Auto Fare — Demanding more money

Hi,

I wanted to take an auto from agara junction in outer ring road to parangipalaya in HSR Layout (less than 2 Km). None of the auto drivers were ready to come for an amount less than 30 Rs. I checked with around 3-4 autos and the charges they demanded ranges from 30-45. The 2 KM road is no traffic, no one way and it was around 1.00 PM. Finally i have to take an auto by paying 30 Rs. I checked with couple of my friends and i came to know the auto drivers themself as a group fixed the minimum fare as 30. So the commuters needs to pay if they need to travel. Please do something seriously to force the auto drivers to use the meters.
