Dear All,
For those who have been experiencing the issue for the SR. 5 weekly deduction after giving an IQ test, what I've found is that sending texts to the numbers 800 205 or whatever they are WILL NOT WORK. At least, none have so far worked for me. They always send back a text saying 'the number is incorrect'.I've also tried blacklisting all unknown numbers (those not in my contacts) by installing Kaspersky Mobile Security and Blackballer. That didn't work either, and while I recieved no texts, the balance of SR. 5 was duly deducted. I then went to the website, and navigated all the way to the page where disconnection from services is given online. Again, no luck. Then, I tried emailing the people at support.[protected]@timwe.com, and THEY said that my number doesn't exist in their records since I had unsubscribed at 20/03/2010. A week later, SR. 5 again gone. I tried a different approach after that.
What I did was I connected my phone to the computer, and translated every message that I remembered which caused a deduction in my balance. And one of them said that (this was last week's text) "Subscription is valid till 17/04/2011", and other rubbish about offering me "intelligence" services. So I waited till the week ended with LESS than SR. 5 in my account, and waited to see what happens. A text from Aljawal came on Saturday, and I translated it again via Google translate, and it stated that "there isn't sufficient balance to renew services". I was all happy, but decided to be cautious and I didn't recharge my balance, and thought, why not see what happens if I carry on, because these people are HIGHLY unscrupulous. And lo and behold, a text message came today, and I'll paste the content for you right as it is,
"Sorry we were unable to renew your subscription at the service of content intelligence due to lack of sufficient credit. As well as make sure you have enough credit in your account prior to the date: 19/05/2011 20:09 so as not to separate the service"
Notice the date please. 19th of MAY. Basically if I recharge my account anytime before it, the messages will start instantly, and so will the deductions. I'm going to try and see if I can keep this SIM under balance till that date and make do with another. Pray that I can, so that we all may finally have a working solution for this petty thievery by the mobile companies. I hope this was of some use to all those trapped in this unscrupulous snare.
Thank you..
