[Resolved]  BMC — dog catcher

I am a resident of dahisar, N.L.complex, Arjun apartment, there is a stray dog who has entered the society and not ready to go away and also tried to bite the children playing down. He has also attacked me ands my friends today morning and does not allow anyone to come out of the wing. He has troubled us a lot. He even goes to harm all the cats and other small animals. I was searching from so many days for a dog catcher but could not get it. I request you to send a dog catcher in our society to catch that dog so we can stay peacefully and don"t have to get scared of him.He may bite the children and other old people so I request you to send a dog catcher quickly so nobody is harmed.

B.m.c — Catch dogs

I am staying at .plot no 10 gorai 2 borivali west mumbai 400092. and my complaint is that at night dogs are making so much noise we cant sleep at night so please catch those dogs they are around 10 to 15. Thanks.

I am a resident of Golders Green Housing Society, I C Colony, Borivali (W), Mumbai and am facing problems caused by stray dogs in this area. Even today morning one dog bit me. Please send dog catchers in this area so we can get rid of this problem.

i am a dog lover. we been having lots of dogs in our house since my birth. any dog that didn't have a home he could find one at our house, in the out skirt of bhopal ...malviya nagar, new market now...it was around 1960...my mother was a large hearted women...who would daily cook atleast 2 to 3 kgs of chapaties for all o[censored]s(her 5 children and 5 dogs)...but the things have changed a great deal there are no more outskirt of the cities and the population has grown exponentially...vertically and horizontally so really there is no place for these animals. people now have become hoarders, accumalators of wealth god only knows where they are going to take all this accumulated wealth...every body need to die irrespective of cast, religion, rich or poor...but we go on stashing cash...we dont want to improve/ beautify/ live hygenically, the infrastructure is nil, the surrounding area...is all filth... but more than the surrounding area our minds are full of ...so we live in a big slum called mumbai...ha ha ha
and the good old dogs have really nothing to eat but to be digging the so called society dustbins, garbage bins, BMC garbage points...there are no more points it is now garbage areas, garbage colonies, garbage streets, garbage politicians, garbage police, garbage administration...garbage people of this great garbage country celebrating indipendance day.
i am aware you wish to get rid of the dogs at borivli slum area where you live...but it slum all over and the issue is not of elimination of the dogs but elimination of the Garbage Politicians, Garbage Police & the Garbage Administration... from this great indian slum. now there are no dogs and human beings but only CORRUPT HUNGRY WOLFS & HYNA. and we (ALL O[censored]S SO CALLED INDIANS) have no better thing to do than to CRIB AND COMPLAIN about this largest indian democracratic CORRUPT SLUM.

hey electraref i am living in bhopal, i have two 8 month old female dogs(not as a pet), 9 mnths before a lovley female dog has given 6 puppies in my colony from which 4 were killed in 2 months...we save 2 of them they are in good condition but i can not keep them because i don't want to tie a collor on them i want them to live naturally and also there is lot of opposition from selfish neighbors, can you plz help me so that i can give them to some safe hands...plz help...

Dogs menace is increasing every day and night.They run after kids, motorbikes and bigger problem is now a days they bite also. in last 2 months they must have bitten 10 persons including kids. Please look into the matter and i would request for a dog van as soon as possible.Catching hold of them at night time would may be a great idea.

i an located in curry road east near trivani sadan (near curry road cha kaivari ganpati), on 5th July at 5.30AM while going to my office some 4 or 5dogs stabbed me from behind and bite on my left leg because of that i was hospitalized for 3days and took 20 to 22 injections in 3days.

i would request you to catch them so that innocent people will save their life from street dongs.

Hi I'm a resident of chunnabhati sion (landmark bhakti dham mandir) uppal Ganpati building. There's a stray dog in my society and he is a creating nuisance by running after vehicles, biting children, barking incessantly, chasing the residents of the building.
Please catch the dog asap as day by day it's becoming difficult to move out of the house due to fear. Please look into the matter and solve the issue urgently.

I have been calling various BMC offices in reference to catch the stray dogs away from my area. Called on 8th of August 2018 on[protected]contact number found from google search) wherein a lady answered the call and I was given contact number of my ward in Kandivali west responsible for the same ie.[protected]. From here I was given Cattle point which is also part of BMC number ie[protected]Mr. Parmar) who then gave me Dog Control Office #[protected] from where i was made to understand that they don't catch the dogs for good (as there is no such rule) but they just take them away for sterilization and then leave them back in the same locality. I then asked the gentleman as to why this information is not available on internet so his answer was to google rightly and to my knowledge there is no search results popping up with this piece of information.
I am surprised that the lady who first answered my call has full information on this subject but never shared the same. Why do people can't help out of the box and give complete information. Hence, the message is clear that there is no such rule of catching the stray dogs away by BMC in Mumbai so let us all live with the fact of incomplete sleep with the dogs bark & late night nuisance and suffer with health issues due to the same.

In Borivali West Yogi Nagar colony people get hurt and frighten by dogs chasing and bite. many times cycle or bike riders fell down and injured. Every day during nights there is fight between dogs, there fight and barking make lots of noise till 4.00 to 4.30am from night and its always disturbing the sleep which troubles during day on work. Need to catch all these dogs. Your immediate action would really give relief to all. Please DO THE NEEDFUL

I am a resident at Colaba Post Office. There were 3-4 stray dogs in the area previously, Now that no. has grown to 14.
They keep barking and fighting, people keep throwing food on the road to feed them...
Doesn’t feel like the same area anymore

I am located in Ganesh Nagar, badlapur west. On 14th of September after 2 pm while i'm going to Dmart on bike, in Ganesh Nagar 2 dogs stabbed me from behind, one from left and another from right, and bite on both of my legs because of that i was went to hospital immediately and took 2 injections and on coming weeks I've to visit again for couple of more injections.

I would request you to catch them and also, at night they keep barking and fighting and running after vehicles.

Hope you will take it seriously and resolve this issue on a high priority.
