I have broadband connection in valsaravakkam exchange. The connection was shifted from anna nagar exchange. To get it reconnected it has taken almost 10 days time. I have to run and contact people in the exchange to get the connection resinstalled.

Within after 20 days of reconnection, there is some problem in the modem. Contacted the customer service. They have advised to contact valasaravakkam exchange. The excahnge asked us to bring the modem.When we went with the modem, the response was very poor. No one even bothered to attend.

I fear that there is no mechanism in the bsnl to address the petty complaints like this.

I strongly advise you all that it is better to go to private telephone connection & In my personal opinion, BSNL will exist with no customer & may find its own way towards destiny near future.

BSNL — poor response

Sir,
I was offered a free package of games on demand for one month in the month of october .But i wanted to unsubscribe at the stroke of first month itself and tried many times to the toll free no.[protected] but always busy.In the month of november i could speak to them and as per their instructions i unsubscribed and placed a request for deactivation..But the charges for the games were included in the bill to my utter surprise.I was advised to contact 1500.Every month before the bill preparation date reminders were given to 1500 but of no use.Every month amount for the games is being included.Latest on jan18. also i got it confirmed from 1500 that it has been deactivated in the last month itself
but again in this month jan. an amount of 200Rs. is included.As per CROs
direction, this e_ mail is sent for your records to take necessary steps and and adjust the amount in the future bills. A total amount of Rs.496.77
has been paid so far upto jan month.

    I had applied for the new connection in Amrapali Vaishali, Vaishali, Ghaziabad for landline BSNL phone on 17.01.2009, Connection N0-KSB23282.Since 3 months have passed, no connection has been provided at my apartment.I have followed up with BSNL many times but in vain.

    I have applied for a new BSNL land line connection on 15.09.2009 by paying Rs. 500/- under Sulabh Scheme and my Demand Note no. is N230823 dated 15.09 and order no. BJLDLC-227.Sir only on 14.10. after one month they gave line (wiring, phone etc)but the phone is not working as the number has not been given till date. Sir please help me out at the earliest as there is 2 days holidays from 17 to 18.10.09.
    We have BSNL Landline at home I stay at Ambernath

    Without any request or any form application BSNL (ambernath) have disconnectrd our outgoing calls

    We pay the bill before due date each time.

    We registered the complaint at BSNL ofiice in writting almost 1 month is over.

    though no one has come to see the problem

    We directly concerned to branch manager Mrs Kamble she told we wi;l soon pay attention

    and our area enginner from BSNL Mr. Chaoudhary we told to him also

    Finally NO REPLY FROM BSNL What should we do????

    Coz Every time we cant have leave from our office to approch to BSNL.


    Kindly Pay Attention to our problem..and Please help me out as early as possible.Thanks..
    i am unable to get the sight for payent the landline phone bill, so it is requested to provide the perfect site which will be enable for pay the land line bill, hope you will send mail as early as posible in above concern.

      my cell No.[protected].i am getting unwanted bsnl tunes from 56700.today at 14.39 i have received 2 nos of masseges from 56700 stating that your number has been charged with bsnl tune and back round tunes and chared Rs.37/-Rupees thirty seven only.you may lp go thro the complaint and revoke the messges and tunes from 56700.i tried to contact the customer care no.s [protected] and [protected] but got wrong reply.This is for your kind information and needful action please.

      Sir, my landline number[protected] the instrument with caller ID facility which I possessed had a problem, due to which the same was taken by the linemen three months back for rectification, but not returned yet inspite of repeated reminders. The temporary instrument provided is not satisfactory. I would like to have the same type of instrument with caller ID facility once again. Please do the needful at the earliest and oblige.

      Time to wake-up...My landline number[protected], Srinagar area, Dharwad, is dead from last one week and I'm calling Saptapur exchange office on daily basis to ask when phone will be functional. They are saying that Reliance company personnel had cut the cable while digging. And they it will be set right very soon. But it's already one week and still there is no news of getting repaired. What you were doing when Reliance personnel were digging? I have already paid one year telephone bill and broadband internet amount in advance. Who is responsible for not providing internet service for one week, even after taking the amount in advance???. Plz take the immediate action to restore the connection...

      Today morning I got the SMS to my mobile saying that, my complaint docket number[protected] has been assigned to BSNL staff Sri B A More, and when I called this person, he said that it will not come under his perview. So, he can not solve the problem and he just passed on the bug to somebody else and told to contact that person. Wow...what a great service the BSNL is providing to citizens of India!!!. Within next hour I got one more SMS saying that my problem has been solved and telephone connection is restored. This is the funniest thing happened. Why because is, what I said in complaint was, actually telephone cable was cut and BSNL personnel have to come to my palce and physicially they have to replace the cable to restore the connection...and till now no single BSNL personnel have visited my place...Hats off to you BSNL...Great service...With all such kind of reluctant people in govt sectors, our prime minister Sri Narendra Modi has to give good administartion to Indian citizens...tough job...really...????

      My telephone no[protected] is not yet restored. It is not functionong from the last 10 days. I have lodged the first complaint on 5-5-2015. Already it has crossed 10 days. Still how many days you want to repair/restore the telephone/broadband connection?. I have paid Rs.2528.00 (including tax) advance rent towards using the broadband. It's comes to be Rs. 6.92 per day. For 10 days it is Rs.60.92. So, who is going to pay back the money for which broadband is not used due to BSNL's fault. Why customer has to pay for which it's not their fault? Looking forward to your reply.

        BSNL EVDO data card's speed is very-very slow. Very big headache. BSNL is not bothering to increase the speed.

        I am very much frustrated as I will be paying Rs.650 rental(new rental) per month. and not getting 2mbps. Well 2mbps sounds a joke to me, and most of the times it remains at single digit or double digit kbs. i understand distance matters, but i am only few mtrs away from bsnl office. (guwahati)

        Data Card — Evdo is running slow

        My EVDO card is running very slow.
        it is giving a file download speed of 0-30 kbps
        and takes minutes to download files.

        BSNL EVDO is an ascuse to earn money. There contention ratio is 1:98 and many a times thier BTS is over crowded. They have hooked about 98 (or more in some BTS) cards to an 1.5 Mbps Link, hence 1.5*1024/98= 15 Kbps we are getting as an average download speed. Their Dialer (ZTE Modem Dialer) shows a wrong speed as its result and speedtest results are different as ZTE dialer show port speed of your computer (i.e. the throughput). I live in Panbazzar guwahati near to thier main BTS and the speed at night about 2 AM is horrible as many users hookup to download from P2P. BSNL its time to maintain a sensible contention ratio of 1:8 like TATA indicom or close your service. Its wrong to loot money from innocent users. You have advertised a net connection o[censored]pto 2.4 Mbps then atleast give us 1 Mbps 24X7 or change your advertisement to upto 64 Kbps which is true.

        I am not sure if what i am suggestion here has been discussed on this forum as I have personally not seen it. But hope it helps those of you using BSNL EVDO in Vista. My understanding of this tweek is that it will work with other providers such as Tata and Reliance that also provide EVDO / CDMA based services but do not have either so cannot comment on this.

        Have just signed on to this forum but have been tracking many threads under the BSNL EVDO forum.

        I have been using BSNL EVDO over the last 12 months cause I thought it was a great value at Rs 500 / month for unlimited internet. Initially the speed was great and I was downloading at 100-150kbps in bursts which was better than my Airtel BB 512kbps connection.

        However in a couple of months the speed dropped drastically to max 10kbps max when downloading. I am assuming this was on account of a bunch o[censored]sers that got signed up after me. I tried in vain looking for tweeks to spped up the connection.

        I tried everything: DrTCP tool, Windows vista KB tweek, updated drivers from ZTE website, Custom drivers.. Nothing.. Absolutely nothing seemed to work to increase the speed.

        I was about to give up when i accidentally stumbled upon a tweek while driving on the highway where i was getting only 1x signal but am absolutely amazed at the speed.

        I found a website ::. Kitz - Vista TCP tweaks .:: which addressed the "Receive Window Auto-Tuning" feature in Vista being turned off. Disabling (or setting to normal) the Auto tune feature seems to have improved the perfomance drastically.

        It was simple as tying the following command while running CMD as Administrator.

        Click Start -> All programs -> Accessories
        Right Click on Command Propmt and click "Run as Administrator"
        Authenticate and then type the following line.

        netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disable

        To verify the status of Receive Window Auto-Tuning you have to type the following line in cmd

        netsh interface tcp show global

        My system was set to "highlyrestricted" before i disabled the feature.

        I tried it and was pleasantly surprised. Even without the EVDO signal, the ZTE software was showing 1x signal, I was downloading a movie at 200kbps (20kBps). Again this was on the highway with the car moving at 100kmph.

        Turning off the TCP recieve window autotuning feature, it feels like the EVDO finally responds and very quickly at that. I used to have max 2 minutes of great speeeds and then the connection would almost go dead on me. Now it works great even after a couple of hours.

        It will be great if other users in Bangalore and rest of India could try this and let me know if it works for them. I dont understand the minute technical details of why it worked for me. SO will leave it to one of the experts.

        when i buy evdo my speed is 1200 kbps but now it is varying from 250 to 400 kbps how can i improve my speed.

        BSNL EVDO is giving too slow speed in my area(Rajapur Mainpura, Patna).Most of the times it gives Avg speed of 0.40Mbps, the maximum speed i get is 0.60Mbps in my area.

        The above result i tested on www.speedtest.com.
        One of my friend who lives in Mahendru, patna usually got Avg speed of 1+ Mbps.I have tested my evdo at his place it gives same speed for evdo also.

        Following screenshot shows regular speed i got.
        So please sort out the speed problem in our area also.

        Goa - Funny thing, I used the BSNL dongle right outside their Panjim office & this is my download speed 0 -4 kbps

        Go for Reliance Modems their plans are a little costlier not the promised speeds but still good enough.
        My average wipod download speed is 1.45mbps (120 -350 kbps actual download rate)

          My mobile no: is [protected]. For the last one week, i am unable to receive sms from mob:no:[protected].The sender is getting
          delivery report at kuwait end.but i am not receiving the sms.some times there occurs huge delay in sending sms from my number and it goes to waiting status.
          Sometimes it is obseved that the same sms is received at the distant end several times.
          This causes lot of inconvenience.
          Also, I am unable to send sms to[protected].This problem is right from the day VIVA started their service at KUWAIT.
          several times lodged complaint at bsnl helpline.but still the problem persists.

          Whenever I receive a message in my mobile no. [protected] from 54000 an amount of Rs 3 is deducted from my balance. I have not subscribed for any Value added service.
          Don't deduct my balance. Please stop deducting money from my prepaid amount for receiving such message.

          Please return/refund my amount deducted by BSNL for the same. I request You to take Immediate action, I don't need any service except making, receiving call & sms. Many time I call the No. 155223 But No responsible and deactivate SMS

            sir,

            PROBLEM NO 1

            i had taken a new sim of Rs 20 form BSNL on date 12.01.2009
            according to a new scheme that was running then there in rajasthan
            circle where there was a scheme to give 75 Rs on the first recharge of
            56Rs which I did on date 22.01.2009.

            but I didn’t got the amount on 1st recharge on 22nd of the January o9

            I began to lodge the complains with the customer care center of bsnl
            and till 26th of feb I have had my 8th complain lodged and was still
            seeking the answer of the 1st one!!!

            Regarding this problem I had also contacted the customer care center
            twice but the officer SDE present there said to me to wait 3 days at
            my 1st meet and said that “YOU WILL GET THE AMOUNT IN 3 DAYS ”
            there after that I waited 7 days with no result and again contacted
            him but then he gave 15 days time and still I have not received the
            amount back in my account …well for this rather getting 25 back I have
            lost a bit more than 25 but I want to let you know that what the
            companies are doing with customers …..

            so after these all problems I have faced for 2 months I have now
            decided to move the matter to trai and this is my last hope to get my
            LEGITIMATE amount back because lodging lots of complains meeting
            customer care center Physically is not making any move ….still I want
            to say that if they happen to do it with a person like me what they
            will be doing with general rural persons????

            PROBLEM NO 2
            now when i recharged with the special tarif voucher of 230 rs (an unlimited GPRS pack) on 4th of the month they claimed to give facility of surfing withour any problem till 30 days
            but
            but

            only after 20 days they take off my service and till now it has been 10 days for which i am unable to surf the internet and for that surfing i am losing my money HEAVILY and many important tasks are held up... there seems to be a cheat with me from BSNL side and moreover when contacted personaly many a times (LEAVING OUR PERSONAL WORKS @ CUSTOMER CARE AND CCN OFFICE )
            still we are receiving no +ve response for our LEGITIMATE SERVICE!!!


            Hope that my problem will be addressed soon I I will be let known

            I have a landline conection from last 16 years, But now i want to disconect this conection because my telephone was dad on 5 may 2009 i complan for this on local exchange on 8 May 2009 the complan was registrd on 20 th number of complan ragister. But till today nobody has come to chack my telephon conection. I am going to consumer court for this irregularity. I have a broadband conection on this number.
            So pls take some action for this.

            महोदय मै कन्हैयालाल रैगेर {ग्राम- गुदलिया } बांदीकुई का रहने वाला हूँ मने दिनांक २५-१०-२००४ को गुदलिया एक्सचेंज से नए टेलीफोन कनेक्शन के लिए उप मंडल अधिकारी {तार} बांदीकुई आफिस में आवेदन किया था इसके लिए मुझे डिमांड नोटिस उसी दिन जरी करदिया गया था जिसके मिलने पर मैंने बतौर मांग पत्र संख्या [P2/GDL/04-05/66] के संधर्भ में Rs 500/ डाकघर {मण्डी-बांदीकुई} में दिनांक[protected] को जमा करवा दिया था! तब मुझे बोला गया था की आपका प्रतीक्षा सूचि में नम्बर है वर्ष 2007-08 में मेरे से बाद में जिन लोगो ने आवेदन किया था उन लोगो के नए फोन लग गए ? तो मने बी एस एन एल के बांदीकुई कार्यालय में पता किया {SDO-TELEGRAF} बांदीकुई ने मुझे बताया की आपकी फाइल खो गयी है . हम कुछ नहीं कर सकते है जबकि मेरे पास मांग पत्र की एक कॉपी[SDOT-TELEGRAF] की मोहर लगी हुई है . और जमा कराये गए RS500/की रशीद भी मेरे पास उपलब्ध है .महोदय ! इस फ़ोन के चक्कर में मुझे कई हजारो रुप्प्ये का नुकसान हो चूका है .अब मै क्या करू ? मुझे कोई रास्ता दिखाए !

                I have sent sms for gprs settings some 20 times in 7days, recharged with Rs 99 voucher for gprs 7days back, talked to customer care(in the process i have memorized all the recent schemes)some 25 times and ever talked to GM BSNL orissa Mr U.S.Panda and his associate Mr Bibhas([protected]) as many times. Each time same reply.we will send the settings soon.If this is the attitude towards a govt.doctor who needs internet for disease surveillance etc. imagine the plight of the layman.the company should be dissolved if such attitude is shown at the highest level.

                ihave got the sms from bsnl GPRS then i have recharged with 99 voucher for GPRS on 19/07/2009. i have talked to ur customer care in more than 100 time to get the setting. but each time same reply.we will send the settings soon. so plz consider this matter . otherwise ur service is a bad service for the customers.

                Sending request to 53733 for activating GPRS on my mobile but everytime the message comes back from 53733 Unable to send request to Router and message i send to 53733 everytime making a charge of 10paise if this service is not available why don't bsnl stop messaging on 53733

                  It has been more than 20days from the day i applied for shifting of telephone.

                  It is very urgent for me to have the phone connection at home. As I have to use broadband connection too.

We have applied for shifting of our telephone connection on 18.08.2009 from one Block to another Block in the same area at New Alipore. Till to day it has not been done. One short height man had approached our office on 25.08.2009 with a commitment to shift the same in next day, but it has not been done till today evening. You are requested to attain the job a an early date.

                      Our land line connection is disconnecting even though I am paying the prompt payments through ECS. Since 3 months I am facing the problems due to this disconnecting. BSNL people's services are not good at all. On the date of 16.04.2009 I booked a complaint (Docket No. is 102) and the linemen came and made repair. Again the same day night onwards the telephone has been disconnected. on the date of 17.04.2009 I repeatedly booked another complaint (Docket No. is 107).

                        BSNL WLL CONNECTION — bsnl wll connection - not working for last 8 months

                        I am business man Residing at coimbatore, Tamilnadu and I have a problem with the WLL line and on that for last 8 months a lot of times i has been reported orally but totaly invain. On 02.04.2009 in written i have lodged a complaint by person at the gandhi park telephone exchange and Ram Nagar Customer Service Center and On last july 16th july we have dropped an email regarding cable telephone connection. In that last 17th july an email came from AGM(PR), COIMBATORE – 43 stating that Work order has been issued for initiating the work. But still now dated on 6th august there is no symptoms for initiating the work.

                        Without working for the WLL phone, I am paying upto date payment to the department.

                        Hence I have decided to go to consumer court.

                          Dear sir,
                          i draw your very kind attention towards lazyness of B.S.N.L. LUCKNOW employees.
                          (1) I cut the broad band connection of B.S.N.L(500/-RENTAL PLAN)on 29-08-08, and take a w.l.l.connection of b.s.n.l..
                          regarding this i had done all the paper work.
                          (2)But b.s.n.l.unneccerily sending me the bills, first few months i think this is my monthly telephone bill, but when i saw same amount bills coming again and again, when i contact local telephone exchange(chandan nagar), they told me this is due to "your broad band is not cutted due to some official resons, then they cleared the amount in the latest bill(the money excess taken from me) and said that they write my phone no. in the diary, in future you are (suman chaturvedi) bother about that, some 295/-rs remaining are adjusted in next bill.
                          (3)Again the efficient employees of bharat sanchar naigam limited, lucknow, send me the bill with the same mistake, they add the broad band charges.
                          (4)I am a senior citizen with diabeties and blood pressure like disease, this is not possible for me to run again and again for the same cause, in which i am not guilty.
                          This time too i try my level best but frustrated by the working of b.s.n.l.lucknow, chandan nagar, and decided to mail, if no one is ready to my voice this time i am ready to disconnect phone.

                            Sir,

                            I used to pay my telephone bill on-line using the facility available @ http://www.bangaloretelecom.com/
                            During the first week of march, I used the on-line facility to pay my bill for the month of February for an amount of 513 INR.
                            When my credit card bill (ICICI) arrived, I noticed that there were two seperate entries made for this transaction (same date and same amount). On contacting the ICICI customer care, I was told that I need not pay the telephone bill for the month of march and it will be adjusted with the extra 513 Rs. which I had paid to BSNL for the February month's bill.

                            Subsequently as the bill amount was the same for March month (Rs. 513) I did not pay my telephone bill for the month of March. On April 19-th I noticed that my telephone was not working as I did 't pay the march month bill.
                            Since I had some emergency I went ahead and paid the march month BSNL telephone bill (once again online) on April 20-th and the telephone started working.
                            For february month - I paid 513 + 513 Rupees (bill amount was 513)
                            For march Month - I paid 513 Rupees

                            So now I would like to know, how you could adjust that extra amount which I had paid for the February month bill. Kindly respond.

                              Hi my name is Saagar and I'm from nagpur, I'm using Data One Broadband and the speed i'm getting is so poor that a 5 mb file takes 40 mins to get download and they say 2 Mbps super speed. I'm sick and tired of complaining and they don't do a thing about it. Please tell what should i do so that these people provide me proper service. If any other information is reqired please let me know.

                                BSNL HARYANA CDMA INTERNET system is so much faulty that if connected we do not have ALWAYS WORKABLE SPEED.Even there is no arrangement for recrded compalints and redressing system.In spite of so many complaints up to highest level no results as at top the officers blindely support junior staff actions resulting in harrassment of helpless customers.

                                  BSNL RBT

                                  Respected sir,

                                  I have downloaded BSNL RBT (code is 117278) on 22 April evening thru my bsnl net accout and same was deduct RBT charges from my a/c on dated 23 April 25, 2009 05:00 hrs, and receive conform message, Since I didn't get the above RBT tune...

                                  Also I called BSNL customer care on several time for above matter but not receive correct answer and till time not solve this problem....

                                  In such case, your next bill would be charges a screwing charges as 'one time charges' of Rs.500/- byu the AOTR, BSNL, Trivandrum, and they would not attend any of their telephone numbers.:[protected] / 2302765 / 2533063 / 2542344 /[protected] / 2380622 / 2377373 / 2377110 to look into your maters.
                                  BSNL Officers and other staff have other jobs than attending your complaint.

                                  My bill and my friends bills are included Rs.500/- this month towards their one time charges (screwing?)
                                  What is one time charges? Is there any two time or three time charges ? Where are the explanations for such accounts in BSNL since I could not find out it in their website nor anybody attends the call at Trivandrum or Ernakulam, . i do not want to just know what it it, but I want its justification also

                                    For the past one month i am faceing permanent problem with BSNL broad band.
                                    I am not able to browse even for one miniute
                                    Please attend the same as early as possible

                                    My bsnl braod band is disconnecting regularly and i am giving compliend at Ph: 1504
                                    We had BSNL broadband connection since when than it started at BURHANPUR (M.P.) & in starting BSNL people told us that BB facility not available in your exchange right now so you have to take connection of another exchange & for the purpose we had taken new telephone connection number[protected] & we used it for several months, but in that connection also we experienced frequent disconnection with ADSL & for that we complained to BURHANPUR as well KHANDWA BSNL office from time to time & but no improvement was there.

                                    Ultimately we decided to take one more BSNL WLL connection number 202067 for internet purpose but its again have limitation of speed so after using it for couple of months we disposed off it.

                                    Again BSNL office informed us that in our exchange also BB facility started so we taken connection over 245201 number which we were using only for fax purposes but again the same problems encountered us of frequent disconnection of ADSL so we called so many times to BSNL office & once a guy attended at office & informed us that you have to put a telephone instrument simultaneously to overcome this problem so we did that.

                                    It was perfectly working for couple of months but again its gives regular disconnection with ADSL, technically we could not understand what wrong goes with us?

                                    Kindly suggest, we are also ready to make other expenses if needed,
