I have bsnl broad band 2 mbps connection from 2 weeks it is very bad i tried to log complaing am not able to reach them because when evere i call to the toll free no they will not lift the call or they will disconnect the call.I was on hold for more than 30 min.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I have shifted my residence from Whitefield to B Narayanpura and subsequently I applied for shifting my telephone to the new location. (Old telephone No. 28416240, OB No.[protected]

I approached the Krishnarajapuram exchange 20 days back and they assured me that the connection will be given in 2-3 days. From then onwards I am running behind them for the connection and till date the connection is not given. They are not giving any reason for the same and just keep postponing it.

Kindly look into this and take necessary action at the earliest.

I was searching if there are any ways to make my bsnl resume working at an earliest. Looking at these blogs this makes me feel this is the BSNL, culture of poor service. I think its high time to think of some alternative service providers then fighting with these people who dont have a work ethics.

My broadband is not working for last 2 days... I keep calling them but no luck.. none pick the call...only dam hell music.. person who give complaint will get pissed off...

at the end they took the complaint morning 8:00 AM and told it will be fixed in 24 hours... I followed up a call by evening...

Then the new answer... it takes 3 days... tech team works 8 hours so 24 hours means 3 days.. When does this meaning changes for 24 hours to 3 days...

Can someone rectify such pathetic BSNL customer service..

I tried to contact BSNL for the past 1 week and nobody seems to pick-up the helpline. My landline has no dial tone and I know this is easy to rectify as it happened to me before. Does BSNL bangalore wont work without braveing. I recently shifted my landline broadband connection to other area i was been told i would receive both landLine and broadband connection together. But i received only landline connection after 2 weeks, when enquired it was found technician was not ready to put connection as i wont be available at home. Finaly after repeated complaint i got landline connection. When i forced for boardband connection to be done inspite of delaying again for 1 week when they again found me at home they disconnected my landline connection. All this is done because they need braveing money. What is this? Does that mean bsnl wont work without brave? The worst part of it was area manager himself accepted that thr people wont work without brave'g that was realy shocking.
I hope a proper action will be taken

REF: MY FAX DATED 13.1.09 addressed to Accts Officer (Com-ECS)

vide my above letter sent by fax I had made it clear that you have not effected my instructions of ECS debit to my account (accepted by you vide your ltr : CPTR-ECS-B CPT 06-2007/3 dated 4.12.08), thereby causing inconvenience to me by disconnecting my land line as well as braod band connection on 13.1.09. After receipt of my cited FAX, you had contacted me on my mobile [protected] and requested me to pay by cash towards bill dt 7.12.08, as u cannot effect ECS for the said bill on 13.1.09 and from my bill dated 7.1.09 onwards the ECS debits will be done promptly.

Had you contacted me on or before due date ie.30.12.08 of your encountering problem in effecting ECS debit (first debit after my opting for ECS), I would have gladly paid the amount as hitherto, to avoid unpleasantness and unnecessary correspondence.

Even now, at this juncture, if you have any problem in effecting ECS debit to my account, I would opt to pay the bill amount on or before due date of each month as hitherto being paid by me.

Now to my utter surprise, you have charged Rs.100/- for dishonouring ECS (amount was very much made available on 30.12.08 in my account) and added back Rs.8/- (discount allowed for ECS debit) and penalising me for no fault of mine. Hence this amount is not payable by a customer (me) who is prompt in paying bills every month before due date and to avoid further unpleasantness and compel me to approach Consumer Court for the above charges, Hope you will do ECS debit of only Rs.[protected] and confirm at the earliest by email, regarding this query and avoid further unnecessary correspondence in this matter.

BSNL broadband combo — cross talks and dial tones while making calls

we have a landline and broad band connection - the last two days we have been having this problem of cross talks and dial tones (as if somebody else is dialing while we are talking) on the land line. our complaints to the authorities have not yielded any response till now.

BSNL Bangalore — no service, no attempt to serve

The most irresponsible public company in inida, big time advertising using big time stars all over, the service is so bad, we had no land line, or internet for the last 3 weeks! The shameless people still wnat the bills paid in full, several complaings and letters to take off the charges when the servie is not provided dis not get any response, No one seems to have the power to do anything to help the customers, what a shameless company, i wish we have other and better alternatives, but all of them are the same and much more expensive, So called tech advanced India, this is the state of affairs in the IT capitlol of the country, shame on these companies that give such poor service

BSNL Bangalore — Telephone Line getting dead very frequently. Request for cahnging broadband paln not carried out

1. Since April 2009 telephone lines and Braodband services are frequently getting out of order. During this time telephone complaint number [protected] whicj is IVR system keeps on ringing and no answer. Each time the telephone is downm it takes one week to get repair.

2. I have been wrongly charged for Rs 975/- for additional usage chrges for Braodband usage. However, my broadband plan is Home Plan 500 which is for unlimited usage. This was informed to me when I had opted for this pln. Only in April 2009 the charges of additional usage has been charged.

3. I have given written application for changing my broadband plan from Home Plan 500 to Home Plan 750 in May 2009 but the same is not changed.

4. The BSNL monthly telephone bill which comes to me every month does not reflect my correct name. The name printed on bill is Ashok Najmudar where as it should be Ashok Majmudar

I am not sure whether this complaint will make any effect.

1st time I wrote when there were issues in getting my BSNL broadband working when new line was taken. Now after 1.5 month after that I have again an issues with same broadband connection.

Again I have problem with internet again.Internet gets disconnected every 10 minutes. This problem is raised since one month

For the above number, i have raised complained with BSNL since last one month. I have been trying to get this working till date but no success yet. I am only paying rent from my pocket which is helping only BSNL and not me.

I had different responses from different people of BSNL.

1) Area Managaer (Babi) tell this is line problem and will be be solved by July 10, 2009 approximately. I had met him personally on July 04, 2009.

2) Lineman (Mr. Bhupati) came to home to solve this for many times. As per him he says he has solved all problems, line is fine and all. But still the problem persists. On July 6, 2009 he comes and says it is not working with my modem. It works with BSNL modem. Infact he was person who had setup same modem when new line was taken. It was working fine. I have two modems both of which were working fine with Other service provider like Airtel.

Not sure is it just a way to get out of problem or not ?

3) Besides this I am in touch with Mr. Nageshappa, Mr. Manohar and Mrs. Malini

Can you please help me in getting this problem isolated and solved, because all time i talk to people they have their own execuses for internet not working.

I was able to use connection only 15 days since the time i have taken connection. I am unnecessary paying rental. Besides these i have to run around here and there to get problem solved.

So last option i have is to approcah you. Hope you would be able to help me in the solving problem.

If it does not solve, I will have to go to consumer court and cancel connection.

The outgoing calls from my telephone (no.[protected] has been barred. The reason told is that we have not made the payment due.

However, the last bill (no. [protected] dated 07.06.2009) for an amount of Rs. 451 was paid by me on 20.06.2009 at the BSNL consumer centre in Ganganagar. It was paid well before the due date of 30.06.2009.This was the first bill that we received after changing our house.

Right now I had provided with willphone which is giving frequent problems. My phone No. is[protected]. Right now no incoming and outgoing is there. Ocassionally outgoing will be there for few seconds and disappears while talking itself. I am facing hell lot of problems with your willphone. I am asking for cable type land line for the last two years to K.R. Puram telephone exchange but there is
no response from their end till date. I want to go for broadband also but because of this will phone I am not able to go for broadband. My present willphone works ocassionally only even then receiver always complaints that matter is not clearly audible. How long I have to wait with this willphone.
I am staying in Akashnagar, Doorvaninagar Post area. My neighbours who stayed in the next cross of Rajarajeswari layout people have got a P&T line whereas I do not have a P&T line. I had already waited for 2 years even then no action has taken from your Kr Puram exchange to provide P&T line.
This is very very bad on BSNL's part. Please look into the matter and resolve the landline phone problem and give a permanent solution. I was frustrated with your services totally. No one lifts the phone itself when we want to lodge the complaint itself.

I disagree with some of the above comments. BSNL has been responding to complaint in rreasonable time.

The cables connecting my telephone 22861712 and a few other houses near mine were damaged because of the fall of a broken tree branch on them on Sunday[protected].

On complaint from me doc. 1355. one of the lines man was on the spot to assess the damage. He has gone back to the local exchange to report and arrange for the new cables to replace and rectifie the damage. I am confident the work will be completed in a coupl of days.

I have gone up to the office in Cox town (near gymkhana ground) for 5 times in the last 2 months and have complained that there was a lot of disturbance and cross talk, now no dial tone. No body, I repeat no body has even bothered to have a look into this.

However, without fail I am getting a bill every month for rental charges and no calls made. It is a shame to call this a government organisation.

I want to make it very clear that I will not pay a penny towards my bills and I want this number to be disconnected immediately.

The staff at the office have a lot of attitude and think they are kings and the customers are slaves. I have never seen a pathetic firm like this anywhere else.

    I have a BSNL internet connection. I am unable to connect to some sites many of the times. It takes a very long time for the connection to be set initially. The connection is also frequently lost during the normal browsing. I find no speed in connectivity. Kindly do the needful .

    We are using DataOne broad brand.We forgot portal ID. How can we getback. How can we know Howmuch we downloaded.
    We are getting very very slow connection on 500 Home Combo Plan for about one month. The spped is about 25 Kbps. On complaining local body, no one is taking it seriously. They are telling that the problem is from Bangalore Server end. Please solve as soon as possible. The matter is completely suitable for taking to Consumer Protection Forum.

    broadband connection was activated in the telephone no 2604034 in the name of Sri binoy Kumar deka at uzan bazar guwahati under kamrup telecom circle at Guwahati. Despite of numerous complaints been made to concerned official over phone, personal contact, emails but nothing has been done so far for last one month. As such the said connection is required to deactivated due to bad service by the service provider. the said connection is not at all required. kindly disconnect the same at the earliest.Highly dissatisfied with the service of broadband in the guwahati region .

    I have DATAONE connection in Ahmedabad, initially for a year from 2007 it was ok, since more than 6 months the speed is pathetic with a connection speed subscribed is 256 kbps wherein the speed is much lesser than dial up. I repeatedly complained to BSNL, but none of them are bothered to come over and resolve looking the situation. I even suggested that you may please RESET my Broadband connection so that it may have some difference but now the senior BSNL Managers say that better change your PLAN to HOME U/L 1350 which will have 512 kbps which canonly solve the problem. If so then why you want to sell Home U/L Plan of 750 with 256 kbps ? Please do take immediately. My most of the work is based on line itself.

      I had downloaded at night from 2:00 A.M to 8:00 A.M (2nd August: within the free usage hours) but that amount of space (MB) is not excluded from the total used space. I came to know it while I check the service record.
      The download speed is not also as expected. Most of the time link is not available and the connection is also getting disconnected after a certain while.
      The service and customer support is very much poor. The do not take any step after informing such a problem.

          Dear Sir,
          I applied for Shift of telephone from Airport Road to R T Nagar, after continuous follow up, at the end BSNL executives activated new connection No 23656084, and was asking Rs 500 as fees, for activating, I denied to pay it, since as per BSNL there is no charge / bribe to be paid, or encouraged.
          After this executives said, it will take 1 week to activate Broadband. Now from customer care 1500, I came to know that Broadband shift work order is not issued, they can not work on it. And given one No to follow up 23431100, when asked to the officer there, she given one more No to follow up.. 23434466 . This is very CHEAP.. Unless they dont get Bribe money they will not activate broadband ?, If phone is shifted, then why taking time for Broadband ?

                I have a landline number of BSNL at my home under plan 150 against which I have also issued a Broadband connection. This phone is issued in my uncle's name who is currently not using this phone & living outstation. He has already authorized me to use this phone with a written letter. Now I want to change the owner's name of this phone from my uncle to my name. I show this authorized letter with a last bill copy to BSNL officials, but they are not entertaining me. I also mailed to many authorities of BSNL by mail but no reply so far. My landline no. is 232433 in Barnala city (Punjab).

                  I have got connection of GPRS from 23rd Aug, but till today BSNL Staff have not guide me how to install the setting to connect GPRS with Laptop & Mobile. I also visit to the Officer of Mobile section at Raipur, but they cann't respond properly.

                    our phone line is dead since past one month, july middle to august till today date, we had done personal complaint in himayatnagar (near telegraphic office) we did meet the people incharged in that office 3-4 times but no action is being taken till now and 198 compalaint number of bsnl does not work by any mobiles after adding 040 too nor we have nearby any bsnl phone to remind them about this compaint on phone again and again, so please restart the phone soon, as we are facing lots of trouble by no phone line in use since long time and un-necessarly we have to pay one month's bill when we could not use phone line, will bsnl not take money for that one month time fault by them and is this the way to work in govt bsnl dept???
                    one land man also came and took 50rs from us to do complaint but did not trun back again .
                    we shall have this complaint in newspaper if it is not seen soon,

                      I've registered for the Do not disturb service with BSNL. But i'm getting promotional SMS from BSNL almost every day and rarely i get recorded calls also.

                      This is to bring to your kind information, that I have got broad band connection of BSNL from June 07 and under operation.
                      We used to receive the bills from June 07 to March 08 from Rs600- to Rs1200/-regularly as per the attached the copy of the bills with this letter, but we have received bills for April 08 for rupees 9965/- which is very high and which is not at all possible because we have not used broadband to that extent. We have not used broad band on 30/4/08 from 23.13.14Hrs 23.55.11 Hrs which has been shown in my bill, and there are number of instances which you will kindly find in your bill which have been under lines
                      .


                      I have somehow made payment of bill for March 08 in the month of April 08 which is not at all correct .but here after it will not be possible for me to make further payment of bills of such a big amount for which I am not responsible .I shall, therefore, request you to kindly intervene personally in the matter to rectify my bills, otherwise it will not be possible for me in future to use the broad band.


                      In the meantime I met Mr. S MONDAL and brought the entire matter of excess billing before him and stopped the net connection temporally.
                      I would also like to inform you that I have a part from your Broad band, some other connection which is mostly used.

                        Duly respect I like to complain you that I have enrolled the net pack service of Rs.122 on 3rd September at 9 pm and from the next morning when I used the internet surfing the illegal deduction have been started and till now Rs.80 have been deducted from my balance. I have complain the BSNL Customer Care Service on last 4th Sep. 09, complain no.- 3723696 and time to time I am requesting them to refund the deducted amount and to stop the illegal deduction but till now neither the amount has refund nor the deduction has stopped. Now the customer care service (at 9:20 pm) is telling that I am a liar and no illegal deduction has done.
                        Sir in this situation I have two options either you help me or I have to complain in consumer forum of India. Sir I didn’t like to complain you in such language but I am suffering from last 17 days and there is no responsible authority to solve my problem. I hope you will take initiative as early as possible and my problems will be solved very soon.

                            I am also experiencing the same thing. As i upgraded from H250 to H500C(new plan changed on mar 2009). But after getting the Status as open for new plan(500c) i started downloading after 2:30 am and logged out at 7:30 am. Preferabbly i used to log in only after 2:30 am & log out at 7:30 am for saftey. During that time i downloaded about 4.5 GB (Total down up link).rather than showing as night unlimited data it is showing as limited data & it says u are exceeding 1.5 gb free uasge. Now i am chared for that usage. Tomo i am going to bsnl to discuss abt it. Anyway i am not going to pay for that wrong uasge details. May be u should also contat bsnl office for this. BSNL Broadband is getting negative feedback from many sites for not giving proper service. I think many users sre getting this type of errenous usage details and sort it out faster before u get huge bill amount.
                            I have changed my broadband plan to 500 home from June 2009. While checking my usage I have found that on 3rd of June its been shown that i downloaded 2.75 GB data from 11.25 pm to 6.47 am which is extremely ridiculous. I downloaded the data after 2 am which is free of cost. Then I called up the customer care and they seemed to be clue less and they kept trying to prove the point that I downloaded that amount. For the sake of argument and logic, even if i agree that I downloaded that amount, I cant be charged for the amount which I downloaded between 2am to 6.43 am..
                            When I went to the BSNL office here, they told me that I need to switch off the modem once after 2am... then only I wont be charged...This is the most hilarious and funny thing I have heard in the recent times..I mean this is not 1857 but 2009 which we all know..And I have been quite well updated with new technologies but have never heard a thing like this...

                            As far as the customer "CARE" is concerned its even worse that customer torture..the executives seem to be most clueless people in this parallel universe...Even some of them seem not to understand simple and basic English..Its been more than a week now I have been running to the BSNL office and coming back with no positive response everyday..

                            I am a victim of the bsnl frauds, i usually go for sleep around 11.45pm,
                            I have a software named lan controlite it will disable and enable the lan connection automatically the thing we should do is just set the time.
                            i usually disable the lan connnection manually and set the time to 2.20 to enable the lan using the software then 7.50 as disable time b4 i go to bed. more than one month there is no problem in data usage but on 16-10-09 they charged me for night free usage the usage even i did the regular process which i mentioned above. in that time the data usage comes under chargable unit is above 2.8GB, my monthly free limit is 2.5GB only. This problem occured 100% due to the careless of the bsnl. mistake is on the bsnl side, i assure that i scheduled carefully. Please help me

                            I wud like to explain sm thing
                            BSNL server maintains the chargeable units by making session of 30 mins. They cant break ur downloading session at correct 2 or 8 am, instead they break it after 30 min o[censored]r start or login time( the time at which u plug in ur modem). So i[censored] started at 01:55 am, then this session will automatically break at 2:25 am and all the downloading done in this interval ( upto 2 : 25 am) will be charged as the session started before 2 am.
                            Either u start ur downloading after 2:30 for being safe or follow this trick i[censored] want ur d/nloading not to be charged after 2 am :

                            Plug in ur modem (on ur sleeping time) at either 11:02, 11:32, 12:02, 12:32, 01:02, 01:32 or 2:02 am . Then dont touch ( ie dont ON & OF[censored]r modem) till next morning .

                            Staring ur session at ni of d specified timing will break ur session at 02:02 am . And then all the downloading done will be free as the session startd or broken after 02 am.

                            For proo[censored] can see that their session period is either of an half hour or 1 hour or 1hr 30 min etc ie a multiple of 30 min

                            i[censored] plug in ur modem at 07:59 am, u will not be charged upto 8:29 am .

                            ATTENTION : these all timing sud be synchronised with BSNL server clock ( as displayed in BSNL potal website).

                            CONCLUSION: Is BSNL fault k kaaran laakhon log invalid bill pay krte hain aur BSNL apni jeb bharti hai...
                            BSNL waale anpad chor hain saale...

                              bsnl has customer care no. [protected] and cunsumer has to wait atleast 15 to 20 mts. to talk any attendent. But customer care agent talk in such a haste and rudely that he is talking to some unwanted person. we are consumer and we pay for everything but they treat them as unwanted this is wrong.

                              I totally agree with this. I launched a compaint with Thoraipakkam, Chennai office and it is still pending after 5 days. BSNL worker who come to fix our line is only intended in getting bribe, they come home fix and ask for money. I have a feeling that they break it on purpose.                               BSNL is good, but the employees of bsnl are not so, i had face such a rude behavior of one lady in madipakkam customer care office (which is next to SBI Madipakkam), i went there to enquire about BSNL broadband connection, she said "what do you want? don't come here.. go to guindy bsnl office". don't know why BSNL appointed such a nice persons in customer care.
                              bsnl cellular services are good, but customer care is very poor. i am a prepaid customer of exel gold service. infact there will be a deduction of Rs. 70/- every month for activation of exel gold service from my prepaid credit. but on november month i got two deductions of each rs. 70/- i called customer care [protected] somany times to complaint on this regarding. every time i got an answer that the complaint is recorded, and being followed up. it is 4 days since this was happen. but no progress is there. and it was very horrible to catch an attendent on customer care.

                              I m the subscriber of Ranchi telecom district. From the last 6-7 days no call is matured easily. Only after hundreds of dialling attempts call matures. Without maturing calls deduction in prepaid balance is a common practice of BSNL.
                              The Worst Customer Support and staff employed... very rude to customers, dont have the problem solving ability, very poor knowledge about products and problems, very bad English...

                              Today i tried the BSNL customer care .After a long waiting they are lifting and simply disconnecting the line. It has happend 3 times . kindly instruct the the people who are sitting there in customer care to speak to the customers who are calling them for the informations .
                              i also met the same problem. for netcard they told i will get a speed of atleast 60kbps but it s downloading at 2 kbps. which is similar to airtel gprs. they are not responding properly and the people who work there also dont hav technical knowledge about this except very feww... i regret for the govt by having this kind of employee working for them . better to recruit young people to become good service provider and get consulting from a good consultant, even a b schoool fresher can provide some strategy for bsnl .

                              I do understand any company has some hiccups, especially one which is spanning over a large country. But this is horrible. I get billed exhorbitantly for same or lesser utilization of DSL during certain months tempting us to withdraw the connection. Sometimes we suspect strong hacking attempts, when we see on opening websites like yahoo, opens UK ireland pages of yahoo with already some user id logged in and asking to type password and with logout screen [like the one which user gets when he loged into yahoo account and tries to change password, which prompts him to retype password]. When you try to call customer service, either call drops after many minutes on hold. I tried calling during one such instance to complain about hacking and billing, and one succesful time when the agent picked call, he acted as if he cant hear me after speaking to me properly for 2 minutes. I could hear him clearly. Do the agents think we are fools? If there is some genuine problem with their headsets, kindly provide them with good headsets and take care that call gets picked atleast within 5 minutes on hold.
                              Now where do i send the snapshots of the hacking which i could see on my screen, to prove that someone else possibly is using my DSL and to take care of the issue from BSNL end.

                              My Phone was dead and when I wanted to lodged a complaint in the morning from my cell the person on the other end was lifting the phone and keeping aside without answering after 1-2 hours of trying that number my husband went to office and complained, the person there was telling that we were pressurizing him and that he will complaint on us and was speaking rudely. Can an employee complain on customers, but still he was saying and after one o clock they came and rectified the problem.

                              I am a BSNL students Suvida user. I cant access my sim. screen appears asking PUK code. I called costumer care of BSNL ,they were not responding. Pls send me PUK code via email .My mob number is [protected]. Sim number is[protected].

                              My mobile is activated with 3g and gprs connection 1 month exactly fro 18.8.10 to 18.9.10 this time i have suddennly found that my money is been deducated from my prepaid card of mobile for incoming and sms incoming soon afet ganesh 10.9.10 onwards pl. help suguest I tried stop the sms services but after that my Rs.61 has been deducted from my card and after trying to topup my card it is not accpting my recharge voucher no. pl. help I am totally handicape for the bsnl service. help help help. my mob.[protected].

                              I am Prashant Kumar Haldar form U.P West AGRA and my BSNL No. is 2464242, I am totally Disagree with BSNL and his services, From last 1 months i face a problem with my Broadband Connection, BSNL Service and his facilities are very bad, When I log into http://www.data.bsnl.in to check my braodband Data Usage, It not Shows My Usage Details, a Part from that tha bill is also generate very high cost.. tell me what will I do with BSNL, I go 5 to 8 times BSNL Head Office in Agra but the concern Authorities are very careless, they tell me always call at 1500 or 2460700but they also do not listen any thing, the BSNL Customer Care Help Line is very 3rd Class, Please resolve my Problem, otherwise I take a Strict Action...

                                Sir, i would like to draw your attention towards some services provided by bsnl like caller tune, Dating service etc. These services initially charged for one month and after that without asking from the consumer whether he is willing to continue this service or not Service provider automatically renew the service and amount of Rs.20/- or 30/- automatically debited from his prepaid account. This is wrong suppose any one has initially subscribed for one month and he is not satisfied by the service and he does not want to continue it Service Provider has no right to renew it without taking consent from consumer. It is therefore requested that Service Providers shall be directed not to renew the service without the consent of consumer.

                                bsnl excelanant prepaid card — hello tune

                                please stop (079-[protected])my caller tune becouse of the my Rs.32 deduct my balance and i cant reach to custmore care center because of the customer care center my call dropping.
                                Sir,
                                I am having my mobile phone No.[protected] under "anant"scheme at Ahmedabad and a land line No[protected].Presently I am out side the country.My land line is under custody till around the end of April, 2009.My mobile phone was recharged in third week of November, 2008 by a topup card for Rs.100/-
                                At the time of recharge there was balance of Rs200/-(approx.)
                                I want to know:
                                1) Date of validity.
                                2) How to revalid if date of validity falls before 30/04/2009.
                                3)How can I know the status of my mobile connection under "ANANT" sheme.

                                This not a complain but from the website I could not find the solution of my problem.

                                I shall be very much glad if you will please guide in the matter.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  This is to informed you that I had subscribed a broadband connection with a telephone connection[protected] on 17th AUG 2007 which never worked even a single minute, Even i had never been told to which Plan I was going to use. Regarding this i did calls to Exchange many times on such numbers 2387464, 2325500 & 2001963 but nobody came to remove my trouble, i sent my hawker with a complain letter to vikasnagar, kursi road, lucknow office on 9th OCT 2007 but nobody recieved it and then I too ignored all these things. On 31st DEC 2007 i found a bill no. 80552789 with broadband usage of Rs 4360 which is quite irritating for me, then on 1st MAR 2008 i found a bill no. 86104419 with usage of Rs 4570
                                  Now getting myself in a very irritating situation, I want to surrender this broadband connection with the telephone line

                                  i have just take a new connection of BSNL with the home500c plan, where 1.5 g.b. down loading and up loading is free. as per the online account showing the usage o[censored]p link and down link data it is 558626 k b. which is equivalent to 0.53275 gb. and to my surprise they are charging for extra 1173 mb. and no one is there to receive the phone to complain...is there any one who can change these sarkari office employees ...?
                                  i agree with u 100% these sarkari people lack complete professionalism ... i applied for a connection on Nov 24.. the exchange informed me the connection wud be activated in one week .. 3 weeks passed by and the technician never showed up when contacted he said he will charge additional 250 bucks apart from installation charges for cuming al the way to my house to set up the modem . Thats !!! i drove to the exchange signed for the modem n cable myself and installed the modem myself.I got the user id and password activated on 15th Dec ...nearly 20 dez after applying .. when the bill arrived the bill was 2220/- including everything again i drove to the exchange and asked them the meaning .They said that 1500/- is refundable deposit..agreed .. wat abt the rest .. they sed by mistake the billing has been from 1st dec .. and installation is something i have to pay as i refused their services of a technician ...I politely reminded them that their technician wasn't ready to come unless I bribed him ...Finally after 3 hours of wasting time arguing they agreed to issue a letter waiving off the bill from 1st -15th dec and the installation charges ...

                                    Sir,
                                    Several times I have lodged complains over telephone
                                    and docketted about my Broadband connection fault, but till date none visited my place and no remedial measures have been taken and the fault is still in existance.
                                    One officer(didn't disclose his designation) heard me sympathetically and requested me to make docket further at 1500.I have complied and docket no is W8065.
                                    Another officer expressed himself as S D E over telephone told me that they are unable to rectify the defect and uttered the language thinking me as his servant.
                                    He has forgotton that he is getting his salary by the payments done by the customer of BSNL.
                                    However, I am requesting him, in this position, to arrange to compensate the amount for the mental torture and loss due to non getting of service of my broadband connection for a indefinite period.
                                    Still I hope that the remaining officer of that exchange will take care to solve my problem.
