finance — not able to pay debt

Sir,

I want to know is it possible in India to declare bankrupcy ? As of now there are so many job cuts and recesion, even if employed the salary is not paid properly or under paid or cut in salary due all this finance problem as arised which made the person not able to pay is due to banks or moneylender properly. So I just want to know is there any way out for this kind of people instead of getting onself killed it is better to live and declare that he is not able to pay any dues and can be free of mind and heart.

Yes, Iam also facing a probelm with CC from one of the bank in Dubai. Last week I received one call from Indian (Bilkish Associates) and they
told to settle the card in one payment. As I am already under pressure from other banks, is there any option left for me. pls advice.

My Compatriots in the fight against ‘predatory banks’ and their ‘terrorist collection agencies’ : UAE Like many middle eastern countries have medieval, ruthless & biased laws------Anywhere in the world financial debt is treated as nothing more than a ‘Civil Delinquency’---but HERE if you even so miss a single payment ; they put you in jail and throw away the key.

Here is a country that has given a free run to these ‘Banking Predators’ who come to you with their ’32 watt smiles’ when things look rosy but when the situation takes a downturn for you----you get to see their real Ugly Side.

My friends----‘Bilkish Associates’ is nothing but a ‘Barking Dog’ . If you so happen to Google ‘Bilkish Associates’ ---you will find a rather nice assortment of such wonderful charges against them like money laundering, harassment, criminal intimidation and last but not the least : being a front for the ’Pakistani ISI’. (Do you know that they have an office based out of Karachi, Pakistan???).

If these are the kind of scum that are trying to intimidate you then my message to you is : ‘Be Strong’.

Debt happens in life------but you have most certainly not committed some horrendous crime for you to get reported to the Interpol . The Interpol has certainly more important things to do ----than go after credit card or loan defaulters-----Infact what the Interpol should be doing is to go after terrorists like Dawood Ibrahim who have stashed away billions of rupees in Balack money and Invested them through UAE Banks in the Middle East.

My frends -----when a person gets into debt (Whatever the reasons may be) ----he is under financial & emotional stress----this is what these illegal agencies tend to exploit. ‘Fear’ is used as an intimidatory tactic and they prey on your guilt.

You have nothing to be guilty about----Our country has laws unlike the ‘Banana Republics’ and ‘Dictatorships’ of the Middle east.

I am under a similar situation, i have been repeatedly getting calls from Bilkish associates from mumbai and bangalore to repay my cc debts, my card limit was 8000 dirhams i returned to india in 2010 couldn't go back due to family and my fathers health related issues, my question is as its been more then two years why dint they get back to me for the recovery from 2010, as they called me all of a sudden and asking me to pay 13000 dirhams when i asked the person who has called that why dint they approached me after 6 months of my returns when my debt would have not more then 9000 dirhams and the currency exchange rate was around 11-12rs?? he dint have any answer for that rather then talking to me rudely. He said i can't go to any GCC country as my complaint is been registered in immegration and i will be caught then and there?? would want to know from all of you that apart from UAE is any other country has a right to arrest me in immegration??
Since i am not in a position to repay still i wanted to settle down the CC debt by borrowing the money from someone, i asked the person who had called to give me the best settlement figure then he said he will not give me any such option i will have to pay the amount whatever is due..

Kindly help me coming out of this tensed situation as i dont want these guys to go till my house as my father is a heart patient and i dont want him to get into any health trouble.

Dont be afraid of these recovery agents . In India they cant do anything. Just ensure that you dont travel to GCC henceforth as the you might get arrested at the airport.

I have the same situation here in Qatar the cc I have is from 2002. Forcing me to pay hundreds of thousand riyals with just 2k amount of cc. I was terminated with the first company i worked which I took the cc. Forgot about it and am still working here. But the people from bilkish harassing me is from philippine office while am still here in qatar. Wondering why not the bank office here contacting me. I was stressed with this people and thet dont know how to be polite and ask in good way. They were always angry and seems that ready to make war.

I was have same problem with that people. Continue call me and send me emails to pay 42K repain in RAK Bank.
I was ask them ok no problem but please send me copy of my cheque and the bank statement of the same month of issue my cheque but said as per bank policy we can't to send you.
He knows of i will check the bank statment and my cheque of have different amount. That done all the banks there, and of if i have that doc in my hand i can open case agains to them. For 40K of i took before i was pay more to 120K and ask for 42K more. his crazy.
Please advice if can to block me via Interpol or to ignore them

I was in Dubai and i was doing good job and my life well settle by i trapped by the bank salesman and i draw loan on credit card and other direct loan by uae banks, I went on vacation and after some time my company sent me a letter that your service no more required here in company due to no new project. So my visa got cancel automatically. after 5 yrs the bilkish guy calling and threating that we will suite a case in civil court and your name will be given to Interpol and you will be trapped at emigration. I want to know from any one of my friend that ther such provision that they can do so or they are just harassing and mentally harassing me. please advise me what to do.

Dont Worry, Bilkish will not harm you, they are nothing. If they tell u they will file case...TELL THEM TO DO IT & CALL WITH PROOF. They cannot do anything, But just use threatening skills to extract money. They are not even registered company. Then why are you afraid. Go to the nearest Police Commissioners Office & meet ACP, they will help. My friend had done the same. Now he is free from the problem. So dnt worry.

bilkish associates cant do anything here in India .we were all working in Dubai or g cc country and getting our salary.but crisis came in and we had to come back, so where was the big deal left.till we where there in uae we had handful salary, we were paying our installment .now we don't have any job left . how can we pay, that toothe bankers were charging credit shield from us just to ensure that if we dont pay the amount they would recover the money from insurance company.they have already got their money back.
these bilkish buggers are taking amount from us just to get their commission .
i[censored] are a defaulted in Dubai than please don't go to Dubai unless and until u check in the immigration.but u can go to any other g cc country except from Dubai.
