hello sir/ma'am,

i am using airtel gprs service on my mobile, i have nokia C6-01 high speed internet supported mobile.
My complaint is i got only 5 to 9kbps speed, and its showing too many times 'connection lost, or 'server reset'
and after all all other companies giving more than 40kbps of gprs speed,
than why only i got that poor speed of gprs?

That is too slow speed and i complaint many times but still problem is ON THE GO!!!!!

My last complaint number to the airtel customer care is : CMOUD[protected],

they said that they will update me by 11 sep, but no update.

AirTel — gprs poor speed

dear sir
this is rahul from mumbai i m using airtel since the company launch in mumbai, there is a problem with my gprs speed the browsing speed is below 1kb ps.inspite of complaints my problems are not solved since last three months. and there is no feedback from airtel regarding my complaints

. I had taken broadband internet connection [protected]@490 about 8 months back.
The speed is not up to the mark . The gets dropped frequently while chatting through Skype .I had made complaint . I'm not satisfied with the services provided by the company.Some expert should be deputed to rectify the complaint immediately otherwise I will be left with no option except to change my connection with some other company.

    I have been using Airtel services for the past 7 years via the number: [protected]. I shifted recently to the postpaid connection under the same number and opted for Blackberry internet services. For the first three months I paid 599 every month for the internet. Then on 10th July I decided to withdraw from Airtel since 599 was expensive for me.
    On 10th July an executive from retention department called me and offered me Blackberry Internet service for 2499 advance for 6 months and saying that any plan of Rs. 399 does not exist with Airtel. At first I agreed to it. But then on 16th July I called them again at 121 to withdraw my advance rental of 2499 and give me another pack since I was uncomfortable in paying the advance. Mr. Yashpal confirmed the de activation of 2499 plan and started 399 Blackberry Internet for me stating the advance plan has been cancelled.
    In the month of august I received a bill of Rs. 3787 which was inclusive of the 2499 ( which Yashpal confirmed he had discontinued) and Rs. 283 extra ( variable pay of Rs. 399 from 16th July to 4th August). At first I did not notice the 283 extra and called the Airtel nodal officers to review and give me a waiver of 2499 since the plan had been discontinued. But then due to delay in response I paid the complete bill of Rs 3990 to avoid any delays in bill payment and decided to compromise with paying in advance for 6 months of internet.
    Now on 6th September I receive a bill of Rs 945 which is again charging me off Rs. 399 for Internet service. I again called 121 and got delayed till 11th September due to system up gradations and non availability of bills with Airtel. I finally spoke to Supervisor Mr. Raman Kumar via ref no: [protected] and asked for the explanation. He explicitly mentioned that the 2499 plan that got discontinued on 16th julty is not wasted, which means that the money I paid in August is of no use. I will be charged normally of 399 every month for Internet service extra and nothing can be done in regards to the Rs. 2499. He confirmed this on behalf of all the managers and nodal officer and has completely refused to help.
    Nobody told me at the time of discontinuation on the 16th July 2012 that my money will be wasted and they now ever refuse to adjust my Rs. 2499. Please provide justice to me.

    Bharti Airtel — ADJUSTING MY ADVANCE MONEY IN MY BILL

    I HAD APPLIED A BROADBAND CONNECTION TO AIRTEL, LTER ON DUE TO SOME REASONS I CANCELLED THAT REQUEST AND GOT MY REFUND CHEQUE. THEY SENT ME THE REFUND CHEQUE ON THE NAME OF WHICH I HAD APPLIED THE CONNECTION . I AM NOT HAVING ANY BANK ACC WITH THAT NAME AND CANNOT PUT THAT CHEQUE AND THEY ARE NOT READY TO HELP ME OUT NOR THEY ARE ADJUSTING THAT AMOUNT IN MY BILL AND THEIR CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE OFFICERS ARE ALSO SO RUDE AND THEY TOLD ME TO FORGET ABOUT THAT MONEY .

      Dear Sir,

      I have complained to My service provider about my problem very clearly . My problem is i could not make outgoing calls even i recharge by having enough balance. after some time on 8 th sep by balance was missed and i could not make out going calls till 10 th sep. i have complained to the airtel customer care and the outlet located in karimnagar and to the nodle officer in Airtel, They have issued a compaint number CBDM[protected] AND CBDCC[protected], Nobody has tried to call me .. please punish them and do the needful help..

        Some time back, I requested AIRTEL to disconnect my Airtel No.[protected]Broadband and Landline) because of some un-resolved issues.

        Since then I got and continuously getting calls from Airtel from different different executives all the time without being knowing what communication has happened in past. Every time I get a call, one says some thing and other says other thing and give a new commitment ....... and when you talk about it they say that they don't know about the commitment and it is not there in their record ................... in nut shell not willing to resolve the issue rather tey send me Bill for the period I am not concerned with.



        Still today I am continuously getting calls from them which is causing mental harassment.

        I AM THINKING TO FILE A CASE OF MENTAL HARRASMENT AGAINST AIRTEL.

            To the concerned,
            This is with regards to my number [protected] which was with AIRTEL for more than a year.
            All this pain started with the process of MNP from AIRTEL to TATA DOCOMO as I had some benefits with Docomo connection [Employed for TATA Communications].
            I had already paid an amount of Rs 500/- before the MNP process [Jan 2012], so that if there are any dues the AIRTEL Team can reduce it form the advance of 500/- paid.
            The MNP process was completed on the 1st week of Feb 2012.
            1. I Used TATA Docomo for almost a month and I had received a mail stating there is due of Rs 288/- from AIRTEL But I lost my TATA Docomo sim card on April 4th 2012, while I was travelling from Chennai to Vellore. I requested the concerned person to deactivate the connection so that I can get a duplicate sim card once I am back to Chennai.
            2. On 14th June 2012 I paid Rs 288/- To AIRTEL, since the TATA DOCOMO team had informed me that the connection was terminated from AIRTEL.
            3. On 26th June 2012 I paid Rs 689/- to TATA DOCOMO as they claimed there is a due and hence the connection was disconnected, so once there is a no due for the number, it could be obtained from AIRTEL as it’s my parent service provider.
            4. On 19th July 2012 I wrote a complaint/requisition letter to the sales officer/Manager at AIRTEL office Coimbatore, I was told that there will be a technical person who will assist me further, but there was no response, I thought there are no one to read my piece of paper.
            5. On 28th August 2012 I got a sim card ‘Sim No:[protected]’ from AIRTEL and I was asked to pay Rs 638/- they said it was for process of duplicate sim card which costs Rs 350/- and outstanding fee of Rs 288/- for which I have already paid at Chennai on 14th June 2012 and I was told Rs 300/- will be refunded later to my account.
            6. Now to prove that I have paid, you people missed to update, I had to raise a support mail on the same day support ticket number # 20195
            7. On 9th Sept 2012 I spoke with a technical assistant at Chennai and I am told that my number is still in the port out state and there will was no information or support ticket with reference to this number raised for a comeback plan.
            Please note I had been paying from April 2nd till 28th August to get my number back not knowing who my service provider is.
            I couldn't get a duplicate sim from TATA DOCOMO as the concerned technical person told me that the number has not been completely ported to TATA DOCOMO since there was a due.
            On April 27th 2012 I was told my Docomo services were truncated as I have not paid some due amount to my old network [AIRTEL].
            On April 29th 2012 my services was truncated completely from AIRTEL stating it is a Port not found issue.

            Finally after researching on the internet I came to know a number can be obtained from the old network after 90days of service of the new network and this plan was called as welcome back customer plan in AIRTEL, I did not try with Docomo as they strictly said it’s over 90 days and it’s in disconnected state. [The number is neither in AIRTEL nor in Docomo].
            After 90 days it’s the responsibility of my parent network to get my services in this case it happens to be AIRTEL. When I call up the senior sales office from Coimbatore AIRTEL office he doesn't even pick up.
            Now I need my services back and compensation for what has happened as per your SLA.
            It’s not enough if you have an ad to connect to friends with Rahman's tune in the background; you people got to work and try to do a service. Just collecting bills and answering the call doesn't mean service, trying to resolve a customer’s problem and that is called service and in future never put a record stating you are number one in customer service.
            Since I am a frequent blogger and there is a fan following, I wouldn’t mind publishing this nasty experience of AIRTEL in my Blog, and I am sure there will be comments from many on their nasty experiences.
            Kindly contact me ASAP. It would be better if a senior manager could address on this and make sure I am satisfied with the service credit he will offer.

                Hello Sir,

                I have applied for mobile-portability of my post paid number +91 [protected] (Andhra Pradesh Airtel) , yesterday I got message on from 1901, that My service provider has rejected portability due to Legal reasons.
                I've paid their last month's bill amount plus extra (Rs.500)sufficient amount for period upto portability.
                Looks like; Airtel is adopting wrong practices to retain customer, They are just trying to fool around & making desparate attempts to keep customers by rejecting their requests.
                I want to know where & how can I escalate this beyond loop mobile? Is there a consumer interest forum or other legal cell that TRAI has set up where I can register my complaint?


                The Unique porting ID: AA239829 expiry date is 21/09/2012 ,Kindly intervene and instruct them to approve portability, Thank you!

                  I reside in Jabalpur. I have an Idea mobile no [protected]. On this mobile no. I am constantly receiving computerized mobile calls from an airtel no. [protected] and messages from IY 612345 reminding me and urging me for payment of an airtel fixed line number [protected] which belongs to some Manju Singh who stays in Gwalior. The Jabalpur and Bhopal offices of Air Tel have not taken any action despite several complaints on Phone and on the contrary suggested me to ignore these calls. This has been going on for last one year and now they are calling me many times in a single day disturbing me at all time.

                        i requested air tel to provide the aug call details for my prepaid nbr [protected] on 3rd sept. rcvd email fm the airtel office which only gave half info. i called them back and have written three email also but the response is lukewarm.
                        this info i required as my mobile was stolen and the person made calls on 20 aug which i got the info fm customer care. rs 50 was deducted fm my mobile charge and till date customer care is not providing the calls details made on 20 aug of the my mobile nbr.

                            recently in last 1 monrth 3G service is not working on my handset Nokia 5230 even 3G is activated on it,

                            also i have 13.00 Rs. balance in main account, and setting is dual in the network selection.

                            when asked today to customer care they told me to manually select the operator selection to IDEA and then

                            3G will activate, but if this is the solution i would not appreciate to use the AIRTEL services in future.

                                As always this time as well unwanted charges have been incorporated to my broadband bill for the number[protected].
                                I tried calling customer care but didnt not get connected.
                                Why cant we have a bill without any disputes.
                                I am highly dissatisfied with airtel billing services.
                                They have a complaint portal but very rarely a user is able to log a complaint into it most of the time it shows and error "We are unable to process your request. Please try later. Sorry for the inconvenience."

                                    i had purchased airtel dth with hd recorder a year back and from the 3rd month of purchase i have been having problems of the dth hanging abruptly while watching a program.i had sent the same for service to my dth dealer and he rectified the problem temporarily ( we did not know that it was temporary)- this had happened some 3 times.last week on the 4th sep this problem again happened & this time our dth dealer said he cannot fix it and sent the same to airtel service centre i guess located at chennai.
                                    since that day we have been trying to reach the customer care ppl at airtel but every time we call they ask for the complaint all over again and say will get back to you in two hours but till this date we have neither received a call nor the STB. you know how difficult it is for ppl at home to spend a day without television ...we had been so for 6 days now.
                                    i had paid 8100 for the STB & also recharged for rs.4900 some 10 days back ( anunual pack ).kindly advice the customer care ppl to attend to the calls of customers with sincerity . the complaint no.they have sent twice 1.23287059 & 2.23410653.
                                    this is by far one of the worst customer service .kindly take necessary action thank u

                                    I am himanshu soni, I am using Airtel DTH service. My Customer ID is [protected], I have recently relocated from mumbai to bangalore.
                                    I had bought the Airtel DTH at mumbai used it there for last 4-5 months, when i was about to relocate to bangalore i raised a service order for relocation to them 4 days prior to service date and asked to deliver service for un-installation on 24th oct 2010. service was delivered to me on 28th oct. 2010, with a delay of 4 days without any notification of delay reason by that time my all good were moved to bangalore. so i was unable to carry the dish anntena & cable with me. they accepted there mistake & applogies for it and have asked me to submitted to equipments to them.
                                    they said after reaching bangalore i can rasie a new service order for installation and they will not charge me any extra money for it. now it took me 7 days to log a service order for the same with 10 - 15 number of attempts always provide customer repersentative use to provide the request number but it never got logged. finally i successied to get it logged the service order # 4575350.
                                    It has been 4 days that this service order got logged and i have not yet received any service. today i got sms from airtel that your service order got resolved upon calling them they are saying you have to bear the extra cost for the relocation for the mistakes they have done.
                                    also when i left mumbai my acc. balance was +70 INR when i tried to log a service order they told me that your acc. balance is now -17 you have to get it recharge to so that they can log a service order, as a result i trusted them and rechaged my acc. with 200 INR. but havent received any service nor my problem is resolved and they are chareging me daily for no service.

                                    pls call [protected]. for your kind information our STB has not reached us yet after almost 10 days & also the customer care ppl said they are charging us some rs1400 for the replacement .
                                    worse of all is the way the customer care ppl responded ...they say will get back to u in a couple of hours but had never called us back .have registered the same complaint some 4 to 5 times.
                                    i switched to airtel dth from tatasky last year, frankly speaking the tatasky customer service was one of the best i have come across . to move over to your service is like visiting a govt office.
                                    am happy atleast someone from airtel is contacting me now.thank you n hope to see better customer service in furture.

                                        There is discrepancy in my internet data usage messages and the internet data usage in the final billing.
                                        My data card number:[protected]


                                        On May 16th 2012 i have sent 3GUSE message to 121 to check my usage and i got
                                        that i have used 3.75 GB as on 16th May 2012 9:16 PM.
                                        On May 17th 2012 6:18 PM i got a message from AD-Service saying that i have
                                        used 5.77 GB as on 16th May 2012.
                                        Then i called the customer care and technical help desk and got confirmation saying that i have used only 4.1 GB and there is some technical issue in sending the message.
                                        But when the billing is generated its showing my usage as 6.5 GB.
                                        And i have sent all the messages that i got from airtel to customer care and appellate team.They cam back and saying that all the details are correct and i need to pay the amount.And they are not talking about how they have been verified

                                        I have faced the similar problem with airtel in two consecutive months and the first issue is closed with out my notice.
                                        I have been following up with airtel but not getting the resolution.

                                        I , called to airtel customer care to cancel my mobile phone's voice chat and miss Shabeena help to cancel it , but she also cut my hallo tune without my permission.she told me that call me back after check the details but i did not get the call . i called again to customer care to solve the problem , but the officers mr Syam, miss Karthika and superior officer mr Ranjith, are giving wrong information that I cancelled the tune by message and not call me back to give details . I really fed off about these things bcoz i all ready paid 1 year subscription charge for hallo tune , and i have no need to cancel that .

                                        Airtel — Airtel original bills not sent for 3 consecutive months

                                        Hi Guys,

                                        I am raising a complaint in this forum after making a lot of efforts to with the Airtel support team and my issue not being resolved still. I am an airtel post paid customer for around 3 years now. I use my mobile original bill for IT exceptions. Only original bill will be accepted by my company and I am using a post paid connection only for the original bills. Things have been going fine till April and there were no issues. From May, I did not get any bills so far. I have contacted airtel support a lot of times and I still do not get original bills. Even after explaining them clearly that I need the original bills or the ones attested by Airtel, they keep sending me the print out of the bill which is of no use to me as it will not be accepted by my finance team for IT exceptions. Even when I tried going to the nearby show room to see if they can attest the bill, they say its not possible for them and they are not authorized to do it.

                                        I keep getting answers like "We would like to inform you that as mentioned in the previous mail on 30/06/2010 original bill can be sent only for the first time and as per the process only duplicate bill can be sent the second time hence for the same request has been taken and forwarded to concerned department." this. But when I haven't even received the original bill and when I am in need of it, they should send it to me right.

                                        I also get replies like "We would like to inform you that as per the process original bill can be sent only first time and it has already been delivered to your neighbour Mr. Pandian on 10/06/2010, hence second time it is no possible to send the original bill.However you can recieve the duplicate bill and we would request you to confirm on the same if you are willing to get the duplicate sim." this. When there is no neighbour called Pandian near my house and also why it should be delivered to neighbour, when there is someone at my house all the time.

                                        I am seriously very tired of speaking with Airtel support who do not even understand the problem and not able to give any solution to the problem so far. If the bills cannot be sent, please let me know here, so I can go to any other service provider, who has a better support.

                                        Airtel - Bharti Airtel Limited — Billing Discrepancies & Barring of Outgoing Calls

                                        I had 4 airtel landline connections under account no. 10757803. Airtel on its own, without any consent or request from my side transferred all my connections from earlier account no. 10757803 to new account no. 15484036 in the month of June' 2010. That I was enjoying group pulsing facility in all my connections when in old account but when the account was changed by Airtel on its own, the billing discrepencies started and group pulsing facilities deactivated causing inflated billing. Ever since then I am regularly calling Airtel for resolution but of new use. When fed up with your regular faliure to settle the matter I opted for permanent disconnection of all my connections hence written e-mail to them on 24.11.2010. I received a call from Airtel Cancellation & Retension Department on 30.11.2010 and talked to Mr. Siddharth in the matter and after detailed conversation with him he confirmed a waiver of Rs. 1175- in account to settle the previous billing discrepencies. That till now that waiver as committed by Mr. Siddharth has not been given to me by the Airtel and lying as outstanding amount in the account. I am still regularly following-up with Airtel to settle the matter. That every now and then Airtel deactivate/barr my outgoing calls due to the said outstanding amount. I am facing lot of business loss due non-working of telephone connections and also it is a mental agony to call Airtel helpline for the resolution in the matter. Everytime I call Airtel helpline, a new customer care person is on the line and I have to make them understand the case history from scratch/begining and conversation last for 30-40 minutes but with no solution. Finally, again my outgoing call are barred by Airtel and I have no where to go and my business is suffering due to negligence at the Airtel's end.

                                        Can anyone help me to settle the issue.

                                        Hi,

                                        I was having Airtel Broadband connection[protected] at Gurgaon. I have requested for disconnection when I was transferring to Delhi. Then I have received call from Airtel's retention team and they committed following to me:
                                        - We will transfer your connection within 3 working days in Delhi without any transfer charges
                                        - We are offering you a plan which is 649 rental (retention plan) with unlimited 512 kbps speed without any FUP. This will have 100 Rs free calls to any number.
                                        - After all this, I agreed for transfer, but my connection was not shifted even within one month despite several followups. and meanwhile they also committed additional free calls worth Rs 150 for first 3
                                        months and 20% discount on rental for first 6 months.

                                        When My first bill arrived of new number[protected], my billing has been done as per 899 rental plan which should not be the case. I have requested for correcting this discrepancy and mentioned that I will not pay the bill till it is corrected.
                                        Even after 2 months of this mail and several calls, I am still struggling to get this corrected and moreover, Airtel has barred my outgoing and broadband services on 19-Feb. I am totally frustrated on Airtel's irresponsible attitude and wanted to cancel my connection. They have not yet provided any resolution to my problem nor they had cancelled my connection. I have faced so much mental harrasment due to multiple calls from Airtel's people even without knowing my case. This has created bad image in my office as well.

                                        Please assist me for final resolution of my problem.

                                        I am working in PSU and have taken corporate CUG postpaid plan of Airtel. This is to bring billing discrepancy of my postpaid mobile no [protected] of January month 2012. My credit limit was only 1000 Rs. but actual bill came of Rs. 3820. Why did not my services restrict to 1000 Rs.? I got message on 27.1.2012 to deposit 700 Rs. otherwise services will be barred as my unbilled amount reached about 900 Rs. I ignored and did not deposit, as I wanted to keep my bill within my credit limit. Same message received on 30.1.2012 that unbilled amount reached 2219 Rs. I enquired from customer care and they told that discounts will be taken care in final bill but not answered why credit limit was crossed. On 30th Jan night my services were barred. Again on enquiry, customer care asked to deposit the amount and services will be restarted and final bill on 6th Feb 2012 will take care of billing discrepancy. I did not deposit amount because I wanted to keep my bill within my credit limit and paying capacity. Final bill came on 6th Feb 2012 of more than 3800 Rs., even when my services were barred on 30th Jan with message of 2219 Rs. o[censored]nbilled amount. I again raised voice to customer care and they told that the issue is beyond their power and higher authorities can only solve the issue. I raised voice to nodal officer (Delhi, NCR) but they did not resolve the issue and marked my complaint status closed without any action in service request status. Then I raised my complaint to Appellate authority and they offered me discount of 1000 Rs. I am not ready to pay any amount beyond my credit limit. My simple submission is, if Airtel failed to track of my unbilled amount with respect to my credit limit, what is my fault, I never asked to increase my credit limit or allow me to use services beyond my credit limit, then why should I pay for excess billing.
                                        I have been a loyal postpaid customer for more than an year. Always paid on time at times before time. I was completely satisfied but this incident has left me with no option other then to change my service provider.

                                        I use a Data package of Rs. 149 which gives me 2GB free data usage. I also have a credit limit of Rs. 1600. And I got a bill of Rs. 2844??

                                        Firstly, why is credit limit there for ??? No warning that I had exceeded it, customer care say that they don't have a system to notify, then why have Credit limit.

                                        Secondly, My total calls, sms & plan charges is Rs. 450 and i have been charged for 2300 for 200 MB extra data usage. Without any warning of what is your data usage, they don't have a system to know how much data has been used.... awesome. When you call for approx. bill I get a figure of Rs. 5000 but when bill comes its Rs. 450 but this time Rs. 2844. How do someone get an idea of how much they have used????

                                        This is simply put as.... cheating.... there is no system to monitor your usage.

                                        I was so happy at a time I wanted to upgrade to 3G but know I think I change my service provider.
                                        I have sent many mails to [protected]@in.airtel.com, they only reply asking for information.... with no resolution.

                                        Giants like Airtel should understand that they are now not doing something different.... you have good competition and something that would make you stand out is your service and transparency... You are not good at both...... You soon loose your customer base.

                                        If iam not going to get any response, I will be going to raise a complaint against airtel.
