Dear Sir,
I have had to make double property tax for the same period vide receipt number 0189698 dt 06/07/2006 and again on 07/10/2009 vide receipt number 427308 for the same period i.e. 200610. Surprisingly both the receipts are computer generated. So it seems there is error in system and ofcourse it is obviously human error who operates the system.
This type of error has direct impact on the property tax payer. Who has to run pillar to post to obtain the refund or adjustments of amount which is charged by mistake due to the failure of so called system.
I wish to say the realy culprit should be brought to the books immediately.
Please look into the matter and do the needful.
