The auto drivers have no limitations in asking auto fares. Also the meters are not working in the auto, consumers are not able to judge the fares. As petrol prices are rising by 5 Rs, in general: the auto fares of minimum Rs.20 raised to Rs.30, even double. Not able to understand the logic. No one is there to look after this. Kindly look this as the serious issue. I have faced lot of serious problems like this. One of the incident happened when travelling from Porur to Kattupakkam at night 8.30pm: As the road near the house from the main road is not good, the auto driver dropped me 1km before the destination and telling, if I want to move further, you have to pay extra amount. As I told I will not pay any extra amount from whatever committed, he is shouting in his local language and asking me to get down and got the money. I had noted down his number i.e. TN07 K 3147. I was complaining this, because this type of incident should not continue for a longer time. Main problem is, there are no strict rules in Chennai for having meter in the auto. Auto services — Auto services from Taramani to RMZ are
Auto services from Taramani to RMZ are very worst.They are not giving responsible to Passengers.They are changing Rs.20 from Taramani-RMZ (per person) ,if we accompany any person with us (Two person).they are charging Rs.30On the way, they are carrying some person in the front seat of Auto (They charged separate money from them ) and also charging Same money from normal passengers (who is in auto).
In the night time (After 9:00 clock itself) they are charging Double amount for auto services (Rs.40 per head).If we ask any thing,They answered in BAD words and say “You do what ever you can”
There is no equal in Auto charge for all passengers,In IT sector so many North indian are using AUTO services .They are not know the Tamil language,For them they are collecting more charges.
