My mobile number has been wrongly added in the data base of Airtel Dish Tv. The person who owns that airtel dish tv is Mr. Ajay Mandal of Madhubani , Bihar. Whereas I am in Karnataka. since the past 6-7 months , I am daily harrassed by aound minimum 5-6 phone calls on my mobile no, [protected]. I have emailed them on 19th june and also got this email in reply--

However , no action has been taken. Around 2 months back, one person of airtel who had called me said that they will remove my number ,and i also recieved a sms confirming the same from Airtel. However the phone calls requesting me to recharge that account come everyday still , which is causing a lot of harrassment.

Airtel Communication — permanent deactivation of prepaid mobile 9958872964
1 I am serving Army Officer, staying Government allotted house in Delhi Cantt.During the month of Nov 2008, I took a new Prepaid Mobile connection No [protected], through Standard Communication, Gopinath Bazar Delhi Cantt.I has submitted required application along with documents like, Photoidentity(Xerox driving licence), Residence proof (xerox MTNL telephone bill), PAN card and the photograph.2 To my surprise, outgoing calls were stopped during mid Dec 08, demanding again the set of documents given above. On enquiry i was told that the documents are being asked due to security reasons.
3 On 30 dec 2008, required application alongh with documents stated above were submitted through Standard communication and was assured that that services will be restored within next 48 hours.( Your sale Executive Mr Nitin (holding Mob No [protected]) is responsible for collecting and submission of the documents from your vendor Standard Communication, Gopinath Bazar, Delhi Cantt.
4 Services were never restored, rather permanently disconnected wef 05 dec 2008, Mr Nitin claimed that he had submitted my documents to the assigned office on 31 Dec 2008. The Phone was fully charged with adequate prepaidamount.
5 I would request you to forward my complaint to your CMD so that he should know that your services are deteriorating and I find MTNL/BSNL better in their Customercare.
6 I would request you to look into the case and ensure that the services discontinued due to callous attitude/approach of your statff, because they never took pain to verify my address. please depute some responsible person to verify the address, after 2PM on working days as house is closed upto 2 PM, my wife being away on her school.
7 I am hurt because I have undergone lot of harrassment due deficincy in services of the airtel. I expect suitable action erring staff and reply on action taken.
