Your experience with Anju Placement Agency is better than ours. We burned our fingers badly in year 2006- lost a lot of money within 2 months. You can understand their modus operandi from my experience. They took 1.5months salary for the first experienced maid they sent us. Within a week the maid tells us she was forcefully sent here. We call up the agency and inform them and ask for a replacement. The agency yells at the maid, threatens her with police action (saying you know what the police will do to you) giving me a clear idea they have a couple of policemen in their racket. Meanwhile the maid refuses to work but refuses to leave the house without the salary for the week. Finally after a couple of days and numerous phonecalls and the trauma and harrassment, the agency guy comes with another maid and takes the present one away. The new maid they bring, they say have a higher pay and we had to shell out extra commission. The new maid turned out to be a crack-pot- almost untrained although she had been with the agency for years. A completely incompetent lady in her 40s or 50s and always speaking in above average decibels, and always full of drama and histrionics. We put up with for about 25 days in which she divulged a lot of Anju's trade secrets. This one Seema had been to a lot of places through Anju but never had to stay anywhere beyond 2 months! So I realised there is an all india nexus between the trained maids and the agency. This particular one was a valuable one for them, ready to move anywhere and always marketed as a trained person but anyone having her for a few days would be more than happy to let her go and wash their hands off the agency. She even agreed that this was the way the agency collected money . Finally we got someone over through some other source and let her off. She happily left saying Anju Agency had already planned to send her to Mumbai! If there is ever a forum to raise my voice against these sort of fraudulent maid trading agencies, I will and also this should be brought to greater public notice.

I, beware all of this maid racket started by Anju Placement based in Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi.The team is highly unprofessional, rude and banking on their relations with Police. Have monitored numerous false commitments from their team comprising of Anju, Rahul Sahil etc etc.
Apparently I've learnt Anju's father-in-law happens to be in Police due to which placement agencies like these are flourishing in the market and robbing hard earned money of people.
I request our esteemed Police Services to kindly not bend arms of citizens by joining hands with such goons. On other text have also learnt that Anju herself has have been involved in a case on beating one of their lady client badly that she had to be hospitalized for 2 days, I guess you may now know the reasons of this.
I sincerely urge and request the authorities through this channel to kindly WAKE UP and STOP these placements from robbing people of their hard earned money.

Me totally agree with you, Anju Placement in Safdarjang enclave is really an agency that people should avoid. I've been regularly calling them and going to their office for a maid replacement and during my visits have found there were more than 10 clients being disturbed becoz of their poor servbices and cursing them.
Sahil in front of me had been cursing (using foul language) to one of his client on the phone and also to the extent that he said on the phone .. u may call police or gunda's we need time for a week and we are not afraid of any police or gunda's. Later Sahil unable to speak becoz of his anger promised me a replacement in a week.Its been 3 weeks since then and there is no replacement. I guess we should jointly meet the SHO and complaint against them.

I totally second Ankita above we all need to wakeup and take a call against Anju Placement and other such shutter shops. Am sure people from Anju P are capable of going to any extreme. I just wonder what is our esteemed Police doing here. Anju Placement:- Most unethical, Un proffessional, burglars, I don't have words to express my grief & sorrow about this organisation. Even u land up to their office 100 times still they make fake promises. Please be cautious while getting in touch with them.

I agree. I paid them advance and full commisiion in Aug. 2008 an dthen after numerous calls they gave me one old bengali lady (about 50-60yrs old) who could not understand Hindi, or light a gas or learn anything. She even had problem sitting down and getting up. I returned her after 15 days and then they ghave another mad woman after 2 months. She used to have some nasheela paste and was totally crazy, shouting at some time and would intentionally take hours to do one job, would insult my gusets and then I somehow managed with her for 2 monthsand packed her back. These guys Rahul, Sahil are Anju's nephews and Mishraji is her husband. They run a racket and just openly harass and do fraud. These guys will change their nam e/ voice whenever you catch them on phone and say that p[erson is not avilable...there's a long list- Rahul, Sahil, Rajesh, Ajit ...I am surprised after so many comnplaints nothing is being done about them.

I agree. I too have been duped by this agency Anju Placement Bureau, Safdarjung Enclave. When I first met them, they showed me their registration and told that they were in this business for over eighteen years. I registered with them in late February. They never gave us any maid. They always asssured to provide maid within a week, two days, next Tuesday and so forth. It is the same excuse anytime. Whenever you call them they give a date which is exactly one week from that day. The strange thing is that each time some new person picks up the phone. Rahul, Sahil, Ashok the list is endless. They assure to call back but never do. I also had a querrel with them on phone. Finally, one evening they called and said they have a maid. We went there and they showed us a young girl who said she will charge Rs.3000/- but would not do any cooking or baby sitting. We refused to take her in. They showed a bengali muslim old lady who they claim to be 50 years old but it later turned out that she was atleast 60 years old. Since we had no choice, we decided to give her a try. They lady did not want to learn anything and was unable to do work because of her old age. She also became unwell. We treated her as well as we can and later returned her to the agency in April. From then on, the Anju Bureau is making false assurance of providing a maid. They claim that because of the elections, the girls are unable to come from Bihar, Bengal and Jharkhand. I personally met them several times, but these fellows make the same excuse. I have paid him Rs.10500/- = Rs.8000/- as deposit and Rs.2500/- as one month payment for the maid. After numerous calls, these people do not respond nor do they refund our money since it is in their contract that they will provide maid but will not refund the money. I had to take leave and look after my child. I always felt that these people are ununsually rude for a placement agency and shamelessly make false claims. They are agreesive, rude and behave like a mafia. I felt that I must have been an unfortunate person but after reading so many complaints, I realised that other people have also been duped by this agency. Now, the question is how to deal with them.
What is the solution? Individually, we cannot do anything, but collectively we can lodge a complain. If anyone of you have some suggestions they he can email and we can discuss about the possible course of action.

I think this is the modus operandi of all the maid agencies in Delhi & NCR. I have personally burnt my fingers a lot many times but still got duped everytime i tried getting a maid. In the last 1 & a half years I've lost Rs. 30, 000 in these agencies & all of them have provided us with a maid for a week to a month & just false promises of providing a replacement/refund but to no avail. All of them send maids who want a high salary but don't want to work.
The names of these fraudulent placement agencies are:
1) Kumar Personnel Bureau, Lajpat Nagar
2) Manju Nurses & Placement Services, East of Kailash
3) Karan Placement, Rajeev Nagar, Gurgaon
4) Harsana Placement Services, Sikanderpur, Gurgaon

This is to inform you that I had taken a maid from the maid servant agency (Powerful Servant Agency, Nand Nagri, Delhi). Since then she was constantly receiving calls from her home And so, she wanted to go back home. We requested the agency to take her back but they refused. So, we again pressurized the agency to take her back.
Since then we are asking the agency for replacement/ advance money but they are refusing to do so.
Yesterday, we got a letter from an advocate named “Meenakshi Agarwal” on behalf of the agency stating that we had done inhuman behave with the maid and asking for the money against the damage. I & my wife are working and we had kept her to take care of our small (5 months) child. This way they want to create mental pressure on us.
We perceive that this agency is a fraud and they do this on continuous basis with some client or the other. So, we want that some action should be taken against that agency and we also want our money to be back. Also some serious action needs to be taken as they are more like criminal to society.

We asked for a maid from Kumar Placement agency in Lajpat Nagar with a commission of 9000 and 3000 for maid per month. The maid that they sent was useless and argue with us. We asked for replacement after 15 days. We called a person called Manoj at least 100 times but he was always saying there are no replacements as of now. Finally, she leaves one day. My husband then went to Lajpat nagar and got another one but she turned out to be a drunkard and left within 10 days. Now we are chasing that person on phone every day for our refund or replacement but to no avail.
Please let us know if we can fiile a complaint against these agencies somewhere.

Kumar Placement Agency is a group of fraud people, they are running 3 centers at a time. First one in Lajpat nagar, dilshad colony and other one from different name "Jaya placement agency". First my mother received a maid from them, she worked fine for around 15 days, in the mean time i also asked for a maid, they send me a small girl who is just 11 or 12 years old, i send her back very next day. This placement agency have a practice of calling maid at there own center once in a month. After completing one month at my mother house they called her back as she wants to meet her relative. since then she didn't turn back. My parents are continuously calling to them for replacement but every time they says maids are not coming from there home town.
Now they are keeping two commissions one is from my mother other one is from me. Neither they are sending any maid nor returning the commissions total is Rs 20000. I request all visitor to take some action against them to get our money back or is their any other way of getting out of this problem or busting the racket of this placement agency

To add to my woes, the maid who was supposed to join but never joined started calling me & abusing me stating that she has been thrown out of the house by me & that I owe her 1 month salary. The agency team of innumerable Rahul's Sahils, Rajesh's, Ajit's & what not are also harassing me & refuse to refund my money.

In fact the main business of the agency is to pick money like this from the needy and use delay tactics to make them tired and effort less. We all go effortless after a time and may even ignore it if the amount is small, after little follow up and... this is the point of which the agency takes advantage and make huge annual gains beyond our imagination. This is one side of the story. You will be shocked to know that they not only pick our pockets but also of the poor maids.
We all need to put our foot down against all this nonsense.
I have filed a consumer case hoping that they will stop cheating people further. It is not at all difficult and can be done with very little efforts. The case is running fine and agency is ready to pay and compromise right from the first date of hearing. I hope the agency learns from this.

Respected Sir / Madam,This is in regards to a serious problem which has being caused to me by the placemnet firm mentioned above. Anju placement is responsible for providing a maid service . Recently in the past six months i had two replacements amongst which one of them ran away after taking his salary and has not been found as yet . On informing the same to the placement they were quite rude initiatlly and provided a replacement after a week. the replacement servant after working for one month started asking for more money and salary advance inspite of signing a contract with them for Rs. 3000.00/- . The servant refused to work on denying salary advance and salary increase so soon and went back to the placement without informing. The placement took no resposibility initially but later on sent the same servant back . the servant worked for one more month and then vanished one morning. On informing the placement ,they said they would send a replacement in a day or two's time. its been over a week and inspite on constant phone calls and office visits they have not sent the replacement. The two people sititng at their office (Sahil and Ajith) were quite rude and used bad words when we asked for our money back since they could not provide a replacement . We have got puppy at home which was the prime concern for keeping a maid. It has been really very difficult to manage office due to the same reason as the house cannot be left alone. Would appreciate a complaint logged for the same against the placement for causing such inconvinience.
