This is regarding my frustrating experience with airtel in transferring a corporate connection at my home, to my personal name. Here is the sequence of events. Phone number:[protected]
1. Initiated an ownership change from company to personal when I quit in July 2011 - executed Dec 31, 2011, after 7 applications, document proofs, innumerable phone pursuits.
2. With ownership name change, they changed address of the existing line to an unknown address and our line went dead as of Dec 31 and the phone stopped working!
3. Repeated calls to fix the dead line but no solution in sight as Airtel is clueless.
4. With ownership change from corporate to individual user, it was expected the line would be considered under "residential" category, but it continues to remain in business segment and Airtel says they cannot change the classification to residential. The reason for this is that they get to charge me an exorbitant Rs. 4000 + tax for my broadband while residential plan would only be 1/4th of that.
5. The latest bill has Rs 300 as shifting charges, from which time the line is in-operational!
6. In frustration, we requested for cancellation of the line, the same also went unheeded multiple times and finally it is registered as a service request on Jan 6 and they will get back by Feb 7!!!
Tired of Airtel's customer service or the complete lack of it. I want my phone line cancelled immediately!

Airtel - Mobile — Activate and Renewed the Services without my information
Dear Sir,Your company activate and renew the KKM Service without my information on my monile No. [protected].
Today, on 11/05/2011 you also renewed the the KKM service.
I not need this service. Please Refund the amount of Rs. 10/-
in my mobile balance and STOP this KKM Service immediately.
