On Vadodara Airport, geting rickshow is big headache. When I go to Airport from my home Nizampura, I pay around 45 Rs (meter charge). but when I come back from airport to my home (on same route) I pay 200 Rs. (unbelievable naah). They have association overthere and force customer to pay what they decided. they use very rough lenguage with our guests. As a Barodian I feel very bad.
My reqest is for you please do needful.

Also, rickshaw drivers are like this ALL over the city, not just around the airport. I stay around Mānjalpur and have traveled to various places on the north side, like for the airport, for glasses, etc. I had one driver promise 150 Rs, and then as he was driving, he was saying something to me (I am deaf, divyaṅg). When I arrived at my destination on the other side of town, he asked for 300 Rs. I had to put him in his place.
"You said 150 Rs. back there, remember?"
"No, 300."
"You said, 150! I would not have agreed to ride with you for 300!"
I gave him 150 Rs, and he looked disappointed. I then realized that the speech he was making on the way there was "300 Rs". I kept telling him "divyaṅg" and pointing to my hears and showed him my hearing aid. He wanted to change the price on me on the way down.
Vaḍodarā, you have to do something about these Rākṣasas in control of these auto-ricks. Bust them down for overcharging, having non-functional meters AND no rate cards! And they overcharge foreigners, Indian or not!
I want to see meters working and rate card displayed prominently, or we are moving to Uber. Let these Rākṣasas suffer for their unethical behaviors. This is supposed to be an island of dharma within Vaḍodarā. Live up to it our get out of the city, please.
