Hi,

On 29th of April i converted my prepaid Sim to postpaid after i got call from some airtel guy, he said i ll be getting 500 MB of data usage free for every month,& only because of this reason i converted my sim to postpaid. Now after getting converted ,they telling me i ll get only 200 MB of data usage free that to only for one month.If i complaint them they tell we are sorry for this , we cant do anything & all.& now i should use this connection for 3 months it seems,I want to sue Airtel for this, they forcefully making me use their connection by telling false plans .Please take action ASAP.

    Dear Sir / Madam,
    This is Narendran S V and my mobile no - [protected] . 'm a loyal customer for Airtel . I'm utilizing this accommodation for proximately 5 years.For the past one week i did'nt acquire the network coverage in my locality. I have dialed the customer care number - 198 but they did not respond me felicitously for the first time they hung the phone like anything, for the second time they made me wait for a longer time but then no one answered the call. With frustration 'm going to change the net work.

    Then one more thing is that once i bought a recharge coupon of Rs.50/- lamentably it got wet due to that few numbers were expunged. Immediately i called the customer care number and i asked them to reveal the 16 digit no for that i have asked to trace that 16 digit number with the help of serial no or whatever its above that scratch pad. The only replication i got from the customer care is that we can not give the 16 digit number if you want to top up your mobile means you are obliged to buy a new card. Through that way i have lost Rs.50/-. Its not possible for everyone to keep the recharge coupon card safely there are a chances where we miss them. The money which we lose becomes a profit for the company and its the one way of cheating the public.

      Daily 2 rupees getting deducted from my airtel mobile balance for kannada movie mms2 subscription service from airtel. But i have never activated such service.Please help me deactivating all such services from my mobile. My mobile number - [protected].

      AirTel — AD 54321 service

      Dear Sir

      I never subscribed the service AD 54321 on my Cell Number [protected], but from 1 month when the IPL has started its sending update which comes without my permission and also deducted money regarding this

        my mobile no-[protected].i recharged a night pack on 30th april 2012.but till date it has not activated.i conveyed my problem to airtel customer care about 50 times from my no and 10 other airtel no.but everytime they didnot give me satisfaction answer and put my call in hold and cut it.after they blocked my no to contact with them. So kindly solve my problem.with regards.

        Airtel — Night Pack not being discontinued

        Inspite of several calls (about 20 calls) made to Airtwel for de-activating Night pack on my no. its not getting disavtivated.
        It got activated automatically now its not getting disactivated.

        33 paise is getting deactivated daily and this is going for a month now nearly.

        Please resolve it as soon as possible.

          My name is Mohamed Haneef (Mobile: [protected]/[protected]). I have applied for the airtel broadband connection recently, paid the money and waiting for the broadband connection to be installed at my home from past 10 days.

          I have been calling the Sales agent Mahesh (Mobile: [protected]) even since I have given my application and he has been giving some fake stories and not giving the correct status.

          Many a times, the technician will call me and say he will in 1 hour to install a connection but he will never come.

          Today I called Airtel Agent Magesh's phone, checking for the status. The representative in place of Mahesh was very abusive and shouted at me in a bad manner. (Why the [censored] do you keep calling me again and again he asks). I am completely dissatisfied with the service and more over the behaviour of the Airtel agent to the customer. Why would I even call him when I am not expecting a service from him? Is it not his duty to call and provide an update.

          I have been a customer of Airtel from past 4 years and have enjoyed the service. Having such agents to represent such a noble company creates a bad image on the market leader.

          I kindly request the concerned authourity to take the right action for the indecent behaviour of the representative.

            Myself Aditi Aggarwal

            I had AIRTEL BROADBAND CONNECTION till the month of Feb 2012. Then I had to shift from Bangalore.
            That,s why I had applied for disconnection of the connection.

            Within a week, AIRTEL people disconnected it.
            And because of deactivation of my account, I was not able to pay the bill online.

            A representative (engineer) from AIRTEL came to my place for collection of modem n wire.
            He took the money from me (Rs.1101 , my billing amount for the month of Feb) , assuring me that he will close my account after payment.
            His AIRTEL number is [protected]

            After around one month, I received a call from AIRTEL number [protected], and the lady from another end was very rude to me.
            She said that they are going to file a case against me for non-payment of dues. I didn't expect this kind of behavior form an AIRTEL representative.

            Then those people gave me the number of Rajesh ([protected]) to contact him regarding my problem.
            He assured me to solve my problem within 2 days.

            Then again yesterday, I received the same call from AIRTEL.

            This is not the way to treat the customers.
            I have already done the payment and this is not the problem from myside.
            People from AIRTEL harassing me a lot through these calls.

            You can check my records.
            Every-time , I have done the payment on time.
            and now i have shifted from Bangalore and still i am facing lot of harassment.

            Please help me in this case.

              one year before Airtel is the best network, but now a days it's a worst network and customer care.
              [protected] this is my number, they activate any SUBSCRIBE services and take amount, i called to customer care but no response, this is the last wARNING.
              DEACTIVATE ALL SEBSCRIBE SEVICES
              IF THEY ACTIVATE ANY SERVICES THEIR OWN, I WILL GIVE COMPLAINT ON COURT

                For somebody in airtel responsible to hear the customers PLIGHT

                COMPLAINT COPY SEND TO AIRTEL

                Response from your staff is adequate for record purpose but USE LESS in solving a minor or trivial issue.

                I have an AIRTEL MONEY account, of which the MPIN is blocked only after the first transaction (I am said owing to my using wrong PIN). Now the executive checking my antecedents say my date of birth is wrong (actual date I gave on phone is not what you have on your records, god knows how it is wrong with you). Now I approach your side on cell (numerous times and numerous hours) I send plenty of emails. Your prompt staff call me N number of times, say "SORRY FOR THE TROUBLES" assure to solve it "IN 24 HOURS" Later send SMS and assure to solve it in "THREE WORKING DAYS".


                I do not understand how FOOLISHLY you people take the customers for A LONG LONG RIDE.


                Yesterday also I was called by a GENTLE MAN from your side. Asking VERY SWEETLY "SIR PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR DIFFICULTIES ARE OVER/YOU ARE SATISFIED" etc, when you did nothing to solve the issue FOR 2 WEEKS.

                PROMPT RESPONSE ( is it a drama) BUT NO ACTION SINCE TWO WEEKS.


                FORGETTING MPIN IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. Please check up with (even some sundry) people who conduct online payment (how they solve mpin related issues).


                I have handed over a copy of my PAN card as a proof for my date of birth to your so called customer relationship center at Pattom, Trivandrum almost a week back. Again send number of mails to you. NO USE.


                You have a beautiful structure for customer care and grievance redresses.

                3. Appellate Officer etc etc. Action or reaction is shame for not only Bharti Airtel but for all customers using your services. I feel ashamed of my self.


                You could not find a solution for a silly issue for 2 weeks " ONE CUSTOMER FORGOT HIS MPIN"

                  Hi All,

                  I request your attention on the bad quality of customer service provided by Airtel Digital TV in recent past. As summary of my experience, I would like to highlight that I have tried all possible means to get the resolution of my problem but it still exists. Please see below the date wise (Year 2012) summary of the event:

                  Airtel digital TV connection customer ID - [protected]

                  27th Apr: Registered a complaint for "NO SIGNAL" in Airtel Digital TV thru customer care number "[protected]" with complaint reference number "18197872".

                  28th Apr: Complaint was resolved by Technician without fixing the problem with comments "Customer not contactable". I did not get any communication from Airtel and waited for problem resolution.

                  29th Apr: In the morning, I again called the above customer service number to get the status and I was told that my complaint has been marked as closed. When I asked them about the reason, they said customer was not contactable; but when I asked which number they tried, they did not have any answer. I called at-least 5 times to get the proper status of my problem but phone was put on hold for different reasons and call was disconnected. Airtel can check the records.

                  I again called on the same day in the evening and requested to re-open the ticket, they confirmed me that my problem will be resolved in next 1 hour and I will get a call back for confirmation, but I did not get any call back and the problem still persists. Later, on the same day, I sent a mail to dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in email id for escalation and timely resolution of my problem but no response.

                  30th Apr: No response or communication from Airtel. I sent couple of follow-up mails in the morning and evening to dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in with Cc: [protected]@in.airtel.com. But again no response.

                  1st May: I received a response on mail from [protected]@in.airtel.com stating that complaint for video issue has been registered with the Service Request number "18263266".

                  2nd May: Problem was actually resolved by the engineer and he demanded for Rs.100/- as service charges. Few points to note here are
                  1) Customer care executive did not inform me in advance that some service charges would be levied.
                  2) Problem was not in my home, instead it was because of improper installation or bad weather, where as customer I could not do much to fix it or prevent it.

                  We were already pissed off by the service provided by Airtel and denied to pay the service charges. The engineer said that the problem will happen again for sure and he will not come again to fix it.

                  On the same day, the problem re-occured again, I am not sure if the engineer had any role to play in that.

                  3rd May: We registered the complaint via customer care and requested the problem resolution. We were told that the problem will be resolved by 3:30 PM on 4th May.

                  4th May: I called the customer care again and talked to Floor supervisor Santhosh, he confirmed after cross checking me that for this case, I do not need to pay Rs. 100/- service charges and the problem will be resolved by 3:30 PM on 5th May.

                  5th May: In the morning, I again called the customer care and asked for the status. This time I was told that the problem has been closed because I denied to pay the service charges. This is not the first time the problem has been resolved without discussion / agreement from my side.

                  On the same day, I sent another mail with details of my overall experience to dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in with Cc: [protected]@in.airtel.com and asked four questions in this mail:
                  I want the answer to below questions:
                  1) What is customers fault in above case for which he should pay service charge? (Except that he has Airtel Digital TV connection)
                  2) What are the options available with customer to fix the problem without paying these repetitive service charges?
                  3) What is the guarantee from Airtel that after paying the service charge the problem will not re-occur with-in next 10 mins to next 10 months?
                  4) What is the best option available to any customer to get the problem resolved ON TIME.

                  But again no response.

                  6th May: I got a call from Airtel Karnataka Nodal Office saying that it is mandatory to pay Rs.100/- as service charge for each engineer visit after six months warranty period. But I asked the above four questions on the call, they did not have any answers. I requested them to send me a confirmation on mail with answer to above four questions.

                  7th May: I got a response on mail from DTH.[protected]@in.airtel.com saying that it is mandatory to pay Rs.100/- as service charge for each engineer visit after six months warranty period but no answer to above four question.
                  Nodal complaint Reference No. is "[protected]"

                  I am highly dissatisfied with the quality of service provided by Airtel and moveover interest shown by authorities to resolve the customer concerns. I have already paid my subscription fee till December 2012 and owns a HD recorder box. I have requested Airtel to either provide good service or refund my money paid towards subscription (till December 2012) and Set top box.

                  Please help me in redressal of the problem.

                    Airtel — installment problem

                    I purchased one Airtel prepaid sim and I am rechaged Every month Rs. 99 (Easy life time validity) starting month of Installment in[protected] and december 12 months completed. But your company massage again one month you paid and otherthan lifetime validity. why?
                    Please check and details has send my emial and I recharge statement has send.

                    Airtel DTH — installation issue

                    i got the connection and registered with the customer care and was alloted CID [protected] and was promised that the installation will be done on 24 hour but 3 to 4 day i wait for your technisian when the installation was not done i contacted Customer Care and was told that the same will be installed on 24 hour and your technisian has come and not given proper response he told me i installed your instrument on your terrace other wise i can not install you dth instrument please help me i am fade up to take airtel digital tv other wise please give suggesttion to return your airtel dth .
                    They realigned my dish after 23 days of the complain being registered, wanted money for realignment altough airtel says its free. after they went the channels stopped coming after 3 -4 hours . now again i have complained and now they want money again to come and attend to the problem !!
                    I have used airtel for 1 year and trust me its not worth it, NEVER will they respond to your compain in 5 to 6 days and totally unprofessional to work with. the customer service is very very poor . and are the "yes " sir " yes mam" type with no insight or authority.
                    If you want ot be frustrated like everyone i know go ahead but trust me you will curse yourself for going ahead with airtel DTH.
                    they are not interested in this business and their customer service is pathetic !! it took them 12 days to install ! and now 23 days to realign and after that my signal disappears !! what a joke even street vendors have better customer service.

                      I had bought a post paid SIM from Airtel on 24/10/2011 wiht daily local 100 sms free with rental of rs.60/- .The talk plan was power talk plan of Rs.99/-. My SMs of Rs.60/- buffer was activated only on 16th Nov.2011. This SIm with NO.[protected] was bought only for the sole purpose of sending bulk SMs to Sales Manager. They overcharged me with Rs.1937.00. The matter was taken up with REach Mobile, Anna Nagar, Chennai from where this SIM was bought and they asked me not to pay. In the meanwhile I started getting calls from Collection executives of Airtel. The matter was taken up with Senior Manager, Mr.Dhinakaran of Customer Care who also agreed that I was overcharged and asked me not to pay. On repeated calls from Collection executive despite this, the matter was again taken up with Mr.Dhinakaran who promised to take it up with the Collection executives and promised that henceforth I will not get any calls with abusive language and threatening calls and also mail confirmation for overpayment will be done. No mail came. Finally again on 6th March, 2012, Notice was sent to me through Legal Advocates. As I am working, I had not time to take up legally and was no inclined to spend any money for the legal services and not to avaoid any legal hassles I went and paid the money At the Airtel outlet, Reach Mobile, In the meanwhile had gone twice in between to Airtel outlet to enquire about the status and the matter with them, Sr.Manager , Mr.Suresh, refused to check and divulge the details of the payment on two occassions and was utterly rude and discourteous and both the time gave excuse that the server is not working etc. After the payment was made by me on 14th March, I could finally meet the Branch Manager, Reach Mobile and he put me on to the executive who issued this SIM and who also confirmed that I was overcharged and as The Store Manager , Miss Abhirami was available, the matter was brought to her notice. After that have 3/4 times got in touch with REAch MObiles and Ms.Abhirami who both promised that the matter is under investigation but they are yet to revert to me. IN the meanwhile as the harrassment continued before I made the payment, I approached Appallette , who after various exchanges of mail, agreed that I was overcharged and that I should appraoch the Reach Mobile for refund. This matter was also brought to the notice of Reach Mobile and Ms.Abhirami and also mails exchanged were forwarded to them, but they are yet to pay me the refund. Hence request you to Kindly take up the matter with Airtel for MobileNo.[protected].

                      Expecting a favourable reply from you at the ealiest.

                      Airtel Mobile — Undue Overcharges in Bill

                      Would like to bring to ur notice that i have taken the above said SIM to Hong Kong and used it as Data Card. But when I came back and got the bill, it was a stock as Airtel has added charges, which are unbelievable. I am also enclosing the copy of the bill for ur kind reference. I[censored] go through the bill u will see that on 14th June, same amount is repeated more than 10 times and similarly on 15th and 16th June which is not possible. Neither there is any consistency in the pulses used nor the amount used per minute.
                      What I feel is that when I connected for the first time, they have used that as reference and multiplied the amount.
                      Further, the bill also shows that I am connecting and disconnecting every 2 or 3 seconds which is practically impossible.
                      In 3 days I have not used the internet for more than 10 minutes per day but seeing the bill, it looks that I was sitting on the internet for hours.
                      Would request u to pls look into the matter and pls try to to help me.

                        I have raised an International Roaming request on Wed 2nd May for mobile [protected].My sister is due to travel to Australia on Sat May 5th and she required this service for her work there .The payment of 3000 was accepted in Koramangala Bangalore Airtel Office by Airtel Officer Ramya and i was assured the service will be activated on Friday 4th May..On Saturday i was shocked to see that the service has not been activated .On checking with the customer care ,the payment has not yet been updated by the Airtel office and so my sister had to travel to Australia without any International Roaming resulting in her being completely cutoff from any kind of incoming /outgoing communications. More ever she was unable to give or receive calls from the people who were supposed to pick her up causing unprecedented difficulties to her and mental anguish to her and my parents .It is the 7th May as of today and there has been no progress of this request even after speaking with the Airtel floor manager Abdul Hameed and Pankaj(Bangalore)
                        I have been talking with these representatives for the last 3 days trying to get this issue resolved .Moreever i have given them the transaction details of the money being debited from my account by Bharathi Airtel .I have been charged Rs 3000 and the service has not been provided at the required time .Negligence by Airtel has led to a girl being completly cutoff from others in a foreign city and this is simply unacceptable
                        I had taken a prepaid airtel SIM on 23/07/09 and submitted the necessary documents which the dealer had asked to provide. I was given a call twice from airtel for confirmation of my address. However, from 13/08/09 my outgoing services, including calls to the customercare, have been barred. i contacted my dealer ASAP and he was very, very reluctant to help me out and suggested that i contact the customercare. getting through to a customercare executive is really, really time-consuming.however, i lodged a complaint on 14/08/09 with a customercare executive(shonali is her name and the complaint no is[protected].she assured me that her supervisor will contact me WITHIN 1 HOUR DEFINITELY. but 50 hours have passed, alas!! i had lodged another complaint with another executive(complaint no is [protected]) and this time he said SURELY WITHIN HALF AN HOUR my service will be restored.. I AM WAITING TO KNOW THAT WHETHER HALF AN HOUR MEANS HALF A MONTH IN AIRTEL LINGO.

                        i am very certain that i wont be ever provided my service and i have no other option to be back to my previous service provider. all airtel can provide is the highest degree of dissatisfaction.

                        I have newly started a retail outlet for all mobile prepaid recharges In Aurangabad at central Naka, MGM road, by name of Galaxy Travels.

                        I had been calling several persons past one week in their distributor list in Aurangabad for providing me with Sim cards & recharge sim to provide service to customers.

                        The reply from there end is “we are coming” but no one turns up. I have all the other mobile cards & recharges except Airtel.

                          I have been cutting daily 2Rs by Airtel for the service of call reducing. This service is activated on my number by Airtel without my confirmation. I requested Airtel to stop this service. I called customer care more than 10 times, but still this service is not deactivated yet.                               i went to the retailer and submitted it again.the airtel official guys who collected my documents also sighned it and took it.but my sim is yet not active its almost 15 days . the distributor is called many a times by the retailer he always says it will be done by tomorrow

                              its my most important official number!! i need help .

                              I am using the airtel services for more than a year. i am in post paid services. my mobile no is [protected].But i am wexed by the forced activation of VALUE ADDED SERVICES without MY CONSENT. Which may cost some rupees afterwords/or at instant. for ex. today i.e.on 18/2/2008 by hrs 17.18,regarding the HELLO TUNES.I received one more message by hrs 17.19 regarding the proceedure of selecting the HELLO TUNE by calling toll free No.151395.And by hrs 20.18 i received a messages, THANKING ME FOR downloding the REHMAN NEW AS A HELLO TUNE and they fixed 3/-per min. to call 543211 in this regard.And they applied HELLO TUNE to my mobile [protected], WHICH IS DONE WITH OUT CONFIRMING ME AND I DINT GAVE ANY CONCENT THROUGH MY MOBILE.I called immediately the cus.care of airtel toll free no.121 and had a talk with their representative mr.srinivas regarding the implementation of hello tune with out my concent. He accepted the impose of HELLO TUNE, and unable to answer how the system/server /technology is implements VALUE ADDED SERVICES by force, and as per my request they have given me a complaing no[protected]. If we keep quite they start of charging the petty charges of rs10/- to rs50/- for instances, for which generally people have no time to recover and atleast many dont know how to recover and whare to recover. I request to investigate the procedures they r following to cheat the consumers. I called up the help desk and send mail several time, but they are saying some technical problem. When I said you have already delayed 12 days in bill generation, I should get more time to pay the bill, but they didn't agree. How this is justified? If they are not meeting their service level agreement, why should customer suffer?

                              Airtel GSM — Harassment and torture by All department of Airtel; Not activating my Number

                              Hi,
                              Its been a month that I have been in Chennai and had taken up a new airtel corporate connection in Cheenai on around 10th of August. the number being [protected]. Since I was staying at the company guest house, I told manoj, the sales guy, that I do not have nay address proof. he told me that I should give my guest house address only and he would get the verification done there. I specifically told him that I will vacate on 13 sept which he said the verification will be done before that.
                              The verification was done on 15th and my number subsequently disconnected for no fault of mine. Now, when I had a word with the Nodal officer in Chennai on around 24, seeing nothing being done through customer care, he got my no. activated immediately and asked me to give my fresh documents in any of airtel showroom in a week's time. My number was again disconnected in some 2 hours. I again talked to Nodal officer, he said If i give my documents, only then my number would be avctivated.
                              I gave my fresh documents with Rs. 500 for the second time on Saturday Morning 11:30 AM with a promise from the Manager that the number will be activated by Tuesday 10 AM as there were holidays.
                              Today, as I write my number, is not activated and am told by Mr. thyagrajan that nothing can be done on the number and I sshould take a new number. Its been almost week after giveing my doc for second time my number is not activated.

                              I also filed a complaint with Customer care with the complaint number 28601108 and was told that by 1:30 Pm of 1st opctober, this will be solved. Let alone solving, havent even got one call. All the calls have been made by me.

                              I have also written some 5 mails to nodal officer only to get a reply stating "We are in receipt of the mail"

                              1. I have given the number ot all my contacts and that number "does not exist". Remeber I am new to this city
                              2. I have spent some 3000 bucks on my roaming on my Delhi no. [protected]
                              3. I have been calling airtel again and again to hundred Airtel people. I m frustrated to the core. The worst customer service You see in the world.
                              OK You mat say it is resolved. Can you please tell me what is the resolution? Who pays for Airtel's rude behavior and huge roaming bills?

                              I own a Honda Jazz Car in my wife's name R. Velvizhi bearing Regn. No. TN 72 AE 0177.

                              I would like to share some of bitter experiences at my first and second free services.

                              I own Maruthi SUZUKI vehicles from 1995 and TOYOTA Qualis from 2004.

                              I am very much satisfied with Maruti and Toyota service networks.

                              I own Honda Jazz from October 2009, from TVS - Madurai.

                              For my 500 Km service, I was advised by your sales executives to have the service at my
                              home town Tirunelveli. But my car was water serviced at a Truck cleaning Ram.
                              I consoled myself that you people do not have facilities at Tirunelveli and I thought I should
                              never leave my car at Tirunelveli TVS and planned for Madurai TVS for my second service.

                              I left my car at Madurai TVS on 23.02.2010 for my second service and took the vehicle back
                              on 26.02.2010. But I was not satisfied with your service there.

                              The car was not properly water serviced. The interior of the car especially the dash board was
                              in the same condition when I left the car. The door pads on the right and left doors had all the
                              dirt and mud.

                              And to my surprise, when I went inside at 1.30 PM, the service man who entered the car to have
                              a final cheakup, (I travelled some 200 KM from my hometown Tirunelveli and reached your service station
                              at the time informed by your service co-ordinator Mr. Anandaraj) was wearing a very ugly dress
                              (probably washed a month ago) with dirt, oil and grease causing my car interior a bad odour.
                              With his ugly hands he spoiled the doors with oily dirt.

                              Other service men roaming around were also wearing ugly dresses (which I never witnessed in
                              a Suzuki or Toyota service stations). When I insisted on cleaning the car exterior, a boy
                              cleaned with a rotten ugly cloth and I got worried. And I was given my out pass only at 4.30 PM
                              after waiting for a valuable 3 hours.

                              I am very much disappointed by the world class Honda car company's very poor service at
                              Madurai service station. And I shall never have the interest to recommend any of my friends
                              to buy a Honda Car for your neglected services.

                              I bring this to your attention, to invite you take special and sincere interest in this matter,
                              to satisfy the Honda car owners, who think they are proud to be a Honda owner.

                              2. airtel to airtel 10 paisa/per munite local n national

                              after 54 day i dnt get this benifits i again call them
                              they commited me to give that in 24 hrs and to send a msg on particular number
                              i send that msg but till now 11 days are over but i dnt got that benifits
                              then i called them so time but nothing i got
                              i also called their nodal officer on 27 jan he told me i will got that benifits by 31 jan
                              now i dont want airtel at any cost i m sending again port out msg on1900 but it shows msg sendin failed
                              i again called aitel cust care they told me that now for 90 dys i bond with airtel
                              this not way to keep subscriber with airtel
                              this is a totally fraud they done with me
                              I had been having a lot of issues with Airtel mobile phones and now when I want to port out of this using Mobile Number Portability but they are not letting that happen citing one reason or the other. Simply speaking, they just want to continue their harrasing ways of getting or keeping their customers. They don't realize that they would rather be better off if they keep their customers happy rather than resort to these stupid ways of dealings.

                              Airtel — MNP REQUEST NO RESPONSE FROM AIRTEL

                              Currently i am having tata indicom no [protected], i hv given the request for mnp from tata to airtel on 20th jan , as per TRAI process it has to be 7 working days. everyday interacting with airtel customer care on [protected]. as i am unable to get the proper feedback & every time whenever i called to airtel customer care. at the end customer care representative will disconnect the call either just they mentioned someone will get back to you in 1hr or 4hr times. since last 5 days same story is repeating. I dont understand as per TRAI clearly mentioned 7 days why the companies take such longer time to resolve the query of customer. requesting consumer complaint department to take necessary step on this and requesting to reply back on [protected]@yahoo.com.
                              I have done all MNP procedure ... Airtel To Tatadocomo on 20th Jan.

                              till date 4th feb Airtel not doing MNP when i call from friends cell phone to airtel customer care... they are not ready to give me answer. and just put down the call

                              and also i submitted my documents, after that i got the call from customer care about the reason for changing the operator to reliance , i said that its because airtel is costly as well as
                              3g has not yet come in chandigarh after that he said that they will reduce the call rates as well as sms for me . i rejected that offer and said that i will switch to reliance after that
                              its been 15 days that they have not done any mnp and i called around 50 times to customer care where i got the following response from them
                              1. WHY DO YOU WANT TO SWITCH TO RELIANCE?
                              2. YOU SAID YOU DONT WANT TO GO FOR MNP TO OUR CUSTOMER CARE WHO CALLLED YOU
                              after that he set a "BAD HELLO TUNE " AND REDUCED MY BALANCE TO -3.34 RS SO THAT I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO CALL THEM and DEDUCTED 45 RS

                              I have further given a request through Airtel Store (Elegance Distribution
                              Plot No.-66, Nr Mahalaxmi Palace Hotel, Neelam-Bata Road, NIT 121001Faridabad) by generating a fresh UPC code RD129958 on 1st of february but till now my no. has not been converted into Airtel.

                              After repeatedly going to this store 4-5 times, the concerned person Mr. Rohtash / Ravi giving me vague excuses & asking me either to wait or take my request back but the reality is that still my no. has not converted into Airtel. Now my UPC Code is again going to expire on 16th Feb.

                              Request from my side is that their should be some control over this procedure. Without control this facility is not going to be beneficial for Indian customers.

                              This is Prakash i was planning to Port my no. MNP from TATA DOCOMO to Airtel, i called Airtel customer care one of executive gave me a tariff A-A 10ps /min and other local & National 30ps /min and 100 L&N SMS free a day.
                              He asked me to go any Airtel outlet with all Doc and UPC code, when i visit for the same am sacred hearing that they dont have any such plan at all and the executive was so unprofessional behaviour and talk "pethatic" i just walk back without migration.
                              I request the concerned authority to take strict action on such people for misguideing the customer and wasting there precious time and spoiling the company reputation.
                              So friends dont belif on such scheme of such operators and waste your time.

                              AirTel — MNP issues

                              I had requested for MNP ([protected]) from Airtel to DOCOMO. DOCOMO did the relevant documentation and checking and arranged the new SIM card. Airtel rejected the MNP request on grounds of outstanding payment of 44 paisa whereas has Rs 1500 as security deposit with them.

                              The whole MNP seems to be a sham especially for post paid customers with service providers not allowing the MNP citing some flimsy reasons.

                              The government / TRAI should have zero tolerance in such matters and penalise the providers for non compliance.

                              Idea Cellular Services. — Not Respecting MNP

                              Hi,

                              Due to poor signals strength and poor service I have decided to port to Airtel from Idea. I have sent the request message to Idea with correct format 'PORT MyMobileNumber' but I didn't receive any Unique Porting Code(UPC), so I have talked with so called Customer Care and they said that I didn't the code properly. And they start asking why am I porting and started convincing. I said that I have decided and sent the sms again as they asked to send again. Again they didn't send UPC. Again I called them and this time they again started convincing. I strongly said that I want to switch to Airtel and want UPC, they said that for that they need 24 hrs as they want to send one email to upper hierarchy. Even they refused to give complaint id for the complaint 'Not receiving UPC'. I have asked for the employee id of the person with whom I am talking for further proceeding, even that was rejected.

                              let me check how can I proceed further...

I Explained them about their bad service, after one day they Send me SMS through 1901 that my request for porting is rejected due to some legal reason.                               i have been using airtel connection [protected] i had opted for mnp got the code submited the required documents to idea but the service provider airtel has not given stating reasons as contractual obligation this procedure was tried twice and now when i wanted to get mnp code airtel is not releasing the code kindly do intiate action aganist the service provider or do advice any other sort of legal action

                              Had a connections in Airtel prepaid and i tried to change my Service provider to tata docomo(Which is FAR BETTER than AIRTEL in sevice). But after submitting the necessary documents to tata docomo with the Portal number, today i received a message that your request was cancelled by AIR TEL. When i contacted AIRTEL Customer care, they put me on hold for 15 min(more than 5 times and they charge 0.50 /3 min FOR THEIR USELESS SERVICE). They did not follow TRAI guidelines regarding MNP. They sent an SMS on 20.04.11 but did not mention the reason for rejection. After trying alot on 25.04.11 i could find the reason for rejection.when i sent a message for UPC on 26.04.11, i did not get the code but balance was deducted from my account. There is no action on this issue even after 24Hrs of giving complaint.This is Airtel is cheating the customers throughout the country. To my surprise, i don't know how they are claiming themselves as no.1 network in india(may be in cheating). I request all the Airtel customers to come out of the network.

But not received any communication as of now. I have co ordinate with My previous cellular service (Idea), they have confirmed nothing is pending at our end .                               I had applied for MNP from Airtel to Vodafone for my number [protected] with Porting code: AK684537 on 02/06/11. It has been almost 12 days and I do not have clue when my number porting will be complete. Airtel Customer Care is also not able to help me regarding that. In the mean time AIrtel is subscribing my number to their bogus value added services automatically without my consent and reducing my valuable talktime by hefty amount. When I call customer care to reverse my charges as it was subscribed without my consent. They refuses even after I warn them that I will lodge complaints against their cheating and unlawful practice. I am very much frustrated with Airtel and want to switch as early as possible. Please advise.

                              I received a call from a Lady from Airtel corporate office and she advised me to re-submit the document and the MNP will be done smoothly. Accordingly I resubmitted the MNP request to Vodafone with Porting code AK855282 on 21/06/2011 and I had been provided with a Vodafone MNP kit bearing sim no. [protected]. I was advised by the shopkeeper that within a week my Airtel sim will be deactivated and then I need to use the aforesaid Vodafone sim.

                              Since then I am received at least 5 calls from Airtel asking the same question again and again why are you leaving Airtel. I had answered them again and again that I am not satisafied with Airtel due to signal and other issues.They offered me various offer on Airtel and each time I said I want to move to Vodafone. But they have kept calling me. Now it is almost 7 days and I have not received any information about MNP. Please let me know how soon it will be done.
                              Hurray! My MNP has been finally done! I would like to thank Hemlata from Airtel Corporate Office and Vodafone Care Kolkata for making this happen.

                              Airtel — Cheating, Forcing and delaying MNP

                              I applied for Mobile Number Portability (MNP) to port out from AirTel and switch to Vodafone. Ever since I've been getting calls from Airtel offering various schemes so that I cancel my port out request. I did not accept any of their offers as I'm fed up of their services and their way of deducing my credit amount every now and then.

                              Airtel cancelled my porting request and on enquiry I was told that it was because I accepted their schemes, which I DID NOT. I lodged a complaint in Airtel and I was told they would henceforth not interfere in my port out request issue and I can switch over to the operator of my choice. I followed the porting procedure AGAIN which consumed my time, money and energy. Everything was fine until this evening when I was notified that my porting request was cancelled again citing the same old reasons. This is a case of harassment. Not to mention the numerous calls from Airtel offering schemes every now and then even after I made it clear that I wasnt interested. They activate the schemes despite my prior rejection.

                              I had given request for MNP from Airtel on 7th Sep. Today is 16th .My last months bill was generated on 6th & I paid it on 10th.. I had paid dues on 12th at their Tripunithura office.(Receipt no 66527).Till now they have not done anything.

                              Airtel — MNP Number not working Error Sim Invalid

                              I change service provider tatadocomo to airtel, but now both of sim showing invalid sim. i am confused. docomo port it, but airtel sim not working [protected]
                              I was apply for Mobil No. Portability from AIRTEL([protected]) to TATA DOCOMO on 24.08.11.but the AIRTEL rejected that application due to the following region.(there are subsisting contractual obligation from the subscriber agreement) i don’t know when and where i agreement with the AIRTEL
                              After that ,I was received a phone (MR. PRAVEEN-Airtel )that there are subsisting contractual obligation from your end and photo id is mismatch.

                              On 12.09.11I have done again mnp and after that 7 days when ,I was received a phone and they told me that your mnp again rejected due to same reason .I call again airtel customer care on 19.09.11, he told me that your application was rejected.

                              I was a Vodafone Customer, I opted for MNP, so I submitted all the necessary documents.
                              On 7th December, I got a message from 5909,1901 and Vodafone that my porting has been approved and will begin shortly. 5909, I am assuming Airtel's number.
                              Anyways, after 3 days I got a message from 1909 that my number will be ported on 12th Dec at 10:15 PM.
                              On 12th at the same time, my Vodafone services were discontinued and rightly so. It was showing 'No network available'.
                              I kept my phone aside and slept. As stated on the airtel website, I got up in the morning and inserted my airtel sim, and it LOOKED fine, it was showing 100% coverage.
                              BUT,
                              when i tried making calls, i couldn't. I thought it was because I had no balance, then I asked my friend to gift me balance, he tried, but it said, 'The number is not an Airtel number'. I called customer care airtel and they said I would have to go to Airtel Help Centre to get my issue resolved.
                              Now its been one whole day, without me having my number working properly and I can't go to the Help Centre which BTW is not supposed to happen during MNP.
                              I should mention that, I received SMS's perfectly on my number but when someone tried to call it said, the number is temporarily out of service.
                              I would pass on my number when I get a response here.
                              So could you please be kind enough to tell me when would this issue be resolved?

                              I applied for MNP from Tata Docomo prepaid to Airtel Postpaid through airtel sales person (Contact no. [protected]). I submitted the required documents and even the Address Checking was done by an Airtel person.

                                This is Sanjay from Mumbai. This is to let all the customers of Airtel know that there are many fraudulent cases on the mobile bills generated by Airtel. For 3G usage i took a plan of Rs 200 (for usage up to 500). My usage was very less (not even 200 MB), but i received a bill of 2500, with a mobile Internet charge of Rs 1350. I have been witnessing it for the last couple of months. Also, i saw there was a huge fluctuation in the generated mobile bills for each month. My bills for the last 5 months were 621, 1850, 3880, 632, 2450. This is definitely not the correct amounts. So anyone deciding to switch to Airtel, please take these stuffs into consideration and i would reckon you opt for other mobile operators. Strictly NO to AIRTEL.

                                  My son purchased an AITTEL 3G (HUAWEI Mobile Broadband No.CE 0682) for me at Mumbai in early March,2012 during my vacation there. On my return to Asansol I approached the AIRTEL office for changing the SIM card. I was advised to get the same changed at Sri Ganesh Agency, Asansol Bazar. I was given an alternate SIM card No. [protected] at a cost of Rs.750.00 although it was supposed to be free replacement. After replacement I am unable to connect to Internet as it is getting disconnected seconds after establishing connection. I am not receiving any support from the vendor nor any advice from AIRTEL.

                                    I have complain many times regarding re-orientation of dish antenna to SAT2, but my request is unheard for last 3 months. I had contacted customer care also and they give me a complain no.. After 20 days, they gave a false message that my complain has been resolved. Lastly they gave me a mobile no. of local dealer, but the call to that mobile no is either unattended or disconnected. I am not getting the Doordarshan, the national channel and many more. Please get my problem attended at the earliest.

                                      I am going thru the same thing. I have been trying to make payment for over a week now. First, I thought it must be a small technical issue but when I call airtel 198 I dont get a proper response, the person is asking me to check with my bank. My payment due date is in a day now. This is really really frustrating. How can a company be so lethargic in receiving a payment of above Rs.1100, or is it is a way to collect late payment from its customers.

I actually live in UK so I understand if it says cards of international origin not accepted. But they were excepted last month and the month before and before and they will be accepted in next few days as well when they fix this rubbish website. But not today when I am within the payment date, not today!
