get me the result.

                                    One day I got call from Airtel agent asking about add on card, any way I wanted to have one extra number so I opeted for it. Agent promptly came to office address and collected dopcuments and 500 rs.
                                    After that there was no show for next 8 days. I followed up and I got one number (It was not one which I selected), After 10 days it got activated, Then I got call for Address verification, I stay alone and there is nobody at home in office hours, so I asked that fello to come on Saturday, He never turned up, Then I got another call from arogant person saying I am standing at your doar step and how come you are not at home. I aksed him to come in the evening, He said I'll manage.

                                    Then one fine day my add on number got deactivated. I checked with 121 and got the answer Address verification faild. So I went to customer care, That lady raise request for re-verification
                                    3 days after she told me your number cancled and can not be done antything,

                                    I am not attol happy with this service. I Airtel customer care relly care for customers should resolve the issue atleast update the customer with current situation

                                      I'm a consumer using Airtel Mobile connection since I moved to Indirapuram (Ghazibad), Uttar Pradesh in the year 2008. I've never had time to analyze Airtel Services. But now I'm seriously facing a lot of problems with the network coverage of Airtel.. After umpteen number of calls, My problem is still not resolved & I'm vexed with their poor service..
                                      I have taken two corporate connections of Airtel,My mobile numbers are [protected] & [protected]


                                      I've called Airtel Customer Care and logged a complaint with them in the last week of July 2009 regarding the problem of network coverage. I was given a turn around time of 10 days & was assured a call back.. But I did not get a call back from their end.. I called them again during August-September 2009 a couple of times, to find the status of the problem.. For which, I was given a status that My complain has been escalated to Second Level Team by the Customer Care Representative.. The persons I've spoken to have assured that they will arrange for a call back & told that they are working with My case..


                                      I don't have any other option, that is why I'm putting forward the problems I'm facing with the service provided by Airtel Network, ,

                                      -- The signal strength is very weak in the location( Ahinsa Khand-II,Mall Road,Arihant Harmony) I stay.. It varies from no signal to two-three points in the antennae of the display..

                                      Some times is shows Roaming o[censored]P-Uttrakhand at my home,Many times I dial or receive calls from my home & they have charged me for roaming.

                                      -- The calls get dropped& voice clarity is very bad even if I stand in the balcony or near the windows because of poor signal strength.. This obviously makes no sense because I'm billed for every single call I make..

                                      -- Whenever I make STD/Local calls, I face the problem of call drop because of weak network coverage.


                                      I've even changed My handsets to check if it is a problem in the handset.. The problem is still not resolved and am left in vain.. I know it would be an easy option to change to other network services, but the issue is I can't easily change My mobile number.. I'll be obliged if this problem is considered sensitively to take the necessary actions ASAP..

                                      Airtel Mobile Services — Poor Network

                                      I have made repeated complaints at Airtel Customer Services for the past one year regarding poor coverage at my residence, but despite all the complaints till date there is no inprovement in the sevices. I really fail to understand as to when my complaint will be heard and when the covrage will improve. This isdespite the fact that I am a customer of Airtel for the past 11 years. I am just waiting for number portability so that I can switch my operatos

                                      Airtel — Poor network services

                                      On 18Jul2008 Airtel services are collapsed.I was not able to make or recive any call, from Airtel it was mentioned as Techical problem.The consumer has to suffer till 6pm.

                                      Postpaid-mobile — network

                                      MY mobile network is not good since last one month.incoming and outgoing calls to make not easily.please clear this problem.

                                      Airtel Postpaid — Very bad network

                                      I paid my all previous unbilled and current due amount of bill at BALA JI Airtel shop in KALYANI NAGAR on 6th October 2008.
                                      This amount was Total Due-250 Rs.
                                      I was told that i had received discount of Rs 250 because of network issue for a long time but when i went to pay my bill they said there was no commitment made about this discount. This was ridiculous for me.
                                      Then i paid Total due - 250 Rs and filled up form for cancellation. Now today is 16th octber 2008 and my connection is still active. Now i am not going to pay any further bill because this is not my fault.
                                      Everytime when i go to Bala Ji Airtel Outlet they say your conncetion will be deactivated with in 2 days.
                                      I paid my all bills on time for two years and because of my usage my credit limit was extended to 8300 Rs but because for network issue for a long time i dont want to continue with airtel.
                                      (Becauase for very poor network)
                                      (Because of fake commitment made to me - discount of Rs 250)
                                      Even when i paid my total dues and after filling up cancellation form they did not cancelled my connection.
                                      In future i will not be responsible for any payments.
                                      Thanks for making a big fool to your honest customers who pay their bills on time.

                                      Just showing Sachin Tendulkar doest not make your customers happy.
                                      Airtel shuold change his statement from "EXPRESS YOURSELF to FOOOOOL YOURSELF"

                                      Airtel — Poor signal strength

                                      Hi

                                      I would like to bring to your notice that signal strength is very bad in greams road, chennai . The place is full commercial place with many corporates if this is going to continue then all airtel usera will move to other competition where the signal seems to be really better even in high raise buildings
                                      I am writing this comment from Hyderabad. I am experiencing a similar problem with Air tel net work and the signal strength is very weak.I am not able to use my mobile on working hours between 8AM to 5pm.Even though we brought the problem to airtel no action has been taken by air tel.

                                        MY AIRTEL NO.[protected], I AM HOLDING THIS NUMBER FOR LAST 3 YEARS AND MY AVERAGE BILLING IS ABOUT 2500/- BUT AFTER I HAVE BOUGHT A BLACKBERRY PHONE I HAVE BILLED 20500/- AS AGAINST MY CREDIT LIMIT 5800/- AFTER ENQUIRNG WITH AIRTEL THEY SAYS ITS GPRS CHARAGES.
                                        I JUST WANT TO KNOW FROM THEM WHEN MY CREDIT LIMIT IS 5800/- HOW CAN I EXCEED 20500/-
                                        I REALY BELIVE THAT
                                        ALL POSTPAID SUBSCRIBER WHO HAS CONNECTION ON COMPANY NAME AND HOLDING A BUSSINESS PHONES WOULD BE CHARGED AS AT AIRTEL THEY KNOW THAT FIRST, CONECTION IS ON A COMPANY NAME, HOLDING A BUSSINESS PHONE COULD BE CHARGED AS THEY WANT.I HAVE CIRCULATED THIS NUMBER TO ALL MY INTERNATIONAL CLINTS AND NOW JUST BEACOSE OF THIS I AM COMPLETELY CONTACTLESS WITH THEM.
