I have purchased new postpaid connection from Airtel Chennai. after one week my SIM card not working with any of mobile phones irregular model/make. I have changed the SIM card three times

finally I got information from the Airtel executive that the problem with 64KB Airtel SIM card and advised to change 64KB to 32KB SIM card and problem got resolved.

for this known (Airtel) problem I have suffer more than month.

i have send a group message to 50 members from my airtel prepaid no [protected] with 2 message count on 04-10-09.although i have a offer of daily 100 messages free for one rupee.but they reduced my balance1+41 rupee from my account..when i contact their customer care they told that i have sent 49 message with 3 count and a 4 count for other..i have cross checked it several times..its not matching with what they talk..also some mesages were deffered sending...

Most humbly I would like to inform you that i was the Coustmer of airtel postpaid connection. I gave my application in their branch office for the disconnection of my postpaid number [protected] with clearing all my dues from airtel at velocity coustmer care centre for airtel (Rehari).They give me receipt and they said me that within a week my phone will be get disconnected and after i get a call from their costumer care office after a week on my another prepaid number that my postpaid number has been disconnected regarding my application and they ask me about the reason that why i want to disconnect the sim i also give them the reason for the disconnection. Then after few days they again gave me call on prepaid number that my number has been disconnected. I have all the receipts of my disconnection and my bill with me. Now they are sending me bill again and again every month they are mentally harrassing me , they are sending their representative at my home for the recovery of payment which how can i pay and why should pay.In this connection i also forwarded my complain to nodalofficer but there was not any response from their side. copy of that complaint is also attached below:-

I was having airtel postpaid number [protected] and i have given an application in your airtel coustmer care centre rehari (velocity) to disconnect my number on 18 of may and i also cleared my balance on that day and they gave me receipt and said that my number will be disconnected within week time approx. and i they said me to give me alternate number so that they an ask me for the eason of disconnecting my number then i gave them my prepaid number which is [protected] and they didn't take my sim they ignore to take sim. And after one week i get call from your coustmer care executive for query and then they again called me and they said that my number was disconnnected and i through my sim some were . and now after one month i get bill of 462 Rs. from ur airtel office . as i have already cleared my balance and taken my security deposit back from velocity. now tell me whts the matter why i will give this bill. i am not going to pay this bill . And when i again reached to velocity centre and asked your executive about the matter and she said we will see the matter and call you. Now three days have been passed and i didn't get any response from your velocity center and the madam was also misbeheaving with me and she asked me that we will not call you. You have to come here because we hAve not enough time to waste on you we are not your servants.
So please look into this matter personly otherwise i will go to consumer code and complain against your executive and your company for harrasing me .

While working with RIL I have taken Airetl Mobile connection No. [protected] (With A/C Id NO.[protected] for which the Sim could not be submitted to Airtel Surat office. Submission of same I approached the Jhansi Office and they conveyed the SIM can be surrendred at Surat office only. Latter Outsatnding on my account was cleared vide slip NO. 58221/15.07.09 at Sadar Bajar Jhansi Airtel office.
On 05.10.09 I got a call from Mr. H.K Yadav (Mobile no. [protected]) with advocate Ms. Verma (Mobile [protected]) recovery agent working on behalf of airtel with threat calls for submitting the O/S amount on the Mobile no. [protected]. It is surprise to my part that the connection was taken at my account ID with the help internal satff of Airtel only. Hence I request you to please look into the case and take legal action against concerned Airtel staff who has utilised this (Mobile NO. [protected]) and please intimate me also at an earliest.
you are also requested to please allow me to surrender the SIM available with me of my actual Mobile NO. [protected] at Airtel show room nearest to me.Kindly consider it highly urgent.

I have a Post paid connection [protected] (Bangalore), Airtel is charging unnecessary charges as Value added Services like Games Downloades, WAP, etc., As i aware that Airtel is involved in such illegal charges, i will not use any of these Value added services. But, Airtel is claiming that i have downloaded Games and used WAP.

My First question is how Airtel is enabled these features without my written permission. I want to take Airtel to Consumer Court and punish these people for unneccessary charges.

I want to ask Airtel that Am i a fool to download these rubbish games on my mobile, even though i have 24 X 7 Internet facility at office... ?

I spoke to 121 and sent mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com and also nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.in, but no such favorable reply.

If any body is faced the same problem, kindly let me know. I want to take severe action against Airtel.

i have complain several time for Discunnect my Airtell Protfollio manager service.Till now every week they are deducting Rs. 25/- . where i am not using. unnessary i my loosing my money but after complaint lodge I refund my money also but this is my duty to every Monday I lodge a complaint for this matter.
i donot need this service. so discunnect this service as soon as possible.

Respected SIr/Madam, 5 months back i lost my airtel prepaid sim and done block and transfer, later aftr 2 months i applied and got a duplicate sim card, from a local retailer who bribed Rs.200/- and i paid the amt. and took the sim card since it was emergency, but after a month my number has changed from [protected] to [protected], how is this possible ? who is the persn responsible, the retailer said he can't do anything, i want this retailer to be warned from a right person from airtel, this is a fraudlent activity. i can provide this retailer name and address if any person from airtel contacts me about this, because of this inconvenience from my numbers getting changed, i'm going to lodge complaint against airtel, as it's a matter of prosecution.

I have taken Airtel DTH connection on 2nd Oct,2009 in Ejipura(Bangalore) for Rs. 1750 containing 3 years 'Rest of India-New Value' channel package and is assigned customer Id: [protected]. The technical team installed the setup and antenna on that day itself, but I could not see any channel, only help channel 999 is coming; getting Error Code=4 stating 'You are not authorized to view this channel'. I had Airtel Prepaid Connection, Ph. No- [protected].
From that automatically Rs 184 been deducted on 2/10/09 at 1.00 pm. When I call to customer Care they said It is due to ISD CALL. but i did not call. Again at 3.30 the same happened and Rs 145 been deducted . Again the same reply i get from customer care. Customer care did not take my complain.

After that only Rs 6 was left in my Sim. At 5.00 pm my cell automatically light up and sound came saying " your ballace is so less so u will not be able to make the call" And the same is being repeted till now.

How money can be deducted without my call ??????????

from 543212 i am receving jokes every day & it is eating up my 1 Rs balance daily i had never asked to start any such service on my no it was forceful & if sms as STOP also still it is not responding now i am really FEDUP & DISAPPOINTED with airtel service AIRTEL IS REALLY BAKWAS.

I have given request for reinstallation of Airtel digital TV at my new address in Bangalore.
Each time I give a complaint a new complaint no is generated.

. For the last three days( 2nd October to 4th October) I have been given atleast 10 different time slots.
Neither is my request processed nor am i getting contact details of any authorised Airtel Service Engineer.

This is simply harrassment by Airtel.

( Pl note that all payments regarding this connection IN ADVANCE has been made to AIRTEL).

As per information collected from AIRTEL site and outlet,when we purchase a new Airtel connection and recharge it with any amount,outgoing call rate 40p A2A and 65p A2other mob.implemented automatically without free of cost for 30days.After 30 days this plan will continue in lieu of deducting Rs.1.50 daily.
However, according Airtel it is optional.If a consumer likes to stop deduction of Rs.1.50,he/she should send SMS UNSTARIFF to 121 and outgoing call rate will be Rs.1.00 in that case.
I have sent e-mail to [protected]@airtelindia.com on 05/09/2009 and 28/09/2009 and SMS UNSTARIFF to121.NO satisfactory reply been received from their end.I have been insisted on recharging with new plan.I think nobody is there in Airtel to solve problems of consumer.I never experience such a treatment before.

I am registering this complaint through mail after about 12 phonecalls over a fortnight. My problem is not rectified despite repeated requests.

I keep getting Error 2 which says that the Card in the STB is not Artel Card!

I complain, after 3 or 4 phone calls to ther Customer Care the connection works for an hour or two, and fails again. The whole cycle starts again - calls and so on.

I am fed up and am rueing my decision to opt for Airtel!

I am yet to see worse service than this!

i'm a retailer..my plan was changed to lifetime..i reported this to my dealer, he said that in our area all retailer sim was changed to lifetime.and also he said that i report this problem to his superior..still after 1week my problem is not rectified.rectify my complaint as soon as possible..(ALL RETAILER SIM WAS CHANGED TO A- A 10P A-O 50P) but mine not changed...

I have activate for Star News services from Airtel by sending SMS as StarN to 53030
I dont want this subscription now but Airtel company don't have any details for same but every time airtel is charging Rs.10 for same.Neither on internet or operator have any details for how to stop this service.Just messed up.

ive been begging airtel to give me a connection for the past 5months.
the reason why they cant give me one is cuz they don't have those blue boxes in my locality.
5 months back they said. it'l get done in 3 months.

i went the airtel store nearby and their reason is "govt has not given permission to dig"
one month back. AIRCEL dug the road for some cables.
and let me remind you that aircel was launched in Ktaka some 3 months back?

Pl. refer below.

1. My landline no. is[protected] Faridabad) from Airtel.

2.My Ourgoing calls were barred on 5th of July,2009 without any reasons.

3. When I called up 121 it replied (answering machine said " no dues pending," Now I spoke to their call center rep. on 121 only, they confirmed that outgoing is barred due to non payments.Then I gave the proof of payments -which was paid online on 29/0609 of Rs1335.00 thru credit card and given the SMS recvd. on my Mobile from Airtel.ie.A/c No.14859242,Transaction Id-864374 dt29/06/09, 07:00:02 PM.

4.I called up again and again for complain on 121, Now they confirmed the payments but showed their ignorance for the reasons of problem. They gave me some landline no. to lodge the complain but surprisingly that no. never worked. Then they gave me complain ref. no. 21737122. and many more nos. whenever I used to call them.

5. Till date My complain was not attended. And my Outgoing were barred since 5th July,2009.

6.Meanwhile I requested to disconnect the phone -thru login on the net on their site-they never responded rather called me for the payment.

7. Now they kept sending the bills for the Phone which was not working- outgoing were barred since 5th July,2009.

8. From July 20,2009 onwards they started giving calls for non-payments of bills,rather they started chasing me 5-6 calls a day.which was really harassing. It is still happening now and then.

9. Till date they have sent one more bill for the next month.Without realising the issue they r unnecessary creating troubles for the customers who have been with them for last 7-8 years.( I have two more landline connections from Airtel and everything is working smooth,but now I am thinking of surrendering them too , its is really paining )

10. So Anybody from Airtel is listening have some care for customer then respond with a sense of care.

I booked AirtelDTH thru online guided by vriti infocomon 25th July. Received a link to avail Holiday package for Goa. But the link says my Activation number is wrong. I tried to reach them by phone, mai. No response from Vriti Infocom till today.

When I contacted Airtel customercare, they distanced themselves that they are not responsible for this online trade.

How come, Aitel can allow such useless business ties with Cheaters. Beware of online cheaters.

Dear sir/ madam i am ankit gupta from indore (m.p.) i had summited to my documents and fees for the change of my sim conection ([protected]) from postpaid to prepaid, on the date of 22 september 2009.
and the time of taking this documents and fees they told me that this plan will be change into 24 hours. but still it could not be done. i was go their office from last 1 month and more but they are not talking ceriously
and it is my company mobile number and it number was alredy distributed in the my professional market and also person. so i am talking very loss.
and i can not do work without my that number , but company has deleted that number.
