The south 24 Pgs police verification is completed but yet to receive any call for Police verification at my Bongaon address.
Till date 84 days have gone passed since I have applied and hence decided to bring the matter at your kind notice.
Please do the needful at your end to expedite the process.

To Shri Amarendra Khatua,
JS [PV] ,
Ministry of External Affairs,
Dear Sir,
Please go through the mail trail!
It has been now 121 Days and still counting.
I have applied for my passport on 8th March, 2011 and till date my status of application is showing as "Police Report has not been received" and unhappy not to see any resolution in spite of your office's intervention.
Request you to please intervene to expedite the process as it's already too late as per the timeline mentioned.
My father visited Barasat Moyna DIB office and saw the DIB comes there every day at 3 PM and till 1 PM they collect slips of people who want to meet him and at 3 pm DIB starts meeting people.
It's unnecessary to say that the behaviour of the officials there are unacceptable and outragious.
Unknowingly my father reached this distant district office at 2 PM and they refused to listen to him as if the process of collecting slip is well defined and publicised.
Please intervene at the earliest.
Yours faithfully,
Ginia

Is there any addressal of such complaints ! Even the most of the renown travel agents authorised to act as passport agents agree that D|IB, Barasat, in NOrth 24 Parganas district is notorious! It appears to be known to one and all. Why authority concerned is sleeping over the issus? There DM. ADM, SP in the district and in a state there should be vigilant anti corruption department too. Alas they all sleep or lick there palm with unduly received grafts it seems!
Thousand Annas can not remove corruptions from our soceity; specially in departments like Police, Income Tas, Land revenue et el
