[Resolved]  Bombay Suburban Electric Supply And Transport — arrogant behaviour

I am senior citizen and having BEST pass . I boarded in 299 bus route from front door at abhinav nagar, As the bus was crowded with standing passengers , till alighting my destination the bus conductor was near the rear door only.While getting down thev driver of bus stopped me for my ticket . As i told him that I am pass holder , he demanded my pass . Then he asked me to wait till conductor to check my pass . By that time all the passenger left the bus ,the conductor saw my pass and I was allowed to alight.. According to driver I must show the pass on my own to conductor ,though he may be away from me . I got frustated for this to imagine receiving such harrassment. When I complained to the BEST booth near Kasturba police station , their reply was same that i must show my pass to the conductor before leaving the bus .I do not mind if there is a rule like that but i request the authorities to display the rule in bus or on the pass itself ..

I boarded BEST bus route no. 59( my regular transportation for office) from Dadar plaza for bhakti park Wadala. on journey the bus didnot stop at bus stop at ruia college stop near 5 gardens inspite of school children running to catch the bus from behind. also the conductor was not ready to hault the bus at wadala
bridge stop when lady commuters were trying to board after caching the bus and conductor rings bell to start bus.On enquiry conductor abuses and gives reason of no space in bus which is not true.
the employee no on the batch on conductor is 22694. kindly let me know if this warrants the
disciplanary action or not? This is not one episode but is regular scene. Will anybody authority will pay heed or all this effort to improve service is futile?

Frequency of Bus No.320 operating from Kurla Stn (west) To Filterpada is very poor. I had been plying on the route from Kurla Stn to Chandivali for the last 10 years. But to my dismay the frequency of the bus is the same and thier is no improvement in the services so far. In the last ten years the amount of passengers has increased almost 10 times but the frequency of the bus is the same.

BEST should survey the route to find out the growth in the number of passengers and should also think towards introducing new routes as the growth in passengers has been due to the new offices of various Companies, Banks, BPOs which have come up in past couple of years.

It seems BEST is only worried of giving good services on route 310 which operates from Kurla Stn to BKC as their are government offices, courts, RBI, Income tax etc...
