I, Mr shaikh Gulam gause having airtel prepaid connection no [protected], while I am trg to call for any enquiry or greiviences to the customer care no the reply comes some time that no does not exists, some time caLL recieved but when i am choosing option 9 for talk to customer care executive the call disconnect or reply comes check the number you had dialed, it means airtel is cheating with the people of India, or their customer care executive is cheating with airtel as well as customer also.In the may 2007 one sms i recived regardind 1000 sms and in just 50/- rs, then i give call to customer care executive and enquire about the scheme and customer care executive reply that all the local 1000sms is in 50/- then i enquired that local means what then he replied that local means maharashtra goa and mumbai's mobile no is local. then after full enquiry i activated after refilling of 50/- but after activation message also my all local sms were charged 1/-per sms, then i complained to customer care executive and also visit the airtel gallery at vasai after reciving message that wrong charges will be recredited but i am very sorry to say that now almost 6 months left not a single rupee return back, on yesterday 29/11/2007 i give one call to mumbai land line number where always my call charges were dedeuctd by 1.50rs per minute but yesterday the call charges for 1.30mnts call was 5.30rs. and many more question which required ample of time. airtel is awarded best service provider in the gsm service but I think airtel also want worst service provider award by customer. on the last month your customer care executive talk very abusive language,

Airtel Connection — Trying to deactivate some services but customer care number is not exist.
I am using AIRTEL in UDAIPUR RAJASTHAN since last 2 yearson my connection few services is activate. Now I want to diactivate
all but when I dail 121 tap start for customer care I press 9 but the actual problem start when I press 9 to talk to customer care and message comes that this number (which I press) is not a valid selection while in tape that number is reserve to talk to customer care. now what can I do for same.
I am facing this problem since last 2 months.
and for those services paid which i dont want at all.

I Shrikant Atmaram Wagawad from Nanded (Maharashtra) have been trying to deactivate the GPRS connection since last two weeks. For activation I send the sms GPRSACT to 511 and for deactivation GPRSDEACT to 511 but since last two week due to your side problem it’s imposible to get deactivated GPRS connection.
Sir, due to this problem without reason I loose my money from my Airtel card and is about more than Rs. 150. Why it is being happened with me I don’t know about this but why should I pay for the same? I complained about this to our nearer Airtel customer care office. I explained everything to them, but they just took down my Airtel no. and said me that there is some problem with the Server in this reason and we are trying to correct within a day. Sir, this is the 4th day but still my money is loosing from my card. It means not a single action would have been taken from them I thought they were just trying to neglect my complain.
Sir, I am an Engg. Student and in tense only because of this problem. What do I do? Therefore I thought that it is better way write a latter to you. Sir, if this type of services your company gave to the customer, then why should they buy your Airtel services. I’m sorry to say you that atleast from now onwards I have to think about buying Aritel services and worn to my friends and other peoples.

I'm using prepaid card of Airtel for last 2 months. Without reasons they have deactivated my services. When i call from my friend's cell who's having airtel. Customer care told that this number does not exist. You contact airtel relationship centre.Poor airtel relationship guys does not know, because they are the helpess people in entire Airtel business cycle.
Searching for solution.

Airtel — excess debit for GPRS
I sent SMS to activate GPRS on 10th May at 8.00 PM.and the GPRS activated at 10.00 PM. On 11th at about 8.00 PM I sent messag to Deactivate. Airtel is supposed to cut only Rs.15/- from my account but after 5 days, when I checked they have deducted Rs.75/-. In this connection I called thier Customer Care department number of times, but their executive disconnect the line and somethim do not give any proper reply.I sent 13 reminders to their Customer Care through e-mail and the only replies were Automated 'system is down shall get in touch within 72 hours.'. I also sent SMS to them. They are least bothered. This is the attitude of one of the leading Telecon Company.

Airtel — increase in charges after changing to lifetime from prepaid connection
I have airtel connection with nos-[protected]. i took the sim card with scheme of Re-.99 in some of the states like jharkhand, u.p., rajasthan etc. but later on i received a message from your side that with rs196 you can get your sim in a lifetime scheme with no terms and conditions mentioned in it.Still then i called up in your service center asking about a doubt of charges after lifetime scheme. but i was informed that therewill be no verification in any prices so i went along with your scheme. later on when i started calling through my cell i was charged Rs1.50 for all my std calls and re1 for all local calls.
my question is that when you offer any kind of schemes, why dont you clear the terms and conditions implied before offering taking the scheme?
why do you all just try to confuse us and try to make us fool in your stupid schemes like all this?
why you all show something else and provide something else that is never beneficial to us?
why do you keep such a staff that cant clarify your schemes to members and misguide them all?

Airtel Prepaid — No customer care access & unwanted pre-deactivation of GPRS service
Dear Sir/Madam,I am unable to connect the customer care executive through my mobile ([protected]) since around last one and half month. I had complaint several times regarding the same but the Airtel Customer Care Executive are not even ready to give me the complaint number. At last one Customer Care executive gave me the complaint no.[protected] on August 22, 2008, but the result is again "ZERO" till date. I had e-mailed to Airtel customer care regarding the same and also received an acknowledgement with the commitment to solve the problem within 24 hours, but their 24 hours are yet not completed i.e. yet the problem is as it is (please see the provided copy of my e-mail as well as the acknowledgement of the e-mail).
I got a GPRS activation confirmation message on September 08, 2008, at 11.28 a.m. after my request of GPRSACT, but the GPRS service was abruptly deactivated by you (Error: Network unavailable) at around 6 p.m. on the same day. I had complaint regarding the same at around 9.30 p.m. and got the complaint no.[protected] but without any commitment of time to solve the problem (please listen the recording (no.1) of the conversation provided herewith, which ended abruptly due to some unknown reason). Again, when I had tried to follow up on next day i.e. 09.09.08 at around 6 a.m. regarding the complaint no customer care executive was answering me though my call was attended by them (please listen the recording (No.2) provided herewith.)
Since the last one and half month I am badly getting harassed by the Airtel e.g. sometimes there are excess deductions of amount, abrupt disconnection of my call (as mentioned above), no reply for my complaints and so on...
Overall, as on today (September 9, 2008),
1. I am unable to connect the Airtel customer care executive through my mobile.
2. Unwanted pre-deactivation of my GPRS service (I don’t know how your are going to compensate it).
3. ***THE WORST COSTOMER CARE SUPPORT.***

I m using airtel since more than 2 years & this is the second time happend that the top up card that airtel provides is sometimes useless because when u scratch the card half the numbers in the card cannot be seen . this card was brought from a nearest medical shop & the person just refused to replaced the card & i was told to visit Airtel gallery for the same just for Rs 30. This is to inform you that on going through my pre-paid mobile bill account, since last few days, it is observed that an amount of Rs.2/- per day have been deducting from my account reguarly. As I am not aware of the reasons for this deduction, yesterday (04.01.2009), I called your Customer Care Service and one (Mr Rishi) and then I talked to Mr Baban. They informed me that a scheme has been activated on my Mobile since 24th November 2008 for which Rs.0.50 per minute will be charged on local calls and for that scheme you are deducting Rs.2/- per day. This scheme has been activated without my knowledge. Immediately, I informed that I don’t want such scheme & the same may be discontinued with immediate effect. He assured that the same will be discontinued within 9 hours. However, when I checked my balance today, to my shock, I found that again Rs.2/- has been deducted from my balance, without honouring the promise given to me. I strongly believe that this is unfair on the part your customer care representatives in activating schemes the without informing the subscriber and the poor subscriber have to pay for it.
I now request you to use your good office and arrange to credit the amount debited from my prepaid account on this scheme with immediate effect since this scheme is activated without my request and knowledge.

I've been facing the same problem. What Airtel is trying to do is very simple. If we can't contact Airtel, we can't register a complaint as per TRAI norms. If we go to court Airtel will claim that we never approached them in the first place and the case will be thrown out as we haven't exhausted all options for resolution. I'm a lawyer. Its time we sued Airtel together for fraud. Please mail me at [protected]@gmail.co. I am sure I can use my skills and my background as a lawyer from India's best law school and my contacts with consumer protection agencies to move TRAI or any other relevant authority so that Airtel stops perpetrating this massive fraud on consumers. I personally cannot handle a case as I work for a pvt. company, so you can be assured that I'm no trying to further my interest except that of bringing these companies to justice.

This is to inform You I am Bhabani Sankar Singh, Mob No - [protected]. I just applied to change my Mob from post paid to prepaid on the Dt 09/01/2009 and also deposited all the document as per the Vasai outlet peoples asked me. But already five days over these outlet peoples are playing with me because before two days from Dt 9/01/2009 i have some cross talk with Mr. kishor Saha. And these guy told am the owner of the outlet Airtel cannot do anything. Go and complaint as your wish at anywhere. After five days when am calling to your customer care they told your document is not submitted. I think these Vasai outlet peoples are intentionally not deposited my documents. Am just explaining why this cross talk happen"On 6th Jan 2009 i went with all my document to outlet they told no bring other document and 7th Jan 2009 again i was there with all the document as they asked me but once again they told me no this is not sufficient bring other document like my Brothers PAN card Etc that time i told ok already i took two days of leave from my company for this small thing pls give me a concrete detail of the document and tomorrow i will come with that documents. Mr. kishor Shah told no its not possible. I can't confirm you that these document will be sufficient or not.
After this i call customer care minimum 27 times some one told all services activated from our side pls go to the out let, Some told document not submitted. Some one told it will take 24 Hours some one told we cannot help you .
Pls sir / Madam pls help me on this matter as i am feeling helpless . For finding theses mail ID's i have to call a lot of peoples and also your customer care .

Then i call customer care they told me the Rs. 99 tarrif is converted into Rs. 97 tarrif and Rs. 99 tarrif for the life time recharge which i don't want .all this is happened due to the lack of information by the retailer and now he is not commiting his mistake.So please help me and transfer this life time recharge into std tarrif for 3 months validity with Rs 1/min call rate.oterwise can't tolerate all these anymore and definitely i'll drop my connection.

We sorry to write the nonsense service of Airtel. We are using the FWP service cordless phone which is one year validity and the Balance is at present Rs.288.19 paise. We could not make a single call. Whenever we trying to call the message is comming your Airtel Magic card is running under grace period please recharge validity coupon to making call. We have tried to recharged Rs. 250/- one validity coupon but it is not able to recharge. We complaint to Airtel Customer Care center. Somebody pickup the phone and give the another toll free number. If we call in that the person give the previous number again. Really we are faidup on Airtel stuppied service. The workers are sitting on the table of customer service simply cheating instead of helping the customer.
