Hi!! I HAVE A SALARY ACCOUNT WITH AXIS BANK AND HAVING GOT MY SALARY YESTERDAY I WENT THIS MORNING AT 11.15 AM TO THE NEAREST ATM FROM MY HOME TO WITHDRAW MONEY. THE ATM WAS OF CANARA BANK IN RATHTALLA, KOLKATA. I PUNCHED IN THE SYSTEM TO WITHDRAW RS. 12000 FROM MY SALARY ACC. AND WHILE THE ATM WAS COUNTING THE MONEY THEIR ENTIRE SYSTEM GOT SHUTDOWN AND MY CARD WAS REJECTED AND I NEVER GOT ANY MONEY. SO I WENT TO ANOTHER ATM AND FOUND THAT RS. 12000 WAS DEBITED FROM MY ACCOUNT WHICH I NEVER GOT. THAN I CALLED UP CANRA BANK AND THEY TOLD ME TO LAUNCH A COMPLAIN WITH MY OWN BANK WHICH IS AXIS BANK WHICH I HAVE ALREADY DONE. AFTER THE APPLICATION PROCESS WAS COMPLETE WE WERE TOLD BY AXIS BANK THAT IT WILL TAKE MINIMUM 45 TO 60 DAYS FOR ME TO GET THIS MONEY BACK AS THEY WILL HAVE TO PUSH THIS MATTER WITH CANRA BANK. IF IT WAS AN AXIS BANK ATM THEY WOULD HAVE SOLVED IT IN TWO DAYS BUT PUBLIC SECTOR BANKS WORK SLOWER AND THATS WHAT MY PROBLEM IS. WHY AS A CUSTOMER SHOULD I WAIT 45 TO 60 DAYS FOR THE AMOUNT TO COME BACK TO ME BECAUSE OF CANARA BANKS ATM FAILURE IN THIS ERA OF COMPUTERIZATION. MY FAMILY IS DEPENDENT ON MY SALARY.
