This is regarding the complaint of mental harrasment and disturburing mentally to pay the bill of my friend. being the 3rd party, they have tracked my number from the detail bills and harrasing me to get bill paid by my friend and there is no law which says that you can call 3rd party for payment of bill if their customer dont pay it. and being just friendly relation, they cannot harrass me for whole day using bad words to me.

This is specially done by their executive name Pinkal Patel and her Team Leader on 19/9/2011.

They are not even apolozing next day wen my frnd has paid the full amount.

Airtel — Bad Language

Pls provide me full detial of this airtel mobile number, we are getting lots of abusive language from this number constantly. The number is [protected] it is very problematic for my family members (father, mother, sister & Bhabhi).

the same happened to me also...I am also the third party and the same person Pinkal patel(female) the team leader of Airtel componey harasased me using bad words and asking me the personal detail about the debtor who is the third party and not me... she is more interested to speak bad words and know the family and personal details of the debtor than recovery.. As theat person promised to pay the bill still she used to harass me and sm other relative ..she also used some cheap words for me ..

IN THIS MATTER..
SUGGESTION:as airtel is a wellknown co.. they vl have some privacy policy or some legal actions if the customer cant pay the bill on time ... The way they used to use their girls employee to speak bad words and to do cheapness they are really doing wrong..So this is a kind suggestion to take legal action against the debtr or inform kindly instead of doing cheapness especially with the third party..

    I am getting Blank Calls since last 3-4 days from the number [protected] on my Airtel mobile number [protected]. When I pick the call and say hello..the caller on other end remains silent and after few seconds disconnects the phone. When I try to contact back again this phone number comes switch off! It is usually happening around 9 am. I've sms'd on this number stating that if you wont disclose your identity, this number would be reported to police. But this fellow again called up yesterday i.e 20th Nov'11 at 10:59 am!

    Today (21st Nov'11) I've got the same BLANK Call from another number i.e. [protected] and the result was same as stated above. I m really annoyed about this. Hence you are requested to make this caller identity disclosed to me and a suitable legal action should be taken on whomsoever is doing so with me.

    I shall remain highly obliged if you take an effective and early action on the same.

        Dear Sir/Medam,

        I am using cell of Bharti Airtel having number [protected], since last 5 years. By prepaid scheme I had paid sufficient amount. On 2nd October I did recharge by Rs. 60/= Information is given to me that I shall get talktime of Rs. 50/= On 3rd October at 9 a m amount Rs. 37/- was deducted as charges for SMS Pack. I never requested for SMS Pack. Prior to recharge I cleared that I don't want SMS Pack. Concerrn person at Branch situated at Mangal Kunj Building, Jambli Gali, Borivali (West) informed to me that the amount deducted earlier for SMS Pack shall be refunded and now onwards, from this recharge having talktime of Rs. 50/= (Amount paid Rs.60/=) they willnot deduct charges for SMS Pack. After thismuch clearlity and hope for refund, amount was deducted

        I requested to Mr. Vikas Executive at customer care about entire event on number 999. They are unable to solve problem. They are unable to unsubscribe this SMS Pack. Amount likly to deduct again if they willnot unsubscibe. They are providing threat that if this pack shall not unsubcibe, charges are likely to debit again. I am unable to unsubscibe I am depends on them and if they are giving reply like this, where I have to go?

        Kindly understand content of this letter and hlp me in solving.
        Please take action and inform to me. If possible reply at my father's cell number [protected].

        Without my permission they are doing activate various service
        and as a service charges they are debiting amount.

        I never requested for any service. They trouble us .
        pls take a legal action against him

          Hi,

          My wife has an airtel number (cannot disclose the number for privacy reasons). She has been getting prank calls and SMSs from strange numbers which start with 54321 and are 13 digits long. The last digits keep changing but when the number is called back, it is going to AIRTEL Consumer service.

          The number got today is[protected]. They have been calling and smsing irritating and provoking content and this is HIGHLY UNACCEPTIBLE.

          I would strongly urge you to please look into this menace and get this resolved at the earliest as it is causing a lot o[censored]nwanted trauma to us.

            I am a customer of airtel digital TV. My Customer ID is [protected]. I had given a complain on 15th October 2011 as some chainnels are not coming . I was given Complain No[protected] by airtel digital TV customer care and informd that my problem would be resolved by 20th October 2011 by visiting airtel DTH executive. No body visited yesterday. I am trying to contact airtel digital TV customer care since yesterday evening by my registered mobile and not able to talk as after getting connected my phone is kept silent and after some times the call gets cut. My problem is not resolved.

              I have shifted my house from b-2 fortune park ,g-3 gulmohar colony bhopal to bunglow no 2 sagar parisar g-3 gulmohar colony. I was having airtel broadband connection in my older house with half yearly plan from july to december and have paid all the money in advance to the company.so i requsted the company to shift the broadband connection to shift from older to new house on 13th oct . The company said to us that they will shift the connection within two days i.e. 15th oct but they didn't do that even they don't even contacted to us . so we again complained several of time but they didn't do any thing .On 20 oct. they said to us that they cannot shift the connection due to feasiblty and they said it is not possible to give connection where u reside . But in the colony they have given 3 more connection and the colony is only of 30 houses and also our old house is only 100 m from our new house and they are saying they cannot do the wiring and neither they refunding the money.WE have given all the six month payement to them and three month are reaming and we have receive 175 rs free call in our plan every month.our landline no- [protected]

              Airtel Broadband — Shifting of Broadband

              Hi

              I had given the shift my Broadband to my new house address around a month back, however there has not yet been any action taken so far on the request. I called to your call center so many times, no one is responding to my query properly. They are keeping me on hold for half an hour then disconnect the line. I tried to contact your nodal and appellate officers. But no one is picking the phone. I am here missing the core value of Airtel “ Customer delight” .
              I am very sorry to say that Airtel is worst service provider in today market. Your customer care department has brought me in condition that I have to take a decision to choose some other provider.

              However before switching to other provider I thought I should inform you about the service of India’s No.1 service provider situation.

              Hope you should understand the pain of customer. You will take immediate necessary action.

              AIRTEL/BROADBAND — Give connection for fe days and disconnected it saying not feasible

              Through this forum I want to bring it to everyone's attention how has the service of Airtel has down graded. I requested for a new Broadband and Landline Connection on 17th August 2011. Executive from Airtel came to check the feasibility of providing new connection to me. He informed me that it feasible. For a connection I paid Rs 999.00 as one month advance rental. Form No- TBLR 275114.

              After several calls to customer care I was provided broadband connection on 6th day. They only installed broadband. Regrading landline they said they will be back in 2 hours but never came.

              I contacted customer care time and again and they kept on passing the commited resolution time. Every time they gave me a new complaint number. During this period I have got a list of complaint numbers. They stated telling me that it was not feasible to give connection even though I had a working broadband connection. After few days they disconnected my internet connection too. They just keep on closing my case without giving any update to me.

              List of complaint numbers are: 2755186, 2874572, 3094738, 3232622, 3344988, 3377752

              The irony is that nobody ever contacted me via phone, email or personally regarding my issue. NO UPDATE AT ALL!!

              The result is that I paid Rs999.00 and waisted so much money and time without getting any proper service from Airtel. At this point I have realised Airtel just wants to get money from new customer after misleading them of the service. Airtel no more cares at all for customers!!! I do not want to do anymore business from Airtel. Please return my money which you took without giving me service or I will have to take the help of government channel i.e Consumer Court.

                I took Airtel Broadband connection before 20 days.Last 5 days there is no internet connection available for me.I raised complaint to this below given number which the connection given person gave.I can't even not able to note Landline number because there is no device given yet.I requested for Wi-Fi modem that too not given.I paid 600 /- Rs for modem.I'm not satisfied with the service.Please remove the connection I would like to go other vendor.Im having only below details in my hand.

                  I'm Asit Kanti Sarkar.My mobile nu. is+91 [protected].My balance is being theft from last two days without valid reason and not even sending a message for charge.When asked customer care officials said (Like many case before) of the activation some extra services which never started.Some days before Rs 40.00 was cut from my account showing the plea of mobile T.V. and then they returned Rs 30.00 after many contacts.The company sends me unnecessary messages though DND was activated by them after my pursuance and now says there is no DND in my account.Seems It is they who make changes in my account settings and take charge from me.I'm really disappointed for their dealings and want them to take some steps for remedy.
                  yes, me too facing bal theft problem since long time, may be 4-5 times in last 1+ year

                    Hi,

                    I am using two corporate numbers [protected] and [protected]. On both the numbers Plan RA10 Cug 300 was activated (Which was Zero Rental). Suddenly on Oct 1st 2011, i got a message on both numbers that your Bill plan has been changed to RA 10 CUG 199 and now onwards I have to pay Rs. 199 as rental. I raised a concern and called to customer care but they were not aware of that. I dont have much usage on both the numbers and 199 is large amount to pay as per my usage. So I called again customer care and asked for disconnection.

                    I received a call from retention department and they promised me to change the plan again to Zero rental for [protected], so I asked them to cancel Disconnection. [protected] is used by my uncle and I dont know airtel has called for that number or not, but executive says they called thrice and after no response they had stopped services of [protected]. I called again to customer care and get the services restored. Now my concerns are -

                    1. Why the plan changed without prior notification.
                    2. If I am promised for zero rental again on 1 number ([protected]) then why not on the 2nd one ([protected])
                    3. I am still not able to see the changes in plan in my account information on myairtel.in

                    In the last call from retention department it looked like they were only promising for zero rental but were not sure enough. They asked me to check next bill and asked me to go for disconnection again if Plan remains same. Please address this issue otherwise I have to opt for disconnection of both numbers and look for other Telecom service provider.

                      Nowadays Airtel is activating unnecessary services like Jokes, Astrology,mms,cricket, etc... for the customers without their interest and without giving any prior notice. The customers are losing money on this and they are not even aware of this.

                      Only when their balance reduces to a greater extent, they come to know of this (especially people who don't know to make the maximum use of the mobile). Every time the customers are forced to stop the service by calling to the customer care / by sending some message. Airtel doesn't even reimburse the amount which the customers have lost unnecessarily for not having used the service.

                      Request Airtel to consider this on priority and stop / not start unnecessary services for the customers when they have not at all requested for the same.

                        My AIRTEL SIM which have been in use for the past THREE years suddenly failed to register starting today (June 11th, 2010). It has validity till Oct 2011. I'm not sure of the issue and have not contacted the nearest Customer Relations yet. Please I would welcome some suggestions.

                        I would like to inform you that I am a prepaid SIM card horder bearing cell phone number is [protected].It has been activated after submitting the documents required by the local retailer at Nilagiri on date 16th Nov.2011.Just after one week I received a message on my cell phone that my enrolledment form has been cancelled at your end.When I drew the attention to the local dealer about the cancellatoion of the enrolledment form he directed me to go to the custmer care at BALASORE and solved the problem by submitting the proper documents and to know the cause of cancellation.According to his advise I went to the custmer care at Balasore.At the custmer care without solving my problem the lady recepnist with black complex( as she did not give her identity to me) harresed me .She wanted a photograp of mine as it is in the voter identity card.When I told her that the photo which is in the voter ID was 20yrs before and it is immpossile to submit before you. She did n, t hear me.Although I placed before her my PAN card and two separate bank pass books for taking as address proof in liue of voter ID and suggested her to installation the SIM she became furious . she scoleded me. she misbehaved me. Not finding any other way in my broken heart I returned back and write before your august office for suitable justice otherwise I shall take shelleter under court of law as permissable to me.

                        I manikandan already applied for MNP to airtel & i submit my photograph, xerox copy of my voter id with UPC code & also i got the airtel sim from retailer, After a week a call from airtel customer care adout thay again they ask the UPC code and immediately i got the code and msg them, After that no response still now . Pls take my complaint as soon as possible and do the best service to me... my mobile no: [protected]

                          airtel has 3rd class services and customer care exc. are also 3rd class ,...my 2 airtel postpaid numbers are baared([protected])([protected]) ....and they are barred without any reason ...they generate my bill and didnt less my message pack free message balance.....now they saying that you have allow to send 100msg per day , but this rules is run from 27th of september , but they are calculating for whole month i.e my billing period from 8th september to 7oct.....you dont know how much problems i am facing from day before yesterday night ........contact me as soon as possible @ [protected]........hope you will get back to me soon...........

                            Dear Sir or Madam,

                            I got an Airtel mobile prepaid SIM card and a corresponding number about one and a half month ago on Bannerghatta Road providing all documents (without which Airtel offices does not start applications). So far, I haven't had any problems with the card. However, today I received a text message saying "Kindly be informed that on televerification we have found that your name and address is not matching with our database. Your connection will be barred in 24 hours." which is poathetic since I have not received any calls nor the address and phone number is wrong. The number is [protected]. I have already called customer care three times but no one could or wanted to held me. Where is the service for the customer??? Could you please do somthng to stop this number getting disconencted!?!?!?!?

                            Airtel wale madarchod hai.
                            Airtel Network is Stupid net work,
                            but we still connected with Airtel because of Number and Network.

                            Except Network quality, Airtel is worst in all the services i.e Call charges and customer care.

                            Especially the customer care service is very worst.

                            The Airtel Customer care executive don't have common sense, when we are explaining our problem, they disconnects the call with out information, this happening because they don't have right answer for our queries

                              I have AIRTEL ADSL Connection Number:[protected]. I pay Rs 1500/- plus per month to avail 2 Mbps unlimited with FUP at 30GB package.
                              3 days back I got an SMS informing that I have touched 80% utilization of my FUP limit. I checked my usage from airtel.in site and found it had reached only 16 GB utilization. Obviously the warning SMS was wrongly being applied assuming it to be a 20GB connection. I immediately sent an e-mail complaint to nodal officer upeast on October 18, 2012 pointing the mistake and asking him to rectify tha mistake as my package was for 30GB FUP.
                              I promptly got an auto-generated acknowledgement.

                              Yesterday, Oct 19 at 4.59PM I got an SMS telling that my speed has be truncated to 250Kbps as I have hit 100% utilisation. I promptly checked my utilisation from airtel; site and it was just 20GB and my access speed had ofcourse been reduced to a crawl of 250Kbps. Obviously, my yesterday's complaint had had no effect. I rang up Airtel Customer Service they informed (Mob:[protected]) they checked up with their system section and told me that nothing could be done as the sytem has been fed with 20GB FUP for my number.

                              I was dumbfounded to say the least. I shot of three e-mail reminders to the nodal officer and the appellate authority but till today 1.45PM Oct 20, 2011 no action has been taken to rectify the issue other than the auto-acknowledgement.

                              THROUGH THIS FORUM I WISH TO HIGHLIGHT THE CALLOUS,. CAVALIER, CARELESS AND CASUAL CUSTOMER CARE ATTITUDE OF AIRTEL PEOPLE. I DEMAND MONETARY COMPENSATION FOR THIS UNFAIR, UNETHICAL AND DOWNRIGHT HIGH HANDED TREATMENT METED OUT BY AIRTEL.

                                Non installation of DTH services by Airtel even after having received the payment a week ago.

                                On advice of the customer care of Airtel, I had purchased a multi Connection of Airtel DTH services, on October 14, 2011. My consumer number is [protected]. I made an online payment of Rs 3589/ via my credit card as advised by the Airtel Customer Care executive in a mail written to me on October 12, 2011. I was told that the connection would be installed in the next 72 hours, however it is a week since the payment was made and no action at all has been initiated by Airtel. Despite regular follow ups and constant conversations with customer care executives every day no action has been taken. The attitude of the executives has been frivolous and none of the executives that I have interacted with have been able to resole the problem. I have been assured byall executives that I have spoken to Ajay, Pooja that my problem would be resolved but this has not happened.

                                I am really ashamed to say that a company owned by the prestigious Laxmi Mittal is so unprofessional in it approach. Not only this is unprofessional behavior but also is a case of harassment of the customer and violation of customer rights. I have been cheated of my right to quality and prompt services and would like to emphasize that such ignorance by Airtel should not be tolerated and Airtel should be punished by for not delivering as against promised.

                                I would like to insist that Airtel be penalized for non delivery of services and a lesson needs to be taught for their serious negligence on their part.I would like the problem to be resolved at the earliest

                                I have called nearly 40-50 times to customer care but no one from customer
                                care perfectly tell me about how and when will be dth install.

                                Same here. I bought one HD box on 9th of January/2012 through online and till today (today is 17th January/2012) no phone call no installation has been done. If I call to the customer care only one answar "It will be done by tomorrow", that "tomorrow" will never come I think. It is one of the poorest service I have ever seen in my life. I advice to all not to go ahead with AirtelDH TV connection.
                                I also going through same experience, I made payment through mail link for change of set top box to HD digital. As advised by company executive Abhijeet sarawe/Iqabal (employee of vertex group of Airtel digitel) on 1 st of june, payment made through debit card. he commited me to get connection within 24 to 48 hours(also received mail too)
                                since last six days I haven't received any reply from the company.I called up customer care, they responded very rude.

                                I have decided to file FIR against AIR TEL DIGITAL in consumer court.

                                  Myself kaushlendra kumar , I am airtel mobile service user.On 20th of oct(1:03 pm) a massage appears on my mobile that my AIRTEL LiveTV sevice has been activated and 40 Rs has been deducted from my accont, although i have not subscribed any such service.I called to cutomer care people twice(deepak sharma and vikash) to inquire about how this could happen without my knowledge? ,they told me that I have subscribed the service but i havnt. I told them to let me talk to their senior ,call was tranferred but no one picked up.I request you to take appropriate and prompt action against the concerned people. My mob no is [protected]

                                    Respected Sir,

                                    We are having a broadband connection of 2 MBPS with 20 GB of high speed download limit. Our billing date is on 11th of every month.

                                    We are receiving notification that we have used up our 20 GB limit with usage details as well but from our end it is NOT POSSIBLE! From the beginning of this month we never had more than 20 kbps downloading speed and even webpages of facebook and orkut are taking time to open.

                                    Under these circumstances, it's not possible to exceed the given limit of 20GB. There has to be a technical error from the server end, this type of problem has never happened since we took our connection.

                                    We have only two users so it's easy for us to track the downloading activities and that's the reason of our confidence and lodging of complaint.

                                    We registered a complain in the customer care but they were not of any help. Requesting you to look into the matter and reply at the earliest.

                                      I am using Airtel Digital TV around 2 years , my account number is

                                      As per my recharge susrciption my validity last day was Oct 19th , and i
                                      called the customer care people and suscribed my a/c on 20th 12:15 AM for 1
                                      year valdiity . but i am deducted with rs 4.71 paise .
                                      if i had subscribed on Oct 19th , stil i would have lost a day .
                                      Its not acceptable fact that i wil be losing a day or i wil be deducted
                                      with Rs 4.71 .

                                        I have made an online payment to Airtel Digital TV through Vritiinfocom with their reference no 4094662 on 13-Oct-2011 HD connection by paying Rs. 2390/-. The person who was representing Vritiinfocom was Mr. Yoginder Singh. I have specific channel interest and was willing to go for a-la-carte packs, but this guy offered that i can take some connection and within 2 - 3 days i can cancel the pack and go for a la carte packs which i now came to know from Airtel direct customer care that it is not possible, as i need to retain the connection at least for 1 month. I was virtually fooled by this guy. Mr. Yoginder has confirmed that i will get connection with in 48 hrs that means latest by 15th Saturday. But that didn't happened.

                                        After waiting till Monday "17-Oct-2011" around at around 2:00 pm i made a call to airtel customer care "[protected]" (For telecall i choose Malayalam) and explained all the issues and the executive which is a lady (sorry don't remember her name) gave my customer id : [protected] and assured that i will get a connection before end of day. But nothing happened.

                                        The same day itself "Mon 10/17/2011 1:51 PM" i reported the issue to '[protected]@airtel.in', nothing happened till end of day.

                                        The next day 18-Oct-2011 at around 10:05 i again called customer care number to check on the status (again choosing Malayalam for tele call) and it was attended by one Ms. Athula, I narrated the entire story and she assured me that i will get connection by end of day and will get a call from customer care. At 3:43 PM, i got the reply from for my mail from "[protected]@in.airtel.com" that my issue is escalated and will be addressed. Nothing happened till end of day, no mails, no connection and no calls. At around 8:00pm i got a call from one Mr. Shaji or Sheji, claimed to be from their Bangalore office ([protected]) to check with me regarding the connection. I told him that i didn't get and moreover requested him to cancel my request as i don't wish to proceed further due to such bad service, he requested me to wait for 24 hrs more within which he will sort the issue.

                                        After waiting till today (19-oct-2011) 3:30 pm, i made the call again to customer care number to check the commitments they have given me (again selected Malayalam language for tele talk) and Ms. Smitha addressed the call and after telling the history and telling her on the difficulty faced she showed the courtesy to forward her call to her supervisor or team lead Mr. Shefi or Mr. Shaji (they are not telling their names properly). Again i repeated the whole things. I requested him to cancel my connection and if it’s not possible for them to reimburse the money, at least let me know via a mail and i have assured him that i won't take it to any customer courts or forums and am willing to believe that one major corporate company has Pick pocketed from me. After hearing this he requested to hold as he wants to discuss this issue and then without any reply he disconnected my call.

                                        I called back at around 4:00 pm (selecting Malayalam language for Tele talk) and it was picked by one Mr. Anzar and i requested him to put me to the team lead and he informed me that he has gone for a meeting and will call back with in an hour i waited till 5:45 pm (1 hr 45 mins) and none called back. So i again ringed the customer care number and it was taken by one Mr. Mohammed and he told that it’s not possible for him to connect to team lead as he is not supposed to do that and asked me to narrate my requirement. Without hearing the entire issue he stated that some backup team will call me with in 1 hour that is before 6:45 pm today, now when am checking the clock its already 6:45 pm and none has called me from Airtel.

                                        Am attaching the reply I received [protected]@in.airtel.com along with my payment reference details as an image along with this complaint.

                                        I saw a similar experience (complaint) in this forum itself http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/airtel-digital-tv-trivandrum-thiruva... . Now time is 7:05 pm till now no calls from backup team.. This is one of the worst experience i ever had with a corporate
