AKAS Medical is good company they are paying a decent salary
This is a company run by 2 brothers mr. Arun krishna (Cto) & mr. Arjun sooraj (Ceo). Firstly, the so called ceo is the key brain behind all fraudulent actions and he drives the marketing and recruitment. Not all the products they manufacture have proper quality certification to be used in medical field.
As a job seeker especially in engineering line you will be happy to visit their website and product list displayed in their website will be encouraging that too if you are a fresher.in reality you will be welcomed by the sight of a small gully that looks like leading to a slum area and on travelling about 300 feet a small building fairly ok from the front view. The so called hr department is a small shed with asbestos roofing and the people working (2 persons) don't even have any good hr qualification. So you will be made to sit in a the reception that has no fan even. After a long wait you will first this greedy devil who will give you a pep talk that his company and its greatness (Which is all a lie).
On selection, you will be asked to sign an offer letter with the below mentioned tricks and evil snatches that you need to watch out for
1. Surrendering your educational certificates
2. You need to pay x amount if you leave the company before a said term (The amount & term varies from case to case).
3. You agree not to enlist for pf. However they pay you pf
4. You will not get relieving order/experience certificate if you leave within 2 years
5. Non entitlement for notice pay, experience certificate if you are terminated (Contradicts industrial dispute act stated in indian labor law)
Reality of work place:
1. You get to sit under asbestos roofing which become unbearably hot during chennai summers and leaky during rains
2. Most of the areas are so dusty and filled with cob webs everywhere
3. Almost everyday morning you will find rat faeces on the tables, certain seasons caterpillars crawl all over the place and after 6:30 p. M and during rainy season snakes can be spotted
4. Toilet facilities are worse than the public toilets
5. Drinking water supplied in cans are substandard and if you are lucky you might see worms in them before drinking it
Reality of job nature:
1. Engineers are under employed except for a few who do designing (To join that team there are extra conditions in the offer letter)
2. All you get to do is tightening screws in the cabinets
3. If you are a performer among the fools then you will get to click the products in sunlight with a cell phone camera and prepare a so called catalogue and instruction manual
4. If you are in the marketing department or service department you should train yourself to be deaf as end users will abuse you due to poor product quality
5. There is no career path and no easy way out if you are a hardworking person. If you are half hearted they will terminate you and you will have wasted all your time with no experience certificate
Reality of product quality for buyers:
1. The products are so poor in quality that sometimes 18 out of 20 sold items have complaints in them. There are no replacements but promises to service the faulty products which takes sometimes a month to become operational
2. All the items are low end chinese items and their calibrations are approximate not accurate
3. Cost of spares will be high and you have to depend on these frauds only as this is a chinese low cost one with no similar or oem spares readily available in the market
4. No costly spares are stocked. Meaning if a critical component fails you either have to wait for months or they will buy it for a scrap rate and sell you a costlier model which is also hopeless inside only the cabinet will look better
5. One mans defective equipment is refurbished and sold to another man as new product
They also use pirated software - microsoft/keil etc. On seeing such compaints online they request their loyal dogs who work for them to write positive comments instead of a minimal salary hike.
If you are job seeker you need to ask yourself if you are ready to forget your self respect and allowed to be treated like servants. If your heart says yes please join the company and have fun getting mistreated.
If you are a end user you need to rethink of your responsibility that you have as a hospital founder or as a doctor on your patients lives while using such substandard equipment on them.
By and large any association with akas medical will make you a third class degraded citizen.
So please don"t associate with them - as a customer or as a buyer.
