Sir, I Mr V. S. Mallapur S.B.A/c No.[protected] at KLE Extn Counter Rajajinagar, -II Block, Bangalore, had two transactions in your Canara ATM opposite to New Bus Stand in Gokul Road, Hubli on 11th July, 2008 at about 8.15 a.m.
1. Withdrawal order for Rs.1500/-, but got Rs.700/-(Rs.800/- short) instead of two 500-/ dinomination notes I got two 100/- dinomination notes because of misloading of notes in the ATM machine.(i.e 100x2+100x5=700/-)
2. Withdrawal order for Rs. 800/- but got Rs. 400/-(Rs.400/-short). instead of one 500-/ dinomination note I got one 100/- dinomination note (i.e 100x1+100x3=400/-)
On the same day, I gave a written complaint to the concerned Bank Manager Mr. A.P. Rao. at Laxmi Nagar branch. He recieved my application assured of refunding the amount within two days.
The same thing hve happened to around 7 to 8 people on the same day and all have complained to the laxminagar branch manager. I dont know about their fates, but for the Manager kept on telling me that, he has approached the G.M. & concerned officers in Bangalore Office. But no results till today. The persons who are authorised to load the notes into the said ATM are the Branch Manger and a clerk. I dont know what actually is going on. But this is very ridiculous and in case no action taken to refund my money, wil be refferred to the Customer Grievences and The Court.

iam vijayapandian, canara bank account no 21389, canara bank atm card no: [protected].went to draw money i(Rs 8500)n indian bank atm, poondy bazzar branch, east tambaram, chennai-59, on 1 .10.2008.the transaction was declined but RS /-8500 has been dectuded from my account. sir, i am jewel appraiser to canara bank c.n.halli, tumkur district. here is tow appraisers.the manager is not sharing cases equally.

I am an Account Holder Nasira Abdullah of Vaniyambai Branch (0951) and my SB A/c # is 14010, I have deposited a D. D. Of Rs. 2000/- on 19/02/2008 obtained from Canara Bank, Bangalore.
On 19/02/2009 at Chennai I went to withdraw the same amount it was showing ( - 3000/-) in minus, where there was a balance of 490/- or something. Immediately my son called the Bank and I was shocked and disappointed to know from the Manager about the withdrawal of Rs. 5000/- on 14/08/2007 from the ATM, where as I have not done any transaction on that day and there is no any entry made in my Pass Book. Also the Manager asked me to come to Vaniyambadi all the way from Chennai to clarify. Please verify the same and instruct them to produce the proof of withdrawal transaction of 14/08/2007.

Iam an Account Holder of Canara Bank. I operated the ATM centre located in Jalahalli Cross, Bangalore (peenya branch) on July 08, 2008 in order to withdraw 20, 000Rs. Unfortunately, money didn't get dispensed from the ATM machine, but the amount was deducted from my account[protected]. Regarding the incident I had lodged a complaint with Peenya Branch on July 09, 2008 & also sent a copy of the same to the Beml Ext center, Mysore (since my account was there) as per the directives of the branch. I had attached a soft copy of the complaint for your kind reference.
I didnt get any response from the bank for long time. Till this moment it takes 8months.I complained so many times but no one respond properly.Could anyone gives the suggestion to get my money back.please help me.

anything. When i went to the bank they talk very roudly and do misbehave with me. The condition of
this bank is very poor, the cashier is a very old man who accepts money very slow and the queue
bacomes very big. Many times People call the police also as they misbehave and did not cooperate.
One more thing that the manager of the bank is also changes with in 15 days.
Finally i think that i must inform about all this, and i again say the condition of this branch is very
poor. i hope you understand my problem and atleast you do something. I want some strict action against them.

Yesterday(01-June-2009) I tried to withdraw 10, 000 /--10, 000 /- Rs two times from icici bank ATM sector-60 Noida but due to some problem ATM did not release money and show error on screen but 20, 000 /- Rs has been deducted from my account.

Hi Sushil, Write a written complain to the branch where you have an account. Registered post with acknowlegedement would be safe. Usually the bank takes a long time like 1-2 months, however you will need to constantly be behind them. It happened with me also... All the best.

sir/madamI am a sbi account holder in VIRUDHUNAGAR branch in TAMIL NADU.. my account num: [protected]; i used my ATM card in CANARA bank ATM centre in ANTHIYUR branch on 12/07/09 at 01:45 am, station id 10352419..
I swaped the card for Rs 3200/- as a result of which a transaction slip came out saying transaction declined and money did not appear, i tried again but the same thing happend.I thought there is some problem with the machine so i went to another machine where i used my card and came to know that the sum of Rs 3200/- is already deducted from my account when i used the CANARA Bank ATM..
I made complaint over this issue in my branch on 16/07/09.. they gave me this number for complaint reference R-2864055, but still now i (16/08/09) havent received any sort reply from them. so kindly make a note on this and make my money return back soon..

your atm is located in Swaraj Mazda Ltd Copmlex. there is hadly cash is available in atm machine. so many time i requested to officials but nothing is done. they display the tele no also but there is no response.

Canara Bank ATM Issue — Canara Bank ATM Issue
My sb ac is in Hadapsar Branch, Pune. AC No is 25827. ATM Card No is [protected]. On 13/07/2008 I have used IDBI ATM Centre, Sansane Nagar, Hadapsar to withdraw an amount of RS15000/-(Fifteen thousand RS Only). Due to some technical problem money didn't come out. But the amount hasbeen deducted from my AC. On[protected] I have given a complaint to the branch manager and I have contacted on call centres of Canara Bank but of no use. Please help me to get back my money.
